Great place to live, hit me with a $800 damages charge after I moved out. Very unprofessional, its not like I dont know how it looked when I left. Hate to give it 2 stars, but theres just no justifying that.
Lived here for grad school for two years in the 2 bed 1 bath unit and I loved it! The staff is so nice, helpful, and friendly. Its super close to campus and theres a pool to relax or study by. The grill area is also very nice, they allow pets, and theres all inclusive utilities! I would recommend this place to any one.
My boyfriend and I have lived here for almost a year now and it’s super great. Everyone is really sweet and everyone in the office is always excited to see our dog Olivia. I love that there is a little fence area so that we can let Olivia off her leash. I don’t think u can really get a better deal any closer to ECU.
I’ve lived here now for several months, and I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. The staff was helpful throughout the entire moving-in process, and the apartment was in good shape when we first got in. Maintenance is quick to fix issues when they’re reported and the staff will answer any questions you have (they also throw all sorts of events for the staff). Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice two-bedroom apartment in Greenville for a reasonable rate.
I really enjoy living here at University Park! I have been living here for almost 3 years and have never had any issues with maintenance, security, or my unit. The pool is super nice and kept clean all year. The staff is super helpful tool, and they have awesome giveaways and events!! If you are looking for an apartment that’s close to campus, moderately priced & has great amenities, come check out UPark!
I absolutely love University Park! The staff here is so nice and always handle anything I ask for help with! Everything is handled professionally and in a timely manner! The apartment is the perfect size for my dog and I, and the rent is perfect for everything That is included! Lucy loves the dog park and the connection to the greenway is perfect for walks!
This place is a great place to live. Mostly because of the staff they are all friendly and any issues I have ever had are usually dealt with working 24-48 hours. The maintenance staff works hard and are quick to respond to maintenance tickets. Best place I could have ever decided to live during my 3 years here at ECU.
I have loved living at University Park for the past year! It is super pet friendly and I love how close it is to everything! The pool is extremely nice to have in the summer and the grill/fire pit area has been nice to use in the winter as well!
Really amazing staff and have had the easiest move in and adjustment period. They constantly have fun incentives and things going on around the property that just add to the overall experience of living here. You can really tell the staff cares about helping you in your (first potential) apartment for most college students. Looking forward to our future here!!!
I love living at UP! The office staff is always so sweet, the grounds are maintained and I love my apartment 🥰 would definitely recommend!
Absolutely love living here! Everyone is so friendly and the staff really goes out of their way to make sure that they really get to know you! Ive already renewed my lease for next year and Im so happy I chose to stay here! Also, they are super pet friendly! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone going to school in the area!!
I have lived at U park for 2 years now and I love it. The staff are all very nice and make sure that everything is right for you no matter what. It’s also VERY pet friendly which is fun!
The staff here are beyond helpful and host many engaging events to supplement what is happening in the school year! Everyone is very friendly and the maintenance team always responds quick to requests. The units are super cute, the roommate matching service has been great, and I have loved living here!
I love this place. The community is amazing and the staff is hands down the best staff ever! University Park cares so much about its residents and I wouldn’t live anywhere else. Best apartments in Greenville hands down!
Words cannot even describe how exhausting it has been being at this apartment complex. I don’t recommend it even if you’re in a desperate place of needing affordable living. I don’t recommend signing here under any circumstance.
I love living at university park, great sized rooms, wouldn’t rather be any other place.
Best apartment complex in Greenville, always gets everyone involved, me and my roommate have already won like $400 worth of gift cards from events. Also super spacious 2BR apt
Great location to campus! Cheap considering location! Beautiful outside area! Apartments are nice too!
I haven’t lived here long but absolutely love it so far!! The stuff is the best!!
I have lived here for a couple years now and I can say with confidence that UPark has the best and most friendly staff! All maintenance is done fast and well, the units have been renovated and are homey and clean, and the grounds are well kept for all the furry friends! I have enjoyed living here and encourage my friends to as well. Additionally, UPark has been encouraging residents to participate in events and fun food giveaways! I have made friends here even in the midst of covid because of the well distanced activities that UPark staff host.
I loved living here with my family. Friendly staff and they were always willing to help. Maintenance showed up within hours of making a request. Short walk to campus and close to almost everything in Greenville. I would recommend this to anyone especially college students looking for a good deal.
University park is the place to be!! The staff is so open and welcoming and the walk to campus is just around the corner.
If you are looking for somewhere to live for school, LIVE HERE! They have been nothing but nice and amazing staff. The apartments are clean, appliances are amazing, and I have so much space. Living right on the Greenway is also another plus.If you are between another apartment and here, go here!
