Lived here in 2019 with absolutely no problems.Moved into a different unit that flooded my closet/bathroom 3 times over 3 months. Took about 5 weeks to have the drywall repaired after the leak was fixed. I’m hopeful there will be no issues moving forward.Aside from the plumbing: it is a nice, big unit. I have nice neighbors. The pool is great. Our mail has been held at the post office for the last 5 weeks, as we were having mail stolen.
Edit: injury, roaches, no safety on property, dirty broken laundry, broken ac, leaking water pipes, no maintenance, 3 lying managers with no follow up, same with everyone from Corporate also. Look at the BBB, you know this place is trash im so glad we got out. So no I dont need to call you to tell you what you know. Nothing changing but the staff. The good reviews are definitely fake.
Friendly, helpful, and efficient. The ladies in the leasing office were able to answer all of my questions and get me through the application process quickly. What a pleasant end to a difficult apartment search.. Thank You Much!
Taken alot of hits these few weeks and Ms. Hailey was the best and she helped me with everything. Im so blessed and never be so happy. I thank u so much from the bottom of my heart or all your help and look forward to working with you in the future
Why do you guys even have phones if you never pick up? I’ve called so many times and you guys never pick up. I’ve been here for a month and my mail hasn’t been figured out. I have two different mail boxes and I’m still getting someone else’s mail- not a single one of mine has been delivered which it should be. I have so much lost mail because of how uncoordinated you guys are. I have complained many times to you guys and none of you have done anything to help.
Ive lived here over a month and have been super happy with the place. Got a third floor room without ever visiting and was super happy when i walked in to amazing vaulted ceiling with a skylight window. Kitchen is super nice with all newer appliances, bathroom vanity was also newer and very nice. Water gets boiling hot almost instantly which I love. Outdoor areas are nice and more than enough room for my pup to run around. There were a few things that management had forgotten to do/setup before moving in so i had to put in some maintenance request and thats where my experience got even better. I met Frankie the maintenance guy, only one Ive dealt with and want to deal with at this point, and this dude is a gem. Most courteous maintenance guy Ive had at all my apartments, he makes sure you know exactly what hes doing and doesnt sugarcoat things to make you forget about an issue with the apartment. He constantly checks in on pending issues even if theyre not something he cant fix himself. One time the man even left me a hand written not letting me know what he did because I was at work and couldnt answer the phone, HOW AMAZING IS THAT? I have recently noticed a couple of roaches fighting for my dogs food but I know if i hit up Frankie hell get that taken care of asap. So overall Ive had a great experience even with issues arising here and there. Hoping their track records stays up to the level ive seen it.
I lived on the bottom floor and experienced roaches, floods of sewage water, gunshots, screaming neighbors as the walls are SUPER thin and gross smells. Ive called maintenance numerous times to fix the wall and cabinets that the flood damaged but they did cheap work and through time broke again. I advise you to stay away from this place, you deserve better.
Very few complaints! Yes, once I saw a roach in my apartment, but they came and sprayed the next day, and for another week just to be careful, and I havent seen any since! I feel safe walking around at any time of day. The office staff and maintenance people are friendly, and Ive never had an issue with mail or packages. There is a dog poop issue, but thats more on residents.
Roland completed five work orders in my apartment yesterday, some I had been waiting over two months for. He even completed three other minor annoyances that I hadnt even submitted yet. He really went above and beyond and all within two hours. I sincerely appreciate him making me feel a lot more comfortable before having my family over to open Christmas gifts this week!
DO NOT MOVE HEREBy far the WORST apartment complex. They don’t pay there bills and owe numerous vendors a bunch of money. They have no maintenance staff. Some buildings have absolutely no heat or hot water. Constant building back up and floods. Buildings are completely infested with roaches and bed bugs. Was showed a picture of a unit in building 9 that had 2 plastic bowls full of living bed bugs. Management is a complete joke and have no idea what they are doing. They have a serious problem with homeless people breaking into units. Cops are always at the property. All of Advenir should be taken to fair housing and BBB. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY
This is the second time we have had issues with the heat not working. After the 2nd work order asking for the heat to be fixed, I receiveda email explaining how a boiler system works instead of coming to actually fix the issue then the worker said the issue was fixed. For another 3 days we had no heat in zero degree weather and my wife called the office 3 times about the issue in which they said someone would be over before 3pm which no one ever came. My wife ended up having to call the emergency line 3 times before Jake(the maintenance manager)came and fixed our heat. He told us that he was told by the other worker that we wanted to wait until monday to have our heat fixed which is ridiculous as its negative degree weather and we have a baby. Thank you to Jake for fixing the issue but we are highly upset that it took so long for the problem to be solved and we were still being charged for heat that we werent recieving
I was visiting a buddy of mine here and was found myself jealous that the maintenance guy here is all over his responsibilities. I stopped him to ask about smoking on the property and he said his name was Roland. I live in Fort Collins at a complex that hosts my condo. I’d like to get him up here. Hard worker. Smart
Very unprofessional lady. Went today to pick up Amazon order and she refused to let me get my package. She made it a big deal that I had to come back tomorrow, even tho the packages were right in front of the door, and Amazon had just dropped them off, van was still there. I asked her what time they close she said 5, but website says 6! And I was there at 5:58. I get That I went at almost closing, but if they really cared about their tenants, they wouldn’t have made it a big deal for me to get my package when it was literally 2 feet away from me. Not only did she lie about the closing time, but she was just to lazy to let me get my package!!
