Me and my family took the plunge and moved out of state to Lakecrest. We’ve been here a month so far and we absolutely love it, the amenities are great for everyone. The trail has been our favorite, we walk it every day. The office staff is very friendly and polite, especially Marcus who we’ve had the pleasure of helping us through our whole process. Maintenance is fast if needed and neighbors are kind to one another. No complaints here!

After moving here in October, the office staff has been nothing but professional and always gives good communication. No “hidden fees” which I love, GREAT amenities, and work orders are taken care of PROMPTLY! By far the best apartments I have lived at. I tell anyone who will listen to look into moving here.

Visit a friend that lives here sometimes. entrance off street will tear your car up and is a down right hazard, either you take it slow and risk getting hit or sacrifice your car to get in quick, company worrys more about landscaping and repainting speed bumps then about that. Common areas in bldg like stairs and hall are filthy, youd think theyd see to it those areas are taken care of sometimes. Not suprising to see garbage on ground around dumpsters. Location is nice but be ware.

When I stayed a Lakecrest Apt with my sister and also as a renter I loved the hospitality of the staff, the brand new gym, fishing around the pond, and walking the 1/2 mile nature trail

As an active employee and a resident at Lakecrest apartments I get to see both sides of the fence. Coming from a different company and property where I also was an employee and a resident for 4 years making me familiar with how things work. That being said from my experience so far I am very impressed with the company from both the employee and the residential stand point. Office staff are more then welcoming making you feel like family from the Initial hand shake to handing you the keys. The maintenance staff which I am one of has really impressed me with the quality of care and for me when I see that my supervisor and the assistant supervisor knowing almost every resident by name and even there pets and children names, well that is a powerful statement that im where I belong since I naturally tend to care about people. Lakecrest is place where friend, family, quality and care are what matters. Im glad to be apart of the community and even more happy to be apart of the company.

This apartment is one of the best in Greenville. My family stayed here and would have continued to stay here if we didnt buy a house.

Lakecrest apartments has been one of the nicest and most peaceful places, that I have ever lived in. The office staff(Jessica, Randa and B) are an absolute pleasure to work with. They are always available for whatever questions or concerns, we have, and they have made our stay here absolutely amazing. The maintenance guys Adam and Rob have been so great, any maintenance concerns are always handled quickly and are taken care of effectively. I recommend Lakecrest for all!!

Great community, really nice staff and they updated the windows, balcony sliding door as well and the balcony flooring.... lots of parking mostly friendly neighbors.

Their policy is crazy today I walked more than 13 apartment from Muldin to this location which one it was my last stop. They will ask you if you make 3 times your check you are eligible to rent a apartment for $1200! If I make 3 times of this amount I will go rent Luxury apartment not there

Id give fewer than one star if possible. A few days after the South Carolina Supreme Court placed a moratorium on evictions during 2020, we received an email threatening immediate eviction if unable to pay. They tried to come off as understanding and said there were five extra days to pay rent that first month.And then after not allowing flexibility during the pandemic, they falsely claim I still owe money over 8 months after moving out. Not one single attempt at contacting my phone, email, or by standard mail. They claim that all sorts of things were broken and trash left everywhere. Their collection agency asked if I had proof I didnt break things. So its guilty until you prove yourself innocent?

Ive always been treated respectfully and courteously by the office staff, as well as the maintenance crew. They have responded quickly to all of my maintenance issues, and completed the tasks in a thorough manner.What I love most is the setting. We have a lake with ducks, fish and turtles. The area is kept clean and very well maintained. I have been here for almost 3 years now and feel part of a community. They have many special events that include the children, as well as the adults.I highly recommend a visit to Lakecrest, to see if it will be your next home.

I moved here March of last year. Its been a generally pleasant experience. I love the location and watching the lake as I drive in helps me decompress from work. The walls between the townhouses are amazing. I never hear my neighbors grandchildren (And he tells me they are loud!). He assures me that hes never heard us, despite the fact that we watch movies with surround sound frequently. In general, the area is fairly quiet. Both my brother and I work third shift and neither of us have a problem sleeping. Emergency maintenance requests have been done within 2 hours and general maintenance within 72 hours. The only reason I deducted a star was because the insulation with the doors and the windows isnt all that great.In general, we greatly enjoy living here. We just signed a new lease and I dont foresee moving out unless personal circumstances change.

I really like living here. Ive had no problems with anything. If i need something fixed, it gets fixed quickly. Location is awesome! Staff is very friendly. My favorite thing is the lake. I love animals. There are ducks, geese, turtles, heron and some big fish. Really cool! If you feed the ducks they will remember you the next time they see you.

