I just moved in not to long ago and i am loving it here! The staff are really nice and they work with you very understanding! ☺️
I was in contact with Janie, the leasing consultant. She acknowledged this would be my first apartment and made sure i could afford the rate and it would be everything i wanted in my first home away from my parents. The maintenance team has been on-top of all my service request in a timely manner. I was so impressed, id be gone for lunch and come back to a resolution! The office has answered any and all of my questions! Janie has stayed in contact with me even throughout of move in.This is a luxury home and an impressive place to live at, ESPECIALLY for a first time mover like me!
After researching and visiting up to 30 (or more) apartments in the area surrounding, Olympus at Ross was a breath of fresh air when I walked in their doors, saw the apartments and talked to the leasing consultant. Brittany was so helpful and made our family feel the most welcome. She went over and beyond for us when we wanted to see the exact floor plan we were looking for and was so kind. Im really excited to be moving in soon.
This is easily the nicest apt with the most accommodating staff I’ve ever experienced. The amenities are awesome and the staff keep their word. I highly recommend Olympus.
I have lived here almost a year and I absolutely love it. I was very worried about how it would be to live in an apartment again after moving here from a house. I love that you can’t hear your neighbors. I live on the first floor and I rarely ever here the people next to me or above me. The common areas are clean and quiet as well. I absolutely love the staff. Tatiana is a doll and will help you with any and everything. When you put in a maintenance request, Angel & Angel are always there right away to assist. I am planning to stay here as long as I still live in Dallas. I love it here!
I don’t live in this building, but was simply visiting my girlfriend. Im writing this review at 4am, where I have spent the past 75 minutes and counting laying in bed with a blaring fire alarm 🚨. Management has ignored this issue, which has occurred 5 times in the past year. I finally am leaving the building. As I am walking out, I am seeing droves of other people equally as upset, walking out. I wouldn’t live in a “luxury” place that does not have onsite management to deal with these types of issues, and more importantly, doesn’t do anything to prevent it from happening over and over again
I LOVE living here! I’m going on my 3rd year here in the same apartment. The staff is ALWAYS available, helpful and friendly. Maintenance is prompt, respectful of your place and friendly as well. The property is always kept clean...ALWAYS. The location is spectacular. Super close to highways and walkable to food and Exall Park. You will not regret living here!!!
This is a beautiful property. I stopped in to get additional information on leasing. I had the pleasure talking to a beautiful young lady by the name of Brittany S. She was very pleasant and was very knowledgeable about the property. I’ve visited a lot a different apartment complexes and was turn around because of the office staff. So it was a breath of fresh air on how professional and kind Brittany treated me. I would definitely recommend this place!!
I’ve lived here for 6 months and have loved it, the location is perfect for a reasonable price. From the start all the employees at the leasing office were amazing. Tatyana made the whole experience wonderful, all the maintenance workers are wonderful too they always great you. I would recommend for them to upgrade to lockers for packages, that would be better than a room of packages just open for anyone that lives here.
The property is in a great location and well kept. The staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. While stopping in regarding move-in options, Brittany S. gave me great detail about the property and what I would need to move forward. I recommend Olympus at Ross when youre ready to move.
I would like to start with I love every single person from the maintenance team! Overall I’m happy with my choice living here. My biggest advice is to drive through the parking garage before deciding to live here. The corners are tight and if you have a large vehicle only one car can go at time. I get into a near accident every week because of residents speeding around the corners of the parking garage. Maybe it would help if they added mirrors so you can see when another car is coming. As far as my floor it’s very quiet and I’ve never heard the people above me in my year living here. I can hear music from my neighbor but only when I’m in my bedroom. Love the three room gym. My random maintenance issues are always resolved quickly. The garage door has been broken only twice in my past year living here. Elevator has been down quite a few times. I almost didn’t sign here because of the reviews so I wanted to leave a non-biased overall positive review. I’ll be here till I’m ready for a house
Great experience from the moment we walked in the doors. From Tatiana showing us different apartments and helping us with the process to the maintenance crew fixing any issues we had immediately. The cleaning crew are great keeping the whole property looking clean and nice. Happy we picked Olympus as our home.
This property is so nice and well taken care of! I had the pleasure of speaking with Brittany S. She knew everything about the property, and was very nice and made me feel welcome. Shes helpful and I would 10/10 recommend Olympus at Ross to everyone! Thank you again Brittany S.
The complex seems to be over all pretty clean, the maintenance crew does a great job of sweeping and mopping the common areas and halls on a weekly (maybe more frequent) basis. However the stair wells are never upkept. Months old vomit, trash, linger in our stair wells.. Unfortunately the worst one of all is the visitor one at the back of the building leading up to the roof of the garage. This is quite embarrassing when you have guests visit and that is their first impression of the place. I always have to make a comment that the whole property isnt reflected in that stair well but wish they would take a spray wash to the steps, feels like a rather easy fix...The office can be really great depending on the day. Per COVID I think they may just be under staffed, many times if you try to go down to talk to someone the office is closed because an agent is on a tour. Totally understandable, just never know if and or when you can actually catch an employee to help you with whatever it might be.
I went and took a tour the other day of these beautiful apartments and was shown around by Brittany. She did an amazing job and was able to answer all of my questions I had. I highly recommend meeting with Brittany and these apartments!
Ive lived here for about a week and half and the experience has been nothing short of incredible. Molly helped us find the perfect two bedroom apartment for my fiance and I and we even snagged a great deal. The amenities of the property are always super well maintained and the interior of the apartments feel like a home. It is so quiet inside and the finishings are super nice. The move-in process was seamless with the Updater app (we even had internet set up from day 1!) There is always yummy coffee in the Mingle room and the leasing office has been so attentive to all of our needs since move in. Highly recommend!!!! Best move ever!!!
Nice property with a very nice and professional staff. Brittany was able to help me with all the needs and questions that I had and I’m excited about moving forward. Definitely would recommend
Living here has been AMAZING, We call it “The Resort” Because that’s exactly what it looks like when you come on this thing. MORE importantly the staff and maintenance crew. BIG shout out to Tatiana and Janie for always taking care of me if and when any issues come.
