GREAT & friendly leasing staff! The assistant manager Ashley is always very helpful. I have been a resident for 8 years and things have drastically improved in such a short period of time. I am excited to renew another year!

I am truly disappointed in the way in which this place has handled the lack of properly working ac units. Its the middle of summer and my apartment is without ac. You all have truly let me down. There hasnt even been any updates regarding when well have the ac back on again. Unfortunately, theres more to add to the disappointment Skyline at Kessler has contributed to my experience and those of many others that live here. Theres also very poor lighting in the parking garage and the visitor parking. This gives way to crime and violence. You much rather find towing companies than people who can fix your ac units! Do something about your opportunities! I somehow, someway think this place still has a chance.

Moved in a year ago and can say this place has come a long ways. Great views great price, some issues with water but it’s an old building so I get it. The people have gotten better to. Ms. Ashley is always nice and Ms. Veronica is sweet. I love the area born and raised in Oak Cliff this place has come a long ways.

I would never recommend for anybody. Ashley(property manager) doesn’t care about one but herself. She has a terrible attitude and talks over everyone. We’ve been without air for over two months and they do nothing about it. Me & my roommate have respiratory infection. We have inhalers now. We have been stopped by multiple residents saying they also don’t have any AC. I don’t have any kids thank God because a lady said her apartment has reached 90 degrees and she has a 8 month old. These conditions are not livable. It has gotten out of hand, I pray nobody has to go through what I have went through.

Total mess!Left with apartment better than I received it and they filled 4,000 claim against me. Beware!

I gave it a 3 star to leave room for improvement. Ive been here going on two years, and I appreciate the direction that the complex is going in. Keep up the excellent work, Ashley!

The place smells like some kind of voodoo incense as soon as you walk into the lobby. You would think they would present something fresher or crisp. Several windows have a variety of portable AC units hanging out of them, even with cardboard borders. Even in 95 degree weather, some of the windows were just wide open and had cats going in and out, which made me think there were climate control issues in those units. The building seems a bit aged, and the variety of smells from the lobby to the corridors showed that. I did speak to one polite young gentleman who said it was ok living there, another said it was run down, and there were several other tenants that looked thuggy, that I didnt even care to ask. There seemed to be notices that they were under new management and some remodeling was going on. Though the place doesnt seem like its completely run down, I couldnt muster up enough confidence over the property, and decided to just leave without talking to anyone in the office. May try again some other time..

Was charged application fee and a deposit 5 months ago, told them to cancel it and was told it was canceled and I should have been refunded yet nothing, they don’t answer any phone calls and never returned the multiple messages I left for them and the 1/100 time I actually talked to someone I was told refunds are super special for them and take 3 months to process and the manager would contact me back to let me know even if the refund process was started, never any call back. I just want my money back for 0 services provided by them, don’t know why it’s this hard.

I was lied to about how much off my first month rent and in the middle of summer I went three weeks and counting without ac and was continuously lied to about it getting fixed. And I dislike the thin walls.

I wouldn’t advise my worst enemy to stay in these apartments, to say this has been a horrible experience is an understatement, the staff is beyond trash, Ashley and vivan are passive aggressive, sociopath, who have totally disregard for human life. There approach to our problems have been lackadaisical to say the least. The water issues in this building is horrific, the infestation of roaches and sewer flies are sickening. We pay for pest control but they only spray and disinfect upon request….our AC has been out of commission with no real answers of when it’s coming back on. We are pursuing every legal action we can, for breach of contract. They advertise Central AC which doesn’t even work. As well as wifi but don’t even have the proper wires running into the apartment for spectrum to even hook up too. We have no exhaust fan in our restroom to circulate the air. How these apartments passed inspection, I have no clue. The housing authority needs to audit and shut these people down. Management here is a joke, I wouldn’t advise a homeless man to live here with his last penny. Every situation we have brought to there attention has been disregarded or handled improperly. “Skyline at Kessler park “ deserves negative stars. They told me i was accepted, i was scheduled to move in on the 29th, then today the 22nd i get an email saying my payment is being returned and my application was denied for the reason (no reason) and now they wont pick up the phone. Do not lease from here. They will leave you stranded and homeless like they did to me. Update 6/23 : they are now attempting to charge me money for the privilege of being denied. I will be getting a lawyer.

They changed the name from the view at Kessler to skyline at Kessler. Different name, but same horrible living conditions and staff. Get ready to have your car towed every month even though you’re a paying resident and the staff will just say that they’re nothing they can do and to deal with it yourself. Your rent might be 800 but with random penalty charges for trash and utilities that are way to expensive to make any sense and towing fees, you’ll be paying around 1200 or 1300 for a 500sqft studio apartment with no washer and dryer. The people that live there are very dangerous people. The building attracts the wrong crowd from the hood part of oak cliff because of its misleading cheap prices. There is also a lot of mold so you’ll be having respiratory problems after a year of living here.

Apartments with a fresh facelift and (finally) lockboxes for mail; but you will be charged for everything from stormwater/sewer fees to boiler-room fees. Maybe their friendly staff can go over all of that with you

Roaches roaches roaches very infested. Nothing gets done. Very unprofessional staff. Outrages utilities. I do believe we as tenants pay for their water leaks. Gunshots all the time. Very unsafe and office staff does not care or work on any issues. I believe some sort of embezzling going in here. I am so disappointed. I want OUT.

