Prose is the best nail salon experience! The atmosphere is very relaxing and clean. I appreciate being able to book online or in person. The extra touches of serving beverages, offering warm neck wraps, and cleaning your rings while having a mani/pedi — just puts them over-the-top 5⭐️‘s. Stephanie does wonderful work!

I came here for my nails for the first time and was greeted by the manager which was amazing. He offered me a drink, a neck wrap, and showed me around. I then got my nails done which turned out amazing. I found out their products are vegan and all natural. I loved that for my sensitive skin. The nail tech was Hailey and the mangers name is Jordan which is funny cause my name is Jordan as well. Thank you Hailey and Jordan!!

I love this salon! Modern, clean, and have a calming atmosphere. Stephanie does AMAZING work! She’s so meticulous and have such a great personality! Jordan, I assume is the manager, is fabulous!!! He’s hilarious and always a pleasure greeting him when I walk in. I highly recommend this place!!!

I forget the ladies name that did my pedicure but she was awesome attitude wise. But the service u get for your money is not worth it. Also a day later my feet looked worse than they did before I got a pedicure. I would have to say the way they do pedicures suck. On the other hand they are too expensive, also they charge you for not having a membership to the shop. If you ask them they will say they dont but let me tell you if you go there they do. They charged me a 10 dollar non membership fee. For two pedicures it was 130 dollars. I have never in my life paid that much. I use to paying no more than 100. Thats because of that extra fee that Prose charges.

I’m so glad I found Prose and Stephanie! I love the vibe of the salon. It’s inviting, comfortable, clean and never crowded (which I appreciate). Every staff member is so personable.As someone who is super particular about her nails, I have to say, hands down Stephanie is amazing! She takes her time with my manicure service and always does a great job! I’m always satisfied when I leave. I have definitely found my nail salon and go to tech now.

Got a gift card to come here for Christmas and was very impressed! I came in and was greeted with a glass of wine of my choosing and everyone was super friendly! The technician did an amazing job on my nails (SNS) and I’m impressed with the quality days later. Will definitely be coming back! Edit: I cracked one of my nails a week later (the seat of my barstool came up while I was adjusting myself and I slammed my finger between the wooden legs and the wooden seat+ my body weight). Not only did I not feel a thing (it should have hurt like a mfr), but my nail is still completely intact and you can hardly see the crack.

10/4-- its been a month since my last few- the owner reached out- said it would call and never did. I still have $135 worth of credits that I never received back to my bank account. 🙄I would like to update my experience....I signed up with Prose the first couple of weeks after the Mandarin location opened. I was given an “Early Bird Special” rates which was great. LOVED it. Went in, was always taken care of and it was wonderful.Then Jordan became the manager at that location.Upon arrival, I was never offered blankets, neck wraps, ring cleaning which is all included but it was never offered. When my package changed without my approval – the membership fee was raised without my approval or even an email to say it was happening – I tried to cancel my membership. Jordan asked to just give it a chance. After that, he was very friendly upon arrival. At that point I didn’t have a dedicated person but every time I would come in my nails were painted horrible. It was the worst manicure. I complained a few times and was told I could come back and have them fixed but the fee was NEVER waived. I always had to pay to have them fixed even though they were messed up. (I have text documentation of this).I then discovered Hailey who is Absolutely amazing and I have never had a complaint. (if you go, see her, she really is the best)I’m not sure what changed but over the past few months, Jordan has become VERY unprofessional. As a business owner, I love when I can get personal with my clients- but- there comes a time when it is a little much.I had 2 appointments booked back to back – 1 for dip mani and a regular polish pedicure. I thought it was for 11:30 – however, I was busy that day and had in my head that it was 11:30…. I showed up at 11:30- Hailey just looked at me and said she didn’t know what was going on and that I couldn’t sit down yet. Even though I had 2 back to back appointments with Hailey and was a few mins late (I would like to note I have never no showed for an appointment), Jordan was trying to give my appointment away to another customers daughter who is not a member…… Keep in mind I had 2 appointments…. I was informed that because I was 15 mins late, they would NOT be able to do both appointments. I reduced my dip appt to a gel and Hailey did a polish change on my toes while my gel was soaking off……… so my 2 ½ hour appointment was then reduced to an hour… Jordan left half way through the appointment and Hailey said she was very frustrated that Jordan kept doing things like that and then just decided to leave in the middle of his shift but she was happy he did because she couldn’t handle his attitude..3 weeks later, I tried to schedule another appointment with Hailey which she was completely blocked off so I reached out to her directly about her schedule. Jordan (which I have via text) contacted me and stated that I could come in on a Tuesday July 21 at 2 pm….I confirmed Tuesday at 2 and was told Yes by Jordan…. I arrive that Tuesday at 2 after leaving work and having my afternoon blocked off - only to find out that Jordan had messed up the schedule, tried to blame it on another employee. When I said “seriously, is there anyone else?” he said “no but I can book you for Friday”…. I said “you’ve got to be kidding me” and walked out.My membership has since been canceled, however, to date I have not received my full refund for credits on my account.

