I’ve been living here at LBJ since February and don’t have a single negative thing to say. Management is super helpful, and they spend their own time to give out free drinks and burritos occasionally to promote the great community culture. The apartment I got was everything I wanted and plus they’re now implementing a better more convenient trash valet system where they come pick up your trash most nights out of the week rather than the three mornings they had prior. Just a pleasant experience all around. Would highly recommend.
Really love living at LBJ Station! The new maintenance guys Bud and Jamal are amazing. Their very prompt and always on time to get your work orders completed. Love living here because of these guys!
I leased for 12 months at LBJ station and hadn’t had to many issues until towards the end. Other than poor maintenance responsiveness and unfriendly leasing staff. When I moved out I left an item behind in my unit, when I called the office Michael assured me that it would be held for me in the office until I could come pick it up along with a package that had been mailed to me. Yesterday I called to let them know that I would be on my way and Courtney confirmed that they would be there waiting for me when I arrived. A few minutes later I got a call back from Michael saying that he had accidentally placed the item near the trash and housekeeping had thrown it away... Needless to say this was extremely frustrating because I had double and triple checked that it would be held safely with them. Cortney and Vanessa (the new manager) both said that there was nothing that they could do because it was an accident, I was never even offered an apology. Now I am left to pay out of pocket to replace the item due the carelessness and irresponsible nature of the leasing staff. I’m very disappointed in the lack of communication and basic human empathy these people have. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and dependable place to lease, this is not the one for you.
I have been living at LBJ Station for 2 years and these are my pros and cons.Pros:-complex is recently built-love concrete floor aesthetic, high ceilings, light fixtures, pool, common areas, and gym-recently introduced gates being able to open with an app-valet trash has become more stream lined and consistent-affordable pricing for location-fob keys for your front door entereance-lots of people with kids here so it really gives you that safe community feel during the daytime-responsive to maintenance requestsCons:-If you try to pay rent with a credit card to get rewards, they charge you 3-3.5% which in my case is almost $40.00-the apartment’s cleanliness has gone down significantly in stair cases and hallways-walls are paper thin. so paper thin that I know all my neighbors nasty time routines. so paper thin that I hear my next door neighbors 7am alarm every single morning go off for 20 minutes bc they dont wake up to turn it off-no guest parking. guests have to park outside the gates which is not the safest area. I have seen multiple cars get completely wrecked by hit and runs by negligent drivers-the surrounding area is very sketchy. the car gates tend to break down often which allow nonresidents in. Ive encountered a very drugged homeless couple by the pool that wouldnt stop harassing my friends and I and a battered homeless woman by the mailbox room-they got rid of their onsite security guard which was a great addition to the complex. they now have a security team that drives by at night or addresses complaints but they do take a while to show up since they are not on siteOutages:-we did not have electricity for a couple days when he tornado hit in October 2019 or for a week during the February 2021 snowstorm. Dont think this is necessary something that the complex can control. Just letting you know what to expect during unprecedented weather.Staff:management staff is hit or miss. Sometimes they are very helpful and kind other times they are dry and dont seem like they even want you talking to themmaintenance staff is very knowledgeable, fast, and friendly
I received very great service from Jamal and Bud. They came be fixed my sink the same day. Overall I think they we very professional and outstanding.
Some of the tenants, including myself have left to stay elsewhere due to the power being out. Can a leasing agent please let the tenants that aren’t still there let us know if the power is back or not via email or phone call? Nobody is answering emails or returning phone calls to update.
Nicely made apartments but wouldn’t recommend if you’re the type of person who always enjoys having friends and family over. My brother who lives two hours away took on a 3 day job here in Dallas and decided to visit me while he was up here for the first time because he never seen my apartment. When he went back outside his truck was gone. We called almost every towing service in Dallas and they had no record of his truck. We also called DPD to report a stolen truck and it was still no record of a towing service to have picked it up. I understand that if someone is going to steal something they are going to steal something REGARDLESS but I feel like things like this could POSSIBLY be avoided if LBJ Station provided a “guest parking” for the guests of the residents who stay there instead of them having really no other choice but to park on the side of the road in a sketchy neighborhood... you see plenty of homeless people walking up and down the street of vantage point to the hotel nearby and at night time its even worse. Also not to mention that there are no cameras in the neighborhood that shows the street view, not even at the hotel or restaurants nearby nor Lbj Station or the other apartment complex nearby. Nice looking apartment complexes but my guests shouldn’t have to worry about going outside and they’re belongings being gone especially not their ENTIRE VEHICLE!!! Also Lbj station provided residents with a number to call for non-medical assistance BEFORE & AFTER business hours and I called the number given 10+ times and no answer or no call back. I’m highly disappointed in the lack of security for such high priced apartments!
