The absolute slowest service I’ve ever experienced. My pedi took an hour plus. And it wasn’t the spa treatment that took long, it was the basic pedi! My nail tech dropped her callus remover on the floor and didn’t wash it off until I said something about it. She also put new towels in the towel warmer with the gloves she used on me. I will NEVER come here again!

Lisa and Kelly were really nice and professional. They took their time doing my toe nails, my sisters and my 3 year old daughter. They cleaned everything before use and after. Super friendly with my daughter talking to her and making sure she was happy. Would be going back.

This is my new regular spot...Nice decor, attention to detail, pristine cleanliness, and good quality manicures. I always get compliments on my nails. The owners are friendly, personable, and charming. I have gotten mani/pedis at countless nail shops over the years and can attest that the contrast is striking!If you like an individual experience, they will know your name after the first time you go there and always act happy to see you.Highly recommended.

I was previously a loyal customer at another nail shop which like Voldemort (they shall not be named) 😂, let me just say the service and quality wasn’t matching the coins I was spending. My gel would chip in 3 days and I was over it, not to mention I don’t like for businesses to treat me like they’re doing me a favor when I’M the one spending money. Anywho I came to Today nail and Spa and I had my nails and toes done by Kelly. When I say she is everything my nails never knew they needed I mean that. I mean it’s to the point where I feel bad when I don’t have enough to tip her 😫 My nails don’t come off, chip, they still look fresh a month in. Not to mention the price is right. I love it here, I actually have a 10 am appointment with her today. When I say I’ll be in the parking lot by 9:55 I mean it. The point is I’ve been a customer at this shop for 6 months now as well as a client of Kelly’s and even if you’re paying for my nails I’m not going NOWHERE else.... Tuh 😒 Oh I forgot the shop is clean, lots of colors and I get treated like I’m spending money 😏

Just got my nails done here and I was very disappointed. I got an acrylic overlay on my natural nails. The nails are so incredibly uneven.. the guy didn’t even clean underneath my finger nails. I’m so mad I paid for this and I won’t be going back.

I had by far the best experience, the location is slightly difficult to locate if youre not familiar with Hyattsville. But from the moment I called them it was excellent service. I walked in and it was clean, warm and inviting. They were not pushy and very nice and patient. Also, they took the time to talk to me and I feel like Ive known them for years. Kelly was my nail tech, she did an amazing job. I will definitely return and the view is great to people watch.

Hello I must admit when I started coming here late last year I adored this place, Linda is amazing her sister Amy is also amazing, Im not sure of whats going on but my sister and I keep being told that Linda is on vacation and we have since used other techs my sister tried Lisa and the other young lady that sits across from Linda not sure of her name, my sisters appointment was at 10:15 with Lisa she came in at 10:45 no apology for being late or anything and she did a half a$$ job on my sisters feet, with Linda she cares about her clients shes always prompt and gives you superb service such as her sister Amy, I sure wish Linda would hurry and come back, if not shes going to lose my sister and I as clients the morale has definitely been down since shes no longer there. We miss you Linda

Every nail job Ive had here has more than met my expectations. The polish was evenly applied and fully covered the nail. I have not had any issues with chipping and I can usually go 3+ weeks before I have to change the polish. What I like most is that the staff work as a team and help each other out to make the experience very pleasant for each patron.

Walked in with no appointments and was able to be sat right down, my nail guy was named Henry and on top of doing a great job he was super friendly and accommodating. I was in town visiting family and decided to frequent one of my old haunts. I used to love getting my nails done here and hoped that nothing had changed. When I walked in the owner recognized me even though Ive been gone for 4 years and sat me with Linda . She was friendly, patient and took her time. I certainly recommend this place.

This is officially our go to spot for manicure and pedicures! My mom and I come here for the deluxe pedicures that are out of this world. They have the best brown sugar scrub that feels heavenly when they massage your calves with it. I also get the gel manicure, and Linda always paints the polish on so nicely and really takes her time cutting all my cuticles! This is by far, my favorite salon in Hyattsville with reasonable prices and exceptional customer service!

