From the beginning, being a first time apartment renter Perla was very helpful and full of information to help me understand the whole process and to ensure everything was clear. The apartment was fixed up and everything was in great condition. The maintenance crew is always prompt and great at what they do. Now coming to the end of my lease Mrs. Audrey and Perla have been so attentive in what my next steps are and how they can help. I had and amazing experience with Perla. Her customer service is excellent. She got me approved within four days. She answered all my questions I had with no problems. Kept me updated with the app process step by step. Also received a $100 gift card for furniture. My apartment looks nice and updated. The inside of my oven looks brand new, counters look great, carpet clean, my cabinets are brand new. The office staff was very welcoming and nice. I would highly recommend Cedar Glen Apartments. DO NOT MOVE IN THESE APARTMENTS! I had a very pleasant experience applying for this apartment. I dealt with Lashunda Williams. She was very courteous. They moved me right on in. And THE VERY FIRST DAY I seen roaches. They kept spraying and spraying and more and more roaches came out. By the second week I asked for my money back and to be let out of my lease. Now Lashunda? I had no issues with. She genuinely seemed apologetic. But The manager Marisa Perez? Very condescending and rude. She treated me as if I were lying. Although I had dozens of pictures and videos of roaches, old and new. The roaches got so bad that they started climbing thru my personal belongings. I had to move after only living there for 5 weeks. There were roaches up to the day I moved. I had to throw away my bed room set for fear of taking roaches with me when I left. I have had to file a complaint with the better business bureau, file a complaint with the chamber of commerce. I was taken advantage of. The gates don’t work properly so any and everybody can get in. You have no access to the pool. The cops were called there constantly. It was a horrible experience that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

Ive never lived in a complex where I actually liked the people in the office but the ladies here are great. Perla, Marisa, and Lashunda are awesome and always very pleasant the few times Ive had to communicate with them. Maintenance men are friendly and complete work orders quickly. Only cons here for me are the sugar ants. They get in stuff that isnt even food but other than that no complaints. 5 stars.
Our experience with Cedar Glen has been very positive. Perla and Marisa are always helpful and respond quickly to any questions we have or requests we need completed. We would also like to thank Jose who goes the extra mile to ensure that everything is working the way it should; and if its not, he keeps us informed on the status of everything. Positive vibes!!! I have been a resident for about 6 months now, and we started out on a not so good foot. We were close to terminating our lease because our building had history of a bug issue prior to our move in and it was making our environment hard to live in. Audrey came in as the new manager just recently i want to say within the last few weeks and she has come in with the intention to fix not only my issue but the issues that many residents here were having that were not being addressed as well as they should have. She has worked so quickly and been so communicative in helping us with our issue and even with the holidays she has been on top of returning our emails and having things ready and set up for us when we do call or contact the office. I am beyond grateful for her and I look forward to seeing how she improves the operations here in the near future.

Its very nice community to live in. But for the price you pay the apartments are a bit small. Everyone at the office is really friendly. Marissa is very helpful and understanding. I give the apartments 4 stars and 10 stars if possible to Perla, she has gone out of her way to make sure my kids and I are very pleased with our living environment. She will make sure you are well taken care of and will answer all your questions regarding the apartment. Didnt have such a good experience at first with Andrea, needs more customer service skills. Maintenance gets work done as soon as you ask them. My kids and I are very happy living here. Thank you Cedar Glen staff for staying on top of things.

Lived here for a year, the apartment was full of cockroaches. Everything looks nice but that’s where it stops. The Quality of the cabinets is very poor and they started falling apart. They also are very slow on the maintenance request. The management team is very rude and hard to deal with. They o my had one employee that was nice but they fired him for this while I was still there. But they will put on a nice smile and give you cookies when they are trying to sell you on their apartments. Also, the police are coming every few weeks to arrest people dor who knows what.
Perla was very helpful and efficient with the whole process.
I recently moved out and received my final bill where it said they were charging me for a major damage. I called them to ask what I was being charged for and LaShunda answered and said she would send the pictures on Monday, she never did. So I call Tuesday and again she told me she would send them. An hour went by and she called back to threaten me saying that if I wanted the pictures she would have to revise my whole total and add all the small things she didn’t charged at first because according to her she didn’t put that on there as a favor. I told her to send them. When I received the pictures they were charging for a hole that was cover by them since before we moved in.And let’s not forget that if you pay for parking there’s someone parked in your space most of the time. There’s also a lot of roaches. Do Not Move Here! Would definitely rated negative stars if possible.

