Went in for a haircut this weekend via ClassPass and overheard the people at the front desk mumbling about it. I didn’t think much of it at the time so I took my seat and proceeded to wait. I’m then called up for my haircut where the barber, Walter, gave me the most unprofessional haircut I have ever received in my life. My hair is important to me and I have always made sure to get it cut right, always taking roughly 30-45 minutes on average. But not this time. I don’t understand how a haircut can be done in under 10 minutes, especially with hair like mine that needs to be properly taken care of. And in those 6-8 minutes that it took to “complete” the cut, he still found time to passive-aggressively talk down to me about ClassPass and the people who use it, mentioning that only people who are not from around here and don’t know what they’re doing use it. Afterwards, he played dumb and asked me to write my name and number on a piece of paper and gave me his card. It’s been a while since I’ve hated my hair, but thanks to Walter, I get to experience it all over again. I will never be coming back to The Spot and will make sure to strongly advocate against it to everyone I know.

Every time I come to the Spot Barbershop, I always have a very pleasant experience. I always get a cut with Jeffrey, who never fails to do a great job which is why I keep coming back. Not only is Jeffrey great but so is everyone else. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming, especially the hostess, Pastor who never fails to fix me up a nice little drink. I’ve been to the other locations but the Merrick park location is by far the best and a big plus is the fact that there’s parking right in front as well.

Its always a great experience to go to any of their different locations. My husband & the boys love to get their haircuts at the spot. My husband also gets his beard done with them. The service its awesome, theyre very friendly. They always offer you a drink or Cuban coffee. We really enjoy going and giving our business to The Spot Barbershop. As far as barber shops go, the spot is quite literally the BEST place in Miami to get a haircut. The environment is warm and inviting and complimentary drinks range from water to coffee to top shelf liqueur. Each barber at the spot will treat you with care and respect but Raul is a cut above the rest. His attention to detail and styling is exquisite. He will get you looking right, no matter what type of hair is on your head. Hands down one of the best shops in Miami. Everyone working there is courteous and it feels literally like you’re walking in to your own home. All of the barbers there are overly qualified and an artist in their craft. I had the pleasure of being serviced by Andres T ( Tall guy, epic beard, has the coolest decorations at his station). Top notch work from this gentleman, I would recommend him to anyone looking to keep their hair and beard (as well as skin) looking fresh and clean.

Hard to contact over the phone. Ive had walk ins take my appointment time then having to wait.... My barber leaving mid cut to meet with other outside then give me the worst cut Ive ever had.Hmmm.

I always get a cut with Jay Picasso. He always meet my expectations with his work and great attitude. This place is amazing! The lady (I forget her name but a Spanish lady) that cut my hair was the best barber Ive been too. First time I let a female cut my beard and she did beyond amazing. She fixed my eyebrows, and cut my hair as well and took her time. Would definitely be back if I didnt live in St Pete

I’m picky when it comes to a barber spots but The Spot at Merrick Park is hands down the best spot in Miami. Gabriel always makes sure I have a crisp new haircut and he’s always easy to talk to. It feels like family every time I come in here and I get compliments on every since cut. Love it here and you will too I promise!

I have been going to Raul for about a year now, amazing barber, and great personality. He knows exactly what you want, and executes it perfectly. A big plus for me, he is the only barber I’ve had that is timely. If your appointment is at 10, you’ll be on the chair at 10.Very clean and aesthetically pleasing location.

Raul gave me a great cut, Mariana was a great host, the complimentary coffee was excellent, the music was on point, and the shop was a generally cool environment. Raul not only gave me a cut, but he gave me a recommendation on my style. I took his advice, and Im very happy with the outcome. Will be returning for my next cut.

Came to try out the Spots new location. Have to be honest I was impressed! They have a convenient parking lot right in-front of the location which started my experience quite nicely. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and offered a drink from one of the barbers named Miguel. Needless to say he himself made me an old fashion drink. I was impressed! Not only did he make me a amazing drink but Miguel ended up giving me the haircut.And it took off from there! Miguel made my experience one to remember. I honestly didnt know what to do with my hair but I knew I wanted different. Miguel did a perfect job of asking the necessary questions to give me what I wanted without me knowing what exactly that was! His high IQ of how hair works is why I am coming back to him. I asked him a series of questions about what he recommended and his responses where logical and very much appreciated! I felt his passion for his craft over-shined and evolved to knowledge that I was able to obtain!To be honest the shop looks amazing but my experience I had with Miguel the barber is what is going to make me come back. I loved my cut. I loved the journey it took to complete it! Amazing place!Check out Miguel and I promise youll be impressed as I was!

The environment is really cool and I got a complimentary face mask they were doing as a promotion that was a great mask but unfortunately the barber didn’t listen to what I asked for and instead of having short, tight sides and keeping the majority of length on top, I essentially got a 3 buzz cut all around. They were fine about me not being happy about the cut and I didn’t have to pay which was nice of them but ultimately I wouldnt recommend this place based on the end result of what I received unfortunately.

I would recommend the Coral Way location much better cuts, barbers are on their phones a lot at the Merrick Park location. Cut was below par twice in a row tried two barbers, pushed a face mask on me the first time without letting me know its extra, this is not a nice try out if you get the bill in the end and have to tip before your scheduled cut?!?

I received a neck trim and beard shape up that was below average (lines were uneven).. much better places in the same area of Miami. Plus they tried to charge $50 for just this and I say no. Name was Jeff and he was not the best. Try other options.