Listing things they havent came and fixed my stuff so I had to fix it by myself we have a rat and cockroach infestation that still has yet to be dealt with the water system sucks we get cold showers during the day and cold at night at times the came and put a water attachment that was horrible bad water flow so my family removed it the pool gets closed over and over cause its not properly taken care of maintenance hardly do their job
My Daughter has lived here for about 3 months now. In those three months she has experienced water pouring from the ceiling in the bathroom above the shower. Shes called the office numerous times, only to be told that they were going to send out a plumber. It has been two weeks since the initial call and still no plumber has been to her unit. Water is still leaking....Also, there is water leaking from underneath the kitchen sink...Smells like mold brewing. This place is unacceptable and we will be taking further action
Roland just came in to my apt, and he did great, he just fixed our bathroom and he was such a nice dude .Thx for ur help buddy
Im writing this review on behalf of my granddaughter to bring awareness to what she experienced when moving here. She moved into this apartment roughly a month ago. The process leading up to my move in shouldve been enough to deter, but she was in a bind for finding a place and this was unfortunately the only option. To begin with, they settled on a 2bed 1bath because the 2 bath they wanted had been taken by the time they went to pay the deposit. The system suffered an issue where it wouldnt let her or her roommates sign their lease and didnt reflect application fees as paid. They went through hoops of giving the confirmation numbers to management, showing bank statement and so much more. They were constantly told it had been taken care of or not to worry then be contacted saying otherwise. Fast forward, they went in and informed the office of the problem with signing their lease as the system just wouldnt allow for it. They said it was fine, printed out the lease and gave instructions to sign it then return. Naturally her and her roommates did all this, but when they tried to bring it back the next day, no one was in the office even though the sign said open on Sundays. So, they decided to wait until next day to give them the signed paper lease, only to be told that they cant take a paper lease because everything is digital and they didnt know why their leasing agent wouldve done that.Next, on their FIRST night in the apartment, after they had settled down from moving all day, they were greeted by roaches. Mind you this was 11pm at night when they were trying to sleep after a long day of moving. Underneath the carpet in the bedrooms they located a decent amount of babies. They couldnt sleep in these conditions and ended up having to find somewhere else to sleep for the next three nights because pest control for this building wouldnt be able to come out and handle until then. Pest control has been out since and they STILL are having roach issues which have progressed to kitchen and bathroom. The communication was the biggest issue here. They have had to go out of their way and contact the leasing office to check on the status of things since moving in since no one calls them to follow up first. If things take time then its fine. but there needs to be communication of this. They havent had one moment where they could relax since moving in.One of the good things about this complex is that the new maintenance man has been very helpful in trying to fix the broken things in their apartment since move in. Hes very pleasant and always addresses things on time.UPDATE: Since posting this review, the application fee has finally been taken care of. They managed to locate the payments exactly where my granddaughter had told them theyd gone. There had been a glitch in the system that put two applications in, so the fees were on the second one. Additionally, their concession has been applied to take care of rent for the last two months. They were given $500 off each month as an apology from the apartment complex. Although it did take awhile to go through, it has been applied. Things are managing to get taken care of although they take some time. Ill keep updating this through their lease to show any progress.
Roland the maintenance man was prompt and polite and we prefer him to past personnel!
Roland from the maintenance team was great. Very professional and courteous.
They steal your packages the mailboxes don’t lock, everything in the apartment is falling apart
Thankful for the new maintenance guy on staff!! He got the dry walk complete and fixed the broken cupboard door!!
Maintenance came very fast. Thank you.
My husband and I just moved in to a top floor renovated apartment after living away from Denver for two years. We were so surprised by the rise in rent when we were looking to move back so we feel so lucky to have found this great apartment at a great price! The apartment itself is renovated (brand new appliances and updated flooring and refinished cabinets and counters). The upgrades are clearly on the cheap end but at least the place looks nice and its clean! Its exactly what we were looking for. Plus the complex has tons of green space, plenty of parking, a beach volleyball court, a nice pool, and a nice office with computers and printer for resident use. But the best part so far has been the staff. We were looking for apartments from Bogota, Colombia and Joe was SUPER helpful and easy to work with. He made the whole process a breeze and he was patient through all my back and forth emails. Bonnie was also very patient with us figuring out our hectic move in day with my brother-in-law picking up the keys and issues with signing the lease online. And when we moved in there were a few issues that needed to be addressed by maintenance and they took care of everything the next day! Its only been a few weeks but so far we feel like we made the perfect decision for our situation and budget. If youre looking for something not too fancy, reasonably priced, with a great staff, then you should definitely check out Cypress Point Apartments.
If I could leave no stars I would. We have put in work orders for maintainence and it has been almost 2 months and no one has come to fix what weve asked to be fixed. The office attendants are rude and disrespectful and refuse to fulfill the work orders. I will report a complaint to the BBB in hopes of getting this resolved.
I have lived here for almost two years and I dont have any complaints. The property met my expectations and the staff have always been kind, helpful, and welcoming. For me, theyve also been pretty good about quick turnarounds when I had a question or a concern. The management is in the middle of making improvements to the common areas of the property and I think they are doing a great job so far! I look forward to seeing what they can accomplish this year!
Been here for about 2 months now ! I’ve been living without a kitchen light for a week now . The neighbors above us run their shower and it leaks out of ours . I’ve put in multiple request . There’s only one maintenance guy who was super helpful until he said a plumber was coming and he never showed up . Invested in roaches . The front office NEVER returns or answers people’s calls . They ALWAYS have the office closed so nobody can get help . It’s ridiculous they also are charging people extra for rent for idk what reason
MY experience with this property has been excellent, the office staff is friendly and attentive. After I moved in I needed a work order done on my window and the maintenance staff came by just a few hours later and fixed it. You can tell the genuinely care about their tenants and I plan to lease here for a long time.
Roland and Frankie did an amazing job
Roaches and more problems. Current tenant, they would be a great place to live if they would take initiative and fix the issues you bring to them however it’s been infested with cockroaches and various other issues since before I moved it... Can’t wait for this lease to end
This place is legit. I moved in last month and I keep my place clean, havent seen a single bug. Like, not even a single spider chilling in a corner. The units are renovated and everything in the apartment is nice and new and working. The move-in cost was low. Neighbors are all nice. Lots of kids but well behaved.
I am not happy with maintenanace. I submitted work orders two times for the same issue its our 3weeks no one comes to see whats the problem in here🥺
Just moved in and already love the place! Safe and great neighborhood, and lovely staff. They will help with any problem and make you feel at home in the community.
Thanks to Sam, any work I need done in my apartment gets done quickly. If I ever have an issue, the staff is on it right away. I think the people is what makes living here so enjoyable.
This apartment complex is a joke. First off if you need anything from the management dont bother. You cant call or email they NEVER respond. Ive lived here 4 months and not a single call I have EVER made to them during BUSINESS HOURS has EVER been answered. The apartment I live in is not updated like the ones across the hall from me or the ones above me yet I still pay the same amount in rent. The showers are so bipolar its not even funny. Theyve shut off water to my apartment because they were working on something and not said a word about it. The photos you see online are fake. The tennis/basketball court is not even green anymore. Its run down and ridiculous. My neighbors across the hall moved out because their apartment flooded from rain and the manager missed their appointment with them about it and never even contacted them to let them know they werent coming. The whole place is a joke.
The leasing staff here has been incredible. They always greet us with a smile. They thank us at every opportunity. Me and my wife feel very welcomed here. We are not just tenants and customers. We feel like we are important to this community because of the leasing staff. The maintenance department has been Johnny on the spot for us. We never felt like we are a burden to the maintenance personnel. They have apologized for the inconvenience and thanked us several times while being in our home. They have cleaned up after work was completed. We never had to wait more than 72 hours with them. That included replacing the ac which they had to order first. I could never be more impressed with all the staff members at an apartment complex. You guys go the extra mile at all times. We are grateful for all your hard work!
The staff is amazing. They are very helpful and always there when you need them. I have lived here for a little over a year and a half and cannot complain. I will probably live here for many years to come!
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in a complex. We had cockroaches in our apartment and they charged us for the removal. It’s always dirty with rats running around. I have been harassed by people multiple times. Our deadbolt doesn’t work on our front door. The office staff is horrible at helping or answering any questions. I would not recommend this to anyone to live here. It’s gross and the people are very rude.
