This is literally the worst place I have ever lived! I dealt with cockroaches the day I moved in to the end of the lease, unresponsive maintenance, poor management, and endless nights of music blaring from a near by bar. Gas problems in the buildings and plumbing problems will take days for management to respond (if you’re not ignored). Homeless people wandering into the complex through out the day, doesn’t feel safe at all. Many of the laundry units are out of order for some time or work poorly.The building quality is barely decent and maintenance “fixes” give your apartment a tacky look. Beware of a units that have obvious patches near plumbing…mold! I am relieved to be gone! Save yourself and go somewhere a bit more expensive, it’s worth it.

Management has no clue how to run this place. Hardly ever get notifications about anything. I just found out that we have to go to pay our rent. Their Internet is all messed up! We have to go out of our way to pay the rent. Instead of taking checks or money orders. Who knows when they will have they Internet will be fixed. Really check doors floors that are peeling up. They won’t fixed anything.

I’ve lived here for a few months now and I have cockroaches coming out of my pipes in my bathroom almost every day now! BE AWARE OF THIS COMPLEX! Also, maintenance comes in your apartment without notice or without me requesting work to be done! I just filled a police report today with the Adam’s County Sheriffs office. I’ll be taking Estrella to court!

I just moved in! Let me tell you...these are beautiful homes..💕 and honestly back when I was little these apartments were horrible Im guessing they had a new change in management & everything! I am very very happy to be leaving here I love this place so much I love my building I love my residence I love my office men and office ladies! They work hard for me & my needs. I only lived at Estrella Apartment homes for one year, but my experience was terrible and would recommend everyone stay far away from this apartment complex.- The first day I moved in, my closet broke and I wasnt able to use it for like a week.- I didnt have internet for two months because they were storing refrigerators which prohibited access to the wiring Century Link uses to set up internet and refused to move them despite several in-person visits to the office and phone calls between the two parties.- I faced a myriad of issues with pests: specifically black biting flies and german cockroaches for the duration of my lease. They had to treat the entire building for roaches during my stay and the roaches still came back, which they did nothing about (probably not even after I moved out to be honest).- I also experienced a variety of maintenance issues such as a non-functional thermostat and water issues that took way too long to resolve- The laundry machines were never functional so I had to go to a laundromat.- The front office was frankly never very helpful and always rude just when I asked for help with these issuesAnd I am still dealing with this apartment complex two years after leaving. I was charged outrageous move out costs around cleaning and other costs that left me with owing them rather than them giving me my deposits back (which I have gotten back at every other apartment Ive lived in). I tried to appeal the charges but they were irresponsive after several months of reaching out, even when I dropped off my appeal in person to them. I finally tried to just pay them to avoid trouble down the road by having my bank send them a check, which they never cashed and got returned to me. Ive spent the last two years trying to pay them and they only every provided a response after I sent a dispute to Experian.Run far far away, as fast as you can.

Moved out of there about a month a go and best decision of my life, lots of violence going on around, nasty apartments, maintenance has no clue and the office management is incompetent as it gets.

I am living in a roach infested apartment. Moved in Feb 19th (it’s May 7th now) and have seen over 15 roaches, almost everyday. Just moved my body scrub in my bathroom to find two roaches and an egg sack, with hatching babies coming out. BEWARE!!!! I AM TAKING THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX TO COURT

Somewhat pricey for the location ( high traffic intersection with fire station nearby)and some of the cheap cabinetry and quick fix work.However managers were always welcoming and the couple issues I did have were promptly taken care of.

This apartment complex is a horrible place to live. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. If you do decide to live there do not let them in to your apartment to do a apartment inspection. I was gullible enough to think that it was a harmless act. I was wrong since I had empty cardboard boxes stacked up in the apartment I was threatened by legal action if they were not removed. Also they have no communication between the property manager and higher ups. The property manager had no idea why they were treating me this way only that they were. The property owners have ZERO respect for their tenants.

The elevator ALWAYS smells like piss and cigarette smoke. I don’t recommended living here. Too much crime just in the apartment complex.

My heat barely ever worked, and maintenance requests were ignored every time I called the office. Multiple pieces of damage not of my making will probably be blamed on me.

They care if your smoke detector goes off, but if it goes off when you’re not there they won’t even call you. glad it wasn’t a real fire and my puppy is okay. Thanks Estrella!

Parking issues continue unstickered cars not being towed but residents with expired registrations have no place to park. Motor Vehicle Offices being closed for pandemic makes it hard to get renewals done. And tow company is towing them despite letters from Dept of Revenue asking tow companies and police not to ticket or tow these vehicles. My car was rear ended and tow company dropped car in a fire lane because no open spots were available to park in. Before I could get my keys to move the car into a parking place on the street tow company hooked up and took my car in less than 3 min after it was dropped off and managed to get the rear bumper detached from the car by bottoming the bumper out on the pavement and left the bumper but took the car with personal financial information inside. Uncashed paychecks cash debit and credit cards my phone etc because car was hit hard all info spilled out into the passenger compartment and tow co.pany will not let us recover our articles without taking entire car out.