These apartments are so beautiful and peaceful. I’m so happy I decided to move here! The management in the leasing office is absolutely amazing. Courtni is always only a phone call away, and the move in specials are reflective of what you’ll really pay. All new amenities and super easy process from applying to signing the lease to moving in!
Dont visit family or friends here. Went to drop off kids for my brother went up for 5 min and vechile was towed. I parked in a open spot with no covering and no reserved parking. Management must be horrible.
In the middle of the texas winter storm the apartment complex has abandoned us. the entire complex has been without electricity for over 70 hours and all they did was send a couple of emails. Everyone else is on a outage rotation but for us its just been continuous and there is NO ONE sending updates or doing anything about the state of things. They dobt care. Theres a ton of fake reviews here btw so look out.
One of the worst experiences Ive ever had with an apartment complex! Started off nice looks super nice. Its when you move in the trouble starts to happen our cars being broken into constantly smells like weed staff acts like they just dont care. Being threatened to be fined about our trash being out on the wrong days when they dont pick up trash when they are supposed to. You will hear gunshots frequently all around not a safe place. If you are thinking of moving i would highly suggest a different place. If I could give 0 stars I definitely would.
I have lived here a year now. I absolutely love this property and Management, Cortney makes it even better! Great place to live. I highly recommend this community. Go see Cortney, keep up the great work LBJ!
The experience that I have had at LBJ Station has been a marvelous one. From the time I walked in the office to speak to the leasing Manager, Courtney was very nice and approachable made the process of applying very simple and fast. Great Amenities and upgrades to the apartment units and prices are really good. I left my last place that was no were near as nice trying to charge me $1200, so I came here and must say I am saving and the experience has made the moving process very easy FYI I HATE MOVING.Great Place and the Manager Courtney is the best who ever hired him has a great eye for Professionalism.
Really disappointed. The quality of the apartment complex and the office management has decreased significantly. So happy I left.
I really like these apartments! Ive been here for about 6months.Pros:-Love how they set up the bathroom with a light around a huge mirror and the kitchen is designed nicely too-Nice exterior decoration/aesthetic. My last apartments were dark and dingy-Friendly and fast customer service. I asked the office to get my package from my door and put it in the office and they were very nice about it-Rent in a two bedroom is a good price. Since it is a newer community, I was expecting rent to be high, but its even less than I was paying at my old apartments and better quality.-AC/Heat always works - no issues-No plumbing issues-High ceilings are niceCons:-Parking is a hassle occasionally. If youre coming home after 11PM, youll have to park very far away since nothings available. I wish they had designed it to have more spots and not have to drive the whole way around to get to the other side. You can pay for a garage/covered spot but too much $$$-Guests have to park outside the community or theyll get towed. Kind of annoying that my guests have to walk all the way from outside the apartments and I meet them at the gate to let them in.-No elevators, only stairs-The surrounding area is kinda funky - I frequently see homeless people walking around and asking for money on the road medians.
I love LBJ very good community to stay.. Everyone friendly and Very Awesome Staff!! Courtney is very professional and always handing any issues fast with great customer service I been in this community over a year.. So if u want to lease here they have a great staff ❤️❤️
I’ve been a resident 16 months now, currently on 2nd lease term, and I have nothing but positive things to say about being part of this community. I have personal friends and even a family member who has lived here and still do. I appreciate my tour guides and office mgmt staff, Courtney & Cynthia, for your friendly spirits and consistent service.
