I moved in about 3 weeks ago and I have enjoyed how the leasing team has helped my move from Hawaii to Texas be as smooth as possible. They have been very accommodating, very helpful, and overall very nice. The complex smells nice, I have only met nice people (my neighbors), and the location is just right: next to attractions and restaurants. So far Im loving my new place at Arrive at West End
Living and learning - I’ll tell you for the price and location you can find way better there’s a reason places have 500-800$ credit towards the first month or first months rent free sounds nice saves a penny but you pay for what you get and when their willing to meet you half way once you should know it will be the last time
DeAnna you are back!!!!! My lease has expired after 2 years and I have to leave but I have truly enjoyed my stay at Arrive WestEnd!!! The apartment was great like living in a home!!!! The community is great!! Right in the middle of everything!! Looking for a hot spot in downtown this is it!
This community is definitely one of my faves! The staff is super cool! The neighbors are all friendly and respectful and the apartments are beautiful and spacious! My favorite is the blue tooth enabled door locks and the big beautiful smart GE front load w/d. I am happy with my choice so far.
Im updating my review after living here for a total of 6 months thereabouts.1.) We signed a 6-month lease after multiple calls and communications from the team. move in was easy and maintenance was and is still great! When it was time to move out, we kept getting emails about offers for signing a new lease, we ignored because we had communicated several times when apartment shopping and after moving in that we were moving for sure after 6-months. none of these emails they sent included a warning for what happens if we did not sign a new lease or tell them AGAIN that we were moving out. we finally let them know we did not want to get the email offers anymore because we were not extending, then we got hit with the your signed lease says you have to give notice 60 days ahead so we had to pay additional rent - almost $2k even after explaining several times that we always told them we were not staying past the 6 months.2.) I dont know if things have just now changed about the caliber of people who live here but I have had packages stolen twice or more and there are not cameras at the package room, the garage which we pay $75 per car for smells like pee lately, weve had people park in our spots, even though only those who pay should have the key fobs, the hallways stink like wet dogs, the bathrooms grouts start coming apart after a few weeks and they look disgusting. The location is LOUD! This is not necessarily the fault of the apartment, but maybe soundproof windows would help with out-facing units, for an apartment this expensive?I normally dont write reviews like this one, but just save yourself the hassle. Again, maintenance is great but I do feel cheated and scammed as we move out of here and Ive called back every referral I had made prior to this.
Since new management has arrived, any time I have needed assistance DeAnna and Raquel have been quick to respond. When work requests have been submitted, Ricky and Travis were soon on scene to correct issues.
I love it here, best place you can live I promise you . The amenities are fantastic, lovely neighbors, great community and area. Lost of delicious restaurants around here and also landmarks that out of this world.
Please for the love of god just stay somewhere else. There’s 1000’s of complex you can choose from. They have screwed us over in every single way from the get go. From driving hours to get here, and having them close early when we finally arrived. Kicking us out of their office causing us to get a hotel room on move in date, with a uhaul and a ton of exposed valuables. To the literal piles of trash, it’s so disgusting. Do not move here no matter what.
I would not recommend this complex to anyone. Listing claimed it was a smoke free building (indoor and outdoor); however, immediately upon arrival there was smoking directly outside of building. The smell carried into the hallways. The accommodations were dog friendly; however, there’s no grass in a block radius for your pet to go out. Noise was also a huge issue. It’s directly next to a train stop and homeless people are yelling at all hours of the night.Biggest disappointment was the customer service. I spoke with a supervisor in regards to the smoke as I’m asthmatic and allergic to smoke. I was dismissed with no offer for refund.
My husband and I just moved here about 2 months ago and both the moving in process and living experience have been great! The rental admin ladies are great, quick to respond and the maintenance team is definitely top notch! It’s truly a “luxury” experience here - can’t complain! 🤷🏾♀️
Jennifer has been a huge help since I moved in. Any problems I had were quickly handled and maintenance is accommodating and expedient. I love the size and layout of my apartment and having a good sized balcony. And (when there isn’t a pandemic going on) the West End is a fun neighborhood close to many good restaurants and museums.
