Amazing place to live! We moved to Denver from Wisconsin and looked at dozens of other properties. Denizen apartments have the best apartments, best amenities, and best location. The office staff and maintenance team are incredibly attentive and lovely individuals. Would highly recommend choose Denizen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My partner and I moved cross country and fell in love with Denizen Apartments! We spent a weekend touring different properties in the Denver area and this one really felt like home.Jessica, the property manager kept in touch via email and coordinated with us for a couple weeks before we came out to CO so she could personally do a walk through of the property with us! The property is modern and industrial- there’s even a coffee bar where young professionals gather in the common space in the mornings and weekends. (Coffees actually good!) The location to the light rail is unmatched- it literally takes you anywhere in Denver! It’s a perfect community for people relocating to the Denver area. Jessica was so helpful by accommodating us and communicating through the whole process. We ended up signing a 15 month lease and love it here! The grounds are immaculate, residents are caring and responsible. Can’t wait for summer nights socializing on the sky decks and meeting more people in our community.

From the first call we ever made, Walker has always been so responsive and professional on any questions we asked. We lived in too small of an apartment and with his help we were able to transfer quickly and efficiently to meet our needs. The whole staff is so warm and welcoming as well. They are always making sure you are taken care of. I highly recommend this complex.

Was searching for an apartment for a client to move into rather quickly in the Broadway area. Denizen was one of five complexes that I toured and by far the best suited for my client. Walker was very informative and I never felt rushed through the tour of the apartments and the complex like I did with a few others. The amenities included are amazing and the upbeat atmosphere is felt throughout. They were also the only ones that followed up with me after the tour to see if they could provide any additional information. Needless to say I highly recommended them to my client, we were able to squeeze in for another tour and he agreed it was the best choice. I will definitely be recommending Denizen to other clients.

Nothing but positive things to say about moving into the Denizen. Andrea from the leasing team made the process of signing my lease as smooth as possible, answering my questions in a very timely manner. From day one as a resident, the staff have been very helpful and do their best to create a friendly environment for the tenants. Both Tony and Walker have been extremely helpful. I went through a very difficult financial patch and they were more than understanding in terms of working with me. The team at Denizen goes above and beyond to say the least. I couldn’t recommend a more welcoming and amazing community to live at. Matienence is quick and always does a good job.Big fan of the online resident portal too.Love my townhouse unit, all the features are modern and work well. The community patio is my favorite space here.Community wise, so many connections are formed with neighbors, fellow dog owners and I love the events put on. This is the place to live. No joke. Best apartment complex in Colorado. Andrea was so helpful with my move in. The rest of the Denizen staff is amazing! The hallways are always so fresh and so clean clean. It has a gym, mail room, pool table, shuffle board, patio, fire pit, and online rent pay/maintenance requests. I barely hear my neighbors. Quiet, peaceful, and friendly community! What more could you ask for?

Andrea and Tony were incredibly accommodating of my three requested tours to get a better feel for the floor plans. And, they were incredibly responsive to all of my questions via email. The staff is super friendly, the buildings are beautiful and meticulously kept, and the amenities are insane! Cant wait to move in and get to know the community!

We just re-signed our lease for a second year. We LOVE it here. Never have we been a part of community that cares so much for its residents. Work orders are fulfilled super quickly, the amenities are excellent, and the location cant be beat! We moved from Philly and often felt unsafe in our apartment there. NOT the case here! We are lucky to have regular patrols and a front desk staff that are excellent at keeping us safe. Special thanks and a huge shoutout to Tony! You do a great job of keeping our community safe and making all of us feel so welcome. We DEFINITELY recommend living here!!

The weight room has everything I need and the location is incredible with the light rail, Safeway/Sams and the bars on S Broadway so close. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the community events they set up are fun and well planned.

Walker did an incredible job giving me a tour and showed me around. I already know I will be able to trust the Denzien staff. I used to be in property management/leasing and Walker genuinely impressed me.