Pros- Im incredibly pleased with the interior of my apartment. Spacious and updated. Love my living space and my bathroom. Im a minimalist so I dont have much to complain about space wise. Courtney at the leasing office was a GEM for working with me to tour my actual apt before moving in so i can see what I was getting into. Shes been working hard considering the short handed staffing. Clean fitness center and complex grounds. Im getting good value for my rental dollar from an apt. standpoint.Cons- UPDATE 5/24* One of the main reasons I rented here was that there was a private/tenant only/Electronic door to and from the DART station. It was tampered with a month ago by someone trying to break into the complex, and it has YET TO BE FIXED. Over the last month Ive been accosted by various squatter/vagrant/homeless individuals at least 3 times since the back gate hasnt been fixed. Often its being wedged open by rocks/bottles etc, which has led to an increase of random people wandering the premises. We now have to call the Special Response hotline in order to report those situations, and let me tell you its getting ridiculous. The Faux wood cabinets are warping and shoddily done, the pool JUST opened after being closed since my move in, and the weed smell has gotten progressively worse (so much for non smoking). Oh and maintenance took 4 DAYS to come and fix my clogged toilet, only after I mentioned to the leasing office that I had people coming from out of town to stay with me did it get rush jobbed* Other tenants arent as neighborly as I would hope. First week here I had issues with my upstairs neighbors excessive stomping and yelling at 1AM (this has since been alleviated as of today). Hallways occasionally reek of weed (though the complex is supposed to be smoke free), and people leave their trash with no cans outside their doors and that smell accumulates and seeps into apartments. Neighborhood is sketch with homeless vagrants, and less than savory characters walking around OUTSIDE the complex and near the street corners. Ive grown up in sketchy areas in NYC so I am used to it, but it can be a little unsettling. If you drive this isnt an issue as you just drive on by, but if youre a walker like I am its not ideal. Gates have been malfunctioning lately which has me concerned for overall safety but again no place is 100% safe. Another neighbor pet peeve is that since the fitness center opened we have a sign in system to reserve slots. Some people arent even trying to follow the rules in that regard as no one but me has reserved a particular time and yet ill see people in their who in turn get mad at me and grunt in my direction as if Im the one breaking the rules.Hope this helps everyone in their decisions.
Beautiful complex with a secrect Snow White picturesque view of Woodlands and a creek! The complex is great in a less than savory neighborhood.. you can tell they are trying to create a new and improved area in a neighborhood thats old. But the staff did incredible, the neighbors are nice and they have 3 residents events every month !
My mother is a tenant at LBJ Station. My mom has lived in her own home and this is her first apartment in decades, which made me incredibly nervous in the beginning. The staff treats her like royalty and I couldnt ask for more than that. Theresa, the property manager, is the absolute best. Shes attentive, warm and genuinely engages with the tenants. Lovely grounds and conveniently located, I can confidently say that I am very comfortable with mom living here!
The staff and management of LBJ are the best. World class. They treat their residents like family, make the apartments feel like a home, and do their best to resolve any issues you have. Ive lived in various apartment complexes these past years and havent had as positive experience and impression than what LBJ has given. The apartments themselves are wonderful as well.
Great place to live and great staff! The front office goes above and beyond for you!
I’ve lived here for 9 months now and this place is great! Nice, modern apartments and a great staff to go with them. They’re willing to work with you and always have events for us as residents to have a good time and get to know each other.
Bad attention
I moved in on 2/24 and have loved this place so far. Nice and clean apartments, the gym is open 24/7, all of he apartments are indoors, including hallways. So far so good, worth the price in my opinion. However, the staff is a little out of it. Teresa, the manager is a sweet heart and will always listen and help. Diane however is a complete screw up! Shes so rude, and always has an attitude. Walks around with a blank look on her face, she can never answer a question, always says Ummm, never confirms or follows up, doesnt know what shes doing at all times. Diane has very bad customer service skills and could be the only reason why I leave or end my co tract here. She has NO people skills! What is going on in her head??? Not a rhetorical question. Someone please answer this!
I don’t live here yet but I will be moving in soon . For now I will give 5 stars because Cyd has made The application process easy and super great ! She is amazing and very helpful !
Ive lived here for a few months and it has been nothing short of amazing. The staff is always accommodating and nice. Its ALWAYS clean in common areas (pool, dog walking area, bridge)! I frequently stop by to just say hi and catch up on their days and weekends. If youre looking for somewhere where the staff is amazing, newly updated apts, friendly neighbors, close to every store - 10 min from two malls and 15 min from downtown and lower greenville. Youve found the right place. I couldnt even imagine living somewhere so nice but so close to everything that I need.
Talk about community establishment. Pool is always packed with 60 guests from one resident. Pool amenities are always packed with guests from one resident. Giving actual paying residents no room to properly enjoy the amenities they pay for never the less try to use a grill as that is out of the question. If you dont like to use your apartment amenities this is the place foe toy
I love this place. Its very clean and has a very modern look. Teresa has been wonderful since the day we moved in.
