I lived here for three years. After they billed me over $1000 at moveout to replace a stove that was not damaged or broken, and kept threatening to send me to collections, I had to take legal action to resolve things--respectful direct communication didnt work. Concierge is great (yep Shaun is the best), units are nice, security has faltered over the years, elevators became a hot mess, and office managers pretend to care about tenants but have zero respect for their reliable, responsible residents (e.g. I got candy on my door for being a COVID healthcare worker hero, yet they try to scam me out of a thousand dollars during a pandemic...classy). If you live here or plan to live here, document EVERYTHING.
Amazing views and great staff! For the price you cant get a better view of the Dallas skyline or of the Texas sunsets. The pool is amazing as you have a clear view of American airlines center and reunion tower. The gym is very hard to beat with ample equipment / space. The leasing office has been very welcoming and maintenance has been very attentive on resolving any issue you have. Gio on the leasing staff is incredible and I highly recommend as he is very personable and always willing to help.
So I am 38 years old and have lived in a lot of high rises and mid-rises of this style and type since I was 20 and in my 20’s I straight up would move just for sport but being 38 now and boasting almost 5 years at Amli Design District you can understand the gravity of what I’m about to tell you. The Amli Design District has the best views in the city hand to god. You see the freeway is below on one side adjacent to the parking lot so you don’t get any freeway noise but you reap the advantage of not having another building all up way close. And check it, the American Airlines Center parking lot is just on the other side of I-35 from Amli Design District so that extends the distance that you can see even further. I measured it with a range finder and the apparatus maxed out at 5,000 feet but that’s how far you can see before running into any obstruction and I’m barely on the 10th floor out of 24 stories! The other nice things about Amli Design District are that if you forget something in your car or need to receive a delivery at street level you can rush out of your apartment and be down there to either your car or street level respectively I mean likidy split! Added Bonus: You could make the entire trip in your pajamas if you really had to because Amli Design District is very private and the socio-motion passes me and my neighbors past one another probably once per month if that. Maintenance is very responsive and knows these apartments quite well. They have actually never spent more than 15 minutes fixing anything for me, ever! They always have the parts on the cart and never run off and make me wonder what happened to them like what happens a lot at other places. There’s a vehicle break in or total loss every now and then but all things considered I feel like my friends talk about that happening where they live in uptown way more and I think it’s way worse over there. People really don’t even consider the Amli Design District being here. It’s like a place maybe you pass right by on the freeway every day buy never consciously know it exists. I like nooks like that. The street out front is beautiful with wide medians filled with grass and even historical statues! Lastly, I legit saw the main manager of the building leave at midnight then they came in the next morning at 7:00am and just luck would have it I saw them again as they walked through the front doors and they looked right as rain and ready to conquer the day but yea the manager and all the staff has a lot of pressure on them and they work extremely well with it. The weekend concierges don’t work for Amli Design District but we get some really good ones some how. The weekend concierge believe it or not is the longest serving employee at Amli Design District.
From the moment I walked in EVERYONE from the Concierge all the way to the leasing office made me feel welcomed. Gio (one of the leasing agents) made the application process so easy. I have never been to a property where everything was literally signed & done within 24 to 48 hrs. The location is perfect. Literally in the middle of everything. The view is crazyy dope. I was unaware that I had to reserve the freight elevator to get everything moved in so I waited last minute to do it and someone had already reserved it on the exact day that I had to leave my old apartment so I was a little stressed out but Braeyhane was completely optimistic & made sure to get me in which made my move in process completely stress free. I can go on & on but I’ll wrap it up by saying if your looking for a new home. Just stop here. You’ve found it!!!
The process was easy and Brae was very helpful!