Had a 3pm appointment, arrived at 2:59 and was met with a lady who clearly did not want to be there and offered ZERO enthusiasm in showing the building. Went and viewed a model apartment on the first floor and could tell she was anxiously waiting for me to leave. Didnt provide any information about the apartment and had no concise answers to my questions. At the end of the tour, gave me her card and said when youre ready to apply do everything online. Just like that the tour ended, looked at my clock it was 3:03pm.Tour lasted less than 4 minutes, laughable.Wasnt shown anything beyond the first floor, the lobby was not welcoming whatsoever....for a building called the Skyline i wasnt even shown the top floor to view the SKYLINE.1st impression is everything and this definitely failed that test.....Ill give the apartment another shot and schedule another tour, maybe the lady had a bad day....

Worst apartment experience of my life. The pool is never open, utilities are more expensive than I ever thought possible, all packages get stolen, and management doesn’t care. They changed their name from The View because the reviews were so bad. Frequent billing errors, fights in the hallway, frequent leaks and floods, and you will never have AC or heater and running water at the same time. They always say they are “under new management” but they’re not. It’s the same people trying to hide from the consequences of scamming residents repeatedly. Don’t do it! It’s a trap.

What is the point of having a phone number if you guys never answer the phone? Very serious question, I feel like these people just run from their problems while getting paid for it.

They always say “Under New Management” so don’t believe it. The utility bills are outrageous and the water is shut off every other day. You can’t get packages here because they always get stolen and the management does nothing. The washing machines are usually broken and the pool, fitness center, and all the amenities they advertise are always closed. Every time you bring an issue to the management they just say “we’re working on it”. But they’re not. Don’t move here or you will be scammed and extorted on a monthly basis. Currently pursuing legal action, as if I even have time for that. What a nightmare.

It’s straight they do have lil maintenance problems at time when responding to situations for others that i have witnessed not to me personally.

This is the most disorganized building management ever. I signed my lease a month ago moving from NY to Texas only to find out that the apartment had no work done. Mold in the bathrooms, dirty mattress in the room, no work done whatsoever ever. STAY AWAY AND YOU WILL FIND BETTER. VIEW AT KESSLER SHOULD NOT EVEN RECEIVE A STAR

I’ve always admired this building from a distance. It Has that mid-century modern/1960 swing look to its design. One day, out of curiosity, I stopped by to see what it had to offer. Walking into the entrance I was met with some nice glam furniture and up to date remodeling. So far so good! But as I walked into the office, the first thing I noticed was the HUD certificates! Meaning government subsidizes rents! It was a section 8 building! Then I met the office staff. Most nice apartments have young attractive people working the new residence information areas. Not this place!!! Road lizards and heavy smokers they looked like! Yet, they were very nice and very surprised to see a well dressed middle aged white man walk into their office. They treated me with excitement and suspicion! Very odd. It was then that I started to notice the quality of the residence. I felt like I was at a hip-hop rappers convention. Now I’m sure there are so very nice residents that live here, but I could tell from what I saw, this was not my crowd. But wanting to see what the building had to offer, I continued. I was shown a “model apartment on the first floor. It was very clean and well decorated, but had no laundry room. I was told that no apartment had its own laundry room. That was a deal breaker. I was offered to view another apartment. That when things turned ugly!!! This one very large building has only two elevators! And they were trash!!! Onace I left the first floor, the entire building smelled of roach spray and nursing home!!! Disgusting!!!! The hall way are super narrow, long and dark! I was shown a recently cleared out apartment. The agent did warn me that the residence just moved out and that they had not started cleaning. Started cleaning? The previous resident totally trashed the place!!! There were holes in the wall, dog hair and stuff on the carpet, kitchen appliances broken and covered in grease as though the only thing the resident cooked was fried chicken. I couldn’t believe I was even shown the place in its current state!!! At that point, I said thank you for your time and good luck! Went down stairs to retrieve my documents and left very disappointed!!! Such a cool and interesting structure from the exterior, but it suffered from its management, up keep and its renters! The only way this place will return to its former glory is to spend lots of money on real renovations, raise the rents and get out from under that HUD designation!

The pictures and the apt look nice online but after reading these reviews I think I will continue to look. Glad I read these reviews. Wow.

Don’t move here period. These are like the projects just with regular rent. Absolutely nothing here works outside of your apartment. No theatre room nor clubhouse they lied about when showing the property. 30 guest parking spots and 300+ residents = your car getting towed. Which they also lied about

Absolutely disgusting. Apartments are roach infested and hideously filthy. Front staff is rude no matter what you need and the laundry facilities are broken more often than not.

My boyfriend and I chose The View at Kessler Park as our first home together. We hardly read through the reviews before moving in, but came into it with open minds. Over time we realized a lot of the bad reviews didnt hold true for us. We never had bug problems, and although the walls were on the thin side our neighbors never bothered us one bit. The elevator did break down a few times but they are always quick with repairs. We fell in love with the layout of the apartment which was incredibly spacious, and the massive windows gave us such a gorgeous view. The penthouse was a deal-breaker... the view was breathtaking. Sunshine was a huge help with any questions or concerns, and Rodger the maintenance man was always friendly and attentive. This is a great place if you have pets or just love being around them. The park was beautiful, the gym was a great perk... The cleaning ladies were so sweet. We are going to miss this place. ❤

DONT DO IT!!!Heat and A/C have not been working for almost 2 weeks now. I have called emergency maintenance a few times. I have submitted a request in person in the office and still nothing. i also went and bought pool balls and pool sticks to pay pool just to find out they keep it locked after hours. So anybody with a regular job will not have an opportunity to use these facilities. The workout room only has about 3 out of an entire set of dumb bells. the office never ever answers the phone. Every night I hear either a gunshot, somebody getting beat, or noise from the parking lot.

