Got an acrylic set they didnt last even 2 weeks for 52 bucks would not go there again or recommend the lady tried to tell me it was normal for lifting yeah not less than two weeks after you get them done...

Love the variety of gel polish, they carry harder to find less offered magnetic cateye (pic #1) and tempature change magnetic cateye gel polish(pic#2). I especially like the employee Edwin; Hes gentle with my arthritic/ nerve damaged hands and does most of the shaping by hand.

Me and the wife went to get foot pedicures. I have never went before. Very cool experience. Super friendly staff. Very clean facility. Its very relaxing. Your feet feel like a million bucks when done. Highly recommended.

A friend and I got full sets with dip powder and I’ve never had my nails look worse. They are uneven and there’s orange around the edges from my old polish & my friends nail already came off when we got them done three days ago. Will not be going back. Worst $60 I’ve ever spent

When visiting Fulton I did a walk in to get waxing done last min. The lady I had was amazing. She was kind and kept asking if wax was ok temp. I would highly recommend this place and will go back if visit Fulton again.

I have had good experiences here. I always ask for Lily who does a great job with a Gel Polish and challenging pedicure. Today she was not available, but I was very pleased with a pedicure from Vivian. The only reason why I gave it at 4 instead of a five is that sometimes the programs they have on the television are not all that pleasant, but they have changed the station when I requested it. This is not a very large or fancy salon, but the prices are reasonable and the service is good.

Color selection could be better. They only have limited colors, I wanted a certain one and they didn’t have it. They stick to the older gel brands and don’t really have anything new! No ombré choices maybe 2, not very many gel colors same as 5 years ago. My nails lifted slowly after a week and my nails normally last over a month before needing a fill

Nail were sharp and some polish bubbled. One nail broke after just a few days. Polish a mess. Needed a dark red gel..nope...nice people just wont go back

This is my wifes favorite place, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. She says theres a Great selection of gel nail polishes, and on trend options like colored acrylics and bases and gel forms. Really clean foot baths, and waxing area and they clearly tell you how much what costs when you ask for it, and before you do it. If you have magnet cateye gel polish on top of an acrylic set that is almond shaped, it would be $45. 25 for the base set, 5 more for the extended time to shape the almond shaped nails uniformly and 15 for the magnet cateye gel nail polish. Much lower than the other place in town.If there has to be a complaint, they are always busy; so I dont recommend going when you have to be in and out quickly because theres usually a wait.

Went in for pedicure. Told to return in 45 minutes. Asked if I left would I lost my place in line. Girl said no. Returned in half an hour. 4 people signed in after I returned and were seated in pedicure stations before me. When I questioned this I was told they would get to me on about half an hour and I should have made an appointment. Asked 2 of the other customers if they had appoinents. They said no- walk ins. I will not be going back.

I have been coming to star nails for years. Ive never had any issues. friendly and clean small but theyre proficient.

Terible they wont fix my shspe and color. My color was supposed to be black but it was dark navy blue. A guy agreed to fix it if i didnt like it and the next day I went to get it fixed and they tried to convience me that it was black. Im never going back there it was 50$ for my set and the lady cracked my nail and brushed it off like it was nothing. I hate this place I DO NOT RECOMMEND.UGHHH

If I could leave a negative star review I would. They charged me $37 for a fill and for the most disgusting nail job. I get my nails done alot and this is hands down the poorest job--tried to charge me more. NEVER again. Go to diamond nails instead!

I have never had a problem here until now, I made an appointment which they did stuck to unlike most places and the staff were very friendly. I had called ahead earlier that day to make sure they could do ombré French tips which they confirmed they could. I asked for coffin nails and one hand is completely different than the other, one is pointy and one is coffin like they are supposed to be. When she proceeded to paint them they were not turning out how they were supposed to and look nothing like what I asked for. They are blotchy and my nails have lots of bubbles in them. This was not worth the $50 I paid and I am sad to be writing this type of review.

I like the place it was nice i love the place and i like the place they are so nice i felt like we were family. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE it was cheap they took me quick and i loved it my nails looked so good. I went to other stores and there were bad but in fluton ny i couldnt find a better place but this one.

I have had my nails done at Star all summer. Always done right. Most times without appointments. Very convenient location with parking.

I went in with my now ex girlfriend to get both of our nails done. Acrylic. The lady who did them was very stuck up and she ended up tearing my cuticle. As she was placing the tips I noticed a few werent quite straight and told her multiple times and she ignored me completely. At the end my ex ended up taking hers off when we got home because they looked horrible and werent straight and I clipped mine as far down as possible then ended up soaking them off the day after. Theyd werent straight, the polish job sucked, the tips didnt even fit my nail properly, I had exposed nail on either side, and it was an all around crappy experience that was not worth the money I paid. Havent gone back since and dont plan on ever going back.

I use to go there from December up until begining of April every 2-2-1/2 weeks to get a gel UV fill there were times I had to go in the next day becuase the techniqnition did not let my nails dry long enough, one time I had the sparkle silver for my ring finger before the nail person started he should have let me know he was low but instead he let my nails be half finished and look horrible!!!! If I were you I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE I will never return the prices are not worth it either 🙄 I just found a new place in brewerton #natural nails for life