Lakecrest would’ve been a fantastic move for me. However, shoes was stolen out of my apartment and I am very unhappy about it. When I brought the issue to my property manager, she showed no remorse and was rude! I will not be renewing my lease here.

Bea is a new staff member in the office and has been such an delight. Randa as usual is always willing to help and knows her stuff. I have been here for 2 years and cant imagine leaving. I will always recommend Lakecrest!

I love our community. This community is beautiful, quiet and very serene. The entire Lakecrest staff is very nice sweet and helpful. They always address everything in a timely fashion. If you are looking for a place to call home Lakecrest is the best place. It is close to everything, such as the mall, downtown, Shopping ect… Also all surrounding areas are supper convent to get to.

Its an older property, but well-maintained. I have neighbors on either side of me and I cant hear a thing. The townhouses are well-insulated. If you want a good dry roof over your head, decent storage space and a quiet affordable safe place to live I recommend this property. If you would like to pay for expensive modern living, go somewhere else.

We moved here 5 months ago. I had one week to find an apartment coming from Connecticut. Went to see a lot in the area and for pretty much the same price Lakecrest were the best. It is a calm and quiet area. I love the pool and lake areas. The Elementary school near by is great. They allow pets which was a must for us. Whenever we have a maintenance request it gets done in a timely matter including one emergency. The ladies at the office are super friendly and always ready to help.

I moved here almost two years ago. Overall it has been a pleasant experience. The ladies in the office are great! Maintenance handles the requests in a timely manner... The area is pretty quiet.

I have been a resident since September of this year and it has honestly been wonderful. I have enjoyed the hospitality of the office staff as well as my neighbors. The staff has gone out of there way to ensure that any issues that come up are resolved in a timely manner. I will say that like every place I have ever lived that not everything is perfect, but that is to be expected when you live in an apartment with hundreds of residents.

I have lived at Lakecrest for 5 months now and its been a good experience. Staff girls and the maintenance guys are very friendly and answer our requests promptly. It is well located, close to everything which makes it so convenient. However, I think the gym could offer a better service. If it is there, why not provide a good service?

Been here since September, and so far it’s been decent. The staff is chill, and maintenance shows up pretty fast when there’s an issue. The community is quiet, and I never hear my neighbors. I would recommend someone to move here.

Lakecrest is exactly what we need. We live in a townhouse with lots of room. We appreciate the fun activities management puts on for the residents and love the pool!

I really love this property. Maintenance goes above and beyond for their residents. They do quarterly filter changes and check the smoke detectors. The office staff is always quick to respond and care about the residents. There is a resident event every month and they keep everyone up to date on events in the upstate area. Brand new gym, indoor basketball court, and clubhouse. The pool was updated last year and we are getting a grill for the pool area. New windows and sliding glass doors were installed this year which are energy efficient. They put a lot of money back into the community and are always looking for things to improve. I love the schools and the Eastside Greenville area. Definitely a place you can call home.

Lakecrest is a good place to call home till we buy a house. My husband and I really like it here. The ladies in the office are nice as well. Just wanted to say that living here has been an amazing experience! Ive loved the staff, the grounds, the pool, the lake, the entire time here. Any time Ive had a maintenance request, the team comes out here and fixes the problem quickly. I had my AC go out, and one of the techs I think his name was Anthony came out and fixed it in no time at all and told me that if I had any more requests to let the office know so he can come out and service them. I am happy to live here and hope to renew for another year!

I have lived at Lakecrest for almost three years now, and love my apartment. Its updated and spacious for a good price. The office staff is always genuine and kind, and maintenance has always responded quickly to any concerns. I definitely recommend it. I would like to note that I live in one of the newer units that was recently built, and our building is always well taken care of.The only drawback is the neighborhood (and why Ive given it 4 stars). There have been times where Ive felt uneasy, and Ive had a package stolen and my car broken into. However, the instances were far a part, and I dont feel unsafe when actually in my apartment. I think as long as you stay alert and aware of your surroundings and take normal security precautions (locking your door) you will feel (and be) safe. I have utilized the running trail around the lake quite a few times, and feel quite secure doing so. However, I would suggest writing C/O Leasing Office on any packages to ensure their safety!

