Im so baffled by the reviews on this salon because they seem so positive, yet my experience was ridiculous. I paid $52 (which yes, is a steal for Edison Park) for a no-chip mani and regular pedicure.For starters, the salon is a mess, and it leads me to question their sanitation process. The lady doing my nails kept getting up between my service; she didnt have anything ready. They overflowed the basin my feet were in. She didnt put flip flops on my feet until after painting my nails. She didnt even scrub my feet or legs, which is standard for pedicures anywhere else.For my hands - that was a joke. I chose a light pink base with simple glitter. I ended up with globs on my fingers after 6, YES SIX, coats of polish. She didnt even moisturize my hands after.I wish I was exagerating this review, but I am not. I have tried salon after salon in the area but end up feeling like Im paying too much. But after this experience, Im going back to the original salon I visited and am willing to pay for a clean environment and a real foot scrub.I do not recommend this place. Go to Smiley Nails instead. West on Touhy Ave.