Got my first full set (ever) which was done by Lisa. She did an amazing job. She took her time and made sure every nail was perfect throughout the entire process, and was so sweet. Pricing was very reasonable, especially for the exceptional service. I will definitely be returning again and again, and asking for Lisa!

Ive gone 3 times now and they give the BEST 2 minute shoulder massage while you are getting your nails done. Nails look amazing too! It is a little more expensive compared to other salons.

Linda did my nails and did an amazing job! She was also extremely quick. I feel like she finished Im about 20-25 minutes. Not sure who did my feet but she was also quick. Not in a rushed way but she moves very efficiently. Ill come back next time Im in Hyattsville!

Have to say, Teri is the best, she is always happy and makes you feel comfortable. Even though my friend and I arrived late, they still serviced us, they closed at 8pm and we didnt finish until 9:45pm. I recommend Today Nails and Spa to anyone because they are very economical and take good care of you. I for sure will keep coming. I also apologize to the spa because they waited for us to be done until that timethereafter, you have gained loyal customers.

I used to live around the corner and would come to this salon, often. Since I have moved, I travel up to an hour sometimes to receive services from their salon because I usually know what to expect. However, since I have been making an effort to come to this salon the last couple of weeks, their services and staff have been mediocre. Whats more upsetting is that I wanted a single small design on my nail, and first, the woman working on me says they are too busy. Then I respond, its one nail, simple design. Then she says okay. Then she turns around and starts talking to the other technician, clearly about me because she says, design. Then when she finishes painting the base layer, she gets up and starts talking to the nail technicians in the front complaining. Then one (not the woman servicing me) comes back and says they cant do the design. So, which is it?? Instead of showing me designs you can do, you just walk away. How are you going to be selective about who you give service too!!!!!?? I literally traveled an hour to get there only to be told that I couldnt get what I want (a flower on my nail). Tired of walking out of this salon disappointed. I really need to find an alternative salon more in my area. This place is a joke.

Great service with a great price!

My two friends and I went here yesterday for pedicures. Only two of us were getting service. The man that asked what service we were getting was prompt in helping us, but tried to rush us through selecting a color. He knew we were together and ran water in chairs that were far away from each other, even though no one else was getting a pedicure at the time. We told him we wanted to be next to each other so he moved her to the chair next to me. The service from my technician was great. She was fast, gentle and efficient. They dry toes with a little plug in fan and the spray. My service technician did a really good job but I couldnt leave her a tip because they dont allow you to tip on a card. My friend that was also getting a pedicure saw a roach. She said her technician saw it too and didnt say anything. Nevertheless, my toes are now bright and my feet are now soft.

They did a wonderful job on my nails! I havent been able to find a place around here that I like but I definitely will be returning to here.

I called this nail salon hours before I came to ask them if they had the supplies needed for my nails(clear tips, ombré powder, and gold flakes). They assured me they did. I get there... wait a hour... and when I sit down the tech tells me they have ZERO of the three things I asked about before I got there 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄. I used to love this nail salon and now I hate it. Don’t go especially if you’re young and want to do fun things with your nails.

Had a subpar experience here before but the other nail place I went to had a 45 minute wait so I decided to try this place again, which was a mistake. The guy that did my nails was very rough, cut me multiple times, and couldn’t even tell the difference between my nails and the acrylics. When he was trying to remove the acrylics from my nails, he kept pulling my actual nails with them. He also didn’t even remove them properly, used a fake nail that was in the drawer to slice the acrylics off my nails and kept digging into cuts that were on my nails and was extremely painful. On top of that he did not do my nails the way I asked. I wanted stiletto (pointed) nails and he made them a rounded/almond shape and did a sloppy job. I showed him a picture and repeatedly asked him if he could make the nails sharper and he did not listen. Very disappointed.

The staff is very nice. They will treat you very well. I love how they take their time.

I stopped in for an overlay. Not only was my nail tech quick, when he took of the tips that I had on my nails there was no nail damage and no soaking! My nails came out wonderfully! It was a bit pricey but I was pleased with the results. I will definitely go back!

Horrible service walked in at 9 am, one lady said a tech will be there in 30 minutes..Left sitting for well over a hour. No Nail Technicians on a Saturday morning utterly ridiculous. Horrible service, will not be back..