Extremely friendly and customer oriented. This my first time applying for an apartment and Jennifer made whatever worries I had go away. The excellent customer service doesnt stop there. Whenever Jennifer wasnt available there was a staff member to great me with amazing and memorable service. Thank you!
I love this place! It’s a great location. Jennifer is the best. She always asking how I’m doing and making sure I’ve got everything I need. Maintenance is fast. Absolutely adore Samatha, from the front office. This team makes this place one of my favorite places to live in because they’re not rude and just collecting rent. Would recommend you live here!
I fell in love with the property as soon as I visited! Samantha was extremely personable and provided an array of floor plans to accommodate my needs. The month between visiting and moving in, both Samantha and Jennifer were communicative and ensured my process was seamless and without issue. Despite the office being closed, Samantha went out of her way to connect me with the officer on duty and make sure I received all of my move-in items (keys, garage fob, and parking pass). Throughout the weekend, Samantha reached out to make sure I was settling into the building nicely and was readily available to answer any additional questions. The arrive staff go out of their way to make sure every resident truly feels at home.
I was a prospective resident looking for an apartment complex in downtown Dallas and like all the amenities that are offered with this complex! Ruth was super helpful with answering questions I had and went out of her way to give me friendly customer service! Because of her, I left feeling comfortable with potentially selecting this complex as my new home!
Area around this place needs some work
I was looking around town for a place. The staff present was very helpful at answering all my questions. Great customer service and such a welcoming atmosphere!
I love living here :) Jennifer is so helpful!! All emails, concerns and apartment upkeep are responded to, answered and fixed right away. The apartments are lovely with lots of space.
Ever since Jennifer has taken over as property manager, she has done a fantastic job! The front office staff as a whole are very engaged and helpful and the maintenance crew is very responsive! Ive really enjoyed my time as a resident here.
Apartment looked bigger than expected when I got in. This is my 3rd move in 3 years and the only apartment I’ve moved into without any complain or disappointment.Chose this place cause it’s a walking distance from work.Sure the streets can get noisy when the boys with pimped up cars come to play but then, that’s on me for choosing downtown living and not on the apartment.Samantha and Jeniffer are so personable and made my move in fluid.
Five stars is not enough to show how happy I am with Arribe West End especially in regards to the Leasing Consultant . I originally was interested in Camden because they have many locations where I am from in Texas, but that is not why I ultimately chose to live here. The staff made me feel at home, they have always been a great help and youll be in great hands!!
I’m proud to be part of the Arrive West End community. I highly suggest you check this unit out if you’re looking to move in the downtown area. The staff is amazing. Jennifer and Samatha your a blessing, thank you for having me be a part of your community!
Arrive has a small apartment community feel in big city! Lots of fun events to get get to know your neighbors. We are definitely spoiled here by a professional and very responsive management team.
Ive enjoyed living here for the past year and recently renewed my lease. I love the clubhouse and often book it for events and Chasity in the front office is very accommodating and friendly. They put on great events, maintenance is very quick to respond and the price is decent for the location. The location is perfect and accessible to everything. I love the wrapping station they set up for residents, it was perfect for the holidays! I love all the resident events, especially taco Tuesday.
Jennifer and Ruth were very helpful, very satisfied with my new home, it’s spacious and it has great views.
I had a great experience moving here all the way from MN! Samatha made my whole move really easy and can’t thank her enough. The location is awesome
Jennifer has been extremely accommodating and helpful throughout our entire experience at Arrive so far. I am unbelievably grateful for her and so thankful that we finally have somewhere to call home! Truly just want to say thank you to her for all of her quick and helpful responses. So happy to call arrive home!
West End has really came back around, We are one of the oldest tenants in Arrive at West End, and have seen people come and go, The Management we have now are on top of everything, the property is wellkept the management is so very pleasant and really care about the tenant concerns. The new management have made so many improvements. We really enjoy living here and we recommend this property to anyone. 8+ years going strong and we plan to continue to make this are home.