First I would like to thank Braeyhane for her great customer service she made my rental process easy and fast with in 24 hours everything was ready for me to sign and move in thank you again amli design for being my new place of residence
Im updating my list of goods and bads below because after 3 years here, Im moving out as Im relocating out of Texas.Good things about this place:1) The building, overall, is quite attractive. I like the modern design and the solid construction. You dont generally hear much noise from neighbors (except people in the hallways). There is a little highway noise, but that is to be expected.Update: The matter now is that the building and elevators (and hallways on my floor, at least) constantly smell of weed. Ive encountered people who were clearly dealers in the elevator who were let in by the concierge or management. This may or may not be a problem for you.2) The parking garage is very spacious and you get a space per leased bedroom or for an extra fee, an assigned space. Guest parking is easily accessible and most of the time there are plenty of spaces available when residents arent being lazy and using these spaces.Update: I got an EV in June and Im usually the only one using one of the 3 resident EV chargers (J1772/6.6 kW/18A). Theyre FCFS and free for residents as of this writing. Ive contacted management to attempt to keep ICEing down, but it hasnt really been a problem so far.3) The pool/lounge/fitness area has a beautiful view of Downtown Dallas, and the pool is a great place to hang out and get some sun on a hot day. Spectacular views all around, really.4) Theyve generally been quick about answering my service requests but the quality of work is mediocre.5) In general, the concierge staff is very helpful but there tends to be some turnover.6) The location is great. Its close to AAC and Victory Station, as well as the Katy Trail. The restaurant in the side of the building disappeared earlier this year, unfortunately, right as they finally got their act together. There are other options that are very close by, and you get all this without being in the middle of the disaster that is Victory Park and Uptown.Bad things about this place:1) Elevator issues: One elevator was down for about two months awhile back and there were one or two days where no elevators worked for a period of time. As for the garage gates, there used to be issues but they seem to have diminished.Update: no issues in the past few months with gates or elevators.2) Guest parking spaces are frequently occupied by residents vehicles. There are also a few residents who will park in ADA/handicap spaces without proper tags.Update: theyre just now stepping up parking enforcement.3) The parking garage experiences periodic break-ins (mostly in guest parking, but not all) that seem to correlate with Salons of Dallas moving into the building.Update: AMLI installed some additional parking arm gates to supplement existing gates, and they hired the local security company to patrol regularly. Not sure how effective it is.4) The concierge is sometimes difficult about letting guests in, even when policy is followed. My guests shouldnt have trouble getting in, especially when theyve let in the obvious drug dealer several times.5) I quit using the barbecue grills because they were always either dirty or broken.Update: AMLI does a better job of keeping up with these, though the residents still make a mess.6) There are A LOT of people here who have dogs. The elevator usually smells like dog unless it was freshly cleaned (which theyre usually good about). On a rainy day, forget about it. The elevator floor tiles were recently swapped from the old white to new grey tiles that have a finish that looks like stone (so you cant see the dirt on the floor). That said, I *usually* dont hear dogs barking in the building.7) Management heavily censors posts made on the community site/forum so its hard to have a real discussion.Id like to give 4 stars, but I just cant. Theyve been difficult to deal with for the move-out process. AMLI is a big company with relatively inflexible policies; dont expect them to accommodate you. Their pricing is also relatively high; this place was competitive before the AMLI acquisition.
First I would like to thank Braeyhane for her great customer service and making this process seamless. The attention to detail throughout property is amazing! Chris and the rest of the staff are very professional and responsive to service request. Thanks guys great job.
Update!!!!I had the pleasure of working with Krystal and she was able to resolve any issues that I had. I liked that she was very quick and ready to help. Thank youI usually would not leave a review but the services this leasing agent Braeyhane brings to Amli Design Destrict is just down right awful and disappointing. I had the pleasure of working with the leasing agent Giovanni who was very sweet and direct, but due to Giovanni being out on emergency leave I was forced to work with the leasing agent Braeyhane. From the moment I introduced myself she prejudge me. She is rude and unprofessional. Please, if you want to stay here “Do Not” consult with her. Overall, the place is nice and have very polite concierge.
I was there as a registered guest for new year night. An african american lady who seemed to be manager in charge rudely disperesed us from 6th floor patio. We are were wearing masks. If you dont get paid enough, you dont have to be rude to people.Building is great though. Nice view.