I was hesitant to move here due to the high school across the streets but I must say they keep the security gate closed 24/7 and we have not seen any riff raff happening in the apartments from high school kids. Maintenance always right on time when you need em too.
Great community, On time with all maintenance issues, Big shout outs to Perla and Marrisa they’re always going out there way to help you living comfortably and any issues you have with the property. Perla is an amazing Leasing Agent!! The Complex are clean, maintained and quiet.
My cousin stays here and she has roaches that she did not have before she moved here. In 2020, there is no excuse for roaches. Shes bombed but they always come back. Not sure about all these positive reviews, but I will tell you that in this area good complexes do not have roaches. A place with so many vacancies all the time obviously isnt a place where people want to live. My cousin is moving after only a year.
Lived here for 4 years, this property has done a 360 change. Enjoyed the changes and safety they take to provide for us. Transferred to a new renovated apartment and it is amazing. Love it. Marisa is very helpful and informative. Last manager did not care to explain the rules or the contract.
I am planning on moving into Cedar Glen very soon and I had the pleasure of having a virtual tour with Perla beforehand, she did an AMAZING job of showing me each different aspect of the apartment, she was extremely informative and answered all of my questions before I could even ask them! These arent the worse, but they are expensive for the things we have to deal with. When you tell the office something is wrong, they dont care and you have to stay on them to get things fixed. The manager is rude to the point of being disrespectful. Lately things are really going down. They used to tow cars that were parked here after a certain time, not the parking lot is filled with cars that dont have Cedar Glen stickers. There are even cars parking in the covered parking that dont belong here. There are a lot more cars here because people have people not on the lease staying with them which is never good. Last month the manager sent a letter telling us there was a robbery and a home invasion so we should keep our doors locked and dont go out at night. She finished the letter by telling us it is our job and the police to keep us safe. For the money we pay, things should be a lot better. Were definitely moving when out lease is up.

Cedar Glen is a great place to move in but when moving into new places you also have to see how the staff treats new and old people that come in so my person I had was Perla she is so amazing and will send anybody to her to help get in a new place she did everything to get us our apartment and made sure everything was ready for us on move in day Im so thankful for her making it so easy for us to move in and keeping in contact with us about everything thank you Perla for all you do.

Cedar glen is a good place to move, customer or resident care is very good, pearl one of the office people went out of their way to give us a place to live, and if we need anything they are always on the lookout for residents and That is not seen everywhere, the excellent service is appreciated

I recently moved in last year and had no problems until my work schedule changed. The problem I’m having with this apartment complex that there are no drop boxes, for the amount of money that’s being paid in rent there needs to be one! Simply cause you have residents that go to work before you open and get off after you close! When asked about it I was suggested to pay online (which is a extra $30) or could I have someone drop it off (no I can’t! Get a freakin drop box) I’ve been paying a extra $129 for late fees, so now I gotta figure out how I’m gonna pay rent before the 3rd to avoid late fees. Please fix this issue. There are no light fixtures and no microwaves smh
Cedar glen is an amazing place to live, the perfect place to call home. I got a one bedroom loft that’s pretty spacious, I’ve been here almost 3 years now and seeing as though I’m from Houston they’ve helped me call Dallas home as well now. Shouts to Marissa and the cedar staff for all the help and support with everything !
Nice property, Mgmt unprofessional. Do not hold their word on agreements. Whatever you do, make sure EVERYTHING is on black and white! Lesson learned!
Whats the point of having a resident portal for occupants to pay their rent online when its not setup correctly. Last year I had no problems, now all of a sudden it doesnt work with a CC or ACH payment. I work 6 nights a week and Im on call 24/7 so this was very convenient for me. Then today I received a message saying payment declined and now Im going to charged bull.... late fees Please fix this issue

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE!I am doing everything I can to get out of this lease and it’s literally only been a week. The cable/internet package is a joke. They sell “cable ready” apartments when in reality they aren’t. Maintenance is nonexistent. Every day I have been here something has malfunctioned or broken. I couldn’t have my washer and dryer delivered because the door to access the area won’t open all the way and is being blocked by the refrigerator. I had a laundry list of things wrong with my apartment upon move in that still remain unfixed. Leasing staff don’t care and show no concern or sense of urgency to fix the situation or offer other solutions. The property manager is very rude and off putting. Now I have huge bugs all over my apartment!! Save your money, time and a LOT of frustration and live somewhere else!!
Augustine was great. He showed me the apartment and provided me with all the information I needed, made me feel welcome. I was in love with the property! However, when I called with more questions I ended up speaking with Juan, the manager, he was short and didnt want to answer my questions. He made me feel dumb like I was irritating him with basic questions. Juan alone changed my mind. I would never move and pay my money for rude customer service like Juan provided.
I moved in about 3 years ago. I was not happy, then there was a change in management in 2017. The changes made with the new management was great. The staff is more resident friendly, considerate, and helpful at all times. They care. The renovations have made this into a really classy, modern apartment community.
About two months we had an incident where we were charge twice and the manager was very rude and when we were leaving she slammed the door on us. Before the new management took over we had been already been living here for two years and never had any problems with management or neighbors. Recently new neighbors move in and they play music and hit the ceilings at any time they want. We made complaints multiple times and now the manager only takes their side since we had an issue with her.
The staff of cedar Glenn Apt are wonderful. They are really respectful and nice, I have been living here for almost two years now and not even once did they give me any trouble. I plan on staying here for as long as possible because i love the environment and plus i love that i have a very nice view of the apartment especially the pool. I even recommended the apartment to some of my friends.