Good place. Maintenance crew was good. Requested the A/C be repaired but it was never looked at.

Everything was easy and they staff was very friendly but they didn’t tell us that we chose the wrong apartment so at the move-in date I was highly confused but they helped us get the right apartment within an hour.

Location was great and unit was fine but office staff was a NIGHTMARE to work with and the move out fees were outrageous. Only had carpet in the small bedroom but was charged $100 for carpet cleaning? Ridiculous.

ESTRELLA APARTMENTS SEEMS GOOD AT FIRST. MY GIRLFRIEND MOVED IN HERE HER NAME WAS NICHELLE BALL THESE PHOTOS ARE ADRESSED TO BUILDING 3 UNIT 202 OF ESTRELLA APARTMENTS SHE FOUND PAINTED OVER COCKROACHES IN HER KITCHEN CABINETS AFTER ALREADY LIVING HERE MONTHS. SHE HAD BEEN GETTING RAINED ON IN HER BATHROOM FOR 3 MONTHS AFTER SHE NOTIFIED THE LEASING STAFF THE DAY IT STARTED. SHE SUPPLIED THEM WITH PICTURES SHOWN BELOW, VIDEOS, DATES NAMES AND DOCUMENTATION. SHE MADE A LETTER OF DISCONTENT, SHE PUT IN A 60 DAYS NOTICE AND NOT ONCE DID ANY ONE CONTACT HER TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. THIS LEASE WAS NOT UPHELD. THIS UNIT WAS NOT HABITABLE NOT CLEANED NOR OK TO PUT ANY LIVING PERSON IN. WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU FOUND OUT YOU HAD BEEN MOVED INTO A UNIT WHERE EVERY SINGLE KITCHEN CABINET HAD ATLEAST ONE OR 2 PAINTED OVER COCKROACHES AND BEANS SHOVED INTO CREVICES. AND LEAKS IN THE BATHROOM THAT WENT UNFIXED. I USED TO PAINT APARTMENTS FOR YEARS AND COULD NEVER THINK OF LETTING SOMEONE LIVE WITH ANYTHING LIKE THIS. THE DAY SHE MOVED IN HER NEIGHBORS WERE THROWING THEIR MATTRESS OUT FROM BED BUGS. THE EASE OF THE CREDIT CHECK AND APPROVAL IS NICE BUT NOT FOR THE CONDITIONS YOU GET TO LIVE IN. SHE SHOULDNT HAVE PAID ALMOST 1000$ FOR A 425 SQ FT APARTMENT FILLED WITH EMBALMED COCKROACHES ALL OVER AND DIDNT EVEN KNOW IT CAUSE IT LOOKED LIKE NATURAL BUMPS THAT CAN OCCUR IN WOODS. BETTER CHECK YOUR UNITS OUT CAUSE THEIR PROBABLY IN YOUR KITCHEN TOO

Rough start but all my concerns were addressed in a timely manner. The manager is very attentive and does all within her power to listen, be receptive and make sure things are taken care of immediately. For the price its an okay place to live. Renovations are still in the works but I see them doing their best to get things done. Out of the last 2 places Ive lived I will say the customer service is superb they are doing the best with what they have and making it as comfortable as possible. Thank you for your quick and timely response and constant check up to see that I enjoy my stay.

The maintenance guys are on point. The pool is clean. The rental office workers need some training. Unreturned messages, misinformation. I was told we didnt need parking permits and my van got towed. I live the place.

Great value for the price considering how expensive rent has got around the Denver area. Convenient location being right next to Westminster and 10-15 minutes from downtown Denver. Helpful leasing office staff! I worked with Efrain numerous times who is friendly and knowledgeable.

Forget about the roaches and bed bugs, there are RATS here. I heard something in my toilet. I did not understand the noise, I lifted the toilet seat and saw a RAT in my toilet. Ready to call police.

I have lived at Estrella Apartments for 4 years. I am very pleased with my work orders always being taken care of right away. The maintenance guy Jesus stops by the same day I put in a work order. I have never had any issues with bugs, might be because my apartment is really clean. The office staff always listens to me and takes care of any issues I have or anything I may need.

The ugly lady in the office I think her name is Pauline or something that old grumpy frump looking lady hard to communicate telling her about my bed bug problem not doing anything called at least 12 times no answer

I moved into these apartments 3 months ago to be closer to my mom and to be closer to Boulder. I absolutely love my apartment. The apartment is very clean and spacious. I did notice the closet door would not stay on the track, however maintenance stop by and repaired it immediately. I wish they had a dog park for my dog, there are not many areas to walk my dog. Many of the reviews talk about bed bugs or roaches however, I havent seen any.