Went to look at apartments and the first thing you saw was roaches inside and outside the building, everywhere we went.

I have met some of the very best people in the world here. Some terrific neighbors. The place has gone down significantly. Dog poop on the sidewalks and stairwells DAILY. The messages posted all over are all negative and threatening. Elevator down as I write this post no written communication about our needs like the elevators but threats of lease violations and towing policies. The towing policy was handed out as they ran out of the door for the day stating that towing will begin tonight. No customer focus at all. You are more likely to be treated like inmates at a penal institution than a paying customers. Stay away from the View. By the way you can enjoy that view during business hours only sometimes in case that is what you were expecting from a place called the View. Just saying

Extremely ghetto. Smell like weed/urine for sure. The customer service is so unprofessional. They have NO RESPECT FOR THEIR RESIDENTS. New management is racist and extremely rude. They won’t let you tell them about any concerns you may have with the apartment. There is leaks and big water puddles on every floor. The theater room never worked ( still don’t ), it’s so much that don’t work so you aren’t really paying for what you deserve. They deserve no star.

I am thankful for social media. I am currently looking for a studio and was told about this place. After reading all the comments, I am seriously horrified. I have noticed that every time someone has a complaint, it’s the same generic response. Again, glad for people speaking up about their experience. Thanks. I have made my mind not to live here.

I signed my lease under different management. The current management fails to meet my expectations. There is dog poop or pee in the stairwells (that doesn’t ever get cleaned) I’ve had throw up outside of my door on multiple occasions that I have literally had to step over to go to work. Oh and the biggest kicker is that not 1 but both eleveators are down. This is an 11 story building with some elderly residents. I know that not having an elevator that is operational violates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) code compliance. At least 1 elevator has been non-operational since before Labor Day. It is now almost December. The other elevator will get repaired and not work that same day. If the elevators aren’t going to work properly there at least needs to be some sort of compensation on rent or something. The elevators not working is making simple tasks difficult. How many trips is a single person supposed to make to bring groceries into their residence? For those who live on higher floors at least have the restrooms downstairs open and available in case they can’t make it. The issues that this building under this management is experiencing is completely asinine. The building is filthy and management doesn’t seem to care. Dog poop or pee is always in the stairwells. The building smell like week. I’ve had to step over human puke right outside of my door just to get to work. Don’t even get me started on how rude management is. I don’t understand how a resident can walk into the office and not a single employee greets you or much less look up from the computer or phone. Not a single employee in the front office is friendly or seem happy to be there. If the own management isn’t happy to be at the View at Kessler Park Apartments then why should renters be happy. I picked the location due to the proximity to downtown and the price. I ignored all of the reviews because I like to give everything and everyone the benefit of the doubt but I am regretting my decision to rent here and wouldn’t recommend the apartments to anyone. Save yourself trouble and rent somewhere else.

I have lived here for almost two years now. Had to break my lease because I found a much better job in Colorado. Leasing office wouldnt consider my relocation a reason to not charge their fees, has really put me in a bind for money. Over priced in my opinion for the location and condition of apartments. I live in a 370 sq ft studio (1 bed 1 bath with half kitchen) that I pay $600 for. Community washer and dryers that will cost about $2.75 to do one load of laundry(washers often break down). Frequently valet trash isnt on time. People dont clean up after their dogs and hallways/stairwells usually smell like trash or pee. Pool area is nice but crowded. The Geese will attack you. And good luck finding decent parking past 8:00 p.m. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Bait and switch place. the website makes it seem like the highrise already has luxury amenities. There is no lounge on the to floor. the lady didnt even both showing us the pool and rushed us out. After seeing comments about how they are racist-I can see it. the lady didnt even bother getting my information. The bedrooms are so outdated and the leasing office lies about completion and also do not answer questions about how to rent the units online that are avaible in two years!! two years is odd so i assumed those would be the upgraded units but no. thats just to get you to come in for a tour and try to give you a basic unit for three times the price. this place also has made up fees. like a heating room fee. no other old industrial or historical buildings have that.

I had once written a stellar review of View. I must retract and replace. After a change in manager, View is back to the practices that made this place 1-Star. Empty promises, broken equipment, no help from the owners, who are selling the facility, lackluster service from maintenance. If you have a choice, go somewhere else. If you don’t, welcome. The residents are all nice. It seems like we’re in this mess together. What else are we going to do? Don’t take it out on the girls at the front, they just work here. Just finish paying my final bill and I am so glad I am out. The apartment complex is old and you can feel it. The hallways are always leaking from busted pipes, residents leaving there trash in the hallways for hours smelling the the whole hall. Dog pee, cat pee and rat pee. Washer and dryers units that are not cleaned daily, which make your clothing smell after washing. All kinds of weird people in and out of the building. Creepy maintenance man. Broken elevators for weeks. The allocated bills go up and up even though I was never at the apartment. I never felt like I had a home while living here. Im so glad its over with now. Ive moved to a beautiful part of uptown and Im loving my new apartment home.