If you’re moving here PLEASE TAKE PICTURES BEFORE MoVING IN!!!!!! I got charged for so many things I didn’t do, was only there for ONE year, the apartment was not renovated at all, but was in a rush for something ! Got charged for leaving wholes in the ceiling, when I had NEVER ever put anything up in the ceiling or mess with it.. there’s multiple things i got charged for that I had no part of it, was already moved out and didn’t have the time to question them about it plus I didn’t have proof (pictures) that it was not me . they took my deposit and also $300+ That I owed them.The apartments location is probably what’s best here is nice and quiet; oh and the Lady at the office name Randa is the nicest, But the apartments that not newly renovated are not worth the price 1b1b almost $800!? For things to be breaking so easily from faucets to closet doors .Go somewhere else to find something better.

Ive lived at Lakecrest since August 2016, and had great experiences throughout that time. With all apartments (or homes, for that matter), youll have issues. Ive had a couple of maintenance issues that needed to be handled, but after submitting a work order, through either the office staff or through the RentCafe app, the issues were always addressed in a timely manner.Lakecrest has been a great move for myself and my two girls. They have great friends in the neighborhood, and weve definitely experienced a level of community that I did not have at previous apartments I have lived in. Its been an amazing experience.

I love living here! Just wish the rent was a little cheaper! The staff is wonderful! Have had no problems!

Have not had a bad experience in a year and a half! Speaking on behalf of the townhomes here, most are updated and beautiful. It’s a great area, close to everything you could need, and the tennis court/playground/fishing dock is where we find ourselves on the weekend. Maintenance is always handled in a timely manner and the ladies in the office, man are they simply the best. Love lakecrest!

They make you put down a reservation fee of $150 that you will not get back if your application was denied... They are total rip offs and my application got denied same day for me not having a stable source of income in that state. So be careful.

Ive lived at Lakecrest for just shy of three years, and if I werent moving to another city Id be planning to stay a lot longer. The staff is friendly, and the units are generally quiet. Rent is reasonable, and I pay less than most of the people in my office here in Greenville in spite of feeling like Im living better. Some of the utilities are a bit old, but maintenance has always been prompt in fixing issues when theyve popped up over the years in heating, cooling, plumbing, or kitchen appliances. Ill miss walking around the lake in the summer and I hope I can find someplace as nice in my new city.

DO NOT under any circumstances move into this apartment complex!! The office staff seems nice at first but you soon find out that they are not there to make your experience enjoyable. They dont file work orders in a timely fashion (I would recommend watching them putting any and all of your work orders into the computer). Your bill will fluctuate and they wont give you a reason to as why. The white guy that works at the desk is cocky and arrogant. The Cuban girl will brush you off at the first chance. The place is a joke at best. Not to mention they have let trash after trash after trash move in, which is the main reason my family and myself moved. It may look nice on the outside but the inside it garbage. If you still decide to move in I suggest you go through the apartment with a fine tooth comb, but than again they will more than likely show you the best one and then give you trash. If I could give less than 1 star I would. RUN AWAY!!!! Look at the apartment complex right across from Bi-Lo on the corner.

I have lived here 6 months and I have enjoyed it was this far staff is very professional and courteous. I put a work order in this morning because ac wasnt working and they had it fixed by 1:30. Very impressed by how quickly it was addressed thank you very much!!!

These people are crooks! As a corporate customer, they not only arbitrarily take the entirety of our security deposit, they charged an asinine amount of money for simple cleaning tasks. Would not recommend these people to anyone, CROOKS!!

Whatever you do just don’t do it, don’t even walk through an apartment, they’ll sugarcoat everything and you move in and your air breaks, your bathroom tub faucet runs for 3 months before they fix it while you fight them for a credit because of your 375 dollar electric bill, your oven won’t work, your bathroom will have mold, if you have asthma you’ll use your inhaler everyday because they’re moldy and old apartments, your refrigerator will leak, under your bathroom sink will leak. Your neighbors will tell you they’re moving out because their building has foundation issues that is causing their bedroom to flood every time it rains and they have to come clean the water out. You’ll end up leaving, and they’ll stick an eviction to you as quick as they can. Don’t do it.

Heres a suggestion: the $300 yall offer for referrals, put it towards updates. ie. the pool, bridge/steps around the pond, gym equipmentAnd this summer.. do better about enforcing underage children not being at the pool without an adult. the same kids were ALWAYS there last summer being rough and showing no respect for anyone else there. plenty of times they almost hit my toddler or jumped/swam into us.for the area we live in, the price is reasonable and theres not a terrible increase in price with a renewal.updating would just suit everyone and make living here so much more enjoyable.

