The worst pedi/medi Ever. Basically, 1lady started the💧extremely hot!! 2nd lady balance the water & quickly pedi/ medi and charged my card $473. Of course refund card but, quick quick service...things happen like this. The service left me a 11yrs. Breast Savior distraught in my head. I tip her $5.though bcuz God is good!! Yet, 4-days later...Im totally depressed 😔

This place has gone downhill since I was a regular a few years ago. I don’t live in Chicago anymore so I thought it’d be nice to get service at a familiar place. My nails were obviously rushed, which is why everyone who came in after me was requesting the other guy (“Harris” I think). My eyebrows turned out beautifully with the fill in. Lashes also look great but the glue they use is tacky long after it should have dried hard. I mean days later and this glue still has that tacky feeling, burning the corner of my eyes. Won’t be returning but it was nice to reminisce.

I visited this nail salon on March 20th, seven days later 27th, my nails began popping off. I do understand that peoples nails can grow fast but due to the fact that this is my first time encountering this issue I do believe its technique. (detailed) I do remember when she was applying the acrylic the tech got a bit on my cuticle then tried to clean it up with the drill, that is something that will automatically cause lifting. Anyone wanting to get in and out-- service was quick.

Everything was real lazy work and the basic manicure was worst. She clipped my cuticles and slapped some polish on and charge extra $20. I am done with Asian nail shops. Going to the black owned shop on 67th Stoney Island. If I got to over pay then I will pay where I am comfortable and treated with some kind of respect. I should have reported them to the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulations. These Asians dont like black people and we should stay out of their businesses.

Harris is great, I absolutely love my nails! He took wonderful care with doing my nails and I really appreciate that!

One hour wait first thing Saturday morning. No one greeted me but apparently you sign the book w/your name and service and sit and wait until youre called. The shop is much bigger than I thought and there were a lot of techs working giving something like an assembly line feel. Overall I was happy with my no chip pedi, it was fast and efficient once it was finally my turn.

They tell you to Write your name down but then an obnoxious customer or one of their regulars stroll in,, theyll SEAT THEM,, But Im the villain when I speak up they tell you to be patient because Ive been overlooked REALLY not worth it... The aggravation.

Love them. Its a real vibe. The owner had a great hustle and conversation. It felt like that 90s salon vibe because everyone was conversing with each other with no judgement and different opinons. This shop lacks time management skills, Waited 2 hours before receiving any service after being told one hour wait. Moral of the story if you want to spend 4 hours at the nail shop this is the right place for you . Many customers made complaints regrading the unorganized environment. Pedicure quality was low for a high price, Acrylic nails was average at best .NEVER AGAIN! We have to stand on making sure they value our money

Really enjoyed the pedi but the mani was short and not all that great...maybe she will take her time next time around but overall they were pretty good for a Sunday afternoon pamper me day

Liz is a whole disrespectful mess they tell you 1 price and when service is done its always a different high price they need to clean up and I see why its always empty even on Fridays if you in a rush is the only way you should go here because its always seats available no one goes there anymore stay away if you dont want to be treated any kind of way and lied too

They let customers come in when they know ahead of time that its gonna be 1hr or more wait. Then customers come in with others already waiting. Theyre not ENOUGH people working. Just say no its a long wait. Service is awful 😫 I wont be back

A lady wanted them use new products on her pedicure i watched them package old products in new packaging! I paid $70 for matte it was off n 3 days! Broke a nail 3 days after $70 payment they wanted to charge me $8 plus more to repolish to make matte! Bad service by owner lady others are ok.