We moved into the Arrive West End apartments in February of 2019. On the day of move in, Our apartment was not ready. It still has a smell to it but definitely had a smell at move in. Out unit was extremely dirty. The stove was filthy, our ceiling fans were full of dust and scratched up really bad. The bathroom walls were half painted. The kitchen sink was never installed correctly and when we went to wash dishes, we let the water out it went straight to the floor. The baseboards were not attached, the master shower hadn’t been resurfaced, It was Yellow and very dirty. Black grout was throughout the whole shower. All 3 bathroom sinks were clogged. Maintenance was in and out of our unit all day. I have a few pictures I can show as well. Jennifer, did good getting most of the items taken care of. She even offered us to end the lease or reach out to the RVP to get us a rent concession. It’s been 12 months and I have yet to hear from her. When I reached out a few months ago asking to speak with the RVP. She asked if she could handle it in house. Well... I asked her to honor the rent concession or allow us to move early with no penalty and she told me no to both. (I understand the move out part) Were we excited to move here because our sister is a resident here and our experience has NOT been the best. She allows dishes on the roof but sent our installer away because she said she was doing away with that. It’s fine but with our issues allow us something for our inconvenience. She literally tells us no to any request we make. I have emailed corporate and still have received ZERO responses. The garage smells like human urine, the hallways smell bad carpet is super dirty too. Jennifer is good at responding and I am not mad at her I am however mad there is no empathy for our move in and we can simply be told no for a unit that was not move in ready.
OMG. I love this place is in a great locations. The neighbors are friendly and inviting. And Jennifer is the greatest. She has literally saved me so many times. From my sister leaving her keys in the door to my car needing jumper cables she always has a solution.
Ruth Wolfryd made my leasing & moving process so easy! She was such a huge help even after moving in, in regards to parking & site seeing.
I moved here in December and I can’t express enough how helpful the staff have been. The staff have always helped me resolve any issues I may have had and the events they have every month are a nice touch. They emphasize community a lot and really are on top of everything.
This is my 3rd month living here. I love it! The apartment is huge for a one bedroom. The view of downtown is to die for. I have a great workout room that I can use anytime. A game room. A tanning bed too. Then outside there is a nice pool area with a fire pit. What else could I ask for when I ARRIVE home! I like to be able to have my dog here. Thanks for the treats for him! I like I can take a train or bus it’s right there. All round the complex are a variety of places such as museums, cafes, restaurants and shops. I try explore when I can. I truly believe I finally have Arrived home.
(Need to mention the standard I dont ever leave reviews, but intro)I moved here nearly 3 years ago with the hopes of trying out downtown living for a year. Each time my lease has come to an end, I would shop around for what else could provide the energy of the city plus the comfort of a community plus (of course) value for the money. This building is the gem of the West End and the ideal location for those looking to try out the big city.Sure, there are fancier and newer buildings and those that offer way over-the-top amenities with a Main Street address (and price tags to match). At Arrive West End, youre 5 minutes from these locales on foot. In fact, you can be most anywhere quickly (and safely) on foot. Or rental bike. Or rental scooter. Or car service. Or, on the rare occasion, via your own car. From outdoor dining to rooftop drinks to quick access to most all DFW has to offer (most every highway can show you traffic within minutes!) youre not only in the middle of everything, but close to being anywhere. In short, if you are looking to try out city living, or looking for a neighborhood feel while being steps away from a major American metropolis, make sure not to overlook this one.(And as someone who works from home when not traveling, I take great comfort in knowing that my furry friend, and scaly, water-breathing roommates, are safe in this great community that Ashley and Jennifer work tirelessly to make a home.)
Chasity is the most pleasant Assistant Manager I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She’s on top of all of her duties and manages to juggle multiple resident concerns effortlessly. She is super friendly, does her job well, knowledgeable about the property, and always answers your questions quickly and happily. I wish I could take her with me to my next place. She is really awesome anyone property management company is truly lucky to have her. The 5th star would be for the actual apartment it’s self. 😊💅🏽
I moved in March 2, 2019 and love it, the location is great. Since the day I went to look at the apartment Jennifer Buckhannon has been awesome she made sure I was taken care of, she is hands-down the best. I love my apartment, great views. My apartment was clean and ready. Its a bit loud sometimes but thats downtown living. I love Arrive and the staff so far so good. I am happy to call ARRIVE home!!