Do not i repeat do not move in here they over charge you for rent and they dont fix anything around the apartment our sink has been clog for six weeks now and they havent come by to fix it all the doors around the complex are broken the hallways are covered in trash and reak of dog piss there is holes everywhere on ceiling the elevators are constantly breaking down and never bother to fix them and if you have anything delivered it will get stolen

From looking at the only website and from the price ranges i considered moving here. One thing Ive learned after reading each and every review is that all these people have almost the same problems. Staff, bugs, cleanliness, and thin walls. Everyone cant be lying. Im optimistic and like giving people a fair chance but these reviews are ridiculous. The biggest issue I also saw is that when management does reply to a bad review its with a rehearsed letter they to every issue. That leads me to believe that management truly doesnt care. Even after the reviews i will still go check this place out in person and even ask the current residents how they like it. But its a 1% chance i will be moving here.

Well one of the elevators has been broken since July and it’s November now, the other elevator just broke down the other day. The air never worked they put a AC window unit in here, now that it’s getting cold guess what else doesn’t work THE HEAT!!!!! Trying to carry groceries and etc up and down 11 flights of stairs is a pain in the rectum, also I have a dog that can’t even make it up and down the stairs so I have to pick her up when she’s tired and she’s like 50 pounds

Lived here for a year. Utilities were outrageous and were included in the rent. The bills just went up and up with no explanation. AC broke at least three times and it leaked all over the cheap plastic carpet. Maintenance peeled the carpet back to dry and then left it like that for the duration of my miserable stay here. I froze to death during the winter. If you want parking you better pay for a spot. Everything is filthy. There is trash sitting in the halls and peoples pets pee on the floor. The elevators are frequently broken. There are tiny communal laundries on each floor. Blech! Management was awful when I lived here but I heard they were fired and a new set of management moved in after my departure. Also, the surrounding hood is pretty bad. I moved out a month early and it was like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. This place was the WORST place I ever lived. If you work hard and want to come home to peace and quiet, run far away from this dump. Also, there was a class action lawsuit about overcharging for utilities. I was included and awarded some money so I did recoup some of my losses.*****Beware the 5-star reviews. A lot of them have only ever reviewed this godawful dump. Thats a red flag.*****

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. i stayed there for 3 years. My utility bills were always messed up. The elevator is always broken. It stinks. Manager is hard to get a hold of. I moved out ending of February and they charged me for an extra day. I kept trying to talk to the manager to let her know that i am not going to pay my final bill until they remove the extra day. I was unable to get a hold of the manager Diana. To make a long story short, they wrote it off and it is now on my rental record. DO NOT RENT HERE. They lie about the amenities.

Its okay for the price. A little disappointed in the bathroom but I get a lot of bang for my $. Just changed management and its been a change for the better. Lots of activities for the residents. Love the workout facilities. Im not a pet owner but this is a very pet friendly community. My concern with the pets have to do with the owners not picking up after them.

These apartments are complete trash. I moved in June 2018 and my central air was not working, they gave me a window unit which went in the only window I had. They also knocked $50 off my rent each month but I later realized the ac unit used more electricity. I got a new central air unit 2 months later it worked for a day then went out. I was the then told they had just taken it from another apartment. I finally received an actual new one mid December 2018 which worked for almost a month. When that stopped working I had to speak with one of the office staff b/c they dont have an office manager right now. I gave my notice and said I would speak to a lawyer if they did not let me out. I moved out the end of January. I just now received a call from Diane(one of the acting managers) and she asked if I could return the AC unit, which I havent had since December. Also theyre charging me for utilities when I was told my deposit would cover. Theres dog pee and poop in the hallways and stairwells, the walls are so thin I could hear her my neighbors bf on the other end of the phone from inside my apartment, roaches, gate breaks every other week and one of the elevators is always out of service. These apartments are chrap and thats where the positives end, do yourself a favor and dont move in!!

The AC in my apartment was not working for the entire summer, and management refused to fix it. Someone in the leasing office told me to “take a cold shower.” One of the elevators has been broken for over 2 months. The other elevator was broken for 6 consecutive days. When both elevators are broken, the trash service can’t come pick up the trash, so the hallways are full of trash bags. It’s disgusting. I live on the 11th floor, so carrying groceries up the stairs was such a pain. The leasing office doesn’t answer their phone or respond to voicemails. And the corporate office is just as bad. I have lived in this building for 5 years. I had no complaints until TI Communities started managing the building. Hopefully one day this building will again become a nice place to live, but I warn everyone reading this not to sign a lease with TI Communities. They are completely incompetent and won’t take any responsibility for their failures to manage the building properly.

This has by far been the worst place I have ever lived. Despite the fact that the staff is friendly, it doesnt change the fact that this place will steal your deposit, overcharge you for utilities, never fix anything—I lived without working A/C for over a month during the summer. You can find better places in the area for the same price or cheaper. Dont waist your time or money.

Hi! I was referred to The View at Kessler Park just 2 days ago by a co-worker. She will be moving in soon. I decided to read the reviews because I am having a terrible time in my apartments due to leaks, no heat, no hot water, bugs, rodents, trash outside, no maintenance, and the list goes on and on....I refuse to move somewhere else where the staff is unresponsive, rude, the premises are not up to standard, most of the tenants are unhappy and there is nothing you an do about it. I refuse. I saw all of the beautiful photos and the market rent amounts recently and decided to send the office an email to schedule a tour. No response to date - red flag. I get so tired of reading tenant reviews from residents all over DFW who live in apartments and are treated as if they should be satisfied with all of the lease violating stuff that goes on. No help, no corrections from Management, no resolve. People should not have to live with ROACHES!!! This is ridiculous. I guess Im going to have to continue my search. Thanks to you all for the reviews. I believe you because there are too many people with the exact same complaints. Sad....