If I could rate it zero, I would. Lived here for one year and everything turned to complete chaos. I had roaches at the beginning and it took 6 months to actually get rid of them. They changed management teams in the middle of my term, but the new management is no better. Rachel has falsely accused me of things that I didnt even know was possible to be accused for. It seems that it is all my fault that I had roaches for so long, even though my room mate and I are fairly clean. As soon as I got rid of the roaches, I got bed bugs. I had to throw everything away and somehow they still couldnt even get rid of them the first time. I got bed bugs a second time and they seem to only spray in apartments who complain instead of spraying the whole building. They change their employees so much I dont even know who I am talking to anymore. Which is probably why nothing has changed. Rachel is completely rude when youre trying to work anything out with the building and they just do not seem to care. I highly suggest not even trying to live here. They do not even seem to regulate who lives where. There was even a shooting when I first moved in due to my above neighbors fighting. They acted surprised when my across neighbor told them about it, as if they had no idea. They didnt even bother to check my upstairs neighbors after that. They are impossible to work with and living here was just awful
Legitimate section 8 housing. And youre not paying any less for it. Expect your mail to get stolen multiple times. Expect the leasing office to lose rent payment, and proceed to charge you hundreds extra. Expect noisy neighbors due to poor floorplans. If relieving myself from this lease is just as difficult as everything else has been, my lawyer will have lots of fun with this.
Had no run ins with any issues as far as my 13 months living here can tell me. The staff is really excellent and the community is really well taken care of!
There was a mistake on our pet information with the office and I called to ask for more information. The individual in the office was so kind and helped me through the issue and we were able to resolve in less than 15 minutes. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the current office staff and the maintenance team and enjoy living in the community.I love this apartment complex we have lived here for three years and I wanted to give a review at the end of our lease incase any issues came up. Our lease isnt over, in fact we just resigned but the level of kindness and customer support I recieved today made me come write this review.
These Apartment are the worst apartments I have ever lived at. Since day 1 we had nothing but lies. we asked if there was any pest in our buildings they said no. I got attacked by bed bugs the 1st night . 2nd month they tried to raise our rent on the 3rd month they charged us twice and overdrew my husbands account. The water turns extremely hot and cold consistently when I called the office to let them know I got burned in the shower, maintenance said they cant do nothing about it its the boiler refilling fast. Rachel the manager said I was being over charged 3 months back said she would fix it, never did. When I asked a second time she tried to blame the other workers. She then fired the worker and charged me $165 over my rent again. They never answer their phone and lock tenants out when they have problems with multiple tenants I see this done myself. Rats are everywhere and they leave them laying in the parking lot for days. Our building has bed bugs and roaches. I seen roaches in the washer in the laundry room
I suggest against trusting anything these people say or anything one their site. They changed documents after I e-signed them, they didnt keep to any of their verbal agreements. Their site does not list actual costs and only after paying fees do they reveal additional charges. As best I can tell they use these methods to scam application and administration fees from people. This is based on the apartments being removed from their website, for being reserved, then returning in a few days, repeatedly. Please do not trust them. I recommend against dealing with them.
Don’t get me wrong I personally haven’t had any issues with management and I’m not going to blame them for every little thing wrong with these apartments. I’m sure you’ve seen the vast amounts of complaints about trash, roaches, rats and bed bugs and all of that is true but not for every unit/building. My father and I have lived here for about 4 years now (him 4 years and me 2 years). Last year 2017 I had a couple run ins with roaches when I went to go do my laundry unknowingly one hitched a ride with me back to my apartment and luckily we killed it before things could get out of hand. We luckily don’t have these common issues other families have living here because our neighbors keep their trash and waste out of the reach of these pest. The rat and mice problem has gotten better over time but as you will read in other reviews at night you are bound to see them without a doubt. So if you squeamish then it would be in your best interest to not put yourself though the trouble. Despite the issues the complex faces the people here are still good people with decent hearts. I personally think it’s a case of “if you don’t know any better and haven’t seen better, you can’t do better” unfortunately. There is a clean park right across the way and you are in walking distance from many stores and shops. RTD bus stops are very close if not right outside your apartment. I don’t believe that this is “section 8 living for downtown prices” like someone remarked but I can see why they would say that. Later rather then sonner this area might be cleaned up enough to compliment the rent but because of the messy people that refuse to pick up after themselves it will take a while to get there.
They charged us for a pet deposit twice because they couldn’t keep records. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Across the street is ten times better, don’t even think about living here. Filled with bed bugs and rats, NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!
If only i didnt live by the basketball court! only complaint i can make is the handles in the kitchen snag my headphone cables a lot.. more of a personal issue. for the price and area, one of the best spots
I cant speak to the other reviews on here, but Ive been living here for three years and the management has just gotten better over time. Especially the current management. Nothing but helpful, and friendly. Safe environment, even in the dead of night when having to walk my dog.
I recently moved into this complex to live with a friend - building 15. So far, its proved to provide very little that relates to the cost. Only being honest. My shower and bathroom sink have reverse hot and cold knobs for instance, my neighbor expressed a complaint about bed bugs... Apparently the AC has not worked in some time, and there was a knocking all night long (I assume pipes, after all) during winter!Least of all yet consistently obnoxious is the parking. You cannot find a spot past 5 p.m. Yet theres atleast one abandoned car (hasnt moved in literally months) for every 7-8 spots... beware! Theyll tow your vehicle if you park out of place though. And itll cost you X hundred dollars.Yet, its a forgiving community that really isnt that bad and apartments are about parking for denver prices these days! Plus... Balconies! The price is do-able, just find a good laundromat and know the management isnt there for you. Hope this helps.
I had stayed here for a year while I went to college. The floor plans were exceptional and the community at first seemed very nice. However I have a multitude of problems with this place. Ive had homeless people sleeping in my apartment stairwell, as well as teenagers smoking weed. And even when calling the community security no one came. The maintenance is not up to par when I first moved in my fire alarm was far too old and would constantly sound off, from the beginning of my lease to the end no one came to fix it. Also while the complex was fixing the roof the roofers knocked out one of the light fixtures from the ceiling again I called maintenance and no one fixed it. Finally the contract policies are extremely lopsided and in favor of the complex and not the customer. Overall it has the potential to be a great living place but it has some serious issues that do not make it worth the rent price. I would consider something else.