If you guys are looking for a clean environment, come check out this salon! They offer memberships and cater to ALL INDIVIDUALS. Such nice and respectful workers that take their work seriously. Come check out Prose if you are ever in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is so relaxing and doesn’t feel like your average salon. Everyone here takes great care of me and I appreciate how respectful the artists are with everyone in the salon and with each other. I love coming here and have supported them since they have opened.

I had an amazing artist named Stephanie she made sure all my needs were met. The front desk staff were amazing Shelby offered me a complimentary glass off wine with my service! Would recommend if you are looking for a clean and fun environment.

I have passed by this business numerous times and finally tried it out. The customer service I received from beginning to end was excellent. I was immediately impressed with the professionalism from the young lady at the front desk. She was very courteous and offered me something to drink right away. Victoria did a wonderful job on my pedicure and I noticed the care that the employees took when sanitizing everything. The ladies room was also very clean (unlike many nail salons). A gentleman asked if he could refresh my drink while my nails dried. You might pay slightly more here for the services but they are absolutely worth it on every level. I will definitely be coming here for all future services because of the excellent customer experience I had.

This is absolutely the best place to get your nails done if you’re wanting an exceptional experience. Having gone to many other nail salons all over the city, Prose is by far, the only nail salon that is truly a cut above the rest. It is modern, beautiful, with a boutique style experience. Because they do not perform acrylics or use any harsh chemicals, there is not a strong chemical acetone odor like you find in other salons. It just smells and feels fresh! We wanted a place that would accommodate our bridal party before the wedding for manicures and pedicures, and this place went above and beyond to make sure we felt pampered and special. They even prepared a special surprise for us upon arrival! Jordan at the front desk was very responsive in communicating with us prior to our appointment and all the nail techs that worked with us were incredibly talented. They took their time to make sure our nails looked perfect. Everyone was so friendly and warm. The salon itself was so incredibly clean, chic, and gorgeous! It was by far the best nail spa experience for all of us and we are just grateful that Prose has come to Jax!

I have been to Prose 5 times now (seeing Hailey and Victoria) and will not go anywhere else! The atmosphere is such a better feel than the traditional nail salon. Everyone is so nice and makes you feel like a VIP client! Jordan is always extremely helpful and willing to work with your schedule. I recommend Prose to all of my friends and family!

This place was the best place I sent my wife to. It was the best money I could have spent on her. It was super easy for me and simple to get my wife her weekend personal care day while me and the boys had a day.i would have put more than 5 fives if I could have if possible but, sadly I cant. To be honest when I went in to this place I kinda wanna try it myself, not sure if that lowers my masculinity but, lowkey though this business makes me wanna try it out with boys cause we are in the military and have bad hands and feet from all the rucks and training. If you have girlfriends, boyfriends, fiancé or married. This place is the go to for your S/O for sure 10/10

First of all, the spacious and well-appointed setting at Prose starts your experience off right. I enjoyed chatting with Kate, one of the lovely nail technicians and my nails look great! The choice of colors at Prose suit my taste, and I am always pleased with how my manicure and pedicure turn out. First time at PROSE and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff was friendly and offered great conversion while also maintaining their high level of customer service. I waited maybe 5 minutes after my scheduled time and was seen by staff who didn’t mind answering all my questions about nail upkeep as well as offer good tips on upkeep in between appointments! You will spend some coins but it is well worth it. The attention to detail I received did have me there for quite some time but my nails were trash so it was much needed so I appreciate that and will definitely be back to experience a pedicure.