I see cockroaches in my sink regularly. I have requested post control, which was started over a month ago and never followed up on when management changed. The ceiling in my bathroom started leaking and instead of putting in a maintenance order, the front desk person gave my boyfriend the number for the county police dispatch as a non emergency number, because I need to call the cops to fix my ceiling. I tried calling the office so they could send someone today but either no one is answering the phone or presidents day is so important that the office is shut down and they didnt think to tell anyone. Thoroughly disappointed in my experience here. Especially since I pay 100 dollars a month for water and sewage and my building never has any hot water. Dont live here unless you like bugs and a useless management team.

Great place! Management is great and trying to make the place great. They have brought in a mobile food pantry and are doing things like tamale Tuesday. The really do care about their residents.

Ok let me start off by saying considering the price in denver is sky high right now i love my apartment good area shopping schools everything you need is right here very conveniet and comfortable until you have to deal with the two in the office which is all togethet another story our last manager was beautiful and dressed with class now we have these two that look like something you would see in a very bad area cheap motel stay very angry very dirty looking and people you wouldnt trust with your pet goldfish but the apartment are actually very nice and comfortable hopefully the upper managment sees these two are not fit to work in a nice comfortable apartment complex like this one and is more selective with there staff in the office next time maybe positve happy upbeat welcoming well dressed pleasent looking ladies or gents i hope. it really pains me to see the person in the front not knowing any Spanish at all not even one word it upsets me to see my people lots of very good tenants struggling so much just to get a word in the whole situation is just awful i hope it gets better God Bless

I have been here almost 6 months. The improvements have been amazing. New wood floors, new windows, all of the roofs are new and exterior finishes have been updated. I like the style. Office staff and maintenance are always available and so eager to help. I cant wait for the pool to open. They have all new patio furniture. And our new clubhouse / gym is almost ready. I feel very happy in my new apartment home.

They dont notify us they going to exterminate the aparment and they charge me $99. For that $19 for the service that they dont provide and $80 for administrative fee so i dont recomended

Ive edited this post after a more positive interaction with the apartment complex management. I had a plethora of issues with this apartment complex and the state of the apartment when I moved in. The major issues were resolved but there are some issues theyre probably not going to do anything about until the apartment is renovated. The apartment complex sprayed for roaches at one point and while the roaches did come back I killed a few and they havent come back since. Im not super clean but im not a messy person. The office ladies are nice and are as helpful as possible. This isnt a super nice place to live as far as building quality but I havent had any issues with the other tenants. If youre living here you just kind of have to accept that this is how it is. That being said, the new owners are continually upgrading the apartments which looked like they hadnt seen a major renovation in decades so there is a lot of work to do. I probably wont be here long enough to see much of that but the new windows were appreciated and greatly needed.

Do Not Waste Your Money or Time With This Place. Cockroaches, loud music and tenants, police and disturbances weekly. This is 2013. it took them over a month to fix our sink after we asked them over and over again! when we first moved in we had no AC unit we had a HUGE HOLE IN OUR WALL!!!! FOR OVER A WEEK!! Roaches were everywhere you went...and they would spray monthly with barely a days notice.

The new property managers here have really cleaned the place up adding a new parking lot with an emphasis on resident privacy, renovated apartments at very decent pricing for the Denver Metro area, updated & cleaner apartment buildings, in addition there will be a new recreation area & exercise & business area that werent here before. They also have invited & hosted a few events to help & bring the community together. There have been a few neighbor disturbances & things that have broken down, but it is nothing that wasnt promptly taken care of, even in my personal experience they have helped me with anything that has come up. Great group of women & men bringing the place together. Bilingual, hablan espanol tambien. Overall Im grateful to have a safe, decent place to live close to businesses & not far from downtown & other areas I may need to go to.

Unsafe, cops are there almost every other weekend . Very drity inside and outside. Our bathtub is painted. And there was cockroaches in the sink. Really bad water when taking a shower, it goes from the temperature you set it on then to burn the skin hot.

AND THE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ARELENE AND EFRAIN AND CORPORATE IS TRASH I ASKED THREE TIMES TO SPEAK TO CORPORATE ABOUT THE COCKROACHES I FOUND. I DID NOT SIGN A LEASE THAT SAID MY APARTMENT WOULD BE INHABITED BY FILTHY DEAD BUGS THAT THEY KNEW ABOUT AND PAINTED OVER. SO WHEN I HAVE HEALTH PROBLEMS AND FIND THESE AND FREAK OUT CAUSE I DONT WANT TO LIVE IN THAT ENVIRONMENT IM GETTING CHARGED. AND I STILLL HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM ANYONE ABOVE ARLENE, I HAVENT EVEN HEARD FROM HER. MY AUNT JUST LEFT CAUSE SHE HAS HAD BED BUGS LIKE CRAZY AND NEVER HAD THEM BEFORE HERE.FOR THE LAST MONTH THEY HAVE REQUIRED HER TO LET THEM INTO HER APT AND EVERY UNIT TO SPRAY FOR BUGS. LITERALLY THE DAY I MOVED IN MY NEIGHBORS WERE THROWING ALL OF THEIR BELONGINGS AWAY FROM BED BUGS. IF YOUR APARTMENTS NEED THIS MUCH WORK DONT RENT THEM OUT AND GET ACCOUNTABLE LEASING STAFF.

