Going on a year here, and I like it. Mr.Wayne is the best maintenance supervisor ever, work orders get done in a timely fashion. Office staff are great. Apartment is spacious as hell. Dog friendly

Do not rent here!!! I have lived here since Feb 2016. Management cares NOTHING about cleanliness, safety or maintaining the apartments. My rent is paid early every month and I rarely put in maintenance requests but the ones I have put in have rarely been completed. I live on the 3rd floor. Our AC has gone out every year. In 2020, my kids and I, stuck in the apartment because of the Coronavirus, went the entire month of July with no AC!! I teach and am a single parent so moving is an expense I’ve been trying to avoid but I can’t continue to live here. On top of poorly maintained units, the residents allowed to move in now have resulted in gunshots being fired and even a 19 yr old kid being killed in the courtyard near the playground behind my building. The trash receptacle is often overflowing onto the sidewalk. It’s horrible here. Take your money and go elsewhere.

Ms. Thompson is a wonderful, beautiful amazing blessing to this community. She has been a great improvement over any of the people that have worked in the office here in the past. She really cares about the community and the residents. The entire atmosphere in the office and the neighborhood has become so very positive under her leadership. The team that she has built takes great care of us - both with the office and the maintenance. I am now proud to be a resident at Magnolia Pointe and would encourage anyone looking for an apartment to come and check us out.

Called and asked about rental details for a one bedroom. I was told they would have a one bedroom open at the beginning of May. Came in the next day and was told someone had just signed and was moving into the one bedroom unit, and that one bedroom almost never open up. Basically lied to get me to come out here. Took off of work to be told a lie.

I just moved in, I really love my place very spacious and its clean and quiet In the neighborhood and management and maintenance are excellent and listen to your concerns.

I lived here for 13 years!! Its a great place to live ... the office manager is awesome she goes above and beyond for her tenants. Debbie has been nothing but a blessing she has a beautiful spirit and a genuine heart ❤. Thanks again Debbie for all youve done for me and my family.

It takes them forever to fix things and then they want to charge for stuff they should pay for.

I called the emergency service line due to an electrical outage in the master bedroom. I was told on the phone that a technican would be on their way. No one ever showed. The next morning I went to the offfice to check on the status of my emergency service request. It turns out, the person that took my call didn’t think a power outage in my apartment was “urgent”, so it was put in as a normal service call. Long store short, I went three days without power in my master bedroom, and even after the repair”, the plug they replaced still can not be used without knocking the power out.

I have lived at Magnolia Pointe for a couple of years. I have seen staff come and go, I have gone through many neighbors as well. Overall my apartment was awesome I would like to say a special thank you to Ashley Wright she is often in position to catch the fire. She is always equipped with a smile and a lets fix it attitude. For that I am appreciative. Wayne the maintenance manager was awesome in helping my move to go smoothly as well. It was a long drawn out process but we made it through. 🙂

They dont hold up

I visited Magnolia Pointe yesterday. The office was closed when I arrived. As I toured the property, I found two gentlemen from the office, Khalil James and Sean, who exceeded my expectations when they so kindly brought myself and my mom back to the office. They went very much out of their way to provide me with information and show me the property. Even though it turned out to be well past their closing time, they were patient, cordial and caring...all in the most professional of ways. I wanted someone to know that they both represent your company name, admirably.

The tech was very friendly and polite, he was knowledgeable, The tech did outstanding work.

He did a great job!! He showed up the same day in record timing and took care of everything!!! So happy!!!

I moved into this place on August 2015, and its been great! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, quite and great great neighbors!The management team on site are fantastic and get work orders done in timely manner with great & friendly maintenance team members! I recently renewed my lease, and I did not regret any of it...This place is spacious & reasonably priced.