The whole process of leasing at Arrive West End was fantastic, Jennifer did a great job making sure to answer any questions I had along the way. Super excited to call this community home!
Chasity is a god send! Very grateful for her positivity and kindness. She is super responsive and always gets back to me quickly when I have a question or need anything and is always going above and beyond. Her presence in the office has made all the difference!
Whats good:Great location in terms of trying to get to fun parts of Dallas and DART is literally downstairs.Downtown scene is growing and lots of exciting initiatives and places opening up.Wonderful staff, they know every tenant by name and love their jobs.Maintenance is prompt and efficient.Apartment interiors are nice. First floor rooms are mostly stained cement which is great.Whats not-so-good:DART is downstairs. The rail isnt too noisy, its just the people who hang out there that are the problem. The crowd that is there at night is intimidating and regardless of time, you will see unpleasant things. The pool area is nice, but with 3 stories surrounding it, there isnt much sun.You will hear your upstairs neighbors. The mandatory valet trash for $24 a month is stupid, dirty, and can make the hallways stink. The stairways can be pretty rancid as well, especially since one has an external doorway to the DART that is used by vagrants as a toilet.
Visiting my brother for a weekend and I’ve paid $30 for parking for almost 2 days and we still have 2 days left here. My brother asked if he could get a parking pass for me and was told no because too many passes were already given to other tenants. No visitors parking don’t live here.
Really liked the apartment interiors and the area. I like everything thats within walking distance. The garage seems really safe compared to other complexes I toured (had my car broken into a few times at my current apts so this was very important to me). What stood apart the most though was the manager Chasity. She was so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond for me even though she clearly had a lot on her plate when I walked in. Im looking forward to following up with her and hopefully making Arrive my next home!
OMG!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE I MEAN ITS AWESOME THE PROPERTY ALONE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF... ITS WELL KEPT TOGETHER BUT THE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF ARE TERRIFIC I MET THE PROPERTY MANAGER JENNIFER AND SHE WAS VERY PLEASANT, KIND AND VERY INFORMATIVE AND MADE SURE THAT I DIDNT HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FAR AS MY MOVE IN AND THE MAINTENANCE STAFF RODNEY WAS EXCELLENT I HAD A SLIGHT MINOR ISSUE IN MY APARTMENT HE MADE SURE THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED WITHIN 30 MINS I WAS SUPER IMPRESSED NEVER LIVED AT A PLACE WHO DEDICATED THEIR ACTUAL TIME TO THE RESIDENTS IVE BEEN HERE FOR 3 YEARS ALREADY AND IM DEFINITELY GOING TO RENEW MY LEASE DUE TO JENNIFER, RODNEY AND SAMNTHA GUYS DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT AND ASK FOR JENNIFER WHEN YOU GET THERE SHE IS AMAZING !!!!!
Arrive West End is an extremely well managed apartment complex located in downtown Dallas. My apartment was well maintained and cleaned thoroughly before I moved in. Ms. Buckhannon (Jennifer) was very accommodating and communicated with me actively before and after I moved in to ensure all my needs were taken care of. The complex provides a swimming pool, a 24 hour gym, and a games room. I enjoy the flexible hours the of the amenities and love the convenience of having them on site. Convenience seems to be a recurring theme within this complex as trash is collected from the doors of each unit, mail is organized and delivered by the well trained staff, and work orders are routinely completed by the maintenance staff in a timely manner. The building is in a great location - surrounded by many restaurants, the DART transportation system, and several convenience stores. Overall, I have greatly enjoyed staying at Arrive West End and would recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment in Dallas.
This property has been on my list of ideal apartments. I finally made it in to tour with chastity and see it for myself. She was helpful and knowledgeable in showing my the floor plan I had been looking at online. I don’t move until April but I am looking forward to coming back to sign a lease. I didn’t like the location of the DART but it’s overall a clean and quiet community.
My roommate and I visited with Chasity and we loved the apartments! The floor plans were big and we loved that the parking garage was included. I wish they had a green space for pets or a park closer by though.
