My technician rushed through the whole process. Did not push cuticles back. The acrylic is so thick. I told her the nail was crooked but she said it was the shape of my finger (thumb). My daughters pedicure lasted 5 minutes. I’ve never seen anything like this place. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I normally get my nails done in Wilmington and decided to try a place in Jacksonville. I wanted pretty nails. Not nails that look like teeth.

I only like to get my nails done by the male there. He’s cool and takes pride in doing the nails. It’s fast and not expensive which is perfect for mamas who want to get pampered but not break bank or take too much time.

Fast, accurate, and straight to the point. They do a good job and make sure you are satisfied before completing the job. I recommend it.

I have been there in the past and received quality services. However, this time the person doing my pedicure seemed rushed. She was friendly and talked a lot but my pedicure was polish was sloppy . Portions of my nail were not covered. My granddaughter could have done a better job.

Very unprofessional. The lady who did my friends nails was so rude. She didn’t care she was hurting her when removing her acrylics. Kept walking away multiple times.

My sister and i got gel nails done there the first time. Hers snapped off in 10 days and mine werent what i asked for . They refused to give us a refund even though her nails came off slighty after a week . The guy replied well yeah they come off its been over a week they were supposed to last a month and i paid 160 including for our design with mine being messed on

They rushed everything and didnt even put lotion on my husband and daughters feet. When I asked to get clear nails they had a mess of bubbles and she decided to rush to cover them by suggesting glitter because she wanted to go home. They over priced the cost and said she was doing me a favor by taking off 15 dollars. Dont waste your time.....skip pass this place.

I have been here three times since moving to Jacksonville. I really like the service and the rock music they play 24/7. They have done a very good job all three times I have been. It’s a bit pricy but it’s well worth it!❤️

The guy that did my pedi (Tang) I believe was his name. He was a great conversationalist, But my pedi is horrible. My nails are cut at angles, bottoms of my feet are still rough and polish doesnt even cover my nails fully. Wasnt worth the 25.00. I removed the excess polish off of my skin before taking these pictures.

I live in Willmington now and I still come here for my pedicure! The staff is very sweet, personable and thorough. They take pride in their work and it results in an awesome, relaxing experience! I love this place!

Im special needs and have disabilities-Lilly (I hope I spelled her name right) and another young gentleman understood, took care of me and my nails, and were so sweet. I truly enjoyed the experience and will come back, no doubt!Thank you again for everything. I will be back to get my fill-in for my new nails soon! 💗

I had a pedicure and manicure here. Pedicure was about a week ago and my nails were done 3 days ago. Overall the experience wasn’t bad for the price. But I know there are similar priced salons around here that seem to have better outcomes. They scraped my toe during the pedicure, and my nails were done 3 days ago and look like they need a fill.. I had some crooked and some different sized shape going on..

First time at Magic nails....loved it...The lady Lilly did an amazing good. She did my pedicure and full set. I would recommend her to anyone. Im so happy

I did not get her name, I think someone called her Tina but I’m not sure. I got a pedicure here a few days ago and it was so cute and today I got my nails done to match and “Tina” (if that’s her name) did a wonderful job on my fill, they feel great on my hands and look good. I will be coming back here. They only tip in cash though so be prepared! I wasn’t and felt bad so I definitely wanted to do this review for them.

Overall i liked this place. Very clean and friendly they took new file and buffer out of a box marked clean on it. Other salons ive been to reuse tools which isn’t hygienic. The only reason im giving 4 stars and not 5 is because i had my appointment scheduled for 1 pm and i waited 20 minutes to be seen they just seemed understaffed for a Saturday when its usually busy. Other than that my nails came out beautiful.

They over charge.... I went to get a pedi and had gel polish on my toes they wanted to charge me extra to take off the polish. That is just crazy, if I am getting a pedi why charge extra to remove polish? The man that works here is not customer friendly at all I will never visit this salon again. If you are looking for fair prices and good customer service you will not come here either.

The girls are friendly and the wait time is never long but those are the only positives I will say for this salon! 2 times now I have gone in and said exactly what I want done and they have done something different. The girl had my whole hand soaking in the acetone for over 30 mins (instead of just wrapping my fingers in foil) and my hands are a mess now! She did a French manicure and was in such a hurry she wiped most of the clear gel off so my nails aren’t even smooth now! Then the worst part when I was done the girl that did my nails wouldn’t check me out and now I know why. She told me what I had done would be $35 and when I went to pay the girl charged me $50! I was livid! She knew exactly what she did & couldn’t look me in the eye. I didn’t get what I wanted, my nails feel rough and my hands are dry and cracking! I’ve tried this place about 6 times over the past year...it’s just not worth it to be able to walk right in. I normally don’t write reviews but I don’t want this to happen to anyone else!

Lynn did an amazing job with my fill in!! She took her time and paid attention to details. I was a loyal customer to NC nails, but after they kept messing my nails up I knew it was time to look for another place and I think I found a good one so far (:

Polish is messy, thick nails, odd shaped. When u ask for a certain person they say they arent there but they are in the back n go in rotation so u get who you get. Ive been 4 times and no better, stay away! Very nice folks however service isnt the greatest

Its very reasonal pricing and amazing quality. Ive never left unsatisfied and I always recommend to all my friends and co workers.

Ive been going for about 3 months now and every time they have amazing service. Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get my nails done and the staff is very courteous. Price is competitive with the market. Just remember to bring cash for a tip because they do not allow you to add the tip to the credit card. I had to leave and come back to tip my first time.

Was able to take us last minute on a Sunday. Good quality work and good customer service. I would come back again.

No like!! I feel like im obligated to award them that 🌟!! The older skinny guy had an attitude, did my nails sloppy, extremely thin, n when I asked for a certain color, he told me if u dont see it in here or u didnt bring it dont ask for it IN A NASTY WAY N LOUD!!. It was my very first time in there so I didnt really knew. I chosed to ask n he barked louder than a dog. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I went yesterday for facial waxing, they burnt me all over. I didnt realize it until I got home, but have splotches and blisters from their wax being far too hot!

I havent been back to this place since March when the girl kept going on and on about how huge my feet are (I wear a 10). She very loudly foot shamed me and embarrassed me pretty bad. I wont go back - regardless of how great of a job they do on my feet.

My husband and i went in for mani-pedis earlier. They were friendly and we were seen right away, but the guy doing my feet wasnt very focused as he should have been. During the massaging part, he kept looking away and staying on the same spot which caused a lot of friction and some pain. My nails were also partilly done and my cuticles barely got done. He also didnt pay nearly enough attention to the callus on my left side.My husband came in with me because he needed a lot of care taken with his hands and feet. He works with his hands on machinery all day and is on his feet all day.His hands were also have done, and even though we paid for the deluxe which included massaging his hands and feet, he barely got any massage.We will need to look for someone else to take care of my husbands hands and feet

They had the new mood colors I got a full set and they were patient and very friendly. I would definitely go back.