I used to live in these high rises. I’m also a public figure in Dallas Ft Worth so take this review very seriously. Don’t ever move here or any other property TI Communities is over. The entire staff of the leasing office from the The View all the way up to the corporate level will BS you all the way until they finally let you out of your lease. Also do not expect any maintenance requests to be answered in a timely manner. If you have a pet do not expect a deposit back they will call it a fee and when you leave they will not refund it. The gates never work, the key fobs are useless if the doors are always unlocked. I battled with them for months and a BBB complaint was filed for a number of issues with this property. They never responded. The worst leasing office staff to date. It’s a revolving door. Don’t do it. Fair warning

The new manager Justin keeps his word! Previous management was horrible and didnt fix nothin. Horrible pest issues etc. Then Mr. Justin started and the new office team came in and started fixing everything. I am not afraid to have friends come over anymore. The pests are gone from my apartment like he promised when they switched companies. With the other peoples I would not have recommended livin here but with the new staff I recommend it. I cant wait to see what yall do with the renovations here.

Walked in to a foul smelling building and walked into the leasing office. There were 2 women and 1 man who was on a phone call. No one greeted us which we didn’t expect the man handling business to but the other 2 heffers just ignored us. The wench with the blonde wig was back there putting on lipstick and the other wench was just sitting at her desk idle. Very bad way to start a business transaction. Then when we asked about the even space, they told us they were only leasing it to tenants right now. THANK GOD! Because if this is the way you treat potential business, we definitely want to take it somewhere else! We gladly walked out of that place. You can modernize the hood, but it’s still the hood when you have careless employees running the place 👎🏽

Lived here for a year now and the staff can be super rude when you live here but when you first move in it’s peaches and cream, it’s all an act and they also like to blame us for sweeping trash into the hallway which we never do cause we are clean people and like to throw it in the trash bag and we got a fee for that! We also got a fee for having huge trash bags! You ask the management for anything and they give you this look of attitude and I’m like what? You aren’t doing anything but sit on your butts all day. I mean really! Do not live here! It sucks...

Well was excited about moving here until I read the reviews. Hopefully, the Administration gets better. Maybe next time in life - lol

This place deserves no stars!! WARNING DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! PAY ATTENTION TO THE COMMENTS BELOW!!!! UNLESS you like roaches, hearing rats screeching clawing in the vents, rude a$$ staff with attitudes, the smell of dead animals mixed with weed & a hint of dog sh!t, old mildewed water in the hallways, occasional flooding in your apartment, loud a$$ air conditioner that sounds like an old truck starting up constantly, thin walls were you can hear your neighbors WHOLE conversations @ 3am in the morning, one working elevator sometimes none, climbing up dog pooped stairs with groceries because both elevators are down at times.... & you can get all of this for a quoted price of 977 no more than 1200 (which is understandable because utilities are included) but all of a sudden changed and gone ALL the way up to 1400 -1600 for a 2 bedroom..... this place is full of sh!t... (literally & physically) & and i cant wait til my lease is up!

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE. I ignored the reviews because the pricing seemed fine and thought I would give it a chance. I regret it and am considering to pay to get out of my lease. Nothing ever works. The gates are always broken. Tonight for example, everyone was stuck because the exit gate wouldn’t open. So we all had to wait for someone to come in to go out the entrance gate. The front door never locks so anyone can get into the building. The hallways always smell like weed. The heater and AC never work and they claim to “fix it” but do absolutely nothing. The windows leak and they done nothing about it. The elevators are always broken down. Every time you put in a maintenance request it is closed before they even take a look at it. There is black stuff coming out with the water and the shower water tempature never stays consistent it goes from extremely cold to extremely hot. And the people in the office think people are stupid and always make up dumb excuses. It’s not an adequate place for people to live in it’s terrible and someone should really do something about it because it’s ridiculous.

The apartment looks nice when touring! But once you move in the staff has horrible customer service for the amount you pay! You go down to the office and if the leasing agents are out might as well leave the managers that stay in the back office cant be bothered to help even if theres no one out there in the front. You get a they will be back soon and a door shut saying do not disturb. If theres no one in the front you will be waiting until they are back there which sometimes can be 30 mins to an hour. Also when trying to talk to a manager it may not happen they are always doing this or that or wont even talk to you but the leasing agent to tell you their answers. The staff needs to step up. The leasing agents cant help half of the time because some of the things require a manager but they are too busy to come out and help you never see them. Not worth time to come tour the place or the money. You are overcharged for bad service and a not so safe community.

Wow Im so happy I googled this place and read the reviews before filling out an application thanks for the warning.....Man I have never seen such a nice looking place get so many bad review. Maybe the DPD should look into this place... Guess I wont be moving into this place...So sad that with so many complain I see no answer from Management to correct them. That is a big sign for me not to even come this way.