This complex was great. I lived here for 2 years while in college and the place was wonderful. The staff is so helpful especially Jordan Vansiclen. 10/10 would recommend to people. The proximity to campus is just one of the many perks that you get from living here. If your looking an apartment in Grenville, NC start here you won’t regret it.
I’ve only lived here a short time, but the experience has been great! If I have a problem management is very kind and very helpful!!
I love living here! The office staff have been amazing. They really care about their residents and are always planning appreciation events. I have a dog and the dog park is one of her favorite places to go and I really like the proximity to ECU’s campus. I also like how efficient they are when something is wrong like a light is out or sink won’t drain, maintenance gets here super fast! It is really a great place to live!
University park is a great place to live. I love that I could make my space my own easily, the hard wood like floor is so great and easy to clean throughout the entire apartment and the carpets in the bedrooms are super nice. The kitchen (and bathroom) has beautiful real granite counter tops and dark wood cabinets and the walls are actually painted which I love because everywhere else I’ve lived at was completely white and completely depressing. All of my appliances are super new and really well taken care of.On move in day I was shocked by how nicely clean everything was. I have never moved into a clean place like this. The staff is incredibly amazing. They work with you on anything you need almost immediately. I love all the events they do, like s’mores at the fire pit, pool parties and grilling, many other food parties and parties for the pups at the dog park! (I love having a dog park where I live)
University park has been nothing but great to my roomate and I. I love how staff know names of not only residents but the names of pets as well. I’ve felt at home here also it helps that it’s only a few minutes walk to campus also The green way runs through the back of the property so it’s perfect for walking dogs. I recommend university park 10/10 to everyone I come across.
I have lived at UPark for a little over a year and have nothing to complain about. The apartments are very nice and the staff is great. I love the dog park and the location. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, friendly place to live.
I think that the staff is very friendly and extremely quick to help with my questions. Every time I have had an issue with anything around the apartment they have been on top of resolving it in a timely manner. Hands down nicest place I have ever lived!
Me and my girlfriend started looking for apartments in March that would rent to use and do a double occupancy without doing double leases and we received a email from Austin. We ended up deciding to move in to University Park. We moved in on May 1st. We had some issues with the roommates we had and after talking to the office, we ended up transferring to a new apartment with new roommates. The staff at University Park always seem to want to solve any issues that arise. They have all kinds events for residents. The staff are super friendly, always welcoming me when I come into the office with our puppy and always pet her when we come in and give treats. Plus it’s 5 minutes from ECU. We love University Park!
I cannot say enough good things about university park!! Theyre staff is so friendly and devoted to helping the residents, maintenance is fairly quick, and the apartments themselves are very clean and cozy! I loved my time staying here and definetely recommend it to any students looking to stay close to ECU.
University Park has been nothing but wonderful to me since the day I moved in. The staff are incredibly fun and friendly and make an effort to get to know each of the tenants. They are always more than willing to help in any way they can to make sure that I am taken care of. The handyman is very nice and knowledgeable, and I feel better knowing that there is a whole team of people at the office dedicated to serving the University Park community. The units are very nice and very well maintained, and being able to walk to ECU is a major plus. There are always cool events and contests going on and I cant stress enough how helpful and accommodating the staff are here. I feel safe here and I rarely hear any commotion from the other tenants. 5/5 stars and I hope to live here for as long as Im in Greenville.
I have a great experience with one of the leasing office workers Lauren every time. She is very kind and helpful and is always eager to make sure you have a good experience at UP.
Very nice apartment for a very reasonable price. The office staff are fanominal and would bend over backwards for you. My wife and I were only looking for some place close to the college for my first year but decided quickly and without hesitation that we could live here until I graduated. Everything about University Park makes you feel at home. Would recommend with out hesitation.
Going under new management was the best thing to happen to this apartment complex. All the front office staff are so friendly and helpful. Micah and Cam are great! So convenient to campus and do-able walking distance. Great deal for the price and amenities.
I love living here. The staff is friendly and great to work with especially Lauren who helped me sign up and told me about the place.
Austin and James in the office have been so helpful and so nice to talk to!! I just moved here in August and me and my cat, Tito, LOVE IT HERE. They host so many resident events and truly make it feel like home!
University Park is a great place to live! I’ve had such a great experience so far! The staff is so friendly, and they genuinely care about the residents. It’s in a great location with being a short walk to campus and the Greenway running along the back of the property. I’m very new to Greenville, and I feel very at home here!