These apartments are horrible! I cant wait til my lease is up. Cops are always here. Drunk people everyday. Broken windows without screens, can theft and their cameras dont work.

There was a leak its been leaking for 4 days when I was there I called them and call them they said theyll be there dont come whatever got fed up of it went to the office asked if I could get him different apartment cuz I cant live like that theres water going from the bathroom to the kitchen leaking in the room on the carpet it was bad. But straight to the point I asked the manager if I could get in the apartment she said no if I dont like it I can leave and now they want to send me to court f*** this stupid ass people these kind of people are worth s*** no good mother f****** stupid people Im very pissed off because I have my property got this trip cost of water damage but no they dont give a f*** dont give a f*** about their apartment not even that because they havent even fixed it worst place to ever f****** live in Colorado

I have lived at coronado crossing for over 2 1/2 years & have always paid my rent on time & let me tell u this place sucks. I wouldnt have been here so long if I wasnt on SSDI & couldnt afford to move. They have roaches bad bad bad & bed bugs in almost every apt. when I moved in I asked them if they had bug problems and they told me no and if it did happen they have an exterminator come out every friday. I moved in on 4th of July signed my lease and was given the keys that day and was told I can move in. I open the door to my apartment and it was disgusting. . food, dirt, dirty carpet, ect.. from last tenant was still in apartment no new paint or nothing. So I call the office to let them know what I walked into and the office manager Yolanda told me Well thats because you werent support to move in yet. I let that go and just scrubbed my apartment as good as possible. The first week I was here I was getting bites all over my body by bed bugs and have seen multiple roaches so I call the office to let them know there is bed bugs in my apartment they tell me ok and they will have an exterminator come. The exterminator (coronado maintenance crew) came with bed bug spray that I can buy myself from Walmart and watered it down and sprayed my apt. I complained and got fined $75 for it. Eventually I got rid of the bed bug problem myself. later on the same year I moved in I was in my apartment listening to music cleaning my apartment, the music wasnt loud at all and the owner of coronado opened my door & walked rite in my place and turned my music off. I was shocked... it is not legal for him to do that.... so yeah he heard a couple cuss words from me like what the f#@* u doin... I got fined $100 for cussing him out... then the fees started piling up.. every month they come spray for roaches using their fake roach spray watered down and u get fined $75 if u dont allow them to spray. I got fined $75 each month for the next 4 months even tho I let them spray. these apartments are so bad Ive seen a man run around with a shot gun shooting at people with children playing outside. Ive witnessed a friend get his head sliced open with a samurai sword after his own house getting burglarized by this man while my friend was home. there is meth addicts everywhere. the management and maintenance steal peoples things from their apts. they left me for a whole winter with no bathroom window, it had fell out and shattered. mold everywhere they wont fix. people fall thru stairs. no a/c units in the apts just big hole in the wall where a A/C supposed to go. I have found used syringes outside where kids play. police here at least 5 times a day. They think if u dont speak Spanish or aint illegal u are a outcast and treat u very poorly... 80% of these tenants are illegal immigrants. Now guess what the bed bugs are back and i had to argue with the office to get a professional exterminator in here to spray and now Im being kicked out and only was given less then 2 weeks to be out. Even though my family & i are about to be homeless, i am excited to get out of this bad place. man I could go on forever... BOTTOM LINE THIS PLACE SUCKS AND IS VERY BAD .... DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY TO LIVE HERE!!!!

My friend lived here and everytime I went to see him there was roaches everywhere, he was a very clean person and even bought stuff to kill them himself but they kept comming back. The guy who lived below him was a big coke dealer and would always try to buy me as i was walking up to my friends apartment. And there was always drunk people yelling outside at all hours. Even the cops know this place by name because they are there so often. I would never live here!

Ill tell you what. These apartments are better than living in a trailer home and although I dont live here anymore it has been a wonderful time living here

Personally I have been living in this place for 2 years and I have never had a problem with anyone. The office staff is very friendly as are the maintenance employees. I am very pleased with the treatment and service.

Excellent and fast customer service. Comfortable and quiet environment. Good place to live. Very grateful to Arlene for her infinite help.
