I had cut color and style by Genesis. She was very meticulous, professional and friendly. She gave me exactly what I wanted. The atmosphere was very friendly, and clean. The owner Carlos came and introduced himself to me. You just don’t see that in most businesses anymore, and I really appreciated that. It shows he really cares about his customers. I will definitely be back!

Some members of the staff are a little more personable than others, but generally theres someone for everyone.

I went in to try this place today because Im new in the area and looking for a place to get my hair and nails worked on... And now I think Ill never go anywhere else! I had a pedicure and eyebrow wax with Lynn who was amazing and then got my hair colored with Abbey who was so great at explaining the colors and did a wonderful job!! I moved to Jacksonville over a year ago and havent had my hair cut since before COVID. After searching on google I saw all the reviews for this place so my friend and I decided to call and book today. They had 2 spots available which was great because it is a Friday 🙌. We walked-in and instantly loved the whole vibe of the place ❣️. Paul washed, cut, styled my hair and I was confident with him the entire time. I already booked my next appointment for color with Paul next week. My hair and I feel great and I enjoyed a glass of 🍷while being pampered! This was much needed and we had a great experience at the same time.

I will preface this by saying I absolutely hate getting my hair done. It usually takes so long I get super fidgety. Its a whole thing. However, I can not say enough nice things about this salon. Tatum did an absolutely amazing job. My hair looks awesome. She listened to what I wanted and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. It was the most fun I have ever had getting my hair done. The owner walks around and interacts with all of the customers giving it a family vibe. Loved it! Will never go anywhere else! I was nervous about finding a new salon after moving from out of state. This was my second try at a salon, and I’m so pleased with the results. Lauren was super friendly and did an incredible job taking me from blonde to a deep red - and we had time for a Brazilian blowout too! I also got to meet Carlos and he assisted with mixing colors to make sure we matched the reference photo I provided. I definitely recommend the salon (everyone seemed to be in good spirits and were all super knowledgeable). I will definitely be coming back to Lauren from here on out :)

This company is very unprofessional, the place has no organization. Had to wait over my time and then was rushed through my service. I have positive attitude but later I noticed my nails were crooked and whenever I called to explain to the receptionist and owner they told me there is absolutely nothing they will do for my issue. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this horrific place. It should be shut down, also the owner wanted to explain his personal business of a loss of his son as it made the situation of my nails being messed up okay instead of understanding and making my issue right.

Amie does my hair and it always look beautiful and I have many compliments when I leave. Several of my neighbors have also started going to her and are very happy.

My hair color was with Genesis. I was so happy after such a long time with my hair transformation. She took time and made sure to give the best service possible. The only thing I had little hesitation was, especially now in this pandemic, I did not see that much involvement in wearing mask. The basin where you wash your hair is not even 1 ft distance, i was literally next to some teenagers and they were not even wearing mask. Being a part of the healthcare, this is something I recommend you guys should follow now. There might me some people with chronic condition wearing mask. The situation is different now even though you sanitize, extra precautions are much needed. I hope next time I will feel more confident about Hygiene. Overall experience is great. Thank you!

Not one proper mask was worn in the store. I saw maybe one tiny face shield which is hardly effective. None of the stylists wore masks, nor did they seem concerned with any of their customers wearing masks either. You are in close proximity to both your stylist and other customers, it is very unsanitary. Wearing a proper mask is really not that hard.

My stylist Abbey was really sweet. But I told her, I do NOT want to be blonde. Well I walked out and washed my hair immediately. Im still left with super blonde highlights. Very sad and disappointed. I get my hair done once a year so its a HUGE treat for me but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed.UPDATE: I reached out to the salon and they were very accommodating. I have another appointment so they can fix the color so Ive updated my review.

Had my first appointment with Genesis. I wear an asymmetrical pixie cut and have not had a quality cut for some time. She sat with me to understand what I wanted made some suggestions and I put myself in her capable hands. The end result was amazing. Nick has been cutting my hair for years and I cant imagine anyone else touching it. After going way too long without a haircut, Nick cut my hair last week and I walked out of the salon feeling better and with more confidence than in a while. Wonderful experience every time I go. Everyone there is so friendly and you can tell they all get along which makes for a great atmosphere. The owner, Carlos, keeps everyone laughing. But it is no laughing matter when it comes to hair styling. My stylist Kim, is very dedicated to her profession. She always has ideas and i feel very comfortable saying whatever you think Kim I am always happy with the end result because I know it was a well thought out and perfect decision. The reception is always great too as I am one of those clients that waits too long and then must get in that week. They go the extra mile to try and fit me in.