I visited Prose for the first time as part of a bridal party before my sister’s wedding. Jordan handled all the contact with me with scheduling and did an excellent job communicating any changes or questions for our appointment.When we arrived to the salon, it was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The inside is beautiful and is very open and inviting.We were so impressed and surprised with the setup of mimosas and bridal decor they had for us. It really made the experience more special for the bride and the bridal party! All of our nail artists were so friendly and great to talk to.I would definitely recommend them for a bridal party pampering session. They really made it special for our event! I am looking forward to coming back as a regular customer!

I had an amazing vist to this salon. It is nothing like I have ever seen before ! The team was amazing Jordan helped me get settled and prepared for my appointment . I can’t remember my nail tecs name but she was so gentle and was a perfectionist.

I started going to Prose because I was looking for healthy options for professional nail care. I went through Breast Cancer recently and getting a manicure/pedicure was such a treat for me. Their sanitizing practice is above any I’ve ever seen! I always leave relaxed from the hand and leg massages and of course with gorgeous polished nails!! They are getting new colors in regularly so there is something for everyone.💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼

I love going to PROSE. It is not your average strip mall nail salon. I started going here consistently in May 2020 because I knew their hygiene practices and protocols have always been a high priority. This place is spotless. Every time I go, I’m greeted by name and offered the beverage of my choice (including wine and champagne) and a warm neck wrap. Tons of nail polish colors are available to choose from. They offer ring cleaning too! I highly recommend this nail salon.

Best experience I have had in Jacksonville!!!! The artists go above and beyond to make their clients happy and satisfied with their nails. (overheard a client expressing how upset they were when they missed their appointment by 45 mins and still demanded to be seen.) The nail technicians and the receptionist herself, couldn’t have been more professional and understanding despite the atrocious behavior of said client. I would like to say more but I think it’s the best way to see for yourself if this is the salon home for you! I wouldn’t be surprised if you loved it as much as I do. PROSE is a beautiful nail salon. It has a spa-like environment. I was able to get an appointment the same day. When I walked in, I was greeted, checked in, and offered a drink (water, soda, or wine). I chose from a good selection of colors, and my manicure began. My manicurist was thorough and gentle when working on my hands. She was friendly in the sense that she did smile and answer when I talked to her. She did a great job! I love how my nails look. The service, atmosphere, and quality were great. I would have given 5 stars, except that the manicurist didnt speak unless I spoke or it was about the manicure. So there was no engagement with me until I spoke. Once I did, she was very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience. Im definitely going back!

Prose has always been a pleasure to go to. Last week I had some car issues and was not able to make my scheduled appointment. Once it was resolved, they fit me in later in the day! Above and beyond customer service. Viktoria is a fabulous technician and nail artist.

I love Prose! I’ve had a Prose membership for more than a year now, and absolutely love visiting. The salon is spotless with no harsh chemical smell which I truly appreciate. Everyone is incredibly friendly and warm - exactly what you want when you’re enjoying a little “me” time. I primarily see Oksana, but have had wonderful experiences with several nail artists. My gel mani usually hangs on for 2 full weeks which is amazing. Highly recommend!

I went to PROSE for the first time on Saturday, 01.23.21 at 3:00 p.m. When I walked through the door I was warmly greeted by Jordan, and offered a libation! How do you not LOVE that!? I had a fantastic pedi and gel mani performed by Kate. The salon is lovely and open and airy, and everyone had masks on and continuously wiped down surfaces (which is very important to me as I am a T1D). I will be back!