I was staying in 6-303 from Jan 2014 to Jan 2016. When I moved it was with the Cypress point and Advenir At cherry creek south has taken over last year. I dont know what kind of Transition they have given and I had a very bad experience with the current Management. When I moved out of the Home they charged me $737.73 as fine amount. I went to the leasing center along with my wife and my friend who was staying there. There was a person in the leasing center and I discussed each and every point which they charged. She was agreed on what ever we spoke and but she did not have any idea. She said she will discuss with the Finance team and they will call back to discuss on it. I have given my phone no and I did not receive any call. Today I got call from Collection agency that I did not pay the amount. If they take over from one company to other company, how come resident will impact? When I took the apartment the Carpet was very old and it was not changed I stayed with that carpet alone for 3 years. We informed to the Cypress Point team and they said we know your apartment is old and we will take care of it.How come a New owners - Advenir at Cherry Creek south can charge for more than 3 yrs old carpet? They have taken over my deposit as $200 as well.Thrash area and mainly washer and dryer place was horrible. TSince I moved away 15 miles, I have introduced my friend that he will talk to them. He went to the leasing center while discussing they did not allow him to talk. Then why the Leasing office person accepted to talk to my friend in Further discussion.Dry wall repairs by Window living room - $100.I have complained to the leasing office when I lived. Cold Air was coming inside from Window and informed them. They came and stick tape and said fixed. Since Air did not come inside, we said okay. Now they are charging $100 as fine. When I moved to Cypress point, they said like If I move on the 1 year 100% will charge as fine if they find any.2nd Year means - they will charge 50%.3rd Year - You should guess. Some of my friends lived there and moved out.One person made a hole on the wall - He was not fined. One person restroom and wall was very bad - they did not fineBut all are moved out when it was with Cypress Point. After this New Management came, they lost the track and fine the resident like anything.Even If we give the phone no to discuss, they are not calling to discuss. There is no warning message or anything. Just send the amount to collection agencies which is really frustrating.Very Very bad place to live with Current Management.
I have been a resident at the Adenvir at Cherry Creek South for almost two years. In the last year, a resident moved in and out of my building and brought Roaches. There has been a Roach infestation in my building for 14 months now. Despite 5 separate properly filed work requests, 2 written complaints, and an answer in a court case the end result is, this apartment complex whos slogan is they treat you like family decided to force me and my family (to include two children) to move, because they refused to fix the problem. Now I am having to file a Small Claims Case in order to be able to move because of an inability to properly word filed paperwork for residents to be able to forcefully move. I do not recommend this place unless you want roaches in your home and rats under your hood.
I give these GHETTO apartments a zero score. They do not do background checks on the residents and you have people smoking weed outside in the common area like the basketball courts etc. You have some guys selling weed as kids are outside playing. The leasing office is a JOKE and they have changed personnel 5 times in the year I lived there. I moved out in August of 2015 and do not move in there unless you can deal with all that I have listed! For what Cypress Points charges you can live in a decent place not on Quebec. BE CAREFUL AND SMART WHEN RENTING IN DENVER!!!
This is an awesome place to live. Maintenance does a great job at getting to issues, management is great take very good care of you.
This should be your absolute LAST option to rent.... There are no locks on the buildings so you will have homeless people living in your building with you.. This place is so CHEAP that they will charge you for carpet cleaning (never lived somewhere that they do that). Maria in the office is lacking in her secretary skills... God forbid if she actually remember to take your name and a message, because she WONT remember to deliver your message... Called the office Friday and she took a message, said she would have Rachel call back.. The weekend went by, and finally we just decided to go into the office to resolve our problem... Found out that they had our forwarding address WRONG... Even though we provided the CORRECT forwarding address... Took us more than 70 days to get a security deposit back.... They hardly answer their office phone... They literally ignored my calls... Would not return my multiple message.... Overall a very bad experience with little to no care at all from Advenir at Cherry Creek South.... Also the units are very poorly insulated so it is ALWAYS cold and the doors for the buildings in the winter time are left ajar because there are no locks.... The tenants are responsible for paying the heat in the building unt which is constantly on because the doors do not shut properly... We brought this issue up numerous times and nothing was ever done.... Very cheap place and not a good environment...
Bed Bugs. Hood rats and drug dealers. Renter beware!!! This place is cheap for a reason as its a complex known for illegal activity. The maintenance employees never show up when theyre supposed to. Not a good neighborhood and I found bed bugs in my unit. Theres a reason why they have bad reviews!! Bed Bugs and Ghetto people. Horrible apartments.
First month went great then discovered homeless people sleeping in the apartment buildings. Not once or twice but every single night having to kick people out from sleeping on your stairs. ALL apartment buildings are open to the public and there is zero security patrol. The worst part about it is, the managers dont care. Ive reported this incident multiple times and their only response has been call the cops. No plans to fix the problem or increase safety for residents just, call the cops.
The Techs do a great job, all while enduring some tenants attitudes/complaints. If youre an adult act like one.The Staff at Advenir At Cherry creek South will continue to do their jobs. Someone has too.
We almost made it a year through our 16mo lease. Almost. We’re trying to be as honest as possible here. This review is more of a reflection on Advenir as a company, not necessarily the current Cherry Creek South management team in place. It’s long, but if you’re even considering taking the risk to live here, please read it all.We were fairly happy until it started to get cold and the pipes above our unit 13-102 started banging loudly at all hours. It was as if someone sat there hitting the metal pipes with a hammer- no pattern or predictability. We notified management of the issue by November, but nothing was done until February. We were told “the buildings are old” and there’s nothing they can do to fix it. One of us was finishing college and the other worked 50 hours a week. We had to move our bed to the living room to try to get some sleep, and even then we could still hear the banging pipes through the walls. In February we were finally moved to a new unit, but within the same building. The renovations were not done nearly as nice as our previous unit and we still had to pay the same rent. But alas, the banging pipes have returned. In our kitchen this time. Our new units kitchen drawers aren’t on real tracks and they either leave sawdust all over our kitchen or break when you pull them out. The actual units vary from unit to unit and are obviously not nearly as nice as the models they show you when you sign the lease. The way Advenir bills utilities is baffling to us and the leasing agents at the place we’re moving to. Most of the utilities are billed by a formula, not actual usage. Expect to pay around $125 for utilities regardless of how much you use. We’ve paid an average of $45 a month for gas and we haven’t turned the heat on once all winter. We are charged a sewage fee, trash fee, common area electric fee, and a $6.50 fee for the company that Advenir chooses to use to compile the bills (shouldn’t they be paying that?!)As for the neighbors, you get what you pay for. In the last month alone we’ve encountered a chicken bone, an empty bottle of liquor, spilled take out, and the overwhelming smell of vomit on multiple occasions. If you get home past 6pm, expect to park on the opposite side that you live on. Our 2nd unit wreaked of cigarettes and we spent our first week scrubbing the walls with vinegar to try to remove the smell. The buildings aren’t secured and their “security” company that the contract to close the laundry rooms at night showed up early one time and locked the doors anyways. The regular schedule is locked doors from 10pm-7am. We went to grab our laundry at 9pm and the doors were locked. When we went the next morning at 8am the doors were still locked and we had to leave for work/school. When we got home our 2 loads of laundry had been stolen. 6 custom bike race jerseys that were irreplaceable, plus 2+ weeks worth of laundry. Advenir management said that since there is a posted sign stating they’re not responsible for property left in the laundry rooms, they couldn’t help us. Even though our stuff was only left there for the day because the contracting company was lazy. Luckily we had great renters insurance that paid to replace our clothes. If not, we would have spent $3,000 of our own money to replace all that was stolen.Overall, Advenir isn’t the worst place to live. It was a roof over our head for a year and it didn’t break the bank. However, with new rent prices going up you could definitely find something nicer for the same cost. It was a place to live, but we ended up living in our living room, fighting to get answers, moving to a new unit, and now moving our before our lease is up and having to continue to pay Advenir until July. We wouldn’t recommend living here. It’s better than being homeless (although we did have a homeless man hanging out in our laundry room one time because the building isn’t secured at all), but you can definitely find somewhere better.