We will sadly be moving out and leaving what has been our home for over 4 years. Living here has been a blessing. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here in the community lounge amongst many other memories. The staff has always gone above and beyond to help out even in a crisis. This summer our AC unit went out during the heatwave and Sarah (manager) stayed after hours to make sure we got a portable unit until the repairs could be made. Walker is always on top of answering questions and addressing needs. Maintenance has always been quick and responsive.Love having the outdoor fire pit area during this pandemic which allows for social distanced hangouts with friends. Location is awesome! Highly recommend living here!

Crashed with some friends. I loved the layout and the carpet, the proximity to dispensaries and snacks. The water tasted real nice.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time living at Denizen. It was always kept extremely clean and the whole staff was super professional & went above & beyond to get to know the residents. Also a big plus was living right off the light rail.. you could make it to union station or even DIA with no hassle. 10/10

I have lived in a one bedroom apartment at the Denizen for the last 2+ years. We are moving out at the end of the month to move into a new home and I will miss this place. I would suggest this apartment to any friends looking for rent in Denver, especially if rail access is important.Living here is great for a couple of reasons:1. 10 Feet from the RTD Alameda Station. I use the train to get to work and on weekends to go downtown. There are not many other apartments with such easy access to the light rail as the Denizen.2. Walking distance to grocery store, bars and restaurants on Broadway, Washington Park, and the historic s Baker district which is always fun to run/walk through.3. The staff here is very respectful, nice, helpful, and understanding. Every interaction I have ever had with staff including maintenance and management has been great.4. Our apartment is nice. The layout, balcony, views, and appliances have worked great for us.

WOW...the Denizon apartment complex has an extra room available for guests! I cannot state how incredible the staff were and the accomodations they had for us to stay while visiting our family! The extra bedroom and living space helped our family be able to spend time together in the same place. The apartment was cozy and very well furnished. It was also extremely clean and the process was so easy to get checked in. I HIGHLY recommend this apartment complex because of the staff and cleanliness on a rent basis but also when visiting someone who lives there and the accomodations they provided were amazing!!!!

Absolutely love the location, staff, and amenities at the Denizen. They have done everything from organize complex wide events to deliver bed frames all the way up to my door! Constant communication through the Facebook group, a very secure building, and low utility bills thanks to a Platinum LEAD certification are all reasons to consider. Well done yall!!!Do wish we had a pool.

I LOOOVE living at Denizen!I moved here from the Sunshine State last summer and chose Denizen based on reviews. Mind you, this is coming from someone who probably wouldn’t entertain the idea of a blind date let alone do something crazy like move halfway across the country to an apartment I’ve never seen before. So, read on, folks.After calling this place home for almost a year, I’m happy to report that I couldn’t have chosen a better community and location. Denizen is nestled mere steps from the light rail, a few more steps from grocery stores, and a bit more—err, but not too many—steps from a plethora of South Broadway shops, bars, and restaurants. Beyond that, the units are some of the nicest and cleanest I’ve ever seen. And, as an added bonus, the new Community Manager (Sarah Park) really takes this place to another level with her kindness and professionalism.So, if you like a walkable neighborhood, free coffee, ample dogs to pet, fun neighbors, and the most friendly and attentive front desk staff you’ll ever meet, then cancel your other apartment tours. Denizen is your 10/10!

This was the first place I looked at when moving here and I loved it from the get go. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. They are quick to respond emails and the maintenance staff get things done in a timely manner. The location cannot be beat with a lot of restaurants and bars walkable. The light rail is in your back yard and you can easily go to Union Station to explore. Only reason I am moving is due to my job. This has easily been my favorite place to live. Highly recommend!

Denizen was hands down the best community Ive lived in. First, youve got GREAT restaurants, bars, a liquor store, a grocery store, and the light rail station all within 10 minutes walking from the building. Second, the apartments are almost new and have modern & attractive trims, appliances, floors, etc. The amenities are all very nice and unlike most of the places Ive lived, people actually use them. The pocket park is the perfect place to hang out with all of the great residents and watch your pup play (my dachshund certainly misses it).Lastly (and maybe most importantly), you couldnt ask for a better staff. From the first tour I took to the time I had to move out, the team was very friendly, professional, and helpful with any issues I had. Scott was on top of any maintenance issues, JJ went above and beyond one month when I was having problems with my bank, Elise was always extremely friendly and helpful whenever I went in (and nicer, if thats possible to my dog), Melissa even went so far as to give me her spare Halloween pumpkin when I mentioned not having time to pick one up.I wish circumstances would have allowed me to stay, 10/10 would recommend.