Was extremely excited to move into the complex and initially had a great experience. Since then it’s been a disaster. The front desk and leasing office need major changes. With the exception of a few employees I feel that I have been treated like trash. My roommate and I pay way to much in rent for this kind of experience. Plus they have zero security. Last week my motor bike was stolen along with a vehicle and two brake ins. On top of that the gate was not functioning properly. Since then Amli has failed to reach out and apologize or offer any kind of help. As you can tell I am not a happy camper at this point.
Wonderful team great smiles everyday. Truly would not want to live in any other complex in Dallas!
I lived at this property for almost three years. I cannot stress enough how serious I am in recommending against signing a lease at this building. As an aside- Sean at the front desk is absolutely fantastic and none of these complaints reflect on his hospitality and general professionalism- he is wonderful. During my tenancy - there was a major flood - that they did not replace moldy carpets, left fans in the hall for WEEKS.... I made several requests to repair the locking devices on the doors in the “secure” parking garage - which were repeatedly ignored.... I made several requests to repair gym equipment - which were repeatedly ignored..... I had packages go missing - and was advised by management to contact ups- which I did - and then discovered that my package was shoved in a corner in storage room behind the front desk..... AND.... when I moved out they attempted to charge me to replace their out of date stove for a replacement costing over 1000.00 - for scratches- do not move here. It is not safe. Seriously I never write reviews- ever. Steer clear.
Giovanni has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Him and his management are very helpful and they’ve made living here a terrific experience. Thank you Gio!
Do not lease here unless you want to risk your health and dont mind constant problems. The air inside of these apartments is polluted and you will face potential respiratory problems. The view and location is not worth it. I recently moved in having lived in two luxury apartments prior to moving here and having been in Texas for years....I have never experienced the level of problems this building has. The only saving grace is that the concierge staff is exceptional.I do not suffer from allergies yet could barely breathe in my apartment last night. I have sinus congestion, throat irritation and the list goes on. Im a young and healthy individual who can count the number of times I have ever been sick. Ever since moving in Ive been appalled at excessive amount of dust. I spoke to another resident who has lived here for almost a year about it and apparently it is a common problem for all units. No matter how much you vacuum, mop and wipe the floors and countertops they are covered in dust within the next hour. This AMLI building has a serious dust problem that poses severe health risks and when I spoke to the assistant manager about it the response was well theres dust everywhere.....this was the most alarming part...There has also been a major flood this past year apparently on one of the higher floors. When I moved in there was also rotting food in my garbage disposal along with a fly infestation down there, as well as rotting food in the crevice between the stove and countertop that no one had bothered to clean which again caused me to be dealing with flies all over my kitchen. So instead of enjoying my move in like I normally would at a luxury apartment, I had to be constantly putting in maintenance requests for things like pulling out the stove so I could clean the area properly, etc. Ridiculous....especially not worth the price.
Rachael & Khandice are not just the BEST but so helpful. I have lived many places over the last 10 years and when visiting AMLI Design I knew this was the place to call home. Thank you AMLI for these 2 ladys. The entire office staff is so nice and helpful. AMLI should be proud of the team they have at Design.Thank you and keep up the GREAT WORK LADYS
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! AMLI Design District has some incredible views of the Dallas Skyline, they don’t ever get old! My family and I are blessed to be residents of this super ultra, high end luxury community and couldn’t be happier with the outstanding customer service from the leasing and concierge team to the prompt response and attention to detail provided by the maintenance staff!!! Everyone who works here is just simply put, AMAZING!!! Our unit is over 1,300 sq. ft with 2 bedrooms! It’s perfect with extremely tall ceilings and designer finishes throughout! I’m especially impressed with the soft close cabinets and drawers, the built in surround sound speakers in the living room and kitchen, and the Frigidaire Appliance Package!! Come and join me and become a valued resident of the best community in the Downtown area! You won’t be disappointed in the least bit!!
My friends apartment was broken into and no one is taking it seriously. The door is still broken. They stated it isn’t their job to keep residents safe. DO NOT STAY HERE.