With all do respect, DO NOT MOVE HERE ! This is literally the worst place to move into. I made the mistake of disregarding the reviews because I like to give people a chance but this place ! HECK NO ! Paper work with the leasing agent was easy, she made everything seem nothing was wrong. The first day of moving my stuff, the apartment smelled like weed and urine. THE ENTIRE BUILDING SMELLS LIKE WEED AND URINE ! IT WAS HORRIBLE. I walked in my apartment and there was already roaches prior to my stuff being moved in. I had roaches that had eggs laying in the middle of the floor. I ended up buying my own stuff so that I can get rid of them myself. As the days passed by, the smell and noise level was ridiculous. They say they have a courtesy office which may have been true but every timed I called no one would answer. There was a few times where I had to sleep at friends homes because of the noise level that would go on. There was constant water puddles in the hallway from leakage from the ceilings. Trash was constantly everywhere. I really dreaded coming to a place I called home. Everything was so filthy. Me and my friends got stuck in the elevators twice. The elevators work when they want. Also there was a accident on the fifth floor which involved evacuation but none of the fire alarms went of, there was no type of warning for us to exit. Now rent, for what I paid for was ridiculous. My rent constantly went up and I could never get an explanation. All I got was the conservice utility bill shown to me. I could never get a break down. There was constant hidden fees. I am surprised my bill didnt reach the $1,000 for the studio I was paying for. The staff was nice in the beginning but always acted lazy and rude. Everyday for them was an attitude, they never answered the phone. Really regret living here. NEVER AGAIN!

The only pros about this complex are the location and the somewhat updated apartments. I do want to say that Sunshine and Keonna in the office are the most pleasant out of all of the staff. I am so glad to have moved out. From beginning to end, I experienced issues.The walls are extremely thin, paper thin. When they renovated these apartments they did not think to insulate them, so the walls are straight sheet rock. I was able to hear my neighbors in detailed conversation, amongst other noises (such as snoring). I lived in a studio, so maybe it was different from those who lived in a one-two bedroom, but that was my experience. I am in school full time and work full time, so for me it was terrible to have lived in an apartment where I could hear everything at all hours of the day and night.When I initially moved in, my apartment was filthy. I sent a very lengthy email upon my move in to let them know that the apartment was dirty. They told me I should have listed that on my inventory list, however all of my items had been moved in and I was not going to sleep in a dirty apartment or wait for them to clean it, so I cleaned it myself. (dog hair, feces in toilet, residue on walls etc). Oh and after a long day of cleaning I went to shower to find that it wasn’t working, just my luck. When moving out, I cleaned up and they ended up charging me a $55.00 cleaning fee because some of the appliances were not sparkling clean (as if it had been that way to begin with). If you did not provide me the courtesy of cleaning the apartment for a new resident, why should I slave away on cleaning when leaving?I was very detailed and kept record of every email and complaint I had, along with pictures and videos. The manager did accommodate me by allowing me to leave earlier than expected due to all of the issues.

Why do they never answer the phone?

PROS: Staff is super friendly and works hard. So far I have gotten all my questions answered. The price for the apartments are great. The community of people are friendly as I do talk to people on the elevator all the time. The View from the 11th floor is Amazing as you can see the Downtown Skyline not to mention all other amenities. Online Rent Paying and Work Orders its a definite plus.CONS: The staff could be a little more organize but they do receive a lot of traffic as that its self explanatory. Again they will take care of you as long as you ask. The work order took about a week to get done that could be cut down to 3 days. Elevators do take awhile to come up and down.

Since the first day I moved in here I knew I made a bad decision. There are cockroaches in every cabinet, there is a horrible smell that the office staff masks when you come to visit, the appliances look nice and new but most are broken, and the worst part of it all is the service. I have NEVER reviewed a place before, whether my experience was awful or fantastic I usually keep my opinion to myself; however, its to the point where I feel like this place is a scam and it would be unkind of me to not warn others. Do not waste your hard earned money on this place. I have videos and photos of how disgusting my experience has been for the past 12 days here, if anyone is interested comment below and I will send it to you. Like I said I dont normally review places and Im not sure how to post pictures, however I wish someone would have told me what I was getting into before I signed a lease here.

I disregarded the reviews I saw before moving in, in April. Bad choice. The neighbours are all so nice and friendly, thats the best part. I was sold on the view of the city on the 8th floor. I didnt know so many issues would come. I needed the elevators to help me, especially after still healing from a broken femur. Its difficult to take stairs. But the elevators keep breaking down.The fact that the rent is increasing, and its not correctly explained to you before moving in is horrible. Hoping that someone else takes over the property before this place destroys. It has so much potential. However the constant flooding from everyones units, into the hallway is completely unsafe, and unhealthy. I noticed my sons complaining of headaches, but I thought maybe it was from them going swimming so much. After becoming frustrated with the $200, $300 change in amount of rent EACH month. I decided to just move, for my own sanity. Im already aware of the constant flooding in the hall, coming from i assume the water heaters, peoples dishwashers, it leaked from under my garbage disposal as well. So mold was there. My floor rugs were ruined, and molded. I also found mold and mildew above the toilet on the ceilings . So that would explain my sons headaches. When mentioned, there was no sense of urgency. Work orders kept getting closed, after not being fixed or even looked at. Maybe since I was up so high, the winds are harder. Because a window cracked during a storm, 2 months later it shattered from the recent storms. Was there any sense of urgency....no. The window was cracked from June till i moved out end of August. There was another storm around that time, and the window shattered. I reported it, but no one came to cover it or anything. Just let it rain inside 🤷🏾‍♀️i enjoyed the view of the city while there, but a peace of mind is lot less stressful. Especially when you feel welcomed by the front office family. I didnt have that from Shae and Diane, or the two that shadow them.