Adviner @ Cherry Creek South, is Trash within a couple of weeks started noticing little roaches running around and we lived on the third floor I’m still trying to figure out how they got up there. You definitely don’t want to move in the summer because there a/c units are trash and just runs up your xcel bill also there are rats running back in fourth from the apartments to the trash can and office management is trash the offer no assistance and are highly unprofessional “save your money” choose wisely
Where do I start. Im usually not the type of person to do reviews because I know every company will have their flaws. BUT when I complain about something more than 3 times (rats) and they start to show up on my patio thats where I have the issue. The first 2 times I complained I never noticed anything after the 3rd time of complaining about seeing rats in the bushes, sidewalk, under the cars, by the dumpster, and of course huge dead rats on the side walk I called and Jackie said she will get it taken care of. 2 days later looked like the so called maintenance men they have working for them only piled dirt around the bush (as if the rats cant use their claws to get out.) I do have a pic of the rat on my patio inside my shoes. The first year I lived here it was awesome no complaints but after the 2nd year going into the 3rd year its gets worse and worse. The staff that they have now are so unprofessional, never answers the phone but when you go the leasing office everyone is sitting at their desk or sitting around talking. But I do know that for $1090 plus utilities ($1220) its not worth our money. Hopefully they can get it tougher before our lease is up.
Out with the good staff and in with the bad staff. No one wants to live where the property manager cant do their job the right way. This particular property is roach infested and thats including the manager who is racist, unspeakably rude and tells you different prices when i clearly states on your lease different HORRIBLE place to live and i wouldnt have moved here if it wasnt for the fact they dont make you verify income. Property Infected Management Horrible Beyond Horrible.
Worst place I ever lived, section 8 people for downtown prices. i have had nothing but issues since living here. all my neighbors are moving out and i am as soon as lease is up or might go off a breach of contract because it states in lease that towing company will only be called by the apartment but they patrol through every Friday night looking for infractions and when your car gets towed the managers at the apartment no nothing about it. once had black stuff coming from sinks and was not fixed fully for two weeks. DO NOT LIVE HERE WORST APARTMENTS FOR THE PRICE. the front office does not answer the phone and the apartment officer does not do his job either. ALWAYS SMELLS LIKE WEED IN EVERY APARTMENT BUILDING. i could go on and on JUST WARNING YOU DONT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MOVE IN PRICE YOU WILL THANK ME LATER. HORRIBLE APARTMENTS. wish i could keep going but have to go work my ass off to pay the prices they keep raising. DONT BELIEVE THE OTHER REVIEWS THE OTHER MANAGERS POST THEM TO MAKE THEM SELVES LOOK GOOD> COME TALK TO THE RESIDENTS BEFORE MOVING IN
Every place has its PROS AND CONS... for me what I loved more about this place is that all of the office staffs are AMAZING but NICK was, is, and will always be my FAVORITE. He is A GREAT ASSET TO THIS COMPANY AND I HOPE THEY GET TO KEEP HIM FOREVER AND GIVE HIM A RAISE. He is sooo kind and welcoming, literally the BEST. He always went above and beyond to help me and has a really kind heart (which Im gona miss alot) but Im so grateful that I had the chance to live here and so grateful to have met Nick as one of the office staff in this place, he is so PROFESSIONAL and KIND Ive never felt so accepted before, he really did made my staying here feel like home... he does his job with a smile on they all do and thats one of the things that I really appreciate more in people. I hope he sees this because HE IS REALLY ONE OF A KIND. My experience here was great because I had the chance to meet someone as kind as Nick to work there and went above and beyond to satisfy people and people like me so Im thankful and Im thankful for everyone in that office and just wanted to show my gratitude.... THANKS AGAIN, GOD BLESS!!
The office staff is helpful and cooperative. The manager is super nice.
BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGSMOLD & RATS! MOLD & RATS! MOLD & RATS! MOLD & RATS!DO NOT RENT HERE!!I moved out in November 2016 and two months later I am still waiting on whats left of my security deposit. Throughout my nightmare one year stay, a pipe behind my dishwasher kept leaking into the living room area so the carpet turned moldy and all their maintenance team did was look and say, theres no water leak. BS dudes, youre lazy, stupid or not getting paid enough to care. The carpet was GREEN. GREEN = MOLD. They charged me for cleaning a carpet they ripped out the same day I turned in my keys. $200 to clean a carpet infested with bed bugs, toxic bug powder that hurts people and pets, and MOLD?My unit was broken into by a crazy person. Managements response was to replace my screen door. NOT HELPFULAlso: rats love the dumpster. They run back and forth from dumpster to buildings all night every night. Coyotes love the rats. They run around the complex looking for a snack. Raccoons run around close to the buildings looking for stray things to eat. Easy because the people here leave their trash on the ground all the time. I ran over a glass bottle in a parking space the other day. Told the leasing office who assured me theyd clean it up. Its still there! Found another one in another space yesterday. If you have kids, keep them close. There are homeless people who break into the laundry rooms to sleep and will jump your patio railing to sift through your ashtray (if you smoke). To put it another way, this is a good place if you already have meth scabs because youll get plenty more scabs from theBEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS
Constant billing errors and hidden fees. If you have no problem with that then the apartment was generally nice. This is my attempt to get a call back after leaving multiple voicemails for the past month and never getting called back over my security deposit.
There are bed bugs and at night you see rats running all over. Always going up on the rent. And go in your apartment when ever they want. They turn off the hot water without even telling you.DONT RENT HERE.
Seriously the worst apartments possible. Why you ask?1. The office - They refuse to answer your phone calls. Ive kept calling and calling for 2 weeks. NO ONE HAS ANSWERED MY PHONE CALL. So, tired, I went up to the office. Tell me why I waited 45 minutes for someone to walk into the office (on her cellphone) and told me that someone would be in here in a minute. Why couldnt she help me? Shes the main manager at this apartment complex. So whenever the other person comes, hes rude and very unhelpful.2. Maintenance - The shower in my apartment is never hot and if it is, its for 5 minutes. Everything is falling apart. When maintenance comes to fix something, it seems like 4 other things are broken. The shower was broken at one point, water constantly running, when I put in a work order for this issue, they finally came 4 DAYS LATER. My water bill? Unreal.3. The parking lot - Recently they fixed the parking lot. When I mean fixed, they repainted it. No more spaces to help with the overcrowded lot. They didnt do a damn thing to help the issue. They repainted the parking lot to make it look better to get new attendants in.Unless you are completely desperate, DO NOT LIVE HERE. It will be a pain in your ass. You will hate living here just as the other tendents.I will be moving out in November. This is absolutely the WORST place I have ever lived.