I have been a resident at Arrive West End for a little over a year. I have been complaining for a little over a month about the tenants who live above me. I have been told that they are not documented and should not be living there. The tenant has small kids who constantly run back and forth jumping and yelling. I have been told that they have received 2 noise complaints and will be hit with a fine if it continues. It has continued and nothing has been done. I have simply asked that I be let out of my lease to find somewhere else to stay. I have been told that the regional manager has denied that request. Are you freaking kidding me???!! This is a simple request......I am the one who will have to pack up and move due to management not taking the appropriate measures to fix the problem or evict the tenants. If you are looking to move here...THINK TWICE! I plan to seek legal representation IMMEDIATELY!
I have been on and off this property for 3 years and never had a parking issue until now. Management is useless and not personable and they call the towing company on your car for any small reason and the sad part is there are always a variety of empty non reserved spots in the garage. regardless that the residences pay monthly fees they still are only limited one parking pass per day per person first come first serve and it’s the only first 5 people. They have horrible communication and have shown discrimination due to the car I was driving compared to the other times. I Do not recommend this property it’s highway robbery and you are just another number to this company.
Property manager Jennifer is an absolute saint! Phenomenal property and amenities, I’m excited to say I live somewhere where I’m proud to bring visitors and out of towners over. The neighborhood is one of the most underrated spots in Dallas. Within a five minute walk, you have dozens of restaurants and bars, the aquarium, Klyde Warren Park (with all the food trucks), Museums, and (maybe an additional two minutes on the walk) the American airline center. Not only are you walking distance from so many things, you are a CHEAP Uber to deep ellum and uptown! One of my friends is moving from LA and I certainly will be showing him this property day 1!
When we arrived today we were meet by a African American lease agent who was a hot mess. He was very unprepared and seemed like he did not want to be at work. He was very unprofessional and was unclear of what to do. He was very rude when we ask questions and he seemed like he did not want to answer any questions. It was like he were a burden to him? I assume he was someone they found off the streets because it was so far from professional. It was truly a horrible experience. We will never return to this property. I would suggest finding something truly decent in the area. This place is the pits and the employees are as well.
New leasee! I visited these apartments 3 times and viewed apartments twice. Each time every one was helpful. Its a small community yet beautiful. I finally applied and was approved for move-in in Feb 2020. I am soooo excited. From the floor plans to the pool area, you would never guess you are downtown Dallas!! The amenities look great and the floors OMG I love the floors!!! I cant wait!!UPDATE: So I moved in about a week ago, no one likes moving but it was a good transition! Jennifer was very helpful in my move too...The place is cozy and gorgeous! I recently had some fraud activity on my card, mind you I just moved in. Jennifer informed me of this and we both worked together to get this situation handled and she was patient and kind and very understanding and it just makes me feel sooo important to her. She knows EVERYONE by name, everyone!! She is a great property manager!! When I say GREAT, she is GREAT!!!
The only issue I had was during the move out process. The apartment management did not process my security deposit correctly and definitely not in a timely manner. It took having to calling and show up in person multiple times just for them to process it, only to be the incorrect amount. They have refused to give me the full amount, and don’t think they’re corporate office will help you. I’m still owed $250 at this point and it seems the only way I am going to receive it is through small claims court in which I’m prepared to do so. There’s a whole new staff there, different from when I first moved in so I’m not sure the service is up to par as it once was.
I love the large floor plans and the amazing leasing staff here. Chasity is amazing!Dallas Dream ApartmentsI wish I could leave an IG Review too
I have lived at Marquis West End for about two years now.. I honestly have had zero issues with my apartment home. Its the best of downtown living.. The complex has amazing interior & exterior lighting. I feel great calling this my home!! I love the upgrades inside the apartment complex and most of all Amanda has been super caring & I appreciate the changes that she has made to the complex. We have resident events which are refreshing and an amazing way to get to know new people. We recently had a parking issue but Amanda was quick to address our concerns. If you want to live somewhere where your voice is actually heard then this is the place for you! I love this community and I plan on renewing my lease again. To add to this.. We have an amazing on site officer that wont hesitate to speak to you or joke around with you. Ive had nothing but a great experience..The area is also full of downtown life! Multiple restaurants and also. CVS across the street. The DART station is right behind the complex which is amazing.