I have box dye damaged hair trying to go from dark brown to blonde and I have been impressed with the results. I have only done two treatments and my hair is already very blonde. I went in for a consultation for permanent eyeliner. They have a groupon for around $250.During the consultation, I was told the original visit is $300 and each subsequent visit to finish is $125. I was informed it takes at least two visits but some people can take more. One woman took five visits. (So she had to spend $800 to get the eyeliner she wanted.) She informed me that due to different skin types, she had no way to know just how many visits it would take.I told her that $425 seemed pricey to tattoo 2 lines. (I did not want my lower lids done). I have seen full color, beautiful tattoos done for that price. She said it is because body tattoo artists are a dime a dozen, but she is a specialist.When I did my research online, I saw permanent eyeliner that looked the way I prefer to wear mine: thinner at the corner of the eye. Thicker at the end of the lid with a little wing.The technician said that wouldnt be possible as she doesnt do wings. Her eyeliner stops at the end of eye lid. She showed me several photos of her work, but they looked like someone had just drawn a thin black line on the eyelid with a sharpie. Some of the older women seemed to prefer just a thick dark line. It wasnt attractive. There was no dramatic effect before and after.She said I would still have to apply eyeliner to achieve the little wing that my eyeliner has. I did not schedule an appointment to have the procedure done. If you cant give an accurate cost, (and why would there be an incentive to complete the procedure in a timely fashion if you earn $$ for each touch up), and I would STILL have to wear eyeliner after the procedure, then I cant see a point in paying that kind of money.

Carlos has been cutting and now coloring my hair for over 20 years. When I walk out I feel and look like a million bucks. Now hes got a new product line and it makes my hair feel and look great. Ive been using it for about a month now. Im glad I gave it a try. Carlos gets 5 stars for my cut, color and now product.

Im very picky with my salon choices, and upon moving to Jacksonville, this was one of the higher rated salons. It has a beautiful atmosphere and the environment is pretty relaxed. The aesthetic is nice, and the place is huge. But thats where the positives end.Without mentioning names, some of the staff there seems like they didnt want to be there anymore than I did. A smile goes a long way. I felt like I was a burden on them. Ironically, my stylist was pretty good, but she had no idea what she was doing. Anytime I requested my hair to do a certain thing or wanted it to look a certain way, she looked at me like I just landed from mars and had a green face. Unfortunately for her, I had salon experience and never, ever, should a stylist impose her own opinions on someone else, when someone specifically asks for something. If anything, tell me why Im wrong or enlighten me on a better way of doing it.. not just continuing to do things her normal way to make her life easier. No bueno!

I had permanent eyeliner done and I absolutely love it! Sarah does a wonderful job.It took 3 visits to get to the thickness I wanted as she is conservative but she does explain that right from the start. After all you can always add more but you cant take it back once its done. Thank you Sarah I love my eyeliner!!!!❤

The cosmetic tattoo artist at For Your Eyes Only Salon, SARAH, is very talented! I was nervous about the idea of getting my eyebrows tattooed, but I chose Sarah because I saw her work on other people and had faith that she would be able to create the look I have always wanted. She was very clear with me about her process, method, and ultimate plan. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has always wanted to take this step but has been hesitant due to seeing people with bad tattooed eyebrows. Dont let that fool you into thinking all services are equal... They are NOT!!

Myself and 5 of my bridesmaids had a day planned of relaxation on september 21 . 2 days prior to our appointment that had been booked 3 months out, we contacted you to confirm that we would be attending our 9 am appointment. At which point we were told that our appointments didnt start until 1030. We arrived at 1015 and filled out our paperwork. Myself and one of my bridesmaids were taken back first to get our massages and facials. To my surprise we were in a room together not by request. I was very pleased with the outcome of my massage and facial. When I went back to the lobby I found 2 of my girls just sitting around. They hadnt been taken back for any services and we had been there for about hour and a half. The day was very unorganized and stressful for myself and my girls. There were multiple occasions that the employees were arguing in front of us about where everyone was supposed to be. We were juggled around all day. We were there for a total of 8 hours (1030-630). I had to cancel plans for the afternoon because our entire day was consumed at the salon. This is completely unacceptable. No one in the party left feeling relaxed due to the lack of organization. Although I didnt mention anything while I was there I find myself more frustrated as time goes by. I was so excited for months for this and I was very disappointed. I felt as if we were treated poorly due to us having a group on and or because of the volume of people. As mentioned before we had our appointment booked months ahead of time so Im unsure of why there were organization issues.

Awesome! Paul really cares about his clients and lives what he does. Brought my 22 year old for highlights and trim the result was fantastic. Today I came in to let Paul give me a fresh new look, again he did a great job!

Absolutely loved this place! All the employees are so friendly and kind and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. The place is clean and well maintained. Jewel did my hair and the results are wonderful!! She’s very talented and kept me comfortable, relaxed, and entertained my whole visit. She was very straightforward with me about my hair condition and layed out a well-thought-out treatment plan for me. Absolutely enjoyed my visit and i’ll be here again very soon!