Do not let the “top review” fool you. Keep reading. Worst complex I’ve ever lived in. Legit hate this place.
You get what you pay for the price is decent as well as the property. The interior of the apartment is pretty upgraded and I like the concrete floors on the first floor and the high ceilings. I really dislike that you can hear everything through the walls do not apply here if you are a light sleeper or if you work from home. I can hear my next door neighbors as well as my upstairs neighbors 24/7. It also smells like weed all through the breezeways and you can smell it in your apartment even if you do not smoke due to the vents. Do not leave anything important or luxurious on your patio they stole my bike that was worth $500.00 somehow they jumped on the patio to steal a bike, pathetic !!!! it is in a very sketchy location so you constantly see crack heads walking down the street so make sure you are comfortable with that before moving in make sure you tour the community and pay attention to the location. Rather then all of that the staff is nice.
I have been living here for a few months now and I couldnt love it more. The staff is aaamazing! Teresa in the leasing office is a complete sweetheart and the whole staff gives you a your family environment that is super welcoming and helpful. Any issues or concerns they are always happy and quick to help you on. Also Robert, who assists with maintenance, is always very kind and quick to help with any little things Ive needed assistance on. Everyone just makes you feel glad to have that as your home. Would be happy to live here for a very long time! I know already that I will miss it when Im gone.
Moved in a few days and love my experience so far! The apartments are beautiful with stellar finishes. Cyd from the leasing office is plain and simple a ROCKSTAR!! Always helpful and with a smile on a face. She made my move seamless from explaining my lease terms to giving me a tour of the property. Also, many thanks to Michael, Teresa and Diana for being very friendly and helpful. The pool and the gym are great too!For those like me who are used to public transport, the LBJ Station is right next to the property. quick way to explore Dallas!
This apartment is the best I have ever been if u not here u r missing good staffs from Michael which is my name sake lovely person along side her colleague Dianne very attentive and makes things clear and explain things to you ..been so good with them I love them Michael and Dianne made me moved in here ...now am happy for them come lets be neighbor 😀😀😀
I was the first tenant to ever move into LBJ station apartments. Before the apts. were completed, Theresa kept me abreast of the construction process. She and Robert have ALWAYS been professional, honest, and caring with me and I will always consider LBJ home. Michael, Cyd, and I have a rapport that goes beyond resident and land lord, we are friends. I lived at a prior resident apartment for ten before moving to LBJ, so I dont take moving lightly. You will not be able to find a better group of people than the staff at LBJ.
Nice community but VERY small units with large rent. Has modern updated features inside . While touring you could hear very loudly people above you . Didn’t recall much amenities or perks like others . Leasing agent was nice .
I really love the apts and the community. It is a very nice, quiet, friendly place with just a superb staff. Theresa and Cyd are very caring, understanding, and very helpful. I enjoy living here and highly recommend this to be a living place for others.
The entire staff is super fantastic. Teresa and Cyd truly rock!
LBJ staff was great when I was trying to get a key and parking pass for my boyfriends apartment, although I thought the process was a tad bit unnecessary, at least they are thorough with security precautions, such as background checks. My main complaint is the way they run their parking services. It seems there are more units than resident spots available, and there is no visitor/guest parking (unless you consider the few spaces in the leasing office, which can’t be utilized by guests during office hours). Another flaw in their parking system is that they have no process or policy for residents to obtain a temporary parking pass for times when their vehicle is out of commission and they are in a rental car. This situation has happened once before with my boyfriend when his vehicle was in the shop and he was using a rental car, that particular time his rental was towed while parked in front of his apartment. Currently I am in a rental car and have contacted the front desk to ask for assistance with the parking policy on this situation. They advised me to park on the street, in the leasing office lot, or in the Dart lot behind the apartments. These options are less than ideal for me as a resident trying to carry in groceries in the freezing/raining weather we have had during this time, along with the inconvenience, the security in these alternative options are not great. Other than this issue, the units are nice and the staff is friendly, with some policy updates this could all be fixed.
Cyd, Michael, Teresa, Robert and the rest of the staff are personable and always very helpful. The apartments are modern and sleek and some apts offer concrete floors which was nearly impossible to find in the area. Couldnt be happier with this place!