I have lived here since June and I can honestly say this is by far one of the best apartments I have ever lived in! The staff are always super helpful and nice when I need help, especially the maintenance staff! They always wave at me as I am walking or driving by and they respond to maintenance issues quickly, which has always been a huge problem in other apartments that I have lived in! The property is kept clean and fresh, especially the pool, my favorite place to go! The apartments are in tip top shape and its a really quiet community, which I absolutely need! And the events that they hold every month are super fun! If you have the chance to live here, I RECOMMEND!
I haven’t even moved in yet, but I HAD to make a review. This place is AMAZING! I told Janie what I was looking for, and she matched me with the perfect apartment at an unbeatable price. The environment seems to match my energy, and I can’t wait to move on Saturday to fully experience all that Olympus at Ross as to offer!!
First, what a great leasing staff! Tatyana, Brittany, and Jamie are all super helpful. The property itself is modern, affordable, and in the perfect location of Dallas to hit up all the spots. 10/10 live here!
Brittany is the best. Very professional and very helpful. She made sure everything was convenient upon moving in!
Beautiful apartments. Amazing staff! Brittany was so professional and kind. Highly recommend.
I have lived at Olympus for the past 4 years and love the community! Hands down the maintenance team here is amazing! They are fast, and Friendly! The office personnel are always willing to listen if there is a problem and take action to resolve the issue.
I have visited a few properties before I visited this property & I was blown away with how lovely these apartments looked & how knowledgeable & friendly Brittany S. was to us. I definitely recommend these apartments and don’t ask for anyone else except Brittany S. she will make sure you get everything you are looking for in an apartment.
I was apartment hunting and the assistant manager Brittany was warm with assisting with any questions that I had about the property, and was very knowledgeable about the area.
I have been living at Olympus at Ross since April and even had an inter-apartment complex move during that time. The Olympus at Ross team have been nothing but accommodating to my requests and are always there to answer questions and resolve issues. The property is enclosed and safe, has a 24-hour package room, and is always clean. The gym is very impressive for an apartment complex and I frequent it often- always impressed by how clean it is. The apartment has done a good job with noise control after 10 PM and the on-site courtesy officer is always quick to resolve after-hours issues. Guest parking makes out-of-town friend and family visits much easier than other apartments I have lived in.I would definitely recommend this apartment if you work downtown or want to be close to so many fun things. Bonus- Kroger, Target, Sprouts, and Trader Joes are not far either!Edit as of 12/02/2020:Packages have been stolen in large quantities from the Luxer One mail room twice that we know of. This is a new issue and now I am afraid to leave packages overnight or at all. There are multiple unsecure, broken doors that allow immediate access into the building. Once these security concerns are addressed, this review will change.
Apartments been good so far. Im laughing at most of these reviews because they sound like whiny people that never lived in any apartment complex. Could be their first time but I dont know. Like poop in the elevator. Again, its a big complex with all kinds of people. Im sure the complex cant catch everyone but recently they have also sent out a notice about it. Which I appreciate. If anyone has problems with this behavior, I would suggest moving to a house or condo. Maybe reporting what you saw. So much worst that Ive seen at apartments. And why would anyone mention there are black people being loud but not white people? Lmao, then they say that they are not racist...so why is the color of you skin relevant in your review?!? Hmmm yeah you dont sound racist at all. I also appreciate the stupid ass bracelets for the pool.. I rather have only guest and a few of their guest in the pool. Its not like they tattooed the bracelets on to us. This is not a party pad. We dont want you and your five hundred friends in our pool. And to everyone that has a problem walking down a few more flights down to recycle...nothing wrong with exercise. Sounds to me most of the residents complaining need to move back home with mommy and daddy.
Property was amazing, leasing agent Brittany was even better very informative and kind.
I love Brittany and the staff there at Ross, the complex is very nice and they staff there too
Tatyana and the staff are awesome! This community is highly recommended.
Toured this beautiful place with Brittany, she was very knowledgeable and helpful.
I spoke with Brittany regarding a one bedroom. Looking forward to becoming a resident at Ross.
Awesome property and Leasing consultants.. Tatyana and Janie are the best!!
I have lived here for 8 months and only have great things to say about this property! The staff are very welcoming and helpful, particularly Molly and Breyden! I toured with Molly in May 2019 and her professionalism, knowledge, and cheerful attitude contributed to my decision to sign a lease. The maintenance staff is very quick to respond to any requests and they do an outstanding job of keeping the property as a whole in working order. The hallways are always clean, the garage is brightly lit, and the location is great. I will absolutely be renewing my lease here!
I was having a hard time looking for the right apartment and man I finally came to the right place!!!! The Olympus at Ross is an amazing place... pool, gym, hair salon, and the units are so amazing... love the bathrooms and how big the bed rooms are! The best part was the staff!!!! Breyden and Toni are Beyond Awesome!!! I could not ask for a better place to live !!!!
I LOVE living here!! Everyone in the office is helpful and friendly. Maintainnence staff is GREAT and super fast; I dont think Ive ever put in a service request that wasnt addressed within a couple of days, most of the time the very next day. The three-room fitness center has all the necessary stay-in-shape equipment, including stationary bikes, treadmills, stairsteppers, weight machines and free weights. Although I dont have a pet, it is animal friendly here and there are two dog runs that I know of. The pool is beautiful and well maintained, and there is plenty of space for relaxing outdoors in the nicely appointed courtyards; mine even has grilling facilities and a covered seating area! There is always ample parking in the gated parking garage. The secure mailroom is in the building so no lugging packages back to my apartment in inclement weather. Ive had my hair cut at the onsite salon and Bella did a great job! The complex is within walking distance or a 5 min Uber/Lyft ride to grocery shopping, convenience stores, Walgreens, CVS, etc.., a few parks, Deep Ellum, a hospital, and several eating establishments. Im close to all the major highways as well. Most of all, I feel safe living here. This is my third lease in and Im fairly picky so if youre on the fence about moving in, dont be!
We have lived here for almost 2 years and it gets better every year. The current office team we have is very good and this property should get 5 stars just because of the amazing job the maintenance team does. I honestly could go on and on about the pros and cons but overall we have enjoyed our time here and met a ton of cool people in the process.....let’s go for another year!!!!
What happened to Prisma Reyes? Where is she? Someone must have heard or seen something in this apartment complex! Please come forward with any information that can help bring her home.