I have lived here for nearly two years, and this is a place I would NEVER recommend to anyone! I have had the bathroom worked on 3 times, and it still isnt working correctly. My air conditioning also doesnt work correctly, after they fixed it. The pool didnt open until the middle of July without a warning or email stating they were working on it! The rent is too high for the little amenities they promise! The gym has two working machines, we bought the pool balls for the old pool table, and the dog park is full of feces! I could go on but I wont!

Great office staff, maintenance is on point every time, neighbors are awesome, and I can enjoy fishing in the catch and release pond. The view is wonderful and I couldn’t have found a better place for the price and comfort.

I have lived in Lake crest for about 2 years now and it has sucked!!!! There is trash in the parking lot, the lights in the hallway go out for hours every couple of days and the apartments are in buildings so its pitched black to where its unsafe at night. My car has been broken into. I have had bugs, my air has went out twice after being replaced previously. I have had over 15 service calls. Management in the office say they will make sure issues are fixed and they never do. I hate it out here and will never recommend anyone to ever move out here! They have bugs, rats and trash!!!! Dont even consider them!!!!!! They do not care about you once you sign that contract!!!!!

While it’s very affordable, you get what you pay for.For the first 4 months of living at this complex, I had no heat or A/C. It took 5 months for them to realize that my unit (or the building unit was broken) and another 2 weeks for them to fix it.I had to break my lease due to a job transfer, I signed a 60 day notice with no penalty. They charged me a penalty for breaking the lease without a 60 day notice as well as inflated costs for cleaning. In a 700 sq ft apartment, I was charged over $800 worth of cleaning.These folks are scammers.

I lived in M 186 and never had any issues. Granted the long drive around the lake and every speed bump from here to Nantucket was in my way from the entrance to my apartment, I never had an issue with the place or staff itself.

A word of advice. DO NOT MOVE HERE!The management is nice before you move in. Once they get you to sign that lease, they are so unprofessional and downright nasty to you. I am dissappointed and disgusted by the way I was treated while living here.1. I was verbally attacked and yelled at by two of the staff in the leasing office!2. It took 6 months for vital repairs to be done in my apartment!3. They dont change the air filter. I almost had to go to the hospital because I could not breathe. And when they finally changed it after much begging, they replaced it with an air filter that was way too small! I had unfiltered dusty air flowing through my apartment. This triggered asthma that I hadnt had problems with in years. When I looked in my air conditioner, it had dust built up for years!4 Not to mention that your water bill will be at least $50.00/ a month! (and thats just for one person)5. The washing machines leave your clothes soaking wet6. Most of the washers and dryers dont work. (They eat your money and never even start)

Do not get evicted here because they will smear your credit within 1 or 2 days.It is difficult to rent anywhere in town with a lakecrest red flag!!! To your response, you must be new mangement,contact your supervisors. They know what happened and to other tenants watch out!!!

Been here for 2yrs and have seen way too much. Ghetto neighbors continuously tried to break into my apt and were selling drugs. Informed management but nothing was done. Breezeway is always dirty so not wanting to invite anyone over. Had to call numerous times on neighbors who insist on partying and fighting during 1-4am. And the turnover here is outrageous. In 2 yrs Ive had 11 new neighbors. Nobody stays long. Ive had my fill of this place and have given my notice. Its just hard to believe that a management company would allow a place that has true potential to be run so poorly. So glad my lease is almost up. I joined a book club and one of the ladies told me that she stopped by the leasing office here and it was a mess. She asked if there was a one bedroom available and was told that there would be because the guy walking out would probably not qualify due to his credit. She walked immediately out w/out seeing an apartment because she couldnt believe what she heard. Who discloses someones private info that way and how did they know my friend didnt know the guy. And the girl Lena seems to get nastier and nastier. I guess this company is taking who ever applies for the job. Now there is someone going through the air vents in the I building peeping on women. The office has been informed by 3 different people and still nothing is being done. It has to be someone who works here to know the apartment layout. March cant get here fast enough.

3 shootings in less than 3 weeks. This place is a stain on an otherwise great area. Wish the cops would close this place.