My first time coming to this nail salon. I went for a brow wax. They have signs up saying payment is due BEFORE service ! No refunds! How is this even acceptable?? So if I don’t like the way a tech is shaping my nails it’s my loss because they would already have my money. And ppl still go there? Crazy! You would never see a sign like that on the north side! WORST NAIL SALON EVER! I had acrylics on from a week before and I told them I had to soak and they refused to do so. When they called me up the guy who did my nails simply used another acrylic nail to rip the fake nail off my natural nail. I kept telling him it HURT and I would pull my hand away and he would not let my hand go. Once he placed the acrylics on he cut them too short and shaped them completely wrong. I asked for coffin and he gave me ballerina. I told him that one of my nails was uneven and longer than the rest and he said I didnt know about nails. Refused to trim it down. He charged me $46 for a job not worth it. He had just finished doing another girls nails and did not clean his work space after. The entire time I felt like he was rushing because it was a couple hours before closing.

My nails started to lift up (ladies we know that feeling when our nails are lifting up, tearing our real nail) and Friday, March 16th I went to get them fixed, to chop the lifting part off and get a fill-in. Ok first off, he never chopped the lifting part of the acrylic off, he just basically did a fill-in right over it. Not even 24 hours later my nails started to lift up again😡 I went back today (Saturday, March 17th) I said he did my nails and they’re lifting again sooooo all they did was put nail glue back on them. I said if this happens again I’m coming back and getting them done for free because this is a mess. He’s like if you hit something they’ll come off I said I didn’t hit anything you just did them not even 24hrs ago sir.... so, yea they’re horrible and basic! SN the brow lady is BOMB, that’s the only good thing to go there for! This was my 3rd time coming here, the first two weren’t so great neither, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but 3 strikes you’re out! Sorry

I was skeptical going to this nail shop however I was glad I came. I got a soak off, full set and my eye brows did service was fast and this was on a Friday. I will definitely be back!

This nail shop not once but twice disappointed me with the poorest service I have ever seen I waited an hour with my feet in the water until someone serviced me then I went to get my eyebrows done after that I payed then the women asked me if I wanted my fill-in I said yes. Then she goes to ask me to come back the next day because all the workers where leaving but I been waiting and been told them what I wanted even wrote it on the sign in sheet next to my name just for them to do half of what I asked for. The very first time I visited them they did not use enough acrylic on my nails which caused them to pop off an hour after I left and they closed went back the next day and they refused to fix unless I paid they have lost me as a client for sure this time good luck to those who go hope you have better service than I did

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I paid for a no chip manicure, and the polish on three of my nails had either peeled/chipped or completely come off by the fourth day. I asked the technicians to fix my nails, and they admitted that my “no- chip manicure” was faulty because the proper base coat wasn’t used. Understandable, because mistakes do happen. I ask for all of my nails to be redone, because if these three nails have already been ruined by not doing them properly initially, it is only a matter of time before the rest of my nails mess up as well. Furthermore, I want the proper No-Chip Manicure that I paid for. Needless to say, they refused to fix all of my nails, and only agreed to fix the three. Regardless of the fact that I paid $30 for a NO-CHIP MANICURE that wasn’t even done correctly to begin with. Please do not support this business. They are extremely rude and do not respect your time or money.

I got my nails done here about four times and Wendy would do such a great job. But the last time I came to get my nails done I felt like I was being rushed. Getting your nails done is suppose to be relaxing shouldn’t feel like you’re in the drive thru. Needless to say Wendy wasn’t there on this particular day. I attempted to come back and she still wasn’t there won’t be going back.

Ive been going to Sister Nail and Spa for over a year and I am totally satisfied. I have my own Nail technician Jackie Chan I like how he does my nails. I was there today and I also had a pedicure Im happy 😃😃

Honestly the first time I went was good. But I went for a fill and it was the WORST fill I have EVER EVER gotten!! I am completely stunned by how unprofessional they were and unwilling to listen. This is the worst polish job, filing, everything I have ever had. It is ridiculous.

My first visit was mothers day weekend and I got a pedicure and a full set. I really liked the outcome and I was in and out in less than 2 hrs considering they were crowded.I went back this past Monday for a pedicure and a fill in. My pedicure was great but I did not care for how my nails turned out. I had a different person than the 1st time so Ill have to be a little choosy when I go back. Overall, Im satisfied and I will return.