The location is stellar (easily walking distance to class) if you work or go to school at East Carolina University. I lived there during my undergrad studies at ECU, and I liked that it was safe. The Greenway trail and Elm Street park are the backyard of this complex, with many trees and grass surrounding. Recently UP was entirely renovated, so the apartments are brand new, and you can pay online which I liked too. I moved after graduation, as my situation has changed, but I would recommend this location to anyone, especially those at ECU. GO PIRATES!!Oh, youll like the staff too ;)--Edit FYI -- This complex was converted to student housing shortly after I left in 2015. Something to consider, especially if you dont know what that is.Cheers,Todd
I have lived here for two years and everyone in the office and on the maintenance team are really great. Easy walk to campus and tons of events and FREE food
Would never recommend was very unprofessional and rude. Choose any other location like boundary proxmity eastern on 10th anywhere would be same price better location . Pretending to not know me just because you wanna look right ? This company has the worse staff I have seen out there .
Nicely maintained buildings. Was there for work.
Living at university park is great its an easy walk to campus, the staff is always so helpful and kind and are always having great events to give out free items and food! the bedrooms are spacious and ive never had any problems with utilities or anything like that
Incredible place to live. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff will make you feel at home. 5 min walk to campus, can’t beat it
Ive been living at Upark for almost a year now and I believe it is such a lovely environment and the office staff is so nice and helpful. They definitely remember faces. The transition from non-student living to student living was very smooth and the remodeled apartments are more spacious and modern.
Clean apartments good when repairs needed free pest control nice pool kept clean its sanitized with salt they have cookouts for renters music partys nice place to live for collage or young person rent goes up yearly they are slow to fix things lots or roaches and if you change your mind about staying another year even tho lease hasnt taken effect they wont let you out of it not a good place to stay
I lived here about a year ago and had to move out because my roommate ditched me and I couldnt afford it. I am very impressed with what I have seen as far as renovations go! I hope the price doesnt go up any more than it already has as Id like to move back there this summer ^_^
Friend lives here. Place is nice but the contract will screw a student/tendent over in so many ways. Inefficient washers that lead to high electric bills.. That uses up the power assistance allowance each month.
I appreciate the events they host. The pool parties are fun and the front office staff pretty chill . They know my name
I wish i could give it a negative 5 star. The management is absolutely terrible!! They are super unorganized, inconsiderate of their tenants, and just really do not care about their customers. ALL the rooms have had mold in them at one point because of poor insulation and the manager did nothing about it!! The fridge leaked and got the whole apart floor wet and damaged some furniture and they did nothing to fix it.
Do not live here. I lived her last year while attending ECU and its way too much money for what is provided. The walls are super thin so you can hear all your neighbors and the buildings are oriented around the pool where the parties take place. The parties they throw are very loud, half the time arent announced, and go late on school nights (for people who are actually studying). I went over on the electricity cap every month even though I only washed clothes once a week, went home almost every weekend with leaving the AC/heat off, and kept the AC 76 and heat around 65 (not comfortable levels). No one in the office knows what they are talking about and if you have an issue with your electricity bill you have to contact Greenville electric because the apartment doesnt control it. Walking to campus is great, but the bus doesnt stop there to pick up at all so even if its raining or dark out youre stuck walking. The tow truck goes through the parking lot often and tows people, visitor passes have to be continually gotten from the front office so your guests dont get towed which is really annoying. There are no parking lot security cameras and I did not feel especially safe at night because the complex is so small and my building wasnt facing where the lights are.
This is a really nice apartment complex located walking or biking distance from campus. Personally I think the rent is too high.
Initially I was very excited to move into University Park, but unfortunately that didnt last. Though the staff is nothing but friendly, they continually mismanaged my account which lead to potentially compromising my credit and security clearance. Every time I would attempt to check and double check my account standing with the front office (after I learned that they were careless at best and incompetent at worst), they regularly gave me incorrect information which lead to more confusion and frustration. I attempted to contact higher management to straighten out the offices errors, but no one would give me a phone number to call and my emails went unanswered for entirely too long given the nature of the issues. The location was good, the maintenance staff was delightful, but the clerical errors were enough to make you want to throw something. I rarely write negative reviews of anything, but I am particularly disappointed and annoyed with University Park and CREI as a whole. I will be even happier when my account with them is finally settled and I can just be done with it.
Its hard to find where you are going in this apartment complex. The majority of the people are nice though.