Living here has been the absolute best apartment experience I have ever had. From the day I moved in, I knew this place was special, and I am more convinced every day since.The staff is incredibly competent, and always willing to address any concerns, without delay. Some staff have moved on, but to promotions within their company, which speaks volumes about the management group.Elise, Colleen, and Walker are the people Ive dealt with the most, and Ive never been disappointed with any interaction with them.I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a great living experience.

I have no complaints. The staff here are awesome, the facilities are nice, the location is convenient, and did I mention that the staff are awesome?When I was looking for apartments in Denver, I noticed their high rating and was blown away thinking, even the good apartments Ive lived in havent been above 3.9 on google. I should go and find out. After 3 months of living here I can tell you they deserve the high rating. Im very pleased.

10/10 would recommend. Prior to moving to Denver, we toured way too many apartments before we toured Denizen and knew that it would be our choice of home. The entire team of people that work here are wonderful and great to talk to. Denizen is insanely dog friendly and our dog has loved living here as well. The only reason were moving is because weve purchased a home. If we hadnt, we definitely wouldve renewed our lease here!

This community is the best! Everything is clean and well taken care of. My unit is larger than expected and was in perfect condition when I moved in. The staff is very helpful and responsive.I was very stressed about my move and called several times to set up deliveries and learn about the policies of this building. Walker and Nicole were a HUGE help. Not only were they responsive, and understanding, they went out of their way to make this move easier on me. I am from Denver and have lived all over the city; I have yet to find a place with a staff that cares about the comfort of their residents as much as this one.Update:This really is a fantastic place to live, especially if you are a dog lover. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facilities stay clean, and maintenance is top notch. Colleen and Elise are amazing. They make you feel so welcome and their doors are always open. This place really feels like a home thanks to them and their staff.

Amazing place to live & AWESOME staff!! This was third apartment in Denver and completely altered my opinion of how an apartment complex should operate. Any issue with my apartment, the staff was quick to act and were happy to go the extra mile to make sure each and every one of their residents were satisfied. Extremely easy to travel Downtown via light rail, walk Broadway or enjoy Washington Park. This apt was in a perfect location for anyone looking to explore Denver and also have the ability to get away from the loud downtown. Ill miss living here and thanks again to everyone at the Denizen. TWO of my bikes were stolen from the Denizen property. When I reported it to management I was told that they haven’t had video surveillance for weeks and there was nothing they could do for me. This complex is not safe as there are always people roaming around especially at night and the hired security guard sits behind a desk for his entire shift. Parking is awful, management is unhelpful, and if I were a woman living alone I would NOT live here.

I love Denizen. The management team is fantastic - they work so hard, they are always helpful, and they are so good at really connecting with people. At Denizen there is actually a community feel living here -- something I think many apartment complexes strive for but fall short on. Cant say enough good things about Denizen and the amazing management staff!

There is no way to detail just how much I have enjoyed the total experience of living at the Denizen. From my first contact with the management team on property it felt like home. Every member of the staff is amazing, they simply are the best. They made a very difficult move from out of state, as easy as it could be. I would recommend this property, and its team without reservation.

I have lived here for nearly 4 months and love it so far! The location is super convenient to South Broadway and the light rail. Plus, the staff is wonderful as they are always friendly and willing to help in any way they can!

After almost three years of living at Denizen, my husband and I are moving on to our first (purchased) home. Weve both felt Denizen has been an incredible home to us for the last several years. Living by the train is incredibly convenient, Broadway is a short walk away with great restaurants, and most importantly the people are fabulous. Ive never experienced better management - the whole staff is responsive, professional, and downright wonderful human beings.