I enjoyed my apartment and the staff until Rachel allowed my personal space and ESA to be disrespected without even getting an apology. She just simply blamed me. When I reached out to Darlene, she did not respond to my concerns or attempt to make things better. Four workers went into my apartment to complete two work orders in which it took them three weeks to even get to, then never even fixed them, but managed to lock my ESA in a room where she became distressed and destroyed two of my things as well as the door spring. The guys also left a light on and my water running for hours. When i spoke with Rachel, she practically called me a liar and told me to start making appointments for when i am home, but they have no weekend workers. I emailed Darlene because i felt like i should be reimbursed for the water and electricity left on as well as my property that was damaged. She did not respond to my email, but instead had Rachel email me again just to blame me once again and pretend to care. STILL, no one has apologized or tried to make things right. I WILL NO LONGER BE REFERRING PEOPLE TO THIS APARTMENT. I referred a good friend of mine and still have not gotten any payment for the referral. I loved the apartment, i hate the management. They couldnt care less about their residents.
I have lived at this residence for 3 years. In this period of time we have had about 4 managers none of which keep any policies consistent and fail to inform the residences of the changes. The people in the office constantly change and constantly are rude to residents. Maintenance cannot fix any problem long term and when they do come to fix items in the apartments leave messes. Once maintenance left a saw on my toilet after fixing a leaking pipe above my shower, I had to take the saw into the office when I returned home from work. My doors, floors and personal items have permanent finger prints on them from maintenance touching everything after working with plaster. My toilet will only flush if you hold down the handle through the entire flush cycle. The grounds have been torn apart by unsupervised children. The volleyball court no longer has a net.
Advenir at Cherry Creek South is a good place to live and work. I love the amenities and overall a excellent place to live.
COCKROACHES!!!!!!! Management will act like this is the first they have heard of it. The current manager is rude and disrespectful. Whenever you bring up a problem, she gets defensive and hostile. They say basically the only way they will recognize the Colorado law (38-12-505 stating pests condemns a place as uninhabitable) if you start a legal case. That is why they can get away with this stuff, because most people who rent here can’t afford an attorney. The manager is childish, the place is cheap, and the pests are abundant. Avoid at all costs.
DO NOT MOVE HERE. Bed bugs, rats, and roaches. The management has no desire to help their residents. The apartments are WAY over priced. So many residents I know are breaking their leases early because of the health risks the staff refuse to acknowledge.
For starters, its an apartment in Denver, so its overpriced. The remodeling they did recently clearly went to the lowest bidder, as is evident by the lopsided cabinet doors on the cheap cabinets that only got repainted, the faux granite countertops that arent properly secured to the counter, and the slanted tubs that allow water to pool up on the floor outside the tub.Maintenance is usually slow to respond and dont fix the problem, preferring to slap down a quick bandaid that will result in the problem reoccurring quickly.Theres ample parking on the far edges of the community but never near enough in front of the buildings, meanwhile their expensive covered parking spots are almost empty. To top it all off, their online rent payment service charges a fee for paying online. Because the dozen extra utility charges they add to your rent each month arent enough.
Lived here for a year they never fixed anything in the fitness center. The staff was rude and unhelpful every time I submitted a service request it took over a month it was cheap and easy to move into because it sucks honestly I wish I wouldve read reviews before moving here.
Tonya and Daffney in the main office are awesome, super friendly, and will help with whatever you may need.
This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. First off we moved in and found out there is BED BUGS, management is just awful, they are rude and never get anything fixed. Today I came home to find that the bug guy that had spray my house ripped off the lining on my bed frame, are you serious!??! Brand new bed and now I have to buy a new lining. Who rips apart someones bed!? Was told by a professional that the lining keeps bugs out of your bed and now it is exposed for bugs. I can not wait until this year is over to move out of this horribly ran establishment. Do not move into these apartments, the cheap rent is not worth all the Bullshit that you have to deal with.
I moved in to my apartment September, and I think it is great. I am in a two bedroom, two bath and my floor plan is absolutely darling. The prices are very reasonable for Denver, so my husband and I were actually able to splurge for the two bedroom instead of the one. So, thanks to the pricing, my husband and I each have our own bathroom, and I have a spare bedroom to keep all of my clothes, my makeup vanity, and my computer. The floor plan overall is incredibly spacious. I got a third level, so the vaulted ceilings are very nice. The appliances are new and work very well. It has dark cupboards and dark flooring to accent the spackled counters and sand colored walls, which I really like. I dont hear my neighbors much.I have literally NEVER had any of the new laundry machines hiccup on me. I would imagine that if you do have a machine that takes your money, you can just go to the office and put in a service request for them. And the refill card is SOOOO convenient. Trying to get quarters anywhere other than a Laundromat is a pain, and Laundromats only give you quarters if you are washing in THEIR facility. It really doesnt get more convenient than the card machine; I can load it with my debit card. Anyone who thinks that isnt convenient enough needs to realize that we are adults, and life isnt going to wait on you hand and foot.I use the laundry facilities for catch-up throughout the week, but there is a Laundromat next to the neighborhood Walmart that is maybe a 3 minute drive, and that Laundromat is easily one of the nicest Ive ever been to. I use this for when I procrastinate laundry for too long and want it all done at once. That shopping center with the Walmart also has a Nail Salon, A phone store, many food options, a Banfield Vet office, AND a discount liquor store. Score. This area is lower Cherry Creek, but is certainly a nicer area than some. I walk my dog all about, and at all hours of the night, and I dont usually see any creepy creeps. I used to live very close to Colfax, so this area is a very refreshing adjustment.I also saw a review down below saying that the carports are expensive? The carports are only 20.00 monthly. That is standard, and actually really cheap. My husband and I have two carports, and still manage to find parking for my daily driver. So I guess this just depends on what part of the community youre in?Anyway. All the fees are standard to apartment communities. All the angry reviewers are going to move elsewhere and find that, SURPRISE, the new place charges similar fees. Pest control fees, Billing fees, Pet fees, utilities, etc are pretty much all the same as any apartment community Ive lived at, or looked at. Its Denver. Once you can accept that you are going to be paying about 1/2-3/5 of your income to live here no matter where you go, you will be much happier.Point of this; this apartment is not bad. There will be pros and cons with all apartment living, but I quite like it here.