I came in for a soak off and reapply gell an fix 2 nails. The young lady did not listen qnd cutoff my nails instead of a cut down on nails. On my thumb nail she cut deep into the skin. She picked off the gel nail untill I insisted she soak off the remainder. The last straw for me is she used a nail tip to get between the nail and gel overlay, and when finished she put the used nail tip back in the case rather than discard it.Never again will I EVER go here.

As long as Linda works here Ill never go anywhere else! She slays! And what a sweetheart. Love this place.

I went there for my birthday for the first time and asked for a Gel manicure and paraffin spa pedicure.The tech did a horrible job not to mention my polish was two different colors.I realized when I got home that I was really unsatisfied and just remembered the fact that I paid $75 for the service and my feet still hurting with my polish looking like a two year old painted it. I decided to call the business spoke with a gentlemen and he told me to come in and they would fix it. I walk in speak to a lady and she looked at me as if I was lying started questioning me immediately started speaking her language to her coworkers and they were all staring at me. She finally repainted my toe nails and it still wasnt as great but I decided to just leave and never give them my business again.DISRESPECTFUL

My whole experience was terrible. Customer service was one of the worst i’ve ever experience. The employees act like they don’t want to work. I got up to get something from my car and they were acting like i’m about to ditch and run. I waited for about 4 hours to get my toes done. Worst place I’ve ever been. Wouldn’t recommend it to nobody else

Theyre located in a small shopping center that has a grocery store, CVS and couple of fast food restaurant. Inside, they have two TVs for entertainment.Only downfall is they dont serve refreshments (wine, juice etc.) like some salons. If you need a quick quality manicure or pedicure I recommend coming here. For eyebrows, ask for Amy

It was almost two hours before someone started a pedicure. Too expensive and a waste my time. I never got my manicure done. I would love to give zero stars.

This was my go-to nail salon until the main guy left. Im not sure if he retired or what but he always made my nails look great and they lasted forever. When he left, they had to move one of the pedicurists to hands. She was nice but slow and cut me a few times. Ive had acrylic nails for over 10 years and it wasnt until the last few months when I started cracking and breaking nails with no effort. Im not sure if it was the new tech or if they downgraded their formula. I moved so wasnt able to follow up but my nails havent cracked since.

I went here 3 times, first two times the ladies did my nail they did an OK job. My 3rd and last time and man tech started doing my pedicure and he was doing a sloppy job not with the pedicure itself but with the polish, I then proceeded to my do my nails a full set with gel polish. He’s acrylic was terrible thick, uneven and lumpy and his polish even worse omg my nails were looking so terrible I refused to pay and told the nice man on the desk! He was very generous offered to fix them. The same guy who had messed them up asked to please allow him to fix it for me I said ok after he insisted... and what a terrible mistake he cut my pinky with the electrical file and all my cuticles were in pain by then. Finally Lisa one of the lady techs fixed everything for me but it still was not the same I could still see the trace of the other guys lack of experience. My pedi is looking bad too. I think I will not come here again because I was still charged the full price after waiting and going thru all I did. It’s too bad because it’s location is very convinient for me and the other lady techs seem to do a nice job, but I hate the lack of professionalism and they should not hire inexperienced techs or trust them 100% with their customers.

Don’t not come here!!!! Worse place ever they make you wait in the chair knowing that the wait is longer than they tell you. There’s only 2 people working and like 20 chairs. Very cheap looking salon.

So far so good...in the chair now, just got a full gel set on my real nails, quiet, quick and great job. Waiting for pedi now-side note: saw a huge earwig crawling across the handwash area, under the mirror and pointed it out, the nail tech saw it, smiled at me and kept doing my nails. I saw it fall in the sink and another worker washed her hands and finally saw it, rinsed it down the drain with concern about a customer seeing it and I felt a little better. Otherwise, seems clean, organized, and pleasant. Seeing sanitations of the pedi chair after a customer as I type this. For a first visit, I dont feel the need to run. Offered exfoliation treatment for my dry skin and given great insight and solution to the problem-will get the whole treatment for 40 bucks. They have been here 15 years, glad to see thar they dont take their customers for granted.
