Not following instructions on billing, sent invoice to my customer even theyre not listed as shipper or consignee. Will stay away from this carrier for anything going to Jacksonville.

Stay away driversvery very slow
I called Southeastern freight to ship a car engine to Missouri. Driver show up on time but refused to back his truck down my drive thats 30 feet wide and paved. Driver was rude said he wasnt backing the truck down my drive way and left. So i call to speak with dispatch and he said he would have his safety officer come look at it and i never got a call back from them. So as you can see by the picture i called some one else and they had no issues just like the other 100 semis that have backed down this same driveway their driver apparently didnt have the skill to do. My recommendation is to no use this company. If they couldnt accommodate me they should have called and said so but instead they decided to leave me hanging and not tell me anything. Horrible company to deal with very unprofessional.
If I could give them less than 1 star i would. First I got a call about a week ago to schedule delivery for an item that we picked the seller based on them not saying that delivery would require a signature like the other sellers did. Our schedule makes deliveries hard since there is no one home typically during normal delivery hours. Fine, it is what it is I cant help that. I called to schedule the delivery and was told that they couldnt find it, Despite having just got a call an hour before to schedule the delivery. I was told that I would get a call back the next day to schedule the delivery once they found the item. Next day comes and i still havent gotten a call so I called a little bit after 5 and there was no answer. I got a call the following Monday to schedule the delivery again. Called in a end no problems that time finding it. I told them when there would be someone at home to be able to sign and we got everything set up for delivery the next day between 515 and 6. I got a call at 4, over an hour before the scheduled delivery time and was told that he finished early and couldnt make our SCHEDULED time. There was 0 working around or trying to accommodate what their company scheduled. It was what it was and I was suddenly out of luck, oh well. The delivery person who was suppose to deliver it (his name is Mike, ID number 57402) was rude and just an unpleasant person who didnt care what was scheduled. I tried to call his manager who was of course out of the office all week, and ended up speaking to an assistant manager by the name of Dan. He didnt care. I tried to say that it was unprofessional to schedule something and than not keep the scheduled time. He told me I was wrong. He said that it was not unprofessional it was just business. He didnt try anything to get the delivery to me on that day since that was when it promised. I called to corporate office and they were polite and honestly seemed like they were trying to help. Still no package tonight though. Even though they scheduled it and said we would have it tonight, no. No trying to work with it. No courtesy. The people I talked to at our in city location were just rude and uncaring.
Called to set up a delivery time and had it set for the next day, a Friday, between 1PM and 4PM. I dont know if I was in the restroom or what when they came but I never heard a doorbell. at 6PM I called and they said that the driver marked it as unable to deliver. He said that he called my phone number and got a busy tone. This is impossible because I dont have a landline and it is a Google Voice number. It would have been sent to voicemail and I would have received an email saying that I had a missed call. No big deal, just an employee blatantly lying. I set up another appointment for the next Monday, because they dont work weekends or any other convenient time and they said they would instruct the driver to call an hour before arriving. Monday at 4PM still no call or shipment. I call back and they say that the item was never loaded that day despite having been scheduled for delivery. What kind of business has scheduled deliveries and doesnt track that they actually leave their warehouse? No apology was given just a frank statement of fact that this is what happened. Trying again for Wednesday. Being in the Navy, it is not exactly easy to get time off just to wait for a delivery for three hours three times in a week. Lets hope that this time I actually get the item delivered.

Awful company. Delivered damaged file cabinet, without keys in damaged box, not it time, refused to collaborate. I lost time and money. Never use it. And if you buy something in store, my recommendation is to reject delivery with that company. Do not consider positive reviews, it seems that they paid for that reviews.
Cargo shipment
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. We send freight every week and have never had a problem with our other company. We moved offices and our old company could not pick up from our new location so we resorted to using Southeastern Freight come to find out that they screw up our whole billing and then were holding our pallet without even telling us. It took our customer calling asking three days later where their stuff was to find out that they never delivered it and that they forgot to call to tell us. If you need your products there within a certain time period call someone else.
Ship their stuff from Puerto Rico got in early good shape good job

Friendly and helpful freightline
SEFL is my trucker of choice, I arrange about 5 pick ups a day, and had very few problems ( hey nobody is perfect). The people who say things likethey wont work with you on appointments etc. Have zero idea of how LTL trucking operates. they run routes. you can always hire a delivery service to pick it up at the terminal
This company will not work with you on appointment delivery times. They set the most inconvenient times that they are willing to be there and you are expected to take 3 or 4 hours off of work and sit at home and wait for them. They are extremely rude and nasty on the phone. You have been warned.