It was hot when I first got there, there’s not enough workers which is odd because there’s always more than enough workers. I been sitting in this water waiting for 25mins. No one asked how was my water or told me it’ll be a minute before someone could get to me. And it’s like everything they do they do it very very slow motion. Like sloths.

I pointed out too many mistakes as he was doing them. I got the shape that I wanted but the ombré is just not good, it doesn’t look like what I showed him at all and had to pay $60 for it. Now I have to get a color painted over it I’m disappointed..

Unprofessional, rude and completely inconsistent with services being offered along with pricing. Living close by I’ve tried numerous times to patronize their business and consistently they offend me by being outright rude and lying about services they do or don’t offer. Due to servicing a predominately African American community they feel justified having deplorable business practices and still turning a profit but it’s not okay and we deserve better service. I won’t be back again. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Just moved in the area and decided to try this shop. I like that it is spacious and looks clean. BUT the employees are rude, and very unprofessional. They dont have a productive way to call customers once we sign the sheet. They just call you without looking at the sheet and do not cross off customers worked on so theres confusion regarding whos next. I came in for a gel full set, pedi, brow and lashes. While doing my pedi, Im told the lady who does lashes and brows is gone but I waited in the shop for an hour until being advised of this. Then I find out the lady who does it is also the owner, who was still there but had another employee doing her nails even though the shop was packed with customers waiting. They didnt want to do my nails because I wanted the old ones soaked off instead of yanked off and damaging my real nails. I wish i had just left. They inflate prices, each tech gives you a different price. $45 for a full set and soak off. And $44 for 2 pedicures....they are worse than down town prices. I will NEVER go back here again!!! Completely disappointed!!!!!! The entire management needs to be changed.

Theres not a lot of concern for the customer regardless what service you are receiving its really a rough job when you come in theres a long wait. And its as if they just see dollar signs Rush you in and Rush you out. And theres always someone arguing or complaining about the service

Dirty shop... Staff has bad Attitudes

First I was in the shop for nearly 2.5 hrs for a no chip mani and pedicure (first sign that there was a problem) after waiting 30minutes for my turn. The male nail tech messed up my no chip so bad that i had to have him re-do 6 of my 10 nails. The polish was so sloppy and he re did them so many times that my fingers were burning under the UV light. I gave up after he tried to fix them considering I was getting ready to go out of town the next day I just couldnt waste any more time. SURE ENOUGH by the second day of my vacation my nail polish had chipped on every damn finger!!! I came back the next week once I got back from out of town (8days later) and The Owner told me there is nothing she can do! She did not bother to look at the quality of the polish, she did not look at my receipt and barely looked me in my eyes. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXTREMELY GHETTO! I used to come here Frequently even though I hated how ghetto it was but now after this Ill never come here again. If I could give them negative stars I would. Stay away!

Went last minute after wk and they were not busy.... I was skeptical, I was seated immediately, a gentleman proceeded to do my nails (Im a little prejudice, I rather have a lady because I believe she WE know how nails Should look, men dont care... Right?). Well the previous Lady Messed me up over at...... So I decided anything was better than what I had. I am So glad I stayed and allowed this Man do my nails. He did them better than at my regular place. You have won my business!

I’ve had good experiences prior to today’s visit. I got a no chip manicure and the lady who runs the shop did my manicure and polish change on my toes. Due to her trying to place people in chairs and cashing people out, she rushed my polish change on my toes, so they look mediocre. As she was doing my manicure, she cut my cuticle, causing it to bleed and when asked about it there was no apology. She put the blame on me for wanting my cuticles cleaned, saying I shouldn’t have gotten a manicure just a polish change. It’s been over a month since my last manicure, so it was time for another but according to her it wasn’t. I’m very disappointed in the service today and if I return, I will definitely not have her working on my hands again. I came to this shop because it was cheaper than my normal place and now I regret it because I definitely received cheaper service and the quality of my manicure was poor.