I am going on three years living at Olympus at Ross. I have lived in two apartments here on two different levels. I am a pretty low key resident and understand what’s in the control of the front office workers vs the contracted service companies (I deal with contracted service companies often.) The front office workers are very professional as well as personable each time I go in. I would recommend this apartment complex to any of my friends and family.
We just moved in and Molly has been amazing! She made us feel so welcomed. She has gone above and beyond for us. We are excited to live here and cant wait for all the adventures.
One thing I can say is the staff is incredible and super nice!!! They are helpful and sweet but the property is self;I’ve been at this property for 4 months. Luxury is definitely not this property. Elevators don’t even work Dog poop everywhere and residents will get towed while they sleep and I got robbed in my own garage the 2nd week I moved in. I took my chances and I’m suffering for taking a chance on an apartment that has the worst reviews. And oh yeah if you want to feel warm in your own apartment. Make sure to purchase blankets and heaters because there units are old as the building.
Breyden is awesome and does a fantastic job helping with any issue. He’s always friendly, smiling, and genuinely wants to help. He responds in person, e-mail, and phone quickly. Happy he’s joined the property team!
Worked with Breyden and Toni and they were amazing. You could tell they were really invested and made the signing easy! The property itself is in an awesome location and has some great amenities - you won’t regret signing here :)
My husband and I have lived at the Olympus at Ross for 4 years now and have loved it! There’s so much to say about how wonderful it is here! The maintenance team is awesome. The apartments are in a great location and walking distance to restaurants and bars like Ross and Hall and Eastbound and down. Neighbors are friendly. Office staff is incredible! We recently moved apartments into a different two bedroom plan than we were in for 3 years. Breyden helped us in this transition and was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process! There was an issue the weekend we were supposed to move and he took the time to call us after hours on a Friday night AND came in on his day off first thing in the morning to help us find a solution. Breyden went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful! The whole team at Olympus at Ross cares and is attentive to their residents and our needs!
Been here since June 2018. No problems other than the occasional noisy neighbor issue that comes with living in a Dallas apartment complex. Office staff is always friendly and helpful if I ever need anything, and the same 2 maintenance guys have worked here the whole time I’ve been renting. They’re always quick to stop by for any service requests and have fixed any issues I’ve had.Went with a 2 bedroom floor plan and love the 10 foot ceilings. More up to date and more secure than the last apartment complex place I lived around Fitzhugh Ave.
Overall, you can get much better deals for a far better price in and around Dallas. We joined due to a $500 promo on our rent which stated it would be issued in the first month, which we were later informed it was actually the first full month. Fine, but our auto-pay was withdrawn for the full amount of rent in month 2 and the apartment did nothing to help simply stating they would not refund my money. It took three months before I even got the $500 promo. It should have never been this difficult. It wasnt the money, simply the principal of it.The gate is broken constantly, causing significant safety concerns and my girlfriends car was broken into once while we lived there. They hand you wrist bands for the pool when you move in, but nothing is enforced and the pool area feels more like a party than a place to relax. The garage elevator has been broken for months, with no solution or sign posted. Upon our move out, my moving company charged me additional money due to the fact that they had to carry my belongings up stairs even though we had an elevator, that was broken at no fault of my own.I relocated for another job, and paid the full 60 day notice even though we moved after about 3 weeks of providing our notice. I was later informed than an additional 60 days of rent would be due to cover my lease cancellation. In total, more than $4K was required just to break a lease on a studio apartment which is absolutely ridiculous. This was the third lease Ive broken, none of which had fees remotely similar to this one. The verbiage is very similar to apartments Ive lived in before, and the verbiage will repeatedly state 60 days, even though it will be two separate 60 day payments.Living here simply isnt worth it. All in all I wish we had lived somewhere else and couldnt be happier having relocated to another apartment.
I love the staff, Tanya is always cheerful and accommodating! They are always so helpful and get back to me quickly. Great vibe at the pool with fun activities over the weekend. It’s definitely the place to be at, love the community.
I dont think anyone ever asks themselves: Can I see myself being quarantined here? But if I had to be quarantined here again, I dont think I would mind it as much.Olympus is an oasis on Ross ave that delivered exactly what they advertise. The amenities and units are beautifully designed, clean and show a lot of love and care being put into making this a stellar place to live and call home. They give you the option to mount TVs and shelves, 400mbps Fiber Optic internet and you own personal AC and water heater! Amazing perks that just make it that much better. All of management, especially Molly, have been nothing but kind, knowledgeable, transparent, and professional from day one. I moved into Olympus from across the US and had no idea what I was doing when I first arrived. The pains of moving to a new state tends to precedes panic, and BOY panic I did! But Molly, Brayden and Tatiana were there to welcome me and gave me the directions I needed to get by. They were the kindest people I had met since moving to Texas and Im forever grateful for them. They always had an answer, always had confidence in me and when they didnt know, they knew who to go to for the right response. Heck, even my cats like them - and they dont like other people. Ever. They were all understanding, empathetic and and constantly putting their best efforts to help me whenever I had questions or concerns. This never changed throughout my time living here and has been my favorite part of Olympus.Maintenance is an amazing team of their own as well. Any time I needed something fixed, they arrived the day of. Friendly, informative and clear on what they were doing at all points. I always knew I could count on them to fix a problem and get it done with high efficiency.Between these two teams, you really do get spoiled by how my synergy and passion they have for what they do, and you always walk away knowing that youre always going to be taken care of.The location is in the middle of a main road and trickled all around it are cute bars, shops and more, that is less than a 5 minute drive or walk away. Doctor offices, veterinarians, bars, groceries, Target, Downtown, Deep Ellum - you name it and its there! This made traveling easier and cheaper and was a huge selling point for me.The only reason I took off one star( If I could take off 1/8th for this instead, I would) is because of general and minor infrastructure issues. Unfortunately, the walls and floors are thin and the slightest amount of noise echos easily between apartments. I had numerous complaints from my downstairs neighbors whenever I did normal things like: Open my window, play with my cats, use my pull out couch, or walk around a bit too excitedly. This made having guest over or trying to get regular task done an anxiety induced nightmare. I eventually had to start logging the complaints because I wanted to see what I was doing that made her so angry to begin with. (The conclusion from my data is that nothing I was doing in particular was outrageously inconsiderate and I just needed to deal) But to each their own. There seems to also be an issues with the garage gate whenever theres a bad storm and elevators do tends to break pretty often. But if youre a person that typically takes the stairs, you wont see this as much of a burden. Regardless, Management does their best at making sure were aware and find work around to helping residents get through these mild inconveniences. On that note, the garages here made parking and inviting friends over an absolute breeze. Most of my friends that live in similar places struggle with finding free parking - here, its everywhere and I love it!If youre someone thats looking for a hub thats close to the night scene, downtown, love the modern and clean amenities, are looking for a maintenance and management team to treat you with respect, and are genuinely just a level headed person - then I highly recommend Olympus!