My girlfriend and I just went to tour this property. We had an appointment that was made for 10:30am that was made with a leasig agent that made it clear they would work with us on units, different rates and move-in dates. We were very excited about this property. However, it was a nightmare before we even parked. There was no parking for future residents, so my girlfriend went inside to ask for assistance. The assistant manager told her “I don’t know what to tell you. Guess you can just try the meters”. So we eventually found parking. Then after walking in, the assistant manager was extremely rude and blunt. Had absolutely no interest in even asking us what we were looking for or even entertaining working with us. She made it very apparent that she had no interest in even pulling away from her desk to do as much as a tour. Needless to say, i’ve never been treated so poorly.
My friend is trying to move in there but the communication has been non-existent. They are great during the leasing processes but after you sign the lease...good luck getting any response from them.
Ciprian the maintenance man is amazing and knowledgeable. Time sensitive and gets the job done all the time.
Pros:Location is great. Walkability is great. Spacious floorplans.Cons:Resident floors have carpet and are rarely cleaned (Ive been here since Oct 2017 & have only seen them deep cleaned once) so they smell.Took a whole month to obtain washer and dryer rental.Service requests are not fulfilled in a timely manner.Attentiveness of leasing office personnel to issues is inconsistent.Office staff seems to constantly revolve, no one introduces themselves either.Trinity Property Management corporate office wont return your calls and its impossible to reach a live person. The 2 elevators are out of service at least once a month, and can sometimes take weeks to get fixed. No freight elevator to move in or out, so you must use the high traffic elevators making moving twice as long & difficult than usual. The office employees seem always look stressed & uncomfortable when you enter and greet you with a concocted smile as if they are trying to portray friendliness but inside hoping youll go away as fast as you came.Personal Experiences:1. A. Slow Request Response: Took over 1 month to just get a light replaced.B. Called office 2x a week for a month getting the run around from about getting a washer & dryer rental delivered. Saying the office manager would contact me, he left a message with her, shes gone on business for 2 days, shes getting the paperwork prepared, theyre short staffed on maintenance etc., etc.. It didnt get resolved until finally another representative answered my call to the office.2. Unorganized: When I initially had cable installed, the cable guy had to wait almost 2 hours to get started because the only employee that had the key to the central box with all the connective wiring was off that day. The office manager was rude to the cable guy and I had to contact the corporate office on his behalf that day. The office manager wrote an apology and also called and verbally apologized.3. A friend left a bottle of tequila & a sports bottle for me at the office, went to pick them up after work, the leasing assistant shoved the bag in my hands upside down and the tequila bottle fell out off the bottom and shattered. I contacted my friend and he said the bottle was upright in the bag when he left it. I helped to pick up glass and didnt even receive the professional courtesy of an apology.I most likely wont renew my lease once it ends. Ive been treated better as resident elsewhere.
Chasity has made sure that all my requests and questions have been answered, and she has made the renting experience painless. 10/10 .
The worst place I ever lived. Avoid this place at any cost. All internal aisles smell really bad from time to time, usually dog urine. All stairs constantly have the same problem, also with feces. They give you the apartment filthy. I was promised by one of the agents, not the administrator, that I would receive a clean renewed apartment away of the train side, including a 500usd special, but when I arrived I received an incredibly dirty unit adapted for handicapped persons so there were no floor cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom and of course it was on the train station side, so imagine the horrible noise outside. So after several complaints I was offered a transfer if I was ok to surrender the special. I had that choice or pay 3 months rent plus the special to move out, so I took the decision to stay. Later the agent, not the manager, sent me the addendum for the transfer, and I trusted the contract didnt change except for the apartment number. When I went to the office complaining about a misunderstanding regarding the dates on the lease term, the contract copy was never given to me, it looks like the lease was not over one day before the starting date, but not only that, the addendum specifies that the end date changed, saying I need to pay one extra month. This is terrible because it says I electronically signed that, so I was confused and I was trying to see whats going on, I promise I was really calm and not yelling at all, but one of their female security guards entered with a hand on her gun asking me to leave in a threatening way. Also note that the first floor parking garage always smells like trash and urine. The new unit was unfinished and I requested a few repairs but they where underdone. Specifically the bath shower. The fridge freezer was not working, they replaced that, but as everything else they didnt care about cleaning the fridge, it was really dirty. I also suffered from cockroaches coming from the bathroom, from time to time. Make yourself a favor and do not consider this community, avoid it at all cost, dont make my mistake and go somewhere else, if you see other reviews you will notice Im no lying at all.