My review is ONLY about the apartment complex so I would appreciate if you didnt bring up roommate conflicts. This will be the last review of UPark that I do.I lived at UPark from August 2015-January 2016. I moved in at a time when they were renovating apartments so I had to move multiple times and was only compensated by them offering movers to carry furniture. Im going to list a few events that took place during my time there. Other incidents happened but Im only going to list ones that I can physically prove.-during the move from the temporary apartment back to the newly renovated apartment, I was told I had until 9 a.m. on a Tuesday to be moved out of the temporary apartment. I went there at 7 a.m. on that Tuesday to get dishes that I left in the sink and when I went into the apartment, construction workers were already in there and had put my dishes in the dirty toilet. I had to literally shake off toilet water from my dishes.-We had an incident where someone kept rattling peoples doorknobs and one night, someone was screaming at my back window so I called 911 and told the office manager the next day and he said that if it happened again, I should contact him instead so he can check it out. Apparently thats safer than calling police.-I was not given a mailbox key so I had to go into the office every time I wanted to check my mail and borrow the key. They also put vacant slips in my mailbox so I had to pay to have packages sent back to me that were returned to the sender.- I was told by the office manager that I could sublease my bedroom and then told that I couldnt because he had read the lease wrong.-While it is not the apartments fault that peoples cars were being keyed and doors were being banged on at the middle of the night, myself and other residents asked about flood lights and video cameras being set up but as far as I know, that has not currently happened.Again, more incidents took place but I cannot provide evidence of those so I will not discuss them. The only positive aspect I can offer about these apartments is that Annah and Micah in the front office are always very nice and helpful. I did enjoy the new renovations as well.
Worse experience ever and I don’t even live here!!! I have friends here and their staff is beyond rude and intimidating!!!
Shady people. I witnessed a construction worker run into a tenants car. I left a note on the windshield letting them know I saw what happened and to contact me if they needed anything. Later that afternoon I got a call and the tenant said management called them and told them it was a hit and run, they didnt know who hit them. When I explained what happened, the tenant told me management said nothing about the construction crew. After a long debate, the tenant was offered money to not get law enforcement involved. Also, dont fall for the free food give aways. One day my girlfriend and I were standing in line at one of the free food days. The manager came up to us and said we could have free food that day, but from then on the food was not for tenants, but for new signees only.
UP was great til CREI took over. place use to be nice n quiet. lots of familys and older people lived here. now all college kids. partys all night every night. pointless trying to fall sleep b4 2am. manager lives on site and wont say n e thing bout noise and partys. if u have a 8am class, u will oversleep cause of noise.bruh really? it 2016 and we on da internet. nobody use they real name.i bet u aint got no mickey mouse in ur records but dats my name. u ask me to come in 2 yo office n talk to ur manger but he all ready know. he stay in da same building i do. there be partys above me that be takin up da hole 3rd floor. i no he hear them. 3 nights ago there was party on 1st floor below me til 3 in da mornin. i know he herd that one to. there be partys in da pool right below where he stay til 3 or 4 in da mornin. he dont say nuttin. so what good it do if i come talk to u?
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. This place was great until CREI took over and started doing renovations. They have 5 people in the office working, and no one has a clue what theyre doing. It use to be 1 person could run the whole place easily. Drug deals go on in the parking lot every night, and people stop to pee in the parking. My friend, who lives a few doors down, just found out someone was shot and killed in her unit and management did not mention anything about it.**Note to owner**Claims!?!? How dare you call these claims when you know full well these are far more than just claims! Typical U Park! You should do a little searching for yourself before you try and discredit someone! First, the person killed was Roy Kleber. Second, I came home after a night of celebrating my birthday (February 21) and there was a drug transaction going on in the parking lot. Four males continued to sit in their vehicle afterwards and smoke out their car. My boyfriend called the cops. As one of the officers approached the vehicle, the driver took off and hit the officer. Im sure a quick call to Greenville PD will confirm this claim! You may want to check the early hours of February 22 because we got home late that night/early morning. And, to top it off, I have spoken to your staff several times about these transactions going on, along with people peeing in your parking lot (which take place mainly after football games and nights of drinking) and your staff says theyll take care of it and nothing ever happens. And let us not forget about the situation that happened back in April when some poor, innocent girl was minding her own business, sitting on her couch, when a stray bullet hit her and she had to be taken to the hospital (you can search University Park Greenville NC shooting for the full story). Still care to call these claims? Time to man up U Park and stop pretending everyone who is leaving bad reviews is making up stories.
My living at University Apts has been very pleasant. The way the renovations were handled was at a mimimum inconveniece. The entire staff has been accomadating, professional, and always quick to respond. Its very pet freindly with lots of areas for them and great walking trails surround the Apts.
I have been living at University Park Apartments for only one month, but I have already fallen in love with this place. It is SO much cheaper than where I used to live in Greenville, has the basics, and the main office staff are friendly. When I went to the main office to put in a work order to fix my fan above the oven, the fan was fixed promptly within a few days. Although there are some slight imperfections in the carpeting, bathroom cabinets, and countertops, this place is a great bang for your buck. One other awesome feature of University Park Apartments is that there are no required leases, so you can choose to leave at any time (and I can leave after graduating in December). Unlike many other larger student apartments in Greenville, University Park is more for more serious-minded students. Finally, you cannot beat being only 10 minutes walking distance from campus and living right next to the Greenville Greenway.
The customer service is terrible. They care more about their buildings than their tenants.
Great location and friendly staff :)
No smoking clean roommate
Cleaning up
Very clean