We just recently renewed for another year here. We love our apartment and all of the amenities. Our view is amazing. Its a beautiful building. We recently had our engagement party in the Sky Lounge and all of our guests commented all night about the property. Whenever we have an issue with something in the apartment, maintenance has always promptly responded and been friendly. The concierge staff are WONDERFUL. I cant stress this enough. There have been some recent changes with the AMLI office staff. Garrett is great! Very friendly, helpful and responsive to concerns. My husband and I are happy to be here for another year.
We have lived here going on 4 years now in March and I have to say that we love this place! We have seen this place undergo new management three times now, and we have LOVED the last two! The new team of Garrett and Stephanie are an amazing combo! They have been great to deal with and it seems as if they constantly want to spruce things up around the building to keep the residents happy. Big kudos to Lorenzo, Aisha, Tara, Shawn, and the rest of our concierge team, you guys are great! Keeping a building as big as ours happy is an impossible task, but you guys are killing it so far!
AMLI Design District and Garrett have shown the utmost professionalism assisting me through a difficult moving situation while I was out of state. Garrett assisted with in any way he possibly could. You could not ask for a more understanding person. If you want to live in a place who pays great attention to detail in an outstanding living environment, AMLI Design District is the place for you!
I want to express my appreciation for the Amli Design District Team. I love All the new upgrades and Landscape; it makes the views that much more breath taking. Whenever I go by the office everyone is always so cheerful and helpful. Garrett assisted me with my unit today and went over and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the end result!! Thank you so much for your Professionalism and your willingness to exceed Expectations. Thanks Team!
Ive been searching for an apartment somewhere the Design District for about 2 months or so and Amili by far has been the most accommodating when it comes to helping me find the apartment right for me. Garrett Rose in the leasing office went above and beyond just showing me different floor plans and options. Have to say Im pretty impressed with the staff there.
My fiance has lived here for three years and its one of the best value high-rises in Dallas. The Good: Great views of the City, awesome gym and pool, and free coffee and water for residents. Walking distance to the American Airlines Center, Ascension Coffee, and Meddlesome Moth. Special shout-out to Brad Gough. He is an awesome maintenance guy who goes above and beyond fixing things in the apartment. The Not-So-Good: Elevators are down often, there are numerous holes in the ceiling throughout the building due to water pipe issues, and the composition of residents has changed over time (interpret that as you wish). Studios start around $1,350. Great location but you get what you pay for so dont expect the world.
Be careful. This used to be a quality building, but no more. I lived in the building since it was built and finally moved out last month. The only bright spot are the team concierges, who legitimately care about the residents. Unfortunately, the building itself has become dangerous. Its one thing to have the elevators always out of service, the common areas filled with trash and the secure access door propped open. Its another thing to be afraid to walk in the parking garage at late hours or witness criminal activity on your floor. And Im a fit male - I cant imagine being a single woman in this building. Its simply not safe
Beautiful new, upscale building in the middle of Dallas so traffic is awful but parking is available in the offset garage. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. AMLI itself is a fantastic management company but they havent owned it for a year yet and there are plenty of kinks to work out as a result. Rent pricing is exorbitant and attracts mostly self-entitled, wealthy residents though so dont expect friendly neighbors or people to clean up after themselves.
A lovely property in a great location! Garrett did a terrific job showing the property, and I couldnt be happier with our decision. Management team- keep up the good work.
Love the amenities and service from Management team. Garrett did a great job at showing us around and making our application and move-in process pretty much seamless
I lived at AMLI Design District for 5 1/2 months with managements full knowledge that I was the sole occupant but not on the lease. I received my mail and packages there and went through the front office to and from work daily and on weekends. Garrett was fully aware I was the only person living in the apartment. This is the response from an attorney I contacted. Ok, then you have grounds to sue them for an illegal eviction.. They cant do anything without a court order in their hands...regardless of what the ex (Hal Jones) says... they should know that.. So if you have to stay in a hotel, you can sue them for that, because even if changing the locks was a lease violation, you are an occupant living there, so you have the same rights as a tenant. If this was a violation, then they give written notice of the violation and a time to cure it..They cant just drill the lock, change them, and throw you out.. That is an absolute textbook illegal lock out eviction. And you can call the police officer as a witness in your case to testify as he should have tried to persuade the landlord to return possession to you...Courts tend to impose harsh penalties for landlords who do this to set an example and to deter future similar conduct. So if it were me, I would be filing suit tomorrow morning at the local courthouse for breach of contract and an illegal lock out eviction.Thank you for locking me out and humiliating me, Garrett. It was uncalled for and you should have handled the entire matter differently. You knew I lived there and he lived in Ohio. You should have given me some sort of notice instead of breaking the law and making things harder on me than they already were.