Denizen is AWESOME!!!! My wife and I absolutely love living here. Its definitely a little pricey and slightly exceeded our budget, but we have no regrets. We love our apartment and we utilize the gym and sky decks regularly. We have also met some really cool people in our building that we hang out with and the staff is always so nice and welcoming. Walker helped us move to our apartment and made the transition a breeze. We have had two minor issues that required maintenance and things were fixed immediately. There is always at least one person downstairs at the desk to help or answer any questions - so far I have spoken with James and Colleen and both are always super friendly and helpful.

By far the best management and maintenance team of any apartment building I’ve lived in. They’re attentive and make the place feel like home. I love the location, natural light, and brand new fixtures in the apartments. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Couldn’t ask for a better place to live. You cannot beat the amenities, location, and staff. The complex is extremely clean and maintained. I truly feel at home which means so much.If you want to find a place that is in walking distance of grocery stores, yummy restaurants, and the light rail. Plus has a great gym, dog washing station, car washing station, bike storage and fixing workbench, coffee bar, storage units, garden plots, and so much more definitely come to the Denizen.

Editing my original post from 5 stars to 3.Lived here for 1.5 years.Good:Location is great and if you use the light rail it’s so convenient. If you have an apartment facing the mountains the view is amazing.I had no noise issues but I do know others who lived on lower floors could hear all the movements of those above them.Free coffee and tea, outdoor fire pits, dog wash and car wash.The maintenance team was awesome and fast.Okay:Rent prices are high for what you get.Gym is often crowded and machines break from time to time.Management changed often. When I first moved in packages were brought to your door which was a nice touch, then slowly that stopped and you had to retrieve your packages and I’ve had items be misplaced or lost because keeping track of them is difficult.Bad:Elevators broke no less than 6 times while I lived here and I lived on the top floor.Party atmosphere seems to be encouraged and often find vomit or trash somewhere and once on the door to the building and it wasn’t cleaned for days.Constant emails about the following: dog pee or poop, parking in the fire lane, vague incidents involving the police, and the yearly ski trip.The dog area is pretty gross but there is no other area to let your dog loose. All of the green areas say you will be fined for using. People disregard that and it’s not enforced.The building is very open and there are often homeless people on the grounds or in the area. They have security guards at night but not every night and not all the time. Thefts were occurring frequently.I moved here sight unseen and the move in process was good. However they do not let you tour the apartment you are moving into which is the first time I’d ever heard of that. Move out was less so and you have to arrange for your own garbage removal for furniture. None of that info was provided or discussed ahead of that time despite asking for guidance.They also offered incentives for leaving reviews right when you move in. So that may account for the high ratings. Overall unless you live in the top floor, face the mountains, and commute via the light rail, I’d pick another place.

Me and my husband come on Thursday. We are not live here but I want say thank you Nicole you are best. She is very helpful,she give us tour two units. It is nice units. Denizen has everything you need. New gym. Nice rest area. In each units even if is small has washer and dryer. Clean inside and outside. I hope we back in spring and will be leave in this community.☺️

Denizen was a great apartment complex to call home for two years. The management and maintenance staff were always friendly and helpful. Denizen was in a great location with easy access to the light rail and the Baker neighborhood. The price of rent at Denizen is worth it because of the location, the public transportation options, proximity to shopping, restaurants, and bars, the excellent amenities in the building and apartments, and shared common spaces.

I love calling Denizen home! The location is great for heading downtown on the light rail or checking out bars and restaurants on Broadway. We love grilling out on the amenity deck while watching the sunset behind the mountains. They have a great sense of community here. You feel like you know all of your neighbors. Well for sure be staying here for awhile.

Hello - I have not yet moved in, however wanted to share my experience so far. I have been working with Walker and he has been super responsive and super amazing about answering my 5 million questions. I am relocating from out of state and have been hunting for a place to live for what feels like ages. I immediately felt relieved when I stumbled across Denizen and started the inquiry process. The level of customer service I have received so far has been outstanding and I am very excited for an amazing experience upon my move in. Moving out of state is very intimidating and stressful and with the help of Walker, I feel as though a lot of that stress was alleviated. Thanks so much for everything!!