So, let me start by saying I have been a tenant for 5 yrs!! I came in when there was a lot going on! When I first moved in my car was broken into, someone was shooting in my parking lot and my neighbors stayed fighting. Needless to say I stayed. Why? Because I love these apartments. They price, the floor plan and the close proximity to the stores, everything. I just hated the bad group of ppl they brought in. Anyway, as the management change so did the property. When A young lady name Robin became property manager things got a lot better! I received new fixtures in my home, the office was remodeled and maintenance finally got some help. Now we have 2 new gentlemen that are working in the office and I must say they are awesome! As much as I bother them they always help me!! So if your interested in moving, this is a good place. It has its ups and downs like any other apartment complex, but for me it’s a win. So, sending a thanks to Sean and Robin for there great work ethic. Also to the young man at the front desk, who is just as awesome! Good job on rebuilding the complex it was well needed.

Not a realistic playground for little children. The playground has no swing set and its falling apart.Updated Review: They will close the pool for weeks at a time with no explanation, then come to find out the maintenance guy is not taking proper care of the water and the levels were critically low. Which means the levels werent taking properly taking care of for a minute. At this point the residents shouldnt be paying for an amenity when its barely being used. Its frustrating having great weather for the pool to be open and its closed and no email is sent out and its a waste of time walking down to pool when hoping it will be open and then its not especially on hot weather.

Ive been living here since October. I loved the place...the setup is nice and spacious. Moved in and the first night I could hear my neighbors upstairs. I kindly went upstairs to introduce myself and make then aware someone is living below them. Since then I have been up there 5 times and my husband 5 times himself. Weve made several complaints to the office...no resolve. Why would you put someone with AT LEAST 7 kids on the top floor! Not only is there noise but their trash on my balcony including the dead roaches they sweep from their kitchen onto the balcony. The windows are moldy in every room and continue to grow mold after cleaning. For almost 1250/month, I expected more. I had my car towed because my parking sticker wasnt visible enough...$235. Its ridiculous. Im tired of it. I just want to get out of my lease and cut ties with these people.

This has been a nightmare for me. My neighbor saw the maintenance man use a key and come into my apartment while I was not home! I complained to the office and was told that it was a mistake. A mistake! But after I complained, he told my neighbors that I was being evicted and he was going to lock me out. I pay my rent on time every month and have only been here for a few months already. This man is creepy and I do not trust leaving home now. I would not recommend this place at all!! I hope to get out of my lease

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I lived here for the past year and have spent the entire year dealing with gun shots at night, cars flying through the parking lot, and even someone hitting my car. I reported all this to management throughout the year and nothing was ever put in place to make it safer. There are no security cameras in the back part of the complex so nothing is ever seen when things do happen. Moved out a month early due to the rise in crime and how dangerous the situation was becoming.The new management says they have plans to make this place safer but I am sure that it will take some time for the proper measures to be put in place, that could make Magnolia Pointe a even remotely safe place to live.I strongly advise to anyone that is considering to do their research on the area, and to be aware that things seem to only be getting worse.

If you’re thinking about moving to Magnolia Pointe apartments DONT! It’s loud, nasty, and the apartments get moldy all the time. Mold will grow in the bathrooms, in the window seals, on the back door, and everywhere. If you clean it it will still come back. I wish I wouldn’t have never moved out there. The only good thing I have to say is that the property manager Robin is the sweetest person ever but it’s only so much she can do.

I went and applied I must say the new manager was wonderful. She gave a tour answered my questions and took her time. I hope I get approved for the apt.

I dont live there, just visited.Spacious living room and I love the half-wall kitchen to keep it feeling open. Staff was very polite and the facilities are kept in great condition. Big central pool next to a small playground. Grounds are nice as well--clean parking, grass and shrubs, very pleasant visit!

The number provided always goes to voicemail. I have a family and I want to ensure the area is safe for my family to live. I dont want to worry about kids whistling at my wife if she is walking the dog. I dont want to worry about bullies bothering my kids when they are walking into their apartment. Do you really tow cars for no reason? Do you really ignore tenants complaints on noise? Is this a high crime area? If it is, I will move onto another apartment complex to possibly live in. Once I get a proper answer, I will change the review. I conduct reviews on thousands of companies each year.

I like living here the apartment is spacious. I havent had any problems with repairs not being done in a timely manner. The office staff is very nice. Lots of kids in the neighborhood but I have never had an issue. At night its pretty quiet.