Garrett Rose 🌹.....is super awesome! He has been nothing but extremely helpful during my renewal process. I was planning to move out of the building and he was very influential in my decision to stay as a resident! He deserves a raise!!!!!
Nice building. Concierge. Pricing is way off point, though. $1500 starting for an efficiency is something that can easily be found in much better and safer areas of town, like Uptown.
Requiring a visitor’s ID is a waste of time, a covid hazard and an invasion of privacy.
*****RACHEAL DISCRIMINATION ALERT****My friend and her fiancé toured the AMLI today she was thoroughly impressed by the location and staff. Later that evening she invited me to visit the pool with her and some colleagues after a few hours we were rudely approached by “RACHEAL” who apparently toured my friend earlier that day she was very pleasant and shared stories about her recently having a baby (z) to give context and validity to this story. Initially she yelled across the pool in attempts to cause a scene *I’m not sure if a resident complained or not but I was astonished by her behavior. Not only did she not recognize my friend from early she proceeded to accuse us of being there for an unauthorized resident party that we knew nothing about. As we gathered our things residents in the pool yelled at her to leave us to enjoy ourselves (It seems like this happens all the time). As we left she followed us and made it clear that she had called security. *There was no security when we ARRIVED, in the PARKING DECK or at the UNLOCKED DOOR where we entered the pool. As we entered the elevator to exit the resident she believed was having an unauthorized party was exiting she yelled at him and said she wants him to come to her office in a condescending tone. There were at least 50-60 other people at the pool and the only thing we 4 had in common was that we were black. Monday morning my friend will be talking to her manager and its safe to say she will not be leasing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My husband and I were looking to move from an subpar apaertment community. I came into AMLI Design District and Garrett Rose was an absolute professional who assisted me with all of my questions and truly made me feel at home before I was even a resident. My husband and I leased and we love our apartment. Please let Garrett know the only reason we leased was his complete and total professionalism and courtesy.
I lived here 1 year and while the finish out and amenities are nice (and new) most of the people that live here are, should be, or are trying to be the stars of their own reality shows. If you are too douchee for Uptown (which takes trying pretty hard, I would imagine) then this is your place. Lots of 50K millionaires and trust fund babies and a few pro athletes. Overall, expensive for what you get in the way of space yet priceless for the entertainment value if you like reality shows. We will not be renewing our lease. To be fair, the people that work here (especially the front desk) are good and care about the residents though I think that they get a little tired of babysitting...
The newest apartment manager doesnt value customers whove stayed in their building for nearly 1.5 years.I complain about lack of basic maintenance of lights and never once put up a stink when all of their elevators werent working. They are complaining about pots we have on our balcony for over a year and have caused us other heartaches.
My car was stolen from the secured resident parking garage on March 7. As of today, March 24, amli has not viewed the camera footage or made any effort to determine who stole my car. I have called repeatedly and been passed from person to person and given stall tactics and told that it isn’t their job to investigate the crime that was committed on the property. I then looked up the Dallas crime records and learned that from March 1-7, 10 vehicles that were parked in the secured access parking garage were burglarized. Amli has not notified residents of this spike in crime, they have not brought on any security personnel, they have not watched the camera footage and they don’t care that the person who is committing crimes in our building is likely someone with access to the secured areas. The excess of apartments in uptown has created a very dramatic decline in the criteria used to select residents and has management focused only on getting bodies to fill the empty units with no regard for crimes they will commit or the damage that having a reputation for crime will do to the property long term. It’s sad to see this beautiful building being taken over by large groups of guests, who don’t live here, using the pool, drinking out of paper bags and using the 6th floor event space as a byob no rules place to pretend to be a baller. I have been staying with friends and relatives and will do so until my lease ends and I can move to a safer building.