Looking for a place to live close to all the excitement that Dallas has to offer? Do you enjoy free beer, wine, food and the occasional party hosted by your complex? Do you want to be surrounded by uncommonly attractive people? Olympus at Ross has all of these things plus a well equipped workout room, artwork by a renowned artist and did I mention Palm trees!? The pool looks like an urban oasis where mythic beings go to bathe in sunlight, cool off and indulge in fun. Whether you are or are not a Roman god/goddess, with everything Olympus at Ross has to offer, you just might feel like one. 5/5.
There is no such thing as a perfect place, especially in the Dallas area. You get good and you get not so pleasant. However I can say the cleaning and maintenance staff here are AMAZING. Every time i see them i am greeted with a sincere smile. They remember your name and your pets. I have to give them extra credit well not all my neighbors are responsible pet parents. I have personally seen several leave their fur babies poop on the ground. When management has gone the extra mile to install poop bags that are just steps away. So unfortunately the maintenance staff is left to clean after these lazy people. So overall my experience has been pleasant. The walls are thick which is a big plus since I work nights I can sleep days without hearing my neighbors. Good place to live in if you want to be close to downtown area.
Ive been happy to call this building home for almost 3 years after moving back to Dallas from Los Angeles. The staff, from management to maintenance, is wonderful. Responses to maintenance requests are timely. Any issues Ive had have been resolved quickly. I love the amenities and special touches inside the apartment. Plus you cant beat the location.
Toured with Breyden last month. Work was transferring me and I wanted to get a jump on finding a new place, transfer changed, but was ready to sign! Amazing complex with lots of amenities. Breyden showed me everything and even gave me some great area restaurant recommendations. 5 Star!
My wife and I moved to Olympus 4 months ago. The apartment is spacious, with many amenities and very good light. Everything is quite new and well taken care of. Regarding the common areas, both the mingle room, the pool or the gym are great. But without a doubt, the best thing is the staff members in charge of the maintenance of the apartments. Whenever we have had a problem, they have solved it quickly and effectively and continuously offer to help you in whatever you need. It is a pleasure to have them. The truth is that I am satisfied with the decision we made to live here
I’ve been living here for almost a year and absolutely love this place! From maintenance to the leasing office consultants —everyone is super helpful and attentive. Breyden is such a sweetheart! He helped me jumpstart my car and even helped me order a new battery. 100% recommend.
I can’t hear my neighbors! The walls are thick which is great for a light sleeper. Everyone is quiet during the week. Pool, gym, free coffee, and a lot of other great amenities. It’s pretty clean, though you get an occasional “accident” and dog owners don’t pick up after their dogs. It doesn’t happen often and gets cleaned up pretty quickly. The ladies in the office are super nice and helpful. Love love love living here!! The best part is that it’s not a party house. Everyone is respectful and keeps parties to the weekends, which even still doesn’t get loud.*Edit*Towards the end of my stay, the neighbors downstairs started to get very loud with their music. Since the walls were thick, it wasn’t that bad but here’s a hint: when you live in an apartment building, you have neighbors. Be respectful of your noise - it’s common courtesy. I’ve lived in apartments my entire life and I’ve never experienced such rude neighbors as I have here in the Dallas area.
This apartment is reasonably priced and very responsive in dealing with concerns of residents. Way to go Molly and Tatiana! You guys really give this place a good name...
Loved living here this past year! The management and maintenance team are great!
Having a lot of trouble getting made whole with a high value stolen package from the facilitys secure package room (as it was described during walk-through). And Im not the only tenant with this issue! The management team was so sorry about this but immediately claimed no liability and directed me to the company who is the services company behind the package room. This company said I should talk to management (roundabout and finger pointing, and me with no package or reimbursement). When we finally reviewed the footage, we found it was inconclusive and looking like no options going forward. Seems like management hired the cheapest service possible and did not confirm the quality of service.
My experience with the staff at Olympus was great. Toni and Breyden were more than helpful they went above and beyond. Im looking forward to my stay at Olympus.
Living In Olympus is great. First at all, the apartment is big, really nice and have a lot of amenities like washer machine, dryer and oven. People who work here are really kind and always try to solve your problems as soon as possible. Also, they organize a lot of activities what make the life here enjoyable and fun.And finally, I have to say that I love the gym, the pool and the BBQ, they are great and really clean.Without doubt we are happy to live here!
Breyden and the rest of the staff at Olympus have been great. It is refreshing to work with someone like Breyden because you can truly tell that he is invested in his job and enjoys what he does. Anytime you have a question or need something he does it with a smile on his face.
Very happy with our experience at Olympus! Great service from the leasing office team and would recommend you ask for Breyden if youre in the market.
Ive been here a year. First two months were good, but management switched about that time and everything has gone downhill since then. Their general lack of care and ability to respond in a timely manner simply doesnt exist.Paying rent for luxury living simply because you have a hair salon in your complex, doesnt make it luxurious. On more than one occasion, I have seen neighbors moving out one day, and maybe 24 hours later someone else moving in. That would explain why when I moved in, I had to deep clean my own apartment and spackle my own walls. The way trash bags litter the hallways you would think we have valet pick-up, which we dont. And I can understand setting the bag out of your door for you to grab moments later as you may have things in your arms when closing the door. But not here, the trash bags stay for hours and days even when brought up to management.Theres a courtesy officer you can call for complaints and issues after office hours, but the neighbors here still make noises far into the night in the courtyards. Bringing the issue up to management? They just tell you to call the courtesy number. When youre ready to move out and your new complex needs to verify your rental history and that youve given your notice? May as well walk down to the office and ask for the information yourself. It took two weeks for them to get the information to my new place, and that was only after I went down there and spoke to them directly. The only two good things I have to say about this place? They have a great maintenance team and the couple they have run the events for them, do a phenomenal job. But unfortunately, those cant save you from terrible management.