I cant possibly say enough wonderful comments about Denizen and the people that Cardinal Group has chosen to employ here. The management/leasing team at Denizen seem to have made it their daily duty to make myself and everyone lucky enough to live here to feel at home. Every time I walk by I am always greeted with a welcoming smile and friendly conversation. My dog has even gotten to the point where he whines every 15 minutes to go out because he knows every time he goes downstairs he is flooded with hugs and kisses, as if he doesnt get enough at home. Here at Denizen there is just a sense of comradery and togetherness, never have I seen so many happy and welcoming faces greet each other on a daily basis. That dynamic can certainly be attributed to the energy that the management/leasing team exudes. I wish I could say that the great amenities, the happy hours and the incredible location just a short walk to great bars along S Broadway and the Alameda Light Rail station being a mere 30 steps from the building are the reasons why I have continued to resign my lease. While those are excellent reasons to continue to resign, it is in fact the unbelievable staff that make me want to continue to live here. I have never lived in a building where it truly felt like a community. I have never lived in a building where the staff genuinely cared about their residents and treated them like family. I consider many of the staff members to be close friends and I know those friendships will continue long after I eventually move out. Feeling welcomed and feeling at home is something you just can’t put a price on.

I have LOVED living at the Denizen!! Everyone is so friendly especially the employees of the complex. On top of planning community events, they work hard to keep the building clean and secure. They welcome you by name daily and genuinely care about the people of the Denizen. I would definitely recommend these apartments!

I absolutely love living here! Moved back in October and cannot think of a reason that would make me leave anytime soon. The location is amazing, best staff Ive ever encountered, and everyone is so incredibly friendly. Ive never seen anything like it before to be honest, and didnt think it was possible nowadays. My view of the mountains is breathtaking and the convenience of the light rail cannot be beat. Highly recommended!

The amenities and units here are new, clean, up to date! This location is ideal - minutes away from South Broadway where there is tons to do! My fiance and I have been living here for over a year now and love Denizen. The apartments are brand new and come with brand new appliances. The staff rocks and so do our neighbors. Having the light rail right next door is super convenient as well. Would suggest this place to anyone but especially to young professionals.

I just moved after 2+ years at Denizen. It was hands down the best experience I have had renting. The building/units/amenities are in great shape, the office staff are extremely friendly and responsive, they regularly hold free social events for residents, and the maintenance staff addresses issues quickly. The location is fantastic. When I wanted to get out of my lease early so I could buy a home, the staff went out of their way to fill the apartment quickly so I was not on the hook for 2 full months rent for breaking the lease. They could have let it sit empty for two months making easy money off of me, but I ended up paying for the apartment to be empty for just 10 days, which saved me over $2,000 on the early move out fee.

Ive just recently my second lease with this building and I couldnt be happier! Elise and the front office staff are amazing. With plenty of dogs in the building its easy to find a playmate for your little pup. The area is stocked with restaurants, bars and shopping all within walking distance. There are big plans for this area to be even better in the coming years and thats something I look forward to.

I love living at Denizen. Great location right next to the light rail and South Broadway. Great apartments that are nearly brand new. Great value for what you pay. Better yet are the people and community. Most people know each others names (or at least their dogs) and the office team knows you and will bend over backwards to help you. Dont hesitate to move in.

Denizen is a great apartment, Not simply because of its location or its appliances. It has what you would expect for a modern apartment built 3 to 6 years ago. It is a great apartment for 2 things. The buildings design and its amazing staff. What denizen has compared to other apartments is the interaction you have with the staff everyday and how the buildings design in a way forces you to talk to their employees. You end up really getting to know them and becoming friends. Talking to them when they host an event with free food and free drinks. They are also really friendly to dogs! My dog Rocco will miss going down stairs to say hello and get treats. I already know everyone there will miss him!I would still like to do the cons even though I love denizen. The gym is ok, At time it can be crowded, It does feel like it is missing a few machines that would be nice. If you have noisy upstairs neighbors you will hear them. You will hear them stomp all over the place it can be quite annoying and if they get up in the middle of the night it can wake you up. Other then that denizen is amazing.Other apartments should really look at what denizen does. Simply having the building designed so you have to interact with the staff is something that made it special. I will really miss being at denizen. It was an amazing 2 years. Thank you for everyone who I talked to and became friends with. I will miss denizen and hold every other apartment to their standard.