Cockroaches EVERYWHERE, dirty, trash/rotten food in halls, urine/feces/vomit in elevator on a daily basis. Elevators are unsafe, appliances are 70 years old and also unsafe.

DONT LIVE HERE EVERRRRR!!!Annoyed. I hate it here . The worst place I’ve ever lived and I’m from the hood. The office staff is rude . I walked into the office and there was no greeting, no how can I help you, didn’t even acknowledge my existence, absolutely no customer service. One of them was smiling at her phone until I walked in like I interrupted her life. After a few seconds of me standing in the office in silence, I just blurted out “I need to pay my rent” and that’s when I was acknowledged. That’s what I’m annoyed about today . This place is filthy, roaches all over the halls, poop and urine are everywhere. Stairwells are disgusting, there is always some sort of bodily fluid either on the walls or the floor. My sister’s car was stolen after she came to visit from Houston. (She has to take the megabus back). Was told the camera in the parking lot doesn’t reach to where my sister was parked so it’s nothing they can do. My AC has been out a little over 9 months. We have an window unit that only cools our bedroom so everywhere else in my apartment is way too hot to even sit in . Gates always broken, both elevators have gone out for weeks to months at a time . Whoever owns this property should be ashamed. My fiancé had surgery recently and has been out of work so we’re trying to get back on our feet before we move . I really hope I can be freed of this place ASAP!!!

No security, shootings happening in the parking lot cars got shot during this wild wild west shoot out happening in the parking lot while people were out side walking dogs getting into their cars etc. Homeless people just hanging around the lobby or outside by the fire pit. People who dont live in the apartments hanging in the entertainment area for free wifi or to play pool. Nothing but thugs with tattoos on their face drug users and dealers stay here not a family environment.

When I lived there here all I can smell is smoke that got to the point my fish died an it was always cold

Horrible/ghetto customer service from the office staff. They wont even look at you when you come in. Horrible, and unkept building. When it rains you will find a huge pool of water in your apartment the next morning. rent is not itemized - if you happen to get an itemized bill, it is most likely incorrect and you overpay after the fact. poor security - gates are left open. you may not be able to exit the property due to malfunctioning gates. huge THEFT area - people will try to come in your apartment and the office may take up to 8 weeks to replace your locks.. hmm what else? horrible smells, urine, weed, etc. laundry units DO NOT work. just dont move here, great location, other than that, spend more money and live elsewhere. you WILL regret moving here.

I lived at this property for a year. Just moved out a few weeks ago.If you can avoid living here, please do. Its not the safest (no lighting in garage parking - shoot out in garage never reported to residents). The exit gate is always left open for easy entry to all. One of their elevators have been shut down for months. The halls/staircases smell like urine/marijuana/throw up most of the time. Went without an AC unit for up to 2 weeks (other residents reported theirs being for months). Bugs are a thing here.I honestly didnt plan on writing a bad review for this property, but I just got off the phone with a sweet lady (who I eventually hung up on - too angry to talk anymore, which is my fault) who tried to convince me that it made total sense for them to charge me TWO months worth of utilities after moving out. 1) I paid $222 when I turned in my keys and was told that this amount was the final bill 2) They sent me an invoice deducting my $150 deposit from a new final bill and stated that I owe them a balance.It. Does. Not. Add. Up. Avoid living here, for your own sanity. Kontour at Kessler Park has been AMAZING so far! Check them out, down the street. Its a little more pricy, but definitely worth it.

This is the worst place I have ever lived! They implemented a new process when i was living there and towed my car...but i lived there. The manager at the time, gave me a discount to get the car back and i had to really push for that. However they should have just brought my car back once they saw i lived there. The place is not kept up well, there was vandalism over the hallways and the floors are nasty. Residents allow their dogs to urine everywhere and they dont clean it so it smells on some floors. They went through 3 managers when I lived there. I only lived there for 1 year and did not renew! So that shows you there own workers do not want to be there. There was a shooting where peoples windows of their car were broken. They came in my apartment without notice. This was a very unprofessional place to work with. I could go on an on about the issues I had, from day one i started out with bugs invading my food, they were living in the cabinets. Do not stay here! Please save yourself the trouble.

Listen guys if you are a nice productive person who does not wish to be bothered, DO NOT LIVE HERE!! I am serious guys this place is ghetto you will see.. just tonight a fight broke out in the hallway beer cans all over the floor, my car was TOWED too! I LIVE HERE! Probably going to have to pay an extorted fee also. It just never ends expect people to be asking you favors because everyone here is poor this place sucks. The stairways have blood stains, poop stains, etc.. The walls are SUPER thin cockroaches always in your house. I have had enough

There is a lot to say about this place. From the outside it is nice, and the view is absolutely gorgeous. However we have had problems with roaches, unpleasant smells everywhere in the building, and not to mention the walls are so thin you hear everything! You pay for what you get here, my advice would be to spend the extra money to live in a clean place with a little more privacy.