Where do I start. Thank you office staff and maintenance for everything you do. Thank you Garrett for making this place home you’re truly an asset to Amli. Thank you maintenance for always keeping The 6th floor looking beautiful.
I currently live at The Katy right across from this apartment community and was having issues with the management team. Being desperate and upset, I began looking at other nearby high rises in the area. I reached out to Amli and spoke to Rachel. I told her my situation and she invited me in for a face-to-face and tour of the apartment community. Rachel was FANTASTIC!!! Very sweet, personable and down-to earth. The advice, the understanding etc was MUCH appreciated! I was able to get my issues resolved with The Katy after meeting with her, but felt compelled to give Rachel a call to tell her THANK YOU!!!! Not only for meeting with me, but for brightening up my day, and truly caring about ME, what I was looking for and my concerns. She not only cares about Amli Design District, but she cares about YOU! Which is why I felt moved to write this review. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH RACHEL and I hope to call Amli Design District home soon!!!!
Garrett, Cara and Rachel were all wonderfully helpful 10/10 would reccomend
Best place ive ever lived. The views are amazing. The finish out are great!! Best views of downtown Dallas.
There are serious security concerns with this property. 1) There have been auto thefts and car break-ins on the secured resident parking floors. 2) There is an access door that is propped open, allowing anyone access to the visitors parking area. Once in, they can then follow anyone into the elevators.
Great views, and nice amenities but shady staff! Put down a deposit on a penthouse, provided check stubs which apparently werent good enough, so I provided a certified letter for total income from my companies CPA which was notarized and they still denied my application. Refused to accept bank statements from my savings account and/or a cosigner and then asked for things I told them I didnt have at the beginning of the process. Mind you, I have an almost perfect credit score, never missed a payment, no evictions, nothing! Theres no building in America going through that much yellow tape-weird for an apartment building not even privately owned. They even stopped answering my realtors calls. Thankfully, dollars spend everywhere in the United States and I havent had any trouble with any other high rises in Uptown. Ill take my 4000/month to someone who will appreciate it and not treat me like a criminal!
Today I received the worst customer service of my life . I am speechless . I really wish there was rating below one to give to Amli design district management team . We booked a sky launch for a memorial event . The team made a mistake and book two event back to back . They always only booked one event . The event before us was a bridal shower . We had 50 people coming at 6 pm and we were supposed to have the sky launch by 4 pm. At 4:30 I went downstairs all nervous and panicking to seek help . Candice was the staff members who yelled at me in front of the concierge and other resident and tell me I need to back up and get out of her face . I said why are u raising your voice at me . I am not disrespecting you . I am just asking for help . I have 50 people coming and I am not even set up yet . She said I don’t like your approach. Then she said my name is Candence u should go and talk to my manger and left . She did not even make the slightest effort to help . My guest had to come up to our small apartment until we will be done setting up . That being said that they charge us 250Dollars for the room . They ruined both our event and the other neighbor event and not only once they did not apologize . I got yelled at as well . I, myself own two business and if any members of my staff talk to any of my customer this way . I will make sure they get fired the next day . They way she approached me should one thing for sure she knew her actions has no consequences. We lost my Father in law to cancer in 6 months and this very hard time for our family . She did not even had any understanding of the situation. She simply did not care .i also wanted to say the concierge last was nice she really went out of her way to try to help after she saw Candence reaction .!!!
1400 Hi Line (HELL ON EARTH) RUN FAR FROM THIS PLACE!!!! DONT LET THE LOBBY FOOL YOU!! WORST MANAGEMENT EVER!!! Ive had 14 different written, photographed issues from the people above me sweeping dog fecal matter off and onto my balcony. MANAGEMENT HAS DONE NOTHING!!! The concierge guys are awesome, the only good part of this HELL HOLE
This place use to be a great location! They broke in to my apartment in the morning and management tried to hide it for a while amd that happened again to another apartment! They are too many parking are in the building but not safe since I have seen ofiicial emails of too many cars were stolen or at least they broke into them!Beside that AMLI behave like, it is the residents responsibility to provide the security! I saw on previous comments on yelp that someone said they dont do background check and that was the reason he moved out! I believe he was right if you are a drug dealer or u are willing to do any illegal activities here is the place for u!Great Facility and great location but you are on your own risk!