This is the first time I have ever had a problem with Magnolia pointe. Wow emergency maintenance I guess I will have to sleep again in the cold. I called yesterday that my heat was not working on the emergency line and today and yet me and my baby are still in the cold

Apartments are very spacious yet outdated, however, the folks that live over there is a mixed crowd. College students and folks who can use vouchers. So that could be anyone....

I really wanted to like this place. I have been calling for about a month in order to find a place there. They NEVER answer their phones, nor do they call you back. I finally was able to visit, and they had me waiting outside for an hour. To top it all off, their one bedrooms are running at $800/month and not $600 as stated on the site. This was upsetting. *sigh*

Horrible staff with unnecessary reasoning and lack of intelligence. Did you really think you could deny someone a statement of their bill/ billing information. Im sure someone will be smart enough to take you to cival court and have your job for fraudulent activities... Please beware renters and Google local guide friends.. Do Not Rent from this agency. Ive seen first hand how they conduct business and I assure you it wont be to your liking... And yes they take section 8.

I have close friends that live here and so far what Ive experience its a nice and clean place to live and the apts are a fantastic size.

No one ever answers the phone during business hours, its all automated voice services. The office doesnt have someone to answer the phone about other things, as in, an OTHER option

I attempted to get an apartment there 3 months ago, paid a $100 fee to hold the apartment & ended not getting the apartment.. 3 months late no refund, after calling for weeks I was forced to get corporate # & still no answer nor a reason behind why I havent received my money back!!!!!! Horrible place & terrible communication skills!!!!!!

I HATE THIS PLACE AND WONT BE RENEWING MY LEASE EVER AGAIN AFTER THIS YEAR. MY CAR HAS BEEN TOWED WHILE OTHER CARS WITH OUT PARKING PERMITS STILL SIT AROUND, THEY NEVER ANSWER PHONES, HARDLY GET WORK ORDERS DONE AND WHEN THEY DO THEY NEVER LEAVE PROOF OF BEING THERE. I WOULDNT GIVE THIS PLACE 5 STARS IF MY LAST LIFE DEPENDED ON IT. THE WORKERS ARE NEVER ON THE SAME OAGE WITH ANYTHING! JUST THE WORSSSSSSSSSST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED PERIOD!

Great living place verrrrrrrryyyyy beautiful

Im giving this place only 1 star just because there isnt a option to give it a 0. This isnt a family safe zone. The security never does their job. The children here are horrible. Just a year and a half ago the swat team was here because someone was held hostage in their apartment. They let anyone and everyone move in here.. People from braggtown come here and start trouble. I cant even walk my dogs without being harassed. The grounds at the apartment are extremely unkept. The people in the office never ever answer their phones even if you go down there to talk to someone theyre too busy and they wont even return a phone call. Also braggtown people come here to ride their dirt bikes and pop wheelies day & night. This place looks like paradise but its not.

I called this place every single day from 10 to 7 and no one can answer the phone. The only time Ive talked to someone on the phone was when they called me to see if I was coming back to finish the process to move in. Thats only because I walked in to fill out an app an to bring back a money order since then I cant get anyone on the phone Ive left numerous of voicemails. This is ridiculous. I have questions an from me going in to the office more than once the office is empty an people are at the desk not picking up the phone so this is a serious problem for me.

Affordable living for working singles and small families

A friend of mine, who is a resident, had his car towed for no reason. Then when he went to go ask the staff about it, they couldnt give him a reason why. Then tell him the towing company from Raleigh picks them up. So I drive him to the towing company they said towed it, get there and they say no, its the guys on cheek rd, be careful because they price gouge. $175 to get his car for no reason. I believe this place is in with the terrible towing co. on cheek rd. I tell everyone to avoid this place. Worried if i visit and park in the guest parking they will still tow me regardless. F**k this place!

Great place to live staff is great maintenance does a great job

This place is horrible, people are rude loud at all times of night. Kids are very disrespectful outside at night blocking the walk way, screaming and cursing. Walls are thin and they dont address complaints. Noone ever answer the office phone.