Very nice people. Great location and it is what you make of it
Let’s say this is Apt was a WRONG choice to live at.The unit that we are living in is remodel and it’s looks ok. Before you go into our unit...the halls smells like old people nursing home. My boyfriend and I were looking for a place at last minute. I was in a different state when we lease this apt... So when I arrive.. I knew this place would be a huge Joke. there is nothing I can do now to get out of the lease. My boyfriend didn’t check the rating of this apt online. He was working long hours and was trying to hurry to find a place to live. So I can’t blame him. Let’s say that Next time I will pick where we will live at. LolIn my hall there is spaghetti sauce on the ceiling outside of my door. It look very trash. I am embarrass to bring any of my friends over. Also if you have furries like I do.. is the worst part of all, I think. Which we didn’t notice at first until that first night. We were watching tv show and had all the lights off and there is a huge light shining though the gap at the door. (All doors has gap) So basically my furries can’t relax since they HEAR everything in the halls. We never had that kind of issue at any of our old apts unless they knock on the door. This place you don’t even have to knock since they know you coming at the end of the other hall. I feel bad for my neighbors to have to hear all that.Another thing at this apt has is they have the WORST parking ever. Which I never had that kind of issue before. This apt, if you are not back by4-7 you are going to have to park on the other side of the building. That is a long walk when you have to carry groceries and dog food, etc. My boyfriend works 1-10ish pm. He always had to park at a different building. The laundry mat in my unit.... I did a load of laundry when I put them in the dryer.. it wouldn’t stay close long... so there was no way I could get my 1.50 back to use a different dryer. The next night I did another load and I put it in a different dryer.. the button to start was stuck.. wasted $$. The next week they put in all new sets of washer and dryer. This set of washer and dryer doesn’t take changes. You use a card and all time that you use it, will be put on your rent bill each month. I was ok with that. I was so happy... so I started a small load and Once it was finished I put the clothes in the dryer.. and guess what... the card wouldn’t work for the dryer.. for the 3rd time in one month. So used to having my own washer and dryer in my apt to a laundry mat in my unit that doesn’t even work to a actual laundry mat that does work is not what I had in mind. Now I have to take my actual clothes to a laundry mat. Yay.I hope it doesn’t get any worst than what I just went though... it’s cheap but not worth it. I would pay more to live some place else where my apt would actually smell nice when I come home and thick walls for my babies to be able to relax and not bark all day.👎🏻
This is the WORST place to live. The management is horrible. You place a maintenance order that takes weeks to get completed. we placed a maintenance order for missing window screen in the bedroom. it took 11 weeks to get the maintenance guy back after going back to the office to complain. There is bed bugs and Roaches all over the building. the management knows about it but still not doing any infestation mitigation in the building. the funny thing they act surprised that you mention it.
Terrible. Cockroaches. Loud neighbors. Rats. Stray cats urinating. Loud mechanical problems in laundry room. Machines smoking catching fire. I wrote a long review. Pages long. But accidently clicked the back button and all of it disappeared so now u get my short version review until i feel like retyping all this crap about how much this place sucks. Maintenance is a joke. Terrible and get nothing fixed. Avoid moving here. Much better newley built places in denver.
Hi Anthony,Thanks for the courtesy email. Unfortunately, my experience living at Cypress was by FAR, the worst apartment management team I have ever worked with. I hope I never need a reference from you guys.Your management, employees and over all team is great. I have no personality, or lack of professionalism complaints. Your policies are ridiculous. See below:1) You said I was late on rent payments TWICE!! When you had lost the check due to your inability to understand the concept of putting a safety deposit box into your door or window, that leads to the inside of your office. TO clarify bucause you tried to argue with me on this, not a deposit box you can rip off the outside wall, BUT one that looks like a mail slot for a door that no one from the outside can rip off... obviously... Your solution to this is to have people slide the check under you gym door if the person cannot arrive back at your office before 6pm and accommodate your schedules. This is ludicrous, and I am relatively certain illegal for you to do. I have reached out to my old boss who is an attorney to find this out.2) Your bill above has some ludicrous charges and reminds me of a story that 60 minutes just ran yesterday on non-profit Hospitals that charges extreme amounts for small, routine service. They are in the process of a class action law suite and, in my opinion, you will be soon. I neither have the time, need or want to pursue this with you guys, but good luck when it happens.3) In specific, a charge for $125 to repaint the walls that have been scuffed from my couch and chair. These totalled about 9 lines (I counted) in the bedroom and living room. I asked about them, I was advised by your staff to take a magic eraser to them and they would most likely just do the same. I, and looking back I would say stupidly, assumed you would do this. I should have done it myself and saved you all your troubles...For all these reason you were by far the absolute worse apartments I have ever, ever, ever rented from. I will post this on Google reviews and recommend anyone who is visiting the sight consider my apartment complex. As they are responsive, flexible, and dont charge ridiculous fees, like a $300 charge if youre 3 days late on your rent and serve you without physically serving people the bill. I dont know if this law functions under a different statue for residential law as opposed to criminal law, but I literally used to serve people their court summons (maybe that’s the differentiating factor) and bills and had to physically do it in person or I was legally required to bring the document back...Thanks for reading my email. In regards to your bill above. I was advised again, i swIar I should have recorded the BS you guys always told me to do, that you would automattically take it out of my safety deposit. IS this not accurate? is there not enough to pay your ludicrous fees? I would like to set up a call with you for a certain/exact time tomorrow to discuss this. As your lack of responsiveness to calls has lead me to think I will not be able to get a hold of you tomorrow. With total dissatisfaction in service,I Think this email I just sent summarizes in good detail why you should NOT live here unless you must for the cheap rent... I rec Arabella apartments, new management is great.Respectfully,A former unhappy Cypress point Resident
Bed bugs in some apartments. Roaches in all the apartments ive had thr extermenator out11 timees! No joke! We had some people move in and they brought a whole 3other families with them all living in o.e apartment piles of trash picked up eveey day by for maintenance guys they do their best to keep the place clean but these families that are living there literally had a stack of Complaint against them video of them throwing trash on the ground and now the rat infestation thats there in front of Building 9 has gotten so bad you cant even go outside at night it literally looks like the ground is moving weve told the front office on numerous occasions. It and yet nothing gets done I would highly recommend you not taking out your lease at this place the rent is too hard for what they provide. No one answers phones cheap job on remodeling. Rent seams to continue to rise for some reason and they blame it on utilitys. Once my lease is up im gone and im trying to find a way out sooner
Wow!!! Worst place to live.EVER. Water in shower scalds me at least once a week. Maintenance has checked it 4 times but amazingly it never seems to fluctate for them. Ever heard of regulators???. We have now started paying an additional fee that was never discussed. I had to just renew my lease and the office told me everyones lease went up the same percentage and that corporate was responsible, not them. Well I spoke to 6 other tenants, 6 different units and mine went up the most. But of course no one in offece wants to discuss because they arent corporate. Wow. Teamwork...NO. Now to the pool issue this weekend. We all pay for this amenity so Management needs to get the furniture out of the pool, (seriously left it in there all day yesterday! !!)clean it and open it back up. Dont punish the complex for those few kids that their parents cant seem to control. Will not be renewing here and as soon as a place opens for me elsewhere I will be gone. Get someone in the office that cares and takes ownership!!