I have lived in Cedar Glen for over 6 years now and I love it. I have never had any issues with my neighbors and it has always been very quite. Even though a school is directly cross the street and the side, you would never know it. All the children, I mean all of them are good, respectful children. The office allows them to come in a get a cookie treat, and I think its so cute. And you dont even have to tell them to get just one, they just get one, just respectful kids. From the high school kids to the elementary kids. I have never not once, saw any children on this property, outside hanging out late, being disrespectful, not once. I have actually lived on 3 different floor plans, from the back, to the front, now Im in the middle and I love it. The office staff has always been so amazing and have always done with they said they will do. I have never ever had an issue with the office staff. In fact, I love the office staff, thats why I cant leave...lol. No, but the rent is very affordable and always clean and I just love it here. The only issue I have, is some of the people crowd their patios and I do not like that. Thats just one thing I think should be enforced (and its very few). They are the worst apartments in Dallas! They have a new property manager & he is awful! Huge issues while living there the last few years:1. They make you pay $20 a month for parking! No parking comes with your apartment!2. They require you have car insurance and attempt to regulate visitors!3. They demand you have renters insurance and make you pay extra for utilities like water & trash!4. They are slow if ever on fixing apartment repairs! They are always trashy!5. They run the credit and criminal history of occupants even if they are children.6. Across from a high school and bad kids are always causing noise at night!It is a horrible place and Im moving out at the end of my lease in December.
I have been living in Cedar Glen for over 7 years and I have had some good and bad experiences, which is understandable given they were built during the 80s - management however, has always found a way to resolve any issues. They are very respectful and helpful. The location is very convenient to my job, and across from a nice school system.
This is my second year renewing my lease with Cedar Glen Apartments and I must say they are by far the best complex Ive ever lived in. The staff are very helpful and when ever i have a maintenance request they are quick to respond.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great; it is close to many stores, restaurants and cafes. The maintenance men are attentive and timely. I have resided here for many years.
Do NOT sign a lease here.I have NEVER had an issue with bugs before (we clean about twice a week, never leave food out, never leave dirty dishes in the sink for more than a few hours), and yet here-- despite the fact that we maintain a clean apartment, AND weve sprayed bug spray on our own about once every two weeks-- the place is crawling with roaches. We have asked management for pest control regarding this issue, and they said they would send someone twice a month. Its been three months since that request and not ONCE has someone come to fumigate.On top of the bug problem, just about everything in the apartment is poorly installed. From cabinets to towel racks. They used latches that are too big for cabinet door to actually hook onto the wood, and the cabinet doors are heavy, so you can try to pop out your tools to tighten the screws, but no matter what, you just have these cabinet doors that you cant open because otherwise the door will just hang there. The towel racks in the bathroom come right off just because you hung a towel there-- you know, using them for what they are for.The parking is fine during the day, but at night, it is next to impossible to find parking, especially since they have all this nice, reserved parking that almost NO ONE is using, leaving much less options for parking for those who do not care for a reserved parking spot. Ive had to park quite far from my apartment because there was no other option. Which is dangerous, because...In less than a YEAR of living here, there have been reports of two thefts: one at gun point, and one break-in to someones apartment. Managements response amounted to dont go out at night and lock your doors. Not a single word on anything they might implement to make the area safer. Just idiotic, common-sense suggestions on how to be safe.Long story short, this place is WAY too expensive for what they are offering. There are places where the rent is comparable to what I pay here, but that are in safer, better areas, and where they can be bothered to send maintenance out to residents, and actually send out pest control as well. My advice? Love yourself enough to find someplace much better to live.
I have lived in this residence for my lease and it has been the worst possible place I’ve ever lived. There were nasty bugs in the apartment that they took months to come take care of, the management staff is rude and doesn’t care about their residents, and they tow residents even if they have a parking pass. I wouldn’t recommend anybody move here. Save your time and save your money and look elsewhere!! I won’t be renewing my lease or recommending anybody to even view this location!

Yep, bees, water turned off with no notice, AC not working, water leaking from upstairs. Stuff happens but its about how management handles it. The head manager is extremely rude. For the money paid to live here, customer service should be important. This place is too expensive to not have a decent manager. Every month people move out and well be moving when our lease is up.
I like my new home here at Cedar Glen the staff perla very friendly and helpful quiet place. I highly recommend it.
Professional and courteous employees, Anderson was very thorough and informative during the rental process. The complex is well maintained, the price is right & I have a great view of the pool/fountain. Good location with easy hwy access.