I moved here in Jan and was at first loving everything about the place. I love the staff, they are sweet and very helpful. My apartment space is huge which I also love. Every time I put in a maintenance request it was answered and resolved in a timely manner and even the maintenance staff are kind. However, the longer I live here the more I am totally regretting it. 1st thing is there is poop literally everywhere when you walk down to the walkway where the garage is. I get that its not the apartments responsibility to handle those things because well it shouldnt be their responsibility but it makes the garage area and the walkway outside smell soooo terrible. The paint job on the 3rd floor is beyond tacky. Its like instead of them repainting the entire hallway they just slather some new paint on top of the new paint. Probably petty of me, but if I am paying $1300 I would expect not only the outside but the inside to look nice. The elevators were down for a good 3 weeks making it an inconvenience. The doors to enter inside the apartments from the garage were also down a couple of times along with the garage door. The garage space driving is super small and cars fly making you think that you will get hit. The thing is I can handle all of that, but OMG these walls are beyond thin which I am shocked that no one is talking about it and it doesnt help that people party pretty much every weekend until a good 2-3 in the am like its a college dorm. I literally hear EVERY step my neighbor above me takes and since I am required to work from home during this quarantine time I hear them pretty much from the time I get up until I go to sleep. So imagine being woke up to either loud music, someone walking around, a loud tv, or yes even conversations. I can hear my neighbor have an entire conversation and its even worse in the bathroom. The thing is it wasnt that bad when I first moved in and maybe my neighbor is just loud, but unless they weigh as big as a hippo there should be no reason I hear their EVERY move. I already feel like Im going crazy from being inside all day, but having to listen to every little thing above me doesnt make it any better.
Breyden was super helpful in helping me find the right unit. I will definitely recommend Olympus to my friends.
I would not recommend Olympus to anyone. There are FAR better complexes in the area at similar rates. I have had consistent problems with this complex since moving in back in July 2018. The day I moved in my apartment had not been cleaned (there was old silverware left in a drawer, gum stuck to the ground, etc). I have had an extremely difficult time with my neighbors and their noise level - however, the complex has not done anything even after at least 30+ complaints (they claim there are quiet hours after 10pm, but do not enforce it). They claim it is a luxury apartment, but I can assure you that you will be paying far more than the value of your room.Out of nowhere they decided to change all of the locks on the apartments/garage which caused the ENTIRE complex to be open to the public. The doors did not lock, so anyone from the outside could get into the complex. This was like this for at least a month. This was AFTER the apartment had an issue with people getting into the garage and breaking into cars (including my own). It is clearly very poorly managed which makes sense since management in the office changes every other week. They have also had an issue with people stealing other peoples packages out of the package room - it is honestly just one thing after another.A woman went missing at this complex about a month ago (which I understand is not the complexs fault themselves). However, they failed to disclose to residents that the woman actually went missing IN the complex. They sent out an email neglecting to share information with residents - the news was giving more information than the complex did. Just another poor handling from management. The safety of residents is clearly not a concern for management. The ONLY good thing Ive encountered at this apartment is the maintenance staff - I will say that all of my requests have been handled professionally and timely.
One of the most important things to me when it comes to my living space is A/C. Especially with our Texas summers when temperatures are consistently 100 plus. This is major and can lead to health issues, so why doesnt this entity find it as important when it comes to ensuring the air conditioners are cooling properly????? The fact that this is not a major priority is definitely a concern. The A/C has not been working for days and the tenants are still expected to pay rent although they are not receiving their monies worth. What is the point of paying rent when you have to stay with someone else until the A/C is fixed?I have visited the complex and I have a friend currently staying at my residence because of this issue. Thats strange because I saw the email sent to you all regarding this matter.
I am the type of the guy who do not really like saying bad things about people, places or other things unless it is extremely, extremely worst. I wanted to keep my short experience opinion about this place to myself but since google keeps informing to rate, I figure I just give it a short. When I walked in, the leasing agents were not excited to see me, totally different of other places that I was at before here (they were more welcoming and excited). At Olympus on Ross I felt like there were not impressed with my presence not sure if it was because of my looks, my outfit or anything that I was not aware of. They were laughing the entire time, again not sure what was funny but as professionals I think they could have shared their laughter or keep it professional. We went to check on the unit floor plans, as soon as we got in the next thing I heard was to send me a quote, I havent yet checked the unit or have a moment to look around, that showed me they were judgmental or they only care about money... I could be wrong or maybe I am wrong. Okay, we went back to the desk, I asked if I can go back and take one more look so I can picture if my bed or couch will be able to fit did not do that the first time because I was pressured with the quote that was thrown my way with few seconds that we went in. I never got a chance to go take look at the gym or other amenities they have or even move around the building at least so I can have an idea of the building. My guess is, they thought I was wasting their time while in reality I was real looking for my next home. Their communication is the worst, like the worst. How come you get approved and they can not call to inform that you gotta approved. I had to call them to get the details, their credit check is a hard inquiry, I never had a credit check on apartments and turned to be a hard one, what I am aware of, they are always soft inquiries according to what I had with previous places. I sent them my bank statements, they never informed me if they received them or inform me anything about it. Poor communication.Honestly, I did not really care about all these, the reason why I chose this place was because I wanted to save money so I can have other plans after a year and this place fell through on my budget. However, I did not appreciate a single thing from the beginning to the end. There is a saying that says God knows whats best for you even though you might not know what it is but I believe God knew this was not where he wanted me to be after I applied and decided to let me go fall behind.... life wise.My suggestion, the staff or management should work and improve their communication structure, I understand they might be busy but they can always keep someone updated even if that something is not very important. Also be more professional and treat people even coz I went home with a mind that I was judged or picked on. Liked I said I might be wrong, only God knows. I can not say anything about living here coz I did not live here and I thank God for that. This must be the negative review I have ever given since I have been here in America and I did want to this but since it is a way I have to express my opinion I think the staff will forgive me and move on. Hopefully, things will change and in future I might get an opportunity of leasing...who knows. For now I wish everyone here all the best and more leasing to the property.Stay blessed. Peace.