We rented a room in hotels.com for $80/night but its really only worth about $50/night. Hardly any amenities, were directly over the garage, we can hear all the neighbors, and the beds are stiff af.
The area is quiet and clean and people who living here are mostly professionals.
Stayed in one of the units while traveling via VRBO. The 👍... The unit was a well decorated, updated, nice size two bedroom, two full bath, two large walk in closets with a large (for an apartment) balcony overlooking the pool. There is a well equipped gym, underground secured parking with elevators. Good location with many restaurants and a CVS within walking distance, public DART system right out the back door. The 👎... The whole complex smelled. All of the elevators smelled like dog urine, the halls smelled, the gym smelled and unfortunately even our unit smelled. There was vomit from what we think was a dog in the hall that we had to pass to get to our unit and it was there for a day and then we left. For all I know, it could still be there. It was difficult to sleep a few nights because of late night happenings at the pool. Finally, the area surrounding the DART system had lots of scarey looking people hanging out there. But if you stay on the front side of the building, this can be avoided.
No matter how they want to present it this is ghetto . No reply to maintenance request, they say email mail receipt or insurance information then weeks later ask to send it again. The worse management I have had to deal with . Put deposit down months in advance drove 800 miles got here and they did not have my apartment ready . I signed up for interior apartment but now stuck with train 10 feet from my apartment and ghetto activity 24 7 right below me all day and night. Nothing about this place justifies the rent . Stay away!
I loooved living here especially with the previous manager Gabriel being in charge. I had an amazing view and an awesome location. I was able to walk to concerts at the AAC. Easy access to interstates. Great price for the location. The apartment was quiet most times. But there is the noise from the train that actually became a soothing white noise affect to me now. We moved because we got a better deal at a newer complex 3 miles away.I disliked that corner near McDonalds on the side near the DART. Shady people hang hear allll the time. Its quite uncomfortable. My car was broken into so I would suggest cameras in the deck. Also there is carpet in the hallways of the building. The issue I have with this is, the building is Veeerrry pet friendly. I have seen dogs off the leash a few times and once I witness one urinate in the hallway. So maybe something more sanitary for the flooring so cleaning can be easy and effective.
Great apartment❤️
Wonderful staff that take care of things with ease.
I recently moved to another community downtown from MWE. This property was amazing starting out until we experienced the surrounding area more, primarily the SE corner near the McDonalds. Usually, a bad crowd hangs out here all hours of the day. This area could be avoided, but avoiding it will cause inconvenience. Dont worry, it never makes its way into the building. Security improvements were made and they appear effective. The units themselves are very nice, and well maintained. All request are handled mostly same day, or next day at the latest if you put a request in late. The walls are thin, and there is no concrete in floors so you will hear the steps. But the people living here where quiet and respectful. The staff was great. You will not find a better team anywhere else downtown. The office staff gets to know there tenants. They know everyone by name, not by apartment number. They were the only reason I considered staying. Office staff is very important in downtown living. As for the maintenance staff, you will always see them running around getting things done. They made sure the building was top notch 100% of the time. You never had to worry about a request not getting done on time or done right.Other than the surrounding area, the only other con I had was the valet trash. It caused the halls to have a bad smell at times. And sometimes you may see small trash left behind. Everything was great after the maid staff comes through but they cant be on site 24 hours a day.We never had problems with parking and the elevators sometimes where down. Not too often. But sometimes we need to exercise and its only 5 floors high. They usually are down for a few hours at most, but there is always another elevator if one does go down. All and all it was ok. The staff was awesome, and the building was ok. The area needs improvement but it is near a range of different restaurants, museums, shops, and anything else you can think of.
Outstanding staff, modern and affordable apartments.