One of my favorite places!! We stay on the 20th Floor and love our view and staff!!
This place has the WORST management ever. For the money people pay to live here it’s ridiculous. They had problems with the a leaking in their tubes and several complete floors were completely ruined by all the water damage. Its been a month and the halls still stink like wet carpet and they still cant manage to get some work done. Not to mention some of their staff is absolutely ridiculously rude. This place deserves 0 stars.
I went and took a look at this place and its not all its cracked up to be. I purposely go looking at apartments when I can as comfortable as I can be. Cause its Texas and its hot outside and I just got off of work and Im not about to go out of my way to look cute for you. I met with a Chelsea, who when asked about the income requirements proceeded to tell me that my overtime wouldnt be considered even after I explained I worked from home and had the ability to work unlimited hours of overtime at my leisure. And that as of now I dont work no less than 15 hours a week. I Could do more hours but as of now Im tired of the Environment Im in and I prefer to make up what I hours I dont do Ubering on Friday and Saturday night. So I could still do afford it based on what she was saying as far as I could only use gross income. Cause combining the two bases was still more than enough without my overtime. But she proceeds to tell me in order to prove the Uber Earnings Id need to send in a W-2 or give her my bank statement that it goes into that shows I can hold more than 1200 at a time. The problem with that is I have 3 accounts money goes into. One for my regular job a netspend account a majority of my check goes into, a savings money goes into from my primary, and a BOA that my Uber & Lyft Funds deposit into. I mainly use the account shes saying I have to show a 1200 balance on, as a account I pay small bills and debts to. So who are you to dictate how I utilize any of my accounts. To say that specifically was like her telling me I dont want to rent to you. And you can see it on her face and hear it in her tone. She kept saying how she couldnt say for sure but she would check and get back to me. And here I am, a week later and Ive heard nothing from Chelsea. I called all the other apartments and condos Id seen that day and they told me they would happily accepts my over time and printouts of my uber payment page. It was funny cause I ended up calling the management company (AMLI) myself and talking to a sweet woman who explained all kinds of ways theyd accept my stay. Even going as far as explaining I could of simply paid 3-4 months of rent. I told her that what I would of happily done had Chelsea even took the time to do any and every thing to make me feel as though I wasnt wanted to there. Back to the funny part, I was hoping to move in somewhere and do just that. I planned on plumping down no less than 5000 for 3-4 months and still pay rent to stay ahead. Just because I wanted to be able to not have to think about rent. Its funny the blessings people miss out on when you judge a book by its cover. I didnt even finish explaining how me just sitting there with her I was making money that moment as I have stocks, a 401k and investments. Or how Im a comedian/blogger and get paid off of advertisements for the past 5 years. Or how my main purpose to move downtown is to have a great backdrop for the radio station/vlog I intend on doing. Which would net me more income... I Wouldnt move here if they begged me. You dont deserve me, I only considered you cause I saw the wrap around windows in the flyers. I didnt find out that was just for the 2 bedrooms til I got there. And Im only one person so thats not needed for me. I probably would of still considered you, had you had a better rental agent there. I wouldnt even dare want to go through all the trouble for one of your one bedrooms..lol
I moved here in October... I have nothing but great things to say about this place I truly never comment but I had to... Chelse helped us out with the whole process which helped out a lot moving in... she is great!! All the concierge are awesome as well... I had a slight problem with no hot water I called Candice in the morning and she called after and made sure when I got home to ask if all is well...I can not say nothing but great things about the staff from the cleaning ladys and maintance team... Stacy is always there to help out...ALL Managment and staff are all greattttttttttttt!! Thanks..... Best view of Downtown !! Thanks to ALL