Let me start by saying I live at Olympus At Ross for (4) lease terms!! I have experienced the ups and the downs. I have experience multiple different management changes. I have experienced so much but I must say there was always a reason of why I kept re-signing my lease term. I have made some really nice relationships with the leasing office team over my stay as I did not have any family in Dallas so being treated as the DIVA of the building which was very much appreciated. During my last months at the building the decision of leaving stemmed from multiple different life changing things, etc. but Breyden and Molly made the transition and all very smooth for myself I must say. Perks! They used to have Chick-fil-A on certain mornings before residents went to work but they did take that away that was one thing I did love. They used to have better breakfast on weekends where you’d receive omelettes and a full breakfast now it’s like fruit muffins, a little bit of this a little bit of that and that was a little annoying when they made that change. The hallways aren’t always cleaned, the elevators aren’t always working, and the access points don’t always work but no community is perfect. I’m going to miss the team they currently have as I looked at them as friends! I’m going to miss taking the candy and Voss water from Molly. I’m going to miss annoying Breyden with unrealistic expectations. Toni is Toni gotta love her and her straight answers no chase! And Tati my DIVA of the office I’m going to miss her and her million dollar smile. Best of luck to you all ❤️
Do not move here. Property manager Alex is terrible. Dog poop in hallways and elevators. It is clean and nice when visiting during leasing hours. After that, the place is a mess. Not worth the money. Also they are scheming with the rent prices. One month its low, month later they are charging outrageous prices. Dont waste time here
Olympus really takes care of my packages! Never has there been a mistake in delivery administration, timing, or misplacement of my packages! They take each delivery seriously and it is much appreciated when I have important packages coming in. They text you immediately when it has arrived, so nice!
Management is very poor. Doors are still not fixed and anybody can come into the apartment. The gates are barely work. Honestly this place is not worth it. There are new apartments building right next to the complex so I advise people should really take their time to pick the right home for them if you dont want to deal with these issues.
I´ve been here for 6 months now and I´m liking the place and loving the gym. Management and staff seem to be always worried about offering a good service, especially Molly at the leasing office who is always there to provide fast solutions with a friendly attitude, very professional.
After shopping around for apartments, I finally found Olympus at Ross. Tanner and Jensina were so nice and made the experience of leasing so much more fun and hassle free. I wish all the apartment communities would train their staff members similarly. I had a wonderful experience and I love living here!
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS REVIEW. My list of horrible experiences with this apartment was too long for Google to handle, so please feel free to go to the Olympus at Ross Facebook page, or read the review in my attached photos. Please, find somewhere else to live. This place is not where you want to be.
We the residents make our home if theres poop in the hallway it our dogs not the complex issues I think they do great job cleaning after all the idiots that live here that cant pick up there cans of beer and there garbage they leave in in garage or there dog poop. The garage door was Brocken just simple reason no common sense slams into it. Pay $5000 a month u will will still have idiot come live at your community no matter where you live. I been here 9 months love it will not move from here for nothing.
Just moved in! I love it! So far great service! I love the ladies in the office. They are so professional and helpful!
DO NOT LIVE HERE! The management is awful and they dont care about your needs at all - they just want to fill the apartment so they can make money. I was told I was getting an apartment on the top floor, and then ended up on the 4th floor. I could constantly hear noise from the street, my neighbors on all side, and all around. The doors to the building were constantly broken and dented in so anyone could get into the building and security was so poor that cars were broken into and stuff went missing all the time. Ive never hated living somewhere so much.
I have lived here for a few months now and I dont have a single negative comment. Great staff, great amenities, great apartments. I highly recommend this place!
Have lived here for 5 months so far, the only issues have been extremely loud parties during weekends in the summer (but I dont remember the last time one of these parties occurred) and the sketchy area around Ross Avenue (but this is also improving dramatically)Free coffee, amazing pool, great apartment home, great amenities.
I’m lived at the Olympus since 2016 and it’s true, things have gotten progressively worse in the last 12 months. The positives about the community: the apartments are actually really nice, and they have an A+ Maintenance staff. They’re by the best Maintenance team I’ve ever had, and they usually resolve issues within 24 hours of a request being made.I’ll start with some of the controllable items like management and security. The management team recently lacks any common sense or human touch. I forgot to submit my rent, due to me out of town for a funeral, so I submit on the 6th or 7th of the month. No big deal right? Nope. Apparently there was $33.00 balance due based on when I paid. The management team began sending badgering emails about $33.00. Not a shred of common to just add it to the next month’s statement. Just threats on top of threats. That’s a really great experience for a long time resident.Let’s discuss the worsening security, and the human beings that actually vanish here. For some reason nobody thinks it’s a big deal for random people to be walking in the parking garage, casing out cars. Then the people that come into our building, check to see if doors are unlocked to your apartment so that they can burglarize it. When I mention this, their response was, you should’ve notified the police. Well, I did, but you manage this place... do you want to discuss maybe getting better security????Lastly, I’ll mention, and probably the reason random people are walking around the property and casing out their next opportunities, are the external doors that are constantly open or broken. This would probably reduce some of the issues if there was a care in the world to address them. The fact is, I’m not renewing my lease here and I wouldn’t recommend another person move here.
There are many pros and negatives to this specific apartment complex.Ive been noticing a lot of similar negative reviews and I agreed to an extent but I also disagree with many of the comments as well. The Pros:1. When I originally moved in 2016, I got a pretty good deal on studio from an assistant manager name Melissa. Melissa was great! I can see why another company stole her away.2. Alex the main manager he was actually extremely friendly and offered a wonderful deal to my partner and I when we decided to move into a two bedroom in 2017.3. The leasing ladies are extremely lovely wonderful to talk too and really friendly. I want to go down there and just chitchat with them. The Negatives:1. It seems like every other week a new policy is being brought to the residence attention and most are not favored or liked. Recently they changed the trash and recycling policy. A lot of apartment complexes in Dallas have valet trash which Im curious why Olympus hasnt been part of that trend. We paid $15 per month take out the trash out. But the real complaint is there is no recycling on every floor anymore so now we have to walk all the way down to the parking garage and drop off our cycle so whoever came up with this new idea clearly does not live here. There needs to be a recycling bin on every floor. It was ridiculous to take that away.2. Im seeing a lot of people talk about dogs poop in the hallways and in the elevator which Ive never seen but I will say that people do not pick up after their dogs poop in the dog park.3. Theres many times where our Key fob for garage clicker ran out of battery juice. So I would go down to the front office and ask to reset the fob and/or garage clicker and sadly they forgot to do something that takes less than a minute to process.4. Im still dealing with smokers and very loud people at night, and not to sound racist but its always black people. Again not a racist but I havent seen or heard white people talking loud at 2am. This is supposed to be a non-smoking residence so how is it that we have people in here that smoke.5. The WORST rule that Ive seen are these POOL bracelets we are supposed to wear at the pool. Im paying a fee to enjoy the pool how dare this apartment tell me I have to choose a maximum of two people. I cant invite my family and my partner to enjoy the pool…stupid rule!!!! Everyone in this apartment hates this rule and this one rule will make residents leave very quickly.