I have lived in LBJ STATION APPT for 1yr 5months I can proudly say Theresa and her term in the office are the best in all apartments I have ever stayed in DallasTheresa is not just a good manager BUT A MOTHER!!! She is ever ready to listen to ur complains and Act immediately! I appreciate you always
Terrific place to live, management is wonderful.
From the reviews I was looking for Cyd to be rude well she was nowhere near rude she made me and my son feel so welcomed her energy was on point we laughed and talked the whole tour I have my fingers crossed for this place thank you Cyd !
Nice property. Staff of AmateursI have been living here for almost a year and everything has been smooth sailing BUT!!*No Guest Parking*Not enough resident parking*No elevator*Door gates are not the most secure*Billing is antiquated*Staff are amateursThe manager (Teresa) has been a doll. She is always responsive and kind to everyone. But when there is a problem the staff seems to light of serious situations. Making excuses seem to be the only solution.Cyd is a middle aged women who seems to think that biting the hands that feeds her is a great idea. She is one the most rudest woman I have been in communication with since the beginning of time. For a lack of better words she is unprofessional and undereducated. She of all people handles the finances at the property and she thinks 1+1=4. She speaks with her hands, a little manic and is very smartelic. Unfortunately, her bully tactics have been exposed by serveral residents.Once they get rid of Cyd and hire someone who has leasing office experience and that understands great customer service to your existing customers (residents) is just as important as the new ones I would recommend this property to anyone.
I cannot speak higher of LBJ Station! In fact, Im not one to write reviews but felt like I had to write a review about this place since I love living here!Ill echo what a lot of other reviews mention. First and foremost, the entire staff including, Theresa & Michael are topnotch. They are super hospitable and quick to go above and beyond to solve any issue (luckily only had one small issue but was fixed ASAP). It feels like a family!Amenities here are awesome! The pool is amazing, great outdoor lounge area and tables to eat outside on after grilling. 24/7 fitness room is a huge perk and rarely busy. The interior and exterior design is contemporary & really well done. Love the color scheme. Modern art & decor line the area where they house community events. I see a groundsmen every morning, picking up debris, keeping the grounds clean.Natalie and her Michael run the CARES team that put an almost weekly event night like wine night, game night, art-based activities among others. They try to switch it up so it can appeal to anyone.I dont think anyone mentions how there is a private entrance to the DART train and uber convenient to uptown (20 mins), downtown (25 mins), Love Field (40 mins) & DFW (1h10m). You could easily live here if you didnt have transportation.I wont speak too much about the interior of the apartments (see it for yourself) other than to brag about how great the high ceilings, track lighting, granite counter top, massive bathroom tub, balcony & the bathroom lighting (there is a separate light that goes around the mirror that my friends have all commented makes for a great selfie :))The one small issue I previously mentioned, was that people were stealing the propane tanks by the grill. However, they quickly solved that by bolting them to the ground, then getting a massive tank that cant be lifted. The only disadvantage is the guest parking. However, Im not sure what people expect, given this is still the city of Dallas. They were very transparent about that when we moved in. Furthermore, there was never a time when a friend couldnt find street parking, right in front of the apartment. Its honestly no big deal.Overall, Id highly recommend to anyone. Best place I lived in after living in 10+ different apartments over the years.
Some of the staff are rude. Cyd accused me of stopping payment on my application payment which never happened. She also gave me the run around about receiving money owed to me. When I talked to management I received money in less than 30 seconds. Unprofessional!!!
All I have to say is LBJ station is my perfect home environment & community . To my amaneties, apartment unit & the deluxe luxurious staff this place is all around a A plus . When you move here you dont just get a Apartment you get a family as well . Teresa, Michael, Diane & all of the staff is amazing & are family . When moving in Diane handled most of my move in & of course Teresa as well as the manager . Diane made me feel at home & got to know me . This meant a lot being new to dallas ! The apartments & community is very clean . Wonderful gym & pool ! If you want a new upgraded apartment & family community then this is the place for you ! Thank you to my LBJ fam Teresa, Michael & Diane youve made the transition to Texas amazing for me .
Awesome apartments and staff, especially Michael. What a guy.
Well my boyfriend Neighbored On building one apartment 1001 are racist they always calling the management for little thing we even scared to turn on the TV And they dogs always making noise they are so racist White man and woman white woman
