Takes a long time, but good service

Myself and two of my other girl friends were referred here from a mutual friend who had said they love it here. I’m not sure what she loves about it!? Everyone was very nice and professional, but what I paid for what I got was just absolutely ridiculous. I was suppose to have coffin nails they are square. The top coat was peeling off not even 24 hours after they were done. I went back the next morning and they offered to fix them, but I didn’t want to be there for another 2 hours like the day before... they gave me a refund for my nails and asked me to NOT write a review because they “fixed It by giving me back my money”. I’m writing this review because its not right for anyone else to pay for a service and have to go through all of this. After I left from getting a refund two nails broke which is another reason I’m writing a review. I’ve never ever had to go back the next day to a nail salon because it was simply just not done right. One of my friends who also got her nails done the same day went back the next day because she had a broken nail and a chipped nail again NOT EVEN A DAY LATER. They offered to fix her nails or offer a refund she had her nails fixed and they honestly look worse. She wished she just would of got her refund. They lady who fixed her nails told her the tech who originally did her set didn’t even work there. She didn’t know what she was doing she kept lifting the tips to make sure they were on. The other friend who went with us got their best tech and her nails have been perfectly fine maybe he should hold a training class. This is just crazy and concerning to me. PLEASE DONT GO HERE.

Just visited and loved it! The salon is beautiful and the family owed team is professional and courteous. They took their time to give awesome pedicures including massages to my mom and I. I also got a French manicure that looks perfect! Highly recommended salon. I will definitely be back!

Had an amazing first experience at Cest La Vie Nails & Spa. I had the Deluxe Pedicure from Fiona. She was very thorough and precise. She spent extra time massaging which was amazing. The salon is super cute and relaxing. The staff was very friendly, they welcomed me in even though it was close to closing time. They have one of the best color selections I’ve seen for nail polishes in the Mandarin area. I will definitely recommend and be a returning customer.

Happy to find this hidden gem in Mandarin. Its got a very relaxing atmosphere and everyone is friendly, and professional. Not to mention they do great work and are quite talented!

Fiona is amazing! So patient and so detailed. And not to brag but she is the sweetest! I got a full set acrylic with gel polish and a pedicure and she did an amazing job.

I love this nail salon. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The place is clean and bright. There is a wide selcselecof colors and the technicians know how to give an AMAZING pedicure!!! I will be a life long customer!

STAY AWAY!They are not clean, one of the ladies lets her daughter play in the dipping powders, and that’s incredibly nasty.They are so rude, andlack professionalism.

They advised there would be a 35-45 min wait which is fine, but then another woman walked in and they told her there was one person ahead of her, me, and she said that was also fine. Then after that time lapsed they asked the other woman to have a seat in a chair. I mentioned I had started waiting first and they looked at me and asked if I had an appointment, I said no but Ive been here waiting longer, to which she said again, do you have an appointment? Another woman apologized for the rude staff member and stated it would be just 5 more minutes.Very unprofessional. Experiences will probably vary, and this was my first and last time here as I am new to the area.

Terrible experience. I went in asking for white SNS. I sit down and the lady brings a very light purple powder, and I asked her ‘are you sure this is white’ she goes ‘yeah I’m sure’, meanwhile her daughter is playing in all the dipping powders and it’s nasty. She proceeds to do my nails and when she has one more coat to put on, she says ‘oh my bad this is a very light purple glow in the dark powder, that’s okay right’ I said well I don’t mind the glow in the dark much but I want white, not light purple, this isn’t what I asked for. She kept saying ‘oh it’ll get better, it’s so nice’ and it didn’t get better. She lets my thick nails dry which took over 40 mins because the SNS top coat they used is so old. The lady that did my nails (sits in the front) kept saying I should get a pedicure and do my lashes, and do my eyebrow, like please, leave me alone and mind your own business, my brows are perfectly fine. They are NOT clean as she had her kid playing in the dipping powders the whole time, and they rush the whole thing and they are incredibly rude! STAY AWAY!

I am a disabled lady and now getting treatments for pancreatic cancer. I have to use a walke I cant do much because i am weak an sick. When i get my nails done i find some escape from the pain. I visited this salon in July and we agreed on a price. The nails were absolutely perfect. I can only afford to get my nails done once a month. Kristy was the naul tech. I called this month 3 times for Kristy before they finally told me she doesnt work there any more. So i asked for the same thing and who ever answered the phone said fine Well i was assigned Gladys and she started right away aruging with me stating that i should have got the bame of the girl that made the appointment which was after my chemo all i wanted was.what i agreed on and to relax. She said her prices were different and told me this and that was 5 -18 more dollars. I told her that i only have enough to pay for what i agreed on and then she went into a sppech about she has kids to feed and how much she has to work. So being a Christian i thought i ask about her children. She said she doesnt want to talk at all. I found myself in a shouting matcn with someone i have never met. She just complained the whole time i was there. She finally reluctantly agreed on the price. I handed her a credit card and asked her to put $20,00 on that and the rest including tip i would pay for in cash. It didnt go through. I showed her i had enough money to cover the $20,00 . She didnt even look at me in the eyes. I found out later from my credit company she tried to charge for more and still take the cash. I had to use a card that is only for medication and doctors. I started crying. Now i dont have enough for a doctor co pay I appolized when they should have said sorry. I got so upset that i got a migraine and cried for a couple of hours. The place is clean and pretty but they are all about getting your money. I didnt want anything than what was promised. So if you call for a appointment get the name and just who is going to do your nails. I had an appointment. They didnt act like they were expecting me or even say hello. Good Luck getting the same thing twice and not being treated so rude. They dont rescept the elderly and disabled. I have been told to file a law suit but i am just to ill to think about that.