Title: Avoid, not actual luxury. This is the type of place that will hunt you down for giving them a 1-star review. In addition they also always put (here on google maps) to contact them but its all to save face. Once you email/call they only care about you switching your reviews and do nothing to address your concerns. The bad:Entrance is not safe, anyone can get in if they just follow you. Dog poop everywhere. Weed smoke all the time. Smoking is common. Unresponsive management that does not care about the community. The good:The few people working that do help DO HELP. but they work at such inconvenient hours! So if you do need help you better take the day off.The maintenance staff is 11/10 and the events are awesome. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star. They have weekly events for all residents. Great food too!
If you give them a well deserved 1 star review they will track you down and do the same to your business....very, very classy.
You will pay top price for this apartment building but have bottom-price problems. In December, my apartment flooded and I was out of my apartment for nearly a month. Instead of offering to pay half the rent that I had already paid I was given a measly $250. I’m not sure if Jake is the apartment manager or someone else, it is quite unclear since the management has changed three times in my two years of being in this property. The incident happened around Christmas and I did not have a place to stay pretty much until way after the new year. My apartment still smells like antifreeze and sewage and the maintenance staff has been all around lax. While they were not fixing my apartment, they shut my electric down this somehow managed to rank up a high electric bill, my Partman was in livable. And the paint fumes was not cleared out in time. As well as a missing topcoat. The management of the maintenance crew has also changed and you can tell in the care of the property. The gate to get into the building was down for two months.Since my first lease, the community events have gone down in quality. The facilities aside from the floor where the model units and front door are, are not kept up well. If you tour the building please ask to see the third and fourth floors, you will experience patchwork like no other. If they show you the gym, ask if the televisions work.Olympus has many properties and I think that the Olympus At Ross building is the most neglected.
DO NOT and i will repeat DO NOT LIVE HERE. We have had problems with this place since the day we moved in in August. When we moved in. The elevator was broken. The service elevator used to move big furniture was broken. And it continues to break down every month or so along with the other elevators. The garage gate has been broken. The “secure” doors have been broken. The door on the 3rd floor garage still does not shut all the way which is not safe. The Luxer package system is continuously as well. And it is not secure. Most apartments have secure containers. This one your packages are just thrown about. Most recently a women went missing from inside the complex. Kidnapped and missing. The complex didn’t tell us the whole story about the information of her disappearance. I’ve never seen a courtesy officer on site.I work late nights and came home one night around 3am. There were a group of young teenagers walking down and around the garage. I parked in a “reserved” spot as i know no one is paying for it because it has been vacant for months. I parked there for the night because i didn’t feel comfortable or safe with these teenagers walking around and especially with a young girl going missing recently. And they towed my car. No warning ticket or anything. I went to the leasing office to ask if my car had been towed or maybe stolen since there have been numerous break ins as well. TONI was absolutely useless. She replied “maybe it was towed” maybe??? Shouldn’t you know what cars are towed from your complex. She didn’t offer a number or company of where my car might be. I finally asked her for the number and explained the situation and if they could help me with anything regarding my car. She bluntly said no.They would rather deal with another missing persons than keep their residents safe and it’s disgusting.Counting down the days till i can move out of this NOT luxury apartment complex and definitely not refer anyone. Go the the Alexan at Ross, Modera Hall, or ANY other complexes will be better than this one.I wish i could give zero stars. But the One star would be for the friendly maintenance guys. As for the leasing agents, They are all horrible and do not know what they are doing.UPDATE. My boyfriends car now has gotten broken into.
Im a resident at Olympus on ross for about 3 months now I feel like yall should pay more attention to incidents and yes yall were really polite about the whole situation but that doesnt bring my vehicle back! My vehicle was stolen from the garage this past tuesday at 7am now Im wondering where is the security that we supposedly have! I been trying to be ok about the whole situation but just about this time Im really irritated and with no vehicle and again yall were really polite about the whole situation but thats still doesnt bring my car back! I moved here thinking I was going to have a secure home but so far its been a really bad experience 😔
People get kidnapped here, cars get robbed, guns go off, the electronic locks often dont work and its always loud at night. Also, there is no courtesy officer even tho they claim they have one. AVOID! Remove luxury from your name.Read Dallas Dream Apartmentss review LOL. What a joke, wonder how much they paid for that.
Not a resident, but stayed this past weekend through Airbnb. Complex was confusing to navigate as all hallways are identical. The unit was not clean- stained carpet, holes in the wall where the TV used to be, walls were filthy. Was woken up at 2:30am Saturday due to people yelling and swimming in the pool after hours.
Visited one of my friends at this apartment complex - will never visit her again. Literally will pay for her gas to visit in Coppell. There was dog poop in the hallway, and the smell of pee everywhere. One of the elevators was broken.Does not seem that the property management actually care about the place nor the tenants that are paying money to live here..... There corporate office needs to look into getting new management because its obvious that no one is taking care of this place.
Do not move here! I visited a friend here and OMG! This place needs a night clean up crew and security. It has ghetto tenants and unclean. When I visited, he showed me disgusting pictures of things he has to put with while living here. Great amenities but definitely not ran as it should.
