Its ok could be better. Add consistency in regards to information provided to tenants. Stop charging for things you cannot provide a detail of what it is for. Send payments to owner on the day received so as not to charge tenants late fees. Be present at operational times and leave a note if you not. The place itself is not a bad place to live just needs some structure and if I were manager I would enforce a few things like if you, your child, and or guest is caught littering you will be fined 25.00 for each time it is not resolved. Let people know it is not acceptable to treat especially the visual property outside anyhow. There are not enough trash cans and have reduced in size based on changes in city requirements. No recycling is avaliable. Apartments need power wash and replacement of blinds in most of Apartments. Aside from all these things that need to be fixed this is family style community that is very involved it taking care of the children here. There is not one person that will allow your child to be harmed or miss the bus. Parents look out for each other kids. That part I love about being here.

I wish google could have the option to have no stars given!! It’s ridiculous the way this complex operates., I’ve seen bad but this is WORST at best!! It has went down throughout the years but it’s terrible now!

I have been a resident at Lakemoor Apartments in Durham NC 27713 since February 7th, 2012. I return to my home/apartment to receive a letter/notice in the door stating Notice to Vacate Premises-60 Days due to not completing the Annual Recertification. For some reason, this year I never received a phone call from the Leasing Office in regards to the Annual Re-Certification in which Lakemoor has always done each and every year since residing here. I am confused because all of the sudden this year 2020 in the middle of a Global Pandemic, I am being told by the Leasing Office to vacate my home/apartment by JANUARY 31ST, 2021 NOT because I am behind months on my rent like other tenants that reside here at Lakemoor that I know personally but because of Annual Re-Certification. My official lease is NOT up until February 7th 2021 so how is it that I am to VACATE my apartment/home by January 31st, 2021? If this was not enough, another letter was attached to Vacate Letter that titled “Move-Out Checklist”, so that I would have a guide before I vacate my home/apartment here at the holidays along with a Global Pandemic: Covid 19 SARS as if this was amusing but I can ensure you this would not be entertaining to any individual that has integrity in which I do have.

The management is horrible. The garbage by the dumpsters are always overflowing. Maintenance is a joke they don’t fix anything. My house was robbed and management didn’t kick out the people who robbed me. They kicked me out for defending my house.Worst place to live

The pool is awesome. We were guests there. Needs a supervisor on duty at all times no pool should not be unsupervised. Heard that the pool is closed on weekends because of no supervision, Ill supervise it for a small fee if needed. Other than that i enjoyed the pool cant wait to visit again.

Nice place from outsides. Office manager was somewhat rude. Receptionist was awesome answered all my questions.

It needs better management. You have to watch out for kids running in and out of he street on nice weather days. At times you smell smoking weed outside.

Not a safe environment. There’s always shooting going on, on a regular basis. Maintenance takes months to respond to your requests. Roaches. I’m moving when my lease ends.

They are liars!! I lived there for six and a half years until they lied and paid my rent every month since April 1, 2012 and now they forced me and my family out!!! Every month of what i owed changed. I could never get a straight answer not even with a lawyer!!! First youbsay i owe $800, then its 900, then $1200, then 1400, then 1600...then last i heard from my lawywer its $2800!! And now that im out ...after the final court hearing now its $460.00. Management changes all the...two of them since me living there have been fired because of them stealing and messing up everyones paperwork!! They never fix anything the correct way. I had a stove that wouldnt work and all they do is bandage it up, the following week same problem..stove blowing up, fridge leaking, black mold all over. They are a mess. I hope they can get it together instead lying and forcing famlies out in the winter!!!!

I had perfect rental history before moving to lakemoor apt they lie and say you havent payed you rent even when you have proof. They will put notice to vacate on your rental history record even though thats not true. They change management all the time thats when everything gets all messed up . they are crocks . i pray to God i never ever have to go back. They will take advantage of people on section 8 my advice is for you to stay far away from this place.

Lakemoor, Foxridge please beware! Look if youre renting STOP invest in your family get your credit in line. Take control of your finances and get the hell outta dodge. Lakemoor apartments could be and probably was a nice pkace to live. But now smh... It doesnt even deserve the. Star 🌟 I had to give.

When I called the property management office the woman answering the phone was completely rude and unprofessional. She seemed annoyed that I has any questions about the property and tried to deny the other reviews that are listed here. There was talking and maniacal laughter in the background while we were talking which made me think there are hoodrats running the office. I was completely disappointed with the customer service and would NEVER consider living here. FAIL!!!!

The staff at the time was very short, & lacked professional courtesy. I was taking someone who had just moved here to apply for an apartment.I havent referred anyone else.

Hoodrat habitat. Nothing but bad news living here, except the elderly that dont have much choice. I wish this place did not exist. This community gives all the surrounding taxpayers a hard time.