I have some friends who have lived here since the complex opened, so Ive visited quite a few times now...and absolutely love the place!! If I didnt own, I would no doubt make this my home. Ive also stayed in the guest suite a couple of times, which I didnt realize apartments even offered amenities like this. The office staff are amazing and unbelievably accommodating. I dont recall the last time I felt so at home other than my own home. Highly recommend!!!

Apartments are modern and well built. I rarely hear my neighbors. Building is well maintained and full of friendly, generally respectful residents. Office staff is awesome, proactive, and put together a lot of events for the residents to interact as a community.

Denizen is just the best place to live.After my better half received a job offer to move from sunny San Diego to (turns out) even sunnier Denver we had to act fast to find a new apartment in a city we didnt know. Honestly, the website sold me on the property and we moved in after processing the lease with Samantha through email. She was very quick to respond and helped us secure the amazing apartment we have.Its excellent and I cannot recommend it high enough.

Love living at Denizen. Location is ideal. Close enough to the city minus the traffic headache. The layouts of the apartments utilize every square inch. Spacious bathrooms. Front office and maintenance are always working to make the place better and fix issues promptly. Plenty of eateries and shopping within walking distance. They work hard to keep the buildings secure and they are continuing the efforts to improve security further. I love that we are off of the main street bc it feels more like a little secluded community. The only amenity that Denizen lacks is a pool. But if I had the option to stay at Denizen or move to a place with a pool, Id stay at Denizen.

Denizen is the best! Its within close proximity to public transportation and walking distance to markets, other shops, restaurants, etc. The on-site staff earns an A++++ in customer service; there are so many amenities; its a beautiful facility, and its dog-friendly with a dog spa and dog park in the back. I could go on and on....

I will be honest, I have only lived in this place for a week but within this week I have had probably the best living experience of my life. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and nice, including the other residents in my building. If I ever have a concern it was immediately attended to. I have a insanely terrible dust mite allergy and since moving into the apartment I have experienced no symptoms and am currently weening off of my allergy medication. The place is beautiful, well kept, and seems like it was purely designed to help the residents and make sure everyone is happy. Denver is an expensive area and this place is no different but I can confidently say that this is 100% worth the move.

Great place to call home. Great staff, amenities are pretty good, and location is great in Denver. I have been here for a couple of years now and have enjoyed my stay.

Every place Ive ever lived I always had concerns/complaints, often minor ones, about the apartment. Denizen is the first place Ive lived that felt like Ive never had to worry about anything at all. All of my concerns are addressed promptly, and the peace of mind knowing the staff is always on it, no matter what, is incredible.EDIT: I just wanted to give props to the Denizen. They handled a rather delicate situation on my behalf with great care, consideration and effectiveness. The staff here is truly the kind to go above and beyond for their residents and I just wanted to update my review to reflect my gratitude for them.

Vibes are really friendly for an apartment community.Amenities are cared for by the community and staff well.Staff are very helpful, responsive, and kind.Location??? Ill put it this way. My truck battery died and I didnt replace it for three weeks.Solid place to live!

I moved into the Denizen when it first opened, and within just a few days, it truly felt like home. Every single one of the Denizen team members cares about the residents and does all they can to make you feel valued and appreciated. The most important thing to me in looking for a place to live is security. The Denizen team always ensured the buildings were secure (key fob to access every building), and I felt safe in my own apartment the entire time I lived there. I got to know the security staff quite well, as I often worked late and would come in while they were doing their rounds. Knowing there was someone there at all hours made me feel so much better about living alone and working late nights.Anytime there was an issue, maintenance was on it without hesitation. Everyones happy to help and so kind, no matter the situation. You can tell they love what they do. Elise, the marketing and leasing manager, is by far the most generous and selfless person I have ever met. She goes above and beyond to make every resident feel welcomed and loved. I don’t think I’ll ever live somewhere with a manager as wonderful as her! The Denizen is what it is because of her dedication.I feel extremely grateful to have lived here for two years, and I cant recommend it (or say thank you) enough.