Just walked in the shop, theres a lady with 2 kids & a young adult walk in right in front of me. The lady whos always rude & watching everybody MONEY asks what theyre getting then tells them what they aint gonna get after the lady told her. Then she asks me, so what are you getting? I replied a mani & pedi the rude bish then says were closed! I politely walked out, because, THEY WILL NEVER GET MY MONEY AGAIN!! Why even waste a breath cursing her out! Look at the reviews. I still was going even after all 3 of my sisters discontinued their services a while ago. Smh it was only a matter of time for me anyways.

They were rude but I needed my toes done 2day so I waited, 30 min. Asked tech 2 clean the bowl w/disinfectant, she said no & now I have 2 wait 1 hr. I blew upa I feel bad 4 that, bcuz thats embarrassing 2 me. But Im not letting this go. Calling the health Dept & the BBB, the nerve of some1 asking u 2 pay 4 a service then be nasty & rude. Terrible experience. Extremely rude staff and very bad quality of work. My no chip manicure chipped off within a few days and this extremely rude staff refused to fix it. The whole purpose of no chip is for it to last at least a week and half. Extremly disappointmented. I will not be going back.

WORST NAIL SHOP IVE EVER EXPERIENCE!! My gel polish was done by Ryan and it was so thick. He tried to fix it after acting like he didn’t know what I was saying and said I needed to change my polish color and that would fix the problem (no it was the shaping of my nails and the gel thickness) The lady who calls the customers had me wait for so long until I asked who will service me and I had to curse her out for bad customer service and saying I need to repay after I just paid $60 for service. I will NEVER GO THERE EVER AGAIN. I only came because Taday Nails on 44th Cottage Ave was closed for the holiday. Bad customer service, bad employees who play on their English and overpriced. Oh yeah thanks for calling the cops on me.

One of the worst experiences at a nail salon. They tried to leave me soaking in acetone for over an hour just to do a soak off. My skin feel like paper, acrylic is STILL all over my hands. I will never go back.

I love coming here...they are usually quick and fast...and compared to other nail salons they have more good manicurists than bad...

Been here multiple times, the first few times were great. Then I got a guy who could not file my nails evenly. I ended up filing them myself...After a few rushed/botched jobs, filing my nails myself and dealing with the rude owner I have since found another nail salon to give my money too...

This is an ok shop to go-to cuz a few of them can do nails. But, when u have a prob management sucks! U can barely understand them and they cant comprehend what youre trying to tell them the prob is. Also, the lady that handles the front has the WORST disposition her attitude is offensive especially when theres a prob. She never smiles and shes very impersonable. Shouldnt be working with the public! They do not handle probs with ease. You will leave very frustrated and upset cuz there was no resolution.

I went there yesterday late afternoon n got a pedi. While there, I ran into my daughter npaid for her nails n eyebrows with my credit card, $65.00. We also gave tips to the ones who did us. I left around 6 n when I took a bath at night, saw there was dead skin under the balls of my feet, not a big deal. I went back around noon the next day (today) n wastold that there was nothing they were going to do, that once a customer leaves, that is it.The manager did not bother to look at my feet or my receipt n when I asked to have the dead skin removed or a refund, she said she would call the police on me. I said fine n waited so I could get an incident number.The police were kind after I told them whathappened n maybe cuz I am also a senior.I would say to anyone, Do Not Go There!Instead, spend your money with someonewho respects you! Theyre at 50th n Cottage Grove in the strip mall, Sister Nail n Spa, Chgo.UPDATE: I WROTE TO THE CHICAGO OFFUCE OF FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ASKING HOW MANY TIMES THIS NAIL SALON HAS CALLED THE POLICE FROM THIS STORE N I WAS SHOCKED WHEN IT SAID POLICE HAD BEEN CALLED 74 TIMESIN 4 YEARS. 74 TIMES!!! Went to get my eyebrows arched and two days after washing the shading off my eyebrows looked as if they had never been touched. Went back to see if theyd thin them out a little more and they refused. Saying I needed to pay them again to fix the botched job. Smh

They were ok until they mixed regular nail polish with no chip. My nails chipped and looked dry and plain and the lady refused to do them over and tried to convince me it was ok. 👎🏽