I love Prose Mandarin! The facility is so clean and all the staff is always so sweet and they’re very talented. Jordan or Hallie always checks me in and gets me set up and makes sure I’m good on a beverage and then I love all the artists so much. Jami did my first SNS manicure at my last appointment and I love it!! Hailey and Lana have also done my nails before too and they’re both awesome as well. Everyone’s super attentive to detail and makes sure you get exactly what you want from shape to the color being right. My wife was paying about $50 every 2 weeks just to get her nails done now she has the membership and she is in love with how they pamper her at PROSE. She loves this place and is so happy that I got the membership for her.

I had a pretty decent experience but the guy working the front basically made fun of how my fingers look, and he seemed like he was under the influence. He was busy talking to one of the nail techs making plans for later in the day. Didnt seem to care about the tip I was leaving.

Oh my gosh! I love this place! SO CLEAN! Nothing else comes close! And then the level of pure talent and the professionalism is unmatched! Every single person there makes you feel so important and so cared for! They are all so kind! I absolutely love love love love this place! Love coming here for weekly mani/pedi. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the salon is always sparkling clean. The pedicure is soothing with a lavender neck wrap and they make a mean mimosa 😋 Love how beautiful my nails turn out every time.

At first, I was a little skeptical of the pricing but wow. The experience starts with answering some questions in a survey to customize the experience better. They offer water, tea or wine and have 200 colors or something. All the polish is vegan, which I didnt even know existed. I got a pedicure, which included a hot neck wrap, portable charging, ring cleaning plus all the pedicure normals. I dont often leave 5 stars but I truly feel like this place earned it. My nail tech was Janella and she was sweet! Definitely will be back to her.

I have gotten service there 3 times and out of all the 3 times I want to say Michaela was the best service I received. She worked on my nails and toes as you should and had years of experience in this career field. I strongly believe if we are paying for monthly memberships we should be having experienced employees work for this type of boutique. It’s great that you want to provide opportunities to folks who are just walking out the door of school but for this type of boutique I don’t think it’s ideal. The customer service hands down is great but when it comes to servicing it’s not so much. I believe this will improve over time that’s why the 5 stars was still given.

My first visit was impressive. My artist Jam, listened to my requests and her massages were perfect. I signed up with a membership and can book my appointments on their app. The aesthetic and attention to cleanliness combined with the natural smelling products is definitely an elevated experience for a nail salon. I’m so glad I gave it a try.

Beautiful and amazing service! But they take way too long to do manicures and pedicures...I was there over 2.5 hours (and i didn’t wait) it was just too lengthy- but the salon is so clean and so beautiful. I just can’t fit it in my schedule to go back because I don’t have that kind of time.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The quality of the products and the first class customer service can’t be beat. The manager, Michelle, was so welcoming and professional all while working hard to ensure everything was running smoothly. Tomorrow I’m going back for my third mani/pedi and I always request Sarah because I’m so impressed with her attention to detail and knowledge of the products. She’s also a lot fun to talk to and has such great personality. I’ve been getting my nails done on a regular basis for nearly 10 years now and Sarah does the best work I’ve ever seen. I can’t imagine going back to a regular nail salon after experiencing what PROSE offers. I highly recommend them!

I visited Prose after receiving an opening special text. I typically sped $120 at my normal salon, including tip. I paid $98 at Prose.The good: the salon is very clean and modern with nice extras; jewelry cleaning, hot neck wraps and beverages.The bad: The ladies working that evening seemed inexperienced. My nails were left uneven and different shapes. I used the SNS powder dip ( as I have been for 2 years ). Their color selection is fairly limited but, they did say they were just beginning that service. The young lady doing my nails seemed confused by the process and would skip fingers. She then put gel top coat on which, I found out about a week later, yellowed the color of the sns. For a mani pedi, I was there 4.5 hours. I also saw the technicians googling how to do a french manicure, which is a sign of not being confident in the skills.I wont be back due to the distance from my house and my experience, but I believe you should make your own choice, your experience may be totally different.

My nails chipped the very next day and it took hours for my toes to dry which got ruined as well. The mani/pedi with gratuity was $120. The whole experience was a disappointment. I also reached out via email and haven’t heard anything back.

I was not happy at all with the technicians abilities to perform nail duties.

Ask for Oksana, she is the best!!!!!!