This is a horrible apartment complex overseen by an even worse property manager. I have lived here 3 months and am already considering breaking the lease. We have had our vehicles broken into, had our apartment entered by maintenance men for absolutely no reason, and have been charged outrageous fees for something we were supposedly notified of (they claim they had left a note on our door, I was home all day they supposedly left it and no note was there). Do not move here unless you want you personal property ruined, your sanity and peace of mind gone, and to be spoken to by Jessica the property manager like you are an ignorant child. This woman needs to be fired over how rude and condescending she is to the people that supply her income. I don’t feel safe here and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The staff is ok at best but the apartments are just outdated and crappy. The air doesn’t get cold and the kitchen has pests and that’s after pest control that I pay for in my rent..plus the gym is a wreck and the floor in the racquetball room is coming up. We’ve had so many issues with our apartment And it’s taken maintanence forever to get out to us. There’s trash everywhere and it’s so ghetto! Do not move here so not worth the ass load of money they charge you. Everything is old and outdated and best they can do is redo a tennis court.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. I have a broken dishwasher that is flooding my kitchen floor - called on Friday, it is Monday and STILL NO ONE HAS CAME TO FIX THIS. The neighbors above us are constantly stomping and running (i recored it on my phone) so loud that you cannot hear the TV nor sleep - multiple calls to the front desk have done NOTHING. Further more, we were promised a screen door the day we moved in, its been 3 months with no screen door. The toilet doesnt flush well, low water pressure in the shower. The lake is nice to walk dogs, but we have seen 2 dirty condoms in the parking lot, people throw chicken bones in the parking lot, and someone vomited on the front steps the first week we moved it and it never got cleaned up. Not the best place. We are leaving as soon as possible!

I hate there were going to have to break our lease to move but I cannot continue to stay here, my move in date was delayed several times I moved in the middle of winter and my heat was not working and took over a week to fix. When they did fix it they damaged the room the heater was in so Im sure Ill have to pay for that. Maintance responds when they are ready, the wood in our living room is so CHEAP so thats something else Im sure they will charge for. The breezeways are disgusting (dead bugs, dirt, debris,) our patio door is trash, the screen, door handle and sliding door are broke. We have troubling neighbors always running in and out of our building, they have no consideration for others what so ever. I moved back because I thought they had change but I guess I was wrong.

Nice sized apt but the owners are Terrible. There was a fire there a month ago and some people lost everything. Instead of trying to work with them, they told some tenants goodluck and sent them on their way. Sad

Worst Apartments Ever!!!!! My husband had lived at these apartments and has had the worst experience ever. Just to sum it up everything in our apartment broke from the ceiling in my sons room collapsing to the water main which flooded our apartment. Then when it was time to move out they charged us for the damages their employees did. We got railroaded and now our credit is messed up because of the false allegations they had made. THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!

Update: just dont move here. Building O is the worst and there is a water stain forming in my babys room ceiling. The building was found to have black mold by my neighbors and all they probably did was fix the roofing. The equivalent of slapping a band aid. The vents and air circulation is very poor. My child is living in heat becausr the a/c cant even function properly. The dryer and washer are inefficient and the dryer takes hours to dry one load of laundry. Rent is expensive for a unit that is terrible.My friends packages always seem to go missing in the office. Maybe the staff doesnt even bother to keep track of the parcels in an efficient manner. Numerous times my friend has told me that her parcels had shown to be delivered and when she goes to collect it from the office her shipment is no where to be found for weeks and the staff are ofte rude about it. I regret asking my friend to move to lakecrest. The only redeeming factor is the wildlife and sceneryDont move to this place.I have lived here since January and the prices are ok, but everything seems to be inspected at the most minimal level as possible instead of being extremely sure nothing is wrong with the building before moving in people. some of the pipes are old, leaky, and the water pressure alternates. The ceiling had a bad leak and instead of seeing how much damage there was and if there was mold, maintenance just sprayed white paint over it to cover the stains. The new floor is stained with the spray stuff and Im sure theyll charge us for that along with a wall that has cracks around a vent because one of the men came in to replace an air filter. Maybe even for the ceiling that eventually collapses from the mold. I have a new baby and birds as pets, by the way, and Ive stressed this so many times. Its a nice place, the lake is lovely as part of scenery, and the recreation amenities are great, but there is little they do to take care of their units. Theyre spending all the money to make the outside pretty and attract prospective tenants instead of first spending it on taking care of the ones they have now with improved units.There are certain units that are newer than others so be aware of that and ask when the building was built and what theyve done to keep up with it. And the remodeling in our unit was just putting in a cheap, fake wood floor thats easily damaged by the pressure of your furniture sitting on it and being moved around.

I wouldnt refer anyone to live in this community, unfreaking believable mg-mt is disgusting, apartments are shitty, never ever move down in this apartment complex. things are broken disgusting living in here.i want to move out within a month.and dont follow the comments that says Google user these are the mg-mt created comments.