BUGS BUGS BUGS!!! Absolutely would not reccomend this place to anyone!!!! Save your money people and rent somewhere else!
Dnt waste ur time or money...The new owners/mngmnt are the most evil, rude, greedy, disrespectful n Godless individuals in Denver....How are u going to evict families over your own mistakes?Because of your ignorance of how to manage and run an apartment complex, good rent paying families are being displaced....These people should be ashamed of themselves for treating people that way. Smh...To the owners, Please dnt reply to my review as fir I have never been a tenant there nor would I ever be. I know several residents there and I just wanted to say how completely appalled and angry I am over their business practices and their entire lack of humanity towards their own residents...
Moved out. Lived here for about 7 years....thats a long time. When I moved in I loved it for about 2 years... Current status? Laughable. Rent was raised 6 times while I lived here.Ended with paying almost 1,500/mo for a two bedroom, tho it was a month to month at the end there. ANCIENT two bedroom. All that stuff I posted about years ago? Never fixed it. To their benefit, I stopped asking the last two years. Years of asking for a screen or asking if they could paint a wall. Seven years of repeatedly asking them to fix the garbage disposal and them fixing it for it to die again the next day. Dishwasher didnt use once and every time I called they told me to pour a cup of water into it and run it and it will be fine.....it looked like pepper grounds in there. And yet, I felt very ignored. Where the other apartments were updated, mine was not as it was occupied. So rent goes up for hard wood floors and amenities, but no improvements were made...ohhh other than 4 new coats of paint to the buildings.Third owners, maybe four, since I have been there. Rats ate through my car wires twice, costing me 300 each time. Neighbor kids put their bike ON my car and have found neighbors playing in the back of my husbands truck. NO respect for property. Brand new car had about 14 colored dents on either side from being hit with car doors. Someone rammed into the back of my car in the parking lot and drove off after taking out my rear light and bumper... Kids threw basketballs against my car hood and ran away when I caught them... Had my OLD car found a mile down the road, as someone tried to steal it and it died on them. Someone took parts off of my neighbors also brand new truck. Prime chopshop area, I guess? I have a long list of police reports from people breaking into my car, stealing my car, damaging it. I have seen many smashed windows, but luckily none were mine. My neighbor had someone crawl in through her bedroom window. And I heard that a neighbor in building across had a man break into her house and was held at gunpoint. I dont know the girl myself nor if this is true. But I did know the one who had the guy crawl in her bedroom window in the middle of the night. Not a very safe area...not very good for your car. >>As for the rats, somewhere a mix between fancy rats and wild rats. Mutated heads and very very large. Eat through car wires worse than rabbit. :/ Costs a lot to fix every time. They tore out the bushes, but it didnt seem to help..Oh god, and the mill moths! As for the apartments current owner. They try... What can you do with an outdated building, a local chop shop, disrespectful tenants, and a thousand mutated rats? There was some ninja turtles things going on here for sure, but instead of heroes they were criminals! Hungry wire eating criminals!Would I live there again? No... Probably not. Too expensive on my vehicle.OLD REVIEW:When it was owned by Carmel this apartment complex was great, even with a few minor catastrophes and car thefts. You cant expect much form the neighborhood. The apartment however... I wish this new company cared about us as much as the old one. Pipes go all the time since its an old building and it takes minimum of three months to get fixed. Two years later I am still missing a screen from when a car drove THROUGH my apartment, likely just a freak accident. Every hole they left in my wall from broken pipes, four now, have never been painted and one still needs plastered. I dont know if they are short staffed, but it just doesnt seem to get done at all. The office staff takes pretty good notes, and yet still nothing. They have made minor changes such as pavement and a few new balconies on the really rotted out ones. I hear they replaced counters in some of the empty apartments... Slight attempts to pretty the outside and the siding. They also offer online bill pay, but it currently doesnt seem to work. I really loved living here and not sure what caused this huge downward spiral. The real issue as of late is them raising the rent by 150 without any improvements.
Nice renovation but people at front desk dont know how to put in work orders. When we first moved in i called a few things in at a time a few weeks spaced out. Only 1 item out of each call actually got a work order put in for it. Maintenance crew is great its the office that lacks accuracy and honesty. Went to leasing office because my bf got laid off so we wouldny have all of rent u til 3 days after the due date. Talked to her made a verbal agreement that if i paid it by the. She wouldnt charge late fees. Of course perfect exactly what i came in there for otherwise i wouldve gotten a week loan. Well turns out they dont have the power to do that and she never said that to me. So i guess im making up crap and thanked her that day for agreeing to follow protocol and charging me fees out the ass. No! I thanked her for giving me a chance to not have those fees but again im making that ip apparently smh. Ended up still owing 20 bucks after scrapping together the leftover rent plus the 160 in extra charges. No grocery money for us. Thanks for nothing.
Management in the office is horrible and very unintelligent. Having to deal with these morons in my life is a complete joke. Do not waste your time here.
I left Cypress on 24th Nov 2015 and its been more than a month now and I have not got my deposit check yet. I ringed office but no one picks up a phone.
Wish I could give 0 stars. Apartments are okay but management is TERRIBLE. Please dont just ignore this, they cheat you and charge exorbitant fees for failing to mention information such as HOW TO PAY YOUR RENT. They tell you nothing and expect you to call in to make sense of why you dont get bills and why their online payment system isnt working. Within weeks of move-in the maintenance guy straight up told me they steal your deposit and make up bogus charges to not give it back. Horrible, wish I never rented from here. DO NOT MOVE HERE, IT IS THE WORST.
For what you are paying, you could do much better in the area. The staff are rude and incompetent, the facilities are minimal, and the people living there are loud, rude, and tend to have random screaming matches outside and let their dogs run around off leash.
Moldy, infested, office lies, and I could go on for days about how no one should ever move in here. Just run away as fast as you can.
They never pick up the phone at the office
The Worst place Ever. They got Rats ants and roaches the Staff are lazy and never get nothing done.
Do not apply here, they will rip you off and take your money .They lied to us and took close to 300 dollars . The manager the one with red hair is a racist and rude lady . Stay away from place .
DO NOT RENT HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT RENT HERE. THESE PEOPLE SAY THEY SEND YOU A UTILITY BILL TO YOUR FORWARDING ADDRESS AND INSTEAD SEND YOU TO COLLECTIONS WHICH RUINS YOUR CREDIT!!!!!! HORRIBLE PLACE AND WORSE THEIR STAFF ARE RUDE!!!!