Just for the record, I love posting good things...BUT, when a place is attempting to publicly say they are “luxury”-OH MY GOODNESS NO I FEEL LIKE I PAY PREMIUIM FOR A GHETTO!!!!Doors have been unlocked for 3 weeks starting the week before Christmas, and the garage gates- COME ON IN ANYONE and steal our belongings (have had multiple thefts from car btw!!!!!)Now all of the gates worked mysteriously tonight 1/17/18 but then no one is able to get in, not even people who are in from different countries are able to get in to VRBO corporate housing. I’ve had to let numerous people in and have had to try on successfully to break in the hallways so I can get home considering my keys don’t work like everyone elseThis place is such a damn joke and it is pathetic the events that they put on to distract residence of essential necessities and security measures that are not in effect.Unknowingly my lease was renewed without my knowledge and I find a great circumstance to fight this lease because the management is absolutely under par and this is substantially unfair to all of those residents that are paying a premium price for a premium security that is not properly in effect for their residenceY’all are terrible/Should be ashamed of yourselves-and I can’t say anything positive about any of you at this moment considering I am locked out of the complex -New Fobs Still Dysfunctional for ALL RESIDENCE.
By far the WORST apartment experience I have ever had. The staff is unbelievably rude, the amenities are always broken and the people are ghetto and trashy. I would never refer nor recommend someone to this apartment complex as it is not worth it. They will tow your car, charge you fees for just about everything and close down the elevator for weeks and expect you to understand. Do not live here!!!!!
Dirty. God the elevators are gross, it smells & an unkempt place in general. Looks like a nice place from the outside, Im sure it used to be...Its loud as well, not somewhere where Id live. Thats just my opinion.
Do not lease here. Alex is not a good property manager at all. Also, it is dirty and ghetto at nights. Dog poop on elevators and trash. This all happens after 6pm when residents are actually home. Before 6pm they keep the property clean to con you into renting. But the times that you are actually home, 75% of the time the place is filthy and ghetto. Its located walking distance from east Dallas housing projects so we get a lot of break ins. They really should get rid of Alex also
Nice amenities and spacious apartments! Great location too
So here is a honest review, as I have lived here for 3 years, one of the first residents when it opened as Alexan Arts, I have seen the complete transformation of the property as well as the change of ownership and endless management turnover. The Pros:Great Location, easy access to 75,45,and 30. Ross is being revitalized or gentrified (however you want to put it) so new businesses are popping up.Apartment Interiors are beautiful. Great finishes.Maintenance responds very quickly to requests, sometimes same day.The landscaping and courtyards are nice. The pool is beautiful (when clean)The Cons:Security in this building is obsolete.Garage entry door is broken every month. If you have visitors, the entry gates where you can buzz them in have not been working in months. Big inconvenience. The business center, the printers never have ink or paper. The mingle room used to be open 24 hours where the business center is located but its now inaccessible after business hours. The hallways are dirty, they spot paint which makes the hallways look worse instead of just doing a new paint job.The residents never clean up after their pets, you will literally see the same dog waste for days.I dont even want to talk about the stairwell, it looks like someone smeared poop on the walls and its been there for at least a year.Resident activities have went downhill. Previous management had holiday dinners, poker nights, taco Tuesdays, the lists goes on.Now we are limited to a pool party with Little Ceasars Hot and ReadysThe soda machine that was a great add for the pool area, but has not been replenished in months.Speaking of pool area, do not move in a pool view unit if you want peace in the warm months. There will be no weekend daytime naps and due to the lack of security you will get random drunk people in the pool at 3AM waking everyone up. Find a courtyard or city view, Trust me.The luxury has went out the window with the last change of management and staff. Olympus needs to upkeep these apartments with the other new apartments being built around it, I would honestly move to another.
This review has been a long time coming.... Ive lived here for a full 2 years now. I have had some pretty great experiences and some unbelievably awful experiences!Pro: Geoffrey got me a fantastic deal when I leased, and the rent went up like $10 the second year!Con: I have street access so honestly I never go into the building except to get mail, and never see poop or pee in the hall ways. I do however notice that there is ALWAYS poop in the grass out side. If the complex would put poop bags outside it might encourage people to pick it up.Con: the trash. This apartment charges $15/Mo for trash, Even tho we have to take it to the garage ourself. On top of that, the dumpsters are always overflowing and trash left next to them. (Keep in mind the dumpsters are right next to the doors to get into the building and they smell absolutely horrible!Con: cigarettes. This is supposed to be a “NON-Smoking” community. With that said I am constantly having to pick up cigarettes off my first floor patio. Literally multiple cigarettes a day. This went on for almost a full year. And got so bad that I had to have a meeting with the regional manager (Chanda) and Alex the office manager. On top of that it makes it hard to open your door and enjoy a nice evening when all you smell is smoke. I even found smoked butts in the bed of my truck.....Pro on the cigarettes: meeting with managers helped and they made the problematic tenant move.Con: crime. The crime is rampant around here. The new construction and tearing down of old housing has forced the low income streets to target our complexes. My car got broken into parked on the street less than 50 feet from me while I slept, and Peoples cars are getting broken into in the “secure” garage. Along with burglarys if you live on the first floor and are outside you will constantly get harassed by homeless people asking for money.Con: they used to have a security guard that would be here at nights, but that disappeared fast.Con: noise. I know apartment living comes with some noise, but the absolute insane amount of noise coming from my neighbors is unacceptable. Parties, stomping, sex noises. It’s an all out free for all here. I even here parties from 2 and 3 floods up. So be prepared to deal with that.Con: parking. Parking in the garage is super cramped for a truck, and there is never room on the first 3 floors. So I park on the street, where I can keep an eye on my car. But don’t count on that either. People who live here are terrible at parking with respect (taking up a huge spot with a tiny car, even tho another car could fit). And the visiting guests are even worse!!!Con: the people who live here seem to be more on the younger side. And tend to not have any respect for anything or anyone. They seem to be really ghetto and constantly looking for trouble. I’ve been harassed and yelled at called “honky” and “cracker” just simply walking to my car. (Luckily I am always carrying so not o worried).Summary: I would not rent here again knowing all that I know now, I might be locked in for another year just because of convince sake, but I would not reccomend renting here unless it’s all you can get.
This review is long over due. After a hard day of work I come home to a filthy parking garage with overflowing trash. Cool, as I walk into the elevator, I am met with beer cans and filth. After dropping off my bags to my apartment I go down to the mingle room to enjoy some free coffee. Immediately it looks and feels like a party ended 30 minutes prior. FILTH. I go to use the guest restroom, and lets just say I decided to hold it instead. I then go to my apartment, lay on the bed, and scroll through previous photos of numerous similar experiences over and over again.Olympus, I work hard to pay $20,000 a year on rent, I would like to see you do a better job earning it.