Hands down best apartment complex Ive lived in. The property is essentially brand new, the price is reasonable, and everyone on staff generally cares about their residents. Its also a perfect location.Definitely recommend living here

Elise, JJ, and the entire Denizen team are extremely welcoming and helpful. The complex is a tight knit community that is always able to offer a helping hand. The apartment homes and very nice, modern, durable, and clean. The location is central and parking is not a problem. Would recommend to anyone.

I love living at Denizen. The location cant be beat, the facility is well maintained, the community is fantastic and above all else the staff are superb. They go out of their way to make sure our community is thriving, everyone is taken care of, and we feel safe.

Lived there for two full year and I can attest to the fact that this property is managed and maintained by a super talented team of people who actually care about the residents. Ive rented my whole life and cant think of a time where I felt like praising the management and maintenance staff. The property is new and modern, location is amazing (bars and cafes on S Broadway and the Alameda ligth rail station are just a stone throw away) and the residents are friendly. What more do you need?

Ive lived here for almost a year now and it is amazing. The building is brand new and beautiful. The location right next to the light rail stop makes getting to my job downtown a breeze every morning without fighting traffic, and easy access to the freeway (if/when the road construction is ever completed) make weekend mountain getaways slightly less of a chore. I can measure how long it takes maintenance requests to be completed in hours, not days. The best part of living here is the people, though. Ive had a couple of surgeries in the past year, and the leasing agents are always checking to make sure that Im okay or offering help or advice when I need it. There is also a resident facebook group where we plan events and trade furniture and outdoor gear. The sense of community is something I didnt think could exist this close to downtown. Again, this is a great place to live. I almost dont even want to post this review because I dont want too many people to find out about it and drive up my rent...

I moved in on July 1st and my experience so far has been amazing! Everyone in the office has been nothing short of extremely helpful, friendly! and professional. The buildings and grounds are always well kept and any maintenance issues are handled very promptly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I signed a 13 month lease and already feel like I want the sign for another 13!......I also want to add that this complex has the absolute best maintenance staff Ive experienced and Ive lived in apartments my entire life. Every issue Ive had has been addressed promptly and with the utmost efficiency.

This community is amazing--the residents and staff make it worthwhile to live here. Denizen has amenities that are actually useful and not just for show. The fitness center equipment is gym quality and includes everything you need. The coffee station and game room is the perfect hangout for friends and family but is never too crowded or turned into a party zone. As a graduate student, I was especially pleased with the separate conference room space especially during projects and finals. This apartment community really feels more like a home than anywhere Ive lived before. Everybody is professional, courteous, and respectful of one anothers living space and yet always welcoming (especially for doggy play dates). Residents even let one anothers pets out if needed because thats how nice everybody here is. The security at night is very comforting and the guards go above and beyond to make you feel safe.The neighborhood also deserves a shout out. Not only are you connected to the light rail/bus stops and can get anywhere, anytime (which I use to get to the airport all the time), but south Broadway has every type of restaurant and storefront you could ask for. I cannot recommend living here enough--the front office, maintenance, and security staff are the best. I cannot recommend living here enough.

I submitted an application to sign a lease back on Memorial Day weekend and then decided to cancel and requested my funds to be returned. It has been nearly a month and I still have not been returned my application holding deposit. I spoke to a manager on 6/25 and she told me that it was customary for them to take 30 days to process refunds due to how their business is structured. Their parent company (The Cardinal Group) is literally down the street from them, so I find it hard to believe that that is the honest truth (if it were why was I now hearing about it, almost 30 days after the time I initially made my request). I am literally having to go through the process of taking them to small claims court. If you try calling their parent company they dont even answer the phone. I have tried contacting persons directly through LinkedIn and have left voicemails and no one from the Cardinal Group has returned my calls.
