Mark and his team made moving into a new apartment an amazing experience. Mark responded to me quickly when I was inquiring about an apartment and was able to show it to me the next day. Maintenance was also quick to respond and always so helpful. The premises were kept very clean and well maintained, making it an overall great experience. Highly recommend.

I love living in my apartment on Main Street. It is by far a better place to live than the Cottages in terms of cost, location, and management. The rent is reasonable for the location, the location could not be any better, and the management has been attentive and pleasant. We had a few minor maintenance issues that were fixed, and the landlord Mark is always promptly accessible by phone, text, or email. This is great place to live for Main Street!

Overall a great place to live, especially as a senior. Lease was fair, and doesn’t require a sublease for the rest of the summer if you have to stay until graduation like most places around here do. Mark, the landlord, is a very nice guy who is always available by text. Take it from someone who locked herself out on a saturday afternoon, there is always someone from the company around to help and they are always professional and nice about it!

I love my apartment and its in a great location! They are reasonably priced considering how good the location is. The landlord is easy to get in contact with. I had some minor issues with appliances and windows but other than that I love living here!

So glad I decided to live in a Pendexter apartment. I’ve lived in both the Lodges and the Cottages which were miserable experiences with horrible management. Mark, the owner and landlord, has been so helpful from the beginning. I told him what kind of apartment I was looking for and he showed me several different options. The lease is very straightforward unlike those at the lodges and cottages. The tenant before me ended up destroying the carpets by trying to steam clean them herself, and Mark responded quickly to my concerns and replaced the carpet, communicating with me through the whole ordeal.I love my apartment and you can’t beat the Main Street location. And there’s parking, which is huge. The rent is very reasonable for Main Street, and hot water and heat are included which is great. I highly recommend living with Pendexter.

Great location! Very clean and well kept! Landlord is very profession and easy to work with. Easy going and makes accomadations if needed. Great over all living situation, would recommend!

Pendexter provided me with a great apartment to live Junior and Senior year of College. The process was very simple and easy. Mark Henderson is very easy to contact and talk to about any potential problems that come up and they get resolved very quickly. I highly reccomend Pendexter to anybody looking for a great place to live.

Pendexter Property Management is very professional and attentive, respond back to tenants needs within an hour. Madbury Rd location is perfect, right in downtown Durham. They care about their building/grounds as it is regularly cleaned/maintained. Wish I could live here longer!

It is demanded of you to pay the 800 dollar security deposit before seeing a lease. Only sample leases are available, your specific lease will not be presented until after they have your money. Very unprofessional and condescending when communicating with them.I was initially acceped as an applicant, and instantly turned down after asking to see a specific lease with locked in numbers.DO NOT rent property here.

Breach of Privacy, mine, with third parties. In addition, one would think these students at UNH are attending school in the city of Boston with rents which are charged by this company. Its shame that a member of the Durham business community feels it necessary to take advantage of the very individuals who keep them in business. Enough said, will be pleased when my kid graduates.

They were rude and have been incredibly difficult to get in touch with. Some properties were built within the last year but overpriced and unfinished. Others are older, overpriced and barely liveable. Do not recommend for any reason.

Management sucked overall-Unreliable with communicating and unpleasant to deal with.