Please do not lease from this property or Pinnacle Living in general. I have reported that there is constant drug use on my floor as well as other common areas in the apartment complex and I had been told to reach out to the on-call police officer and I never get a response back. I emailed the regional property manager several times and she had told me that it is not in the on-call police officers job description to approach drug use in the apartment building?On top of that the parking is terrible at this complex. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything and everyone through all hours of the night. You receive random added charges to your monthly rent that were not spoken about up front in your lease agreement. I have had to have my heat and a/c fixed in the small 2 month time frame that I have lived here and maintenance rarely comes to fix things unless you call them multiple times. The complex is constantly dirty and its embarrassing to bring guest over.Do not lease from here, spend the addition money to be in safer and better living conditions.

Do not move in these nasty looking apts it smell like weed everywhere you go and they take forever fixing things for ex... the elevators still dont work and its been over 3 mouths so now when its time to go up everybody is waiting like 5-10mins to get on because we are having to wait on one to come down and btw the pictures are all lies

DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS. I havent even been here a year and my AC has gone out, heater and I just came home from a long day at work today to a flooded apartment! I certainly dont recommend this place. Its always dirty, the elevator has been out since forever and I dont know why we have those useless magnets to have access if theres entry for EVERYONE. My rent is not cheap at all to have so many issues constantly. I regret not looking into this place more before I moved in.

The worst apartments by far!1. Management is trash2. Maintnance requests take months and months to get done after being closed out a couple of times and no one even comes out then you have to reach out to Corprate a couple of times to finally get something done and work order still not complete !3. Do not expect great costumer service4. I suggest y’all clean up the office staff along with Maintnace because everything is done very poorly around here . I love living here. The staff are very nice and love my dog, Charlie. Its close to Bishop Arts and my work. People only review when they have something bad to say. Its great for the price.Update. This place turned out awful for me. My air was broken for 3 weeks. I left the window open for my dog and he fell out the window and died. Then they took my deposit for absolutely nothing. This is no joke. This place is so terrible. The new staff is evil. I am very easy going but no. I regret moving here. This place needs to be shut down.

Bad experience moving in apartment was not ready. I had to wait almost 2 hrs with my movers also waiting to unload. Had to pay extra for that. Moving out is worse Im still waiting for them to replay to my email and phone calls. Office staff dont care and always have a unfriendly face and arent helpfully at all. I dont recommend this place at all. Im glad Im gone now.

Run away from this place far away. I dont have option for 0 stars to rate her that is a reason why I give one star. I hed cockroaches, elevators are sometimes not working, or very dirty or oil lick in middle of them, shower was in horrible condition and no one come to replace tiles because thay need to replace whole shower. I didnt hed heat during winter( maximum temp was 65 deg), and during hot period I didnt hed condition or cooling (in that days minimal temp was 85 deg). Thay told me I can leave accommodation in any time just I need to request 90 before that. Then when I said that thay said, no you must respect 90 days before for leaving accommodation when is your contract over. Thay told me first floor is free for parking in garage then when towing service pick up my car thay said, no 3rd floor is free for parking.And workers are unprofessional and rude sometimes. Now I have 2700 bill I dont know for what but thay probably Im not gonna pay that.And after all this if you want this accommodation youre welcome...

We decided to ignore the negative reviews since some mentioned it was under new management. If you can avoid it, do not move here. If you do move here make sure you know the number for the people that own the property, TI Communities. The only time anything maintenance wise was actually done was when we called and let them know that no one answered our maintenance request, emails, or phone calls at the front office.I will start from inside our unit and work through the whole property. There were constant roaches in our unit despite us always keeping the house clean. We even saw roaches in the the panel of our oven. We had put in a maintenance request to have it taken care of (the start of us realizing that maintenance is not helpful). After 2 weeks of not hearing about any help from maintenance we finally bought traps and that helped with the situation. One of the vents was somehow connected to our neighbors so we would always smell either their gross food or the weed they were smoking. Our neighbors would also blast their music at 2 or 3 in the morning until I banged on the wall or got up and knocked on their door and told them to stop. This was a weekly thing. Next, our AC stopped working 4 separate times (this was during the summer). Everytime we would make a maintenance request and tried to contact the front office no one would answer their phones or emails. We would literally walk downstairs and see them in their office just talking and ignoring phone calls. We would wait 2-3 weeks before someone came to fix it. Our shower was extremely small, even for my wife who is 52 and not nearly as wide as I am. On the topic of the shower, Im not sure if this was specific to our unit or if everyone else had this issue but the temperature of the water would never stay consistent. It would go from lukewarm to scolding hot no matter how much we played with the knobs. In our hallway there were several units that had leaks and so the hallway leading to everyones doors were surrounded by puddles of water. Our unit started having the same issue and our entry way was covered in water. The complexs solution? Mop it up once every week even though the puddle in the hall would return minutes later. After 3 maintenance request (that were marked as completed even though no one came) it was finally taken care of.The property as a whole is a mess. We have a dog and had to carry her to the dog park every time because people drink in the parking lot and then leave their bottles everywhere to get get smashed and have glass spread everywhere, so beware if you have pets. I am glad I kept my gym membership because half the machines do not work and there are only three dumbbells to use. People will drop food and not pick it up so halls are constantly messy and attract cockroaches.I think the most frustrating part about living at The View has been the horrible front office staff. They never answer their phones or emails even though they are obviously in the office. They have the audacity to give you an attitude when you go to the them in person and ask to have your issues resolved. There was a time when I called the property managers about my AC. The people at the front told the management people that I had not submitted a maintenance request. While the property manager was telling me this over the phone I got a notification that the request I did not submit was completed. Funny, since I was off work that day and no one came to fix my AC. The front office people are lazy and do not care about doing their jobs.
