My absolute favorite nail salon in Chicago! Ive gotten my nails done here for the last 3 years every two weeks and havent looked back. My fav nail tech is Tiffany! Shes always on point with my nails and I always get compliments anytime we decide to do different designs. Not only is my nail tech bomb so is the environment! From the hit songs to the clean and nice ambiance, I would highly recommend nail envy! Photos added for reference!

I would like to say that Nail Envy is a very beautiful and clean nail salon. Their customer service is awesome and they’ve always been very polite. Tiffany is the best, and the reason that I will always go back to Nail Envy. Tiffany is AMAZING 🤩, her work is always flawless, and my nails are always so clean, polished, and filed to perfection! Ive been to Nail Envy several times as I live nearby. They do a fine job for a regular mani/pedi. Some technicians are friendlier than others, but generally you get a good service. My issue is that they book you in, and then when you show up they dont have anyone available to do the service. Today I booked a manicure about 1-1/2 hours in advance. I got there right on time, and there was no one to do my manicure. I was told to choose my polish and sit. I didnt happen to have extra time today to sit and wait, so I left after 10 minutes. I might seem impatient, but my expectation when you have an appointment is that they have someone ready to do your service, and if not immediately, then with an acknowledgement that youre waiting and well be ready for you in a minute. All technicians were in the middle of manis and pedis and didnt seem like they were going to wrap up any time soon. This is the second time this happened to me there, and the first time I was one of three customers that left after sitting and waiting awhile (with no assurance that well be right with you). Just sit and wait. Sorry! Simple customer service. Too many other places to go.

Wanted to treat myself since I had some time to kill. Had passed several nail shops but settled on this one. Kind of wish I didn’t. Receptionist gave me a warm greeting and was very kind and is the only positive experience I had. He was a kind fellow with nice long hair (jealous!). I got Sherry. I did not enjoy her energy. She was very dry and non inviting. I almost felt like she was annoyed she had to do my manicure. I noticed that several people had to instruct her to do things which I found odd and unsettling. The thing that bothered me the most, mid mani she said I pay now. Did she think I was going to run out? I’ve had mani and pedis before. They ask you to make payment before or after the service. I thought that was so unprofessional and the way she said it was so demanding. Anyway, I tried putting the whole incident behind after leaving but couldn’t because my mani didn’t even last me till the end of the day. I have done worse things to my nails and it’s not like I’m doing construction. What’s the deal? I was not happy.

Nails are nice I showed them a photo and it was done well. But they made me pay before they finished and I didn’t see them ask anyone else too. This made me uncomfortable.

After a less than satisfying experience me and my friend asked to speak to the manager to express our frustration (we had made appointments for 3 people and after one of us waiting for over 35 minutes our one friend decided to go elsewhere). The manager on the phone was flippant, said well even doctors offices make you wait(AS IF A NAIL SALON CAN BE COMPARED TO MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS), and proceeded to hang up the phone on us in what I can only describe as shocking and unprofessional. We were not asking for a free service, and made it clear to the woman on the phone, we just wanted to be heard and could not believe what we were met with. id suggest working on your hospitality if you are to be in this business. will not be coming back

They got me in on short notice, but wasnt super happy with my nails - my nail beds look super fat from this acrylic job. The tech took her time and did pay attention to detail, so maybe it was just a preference thing. They also feel bumpy as if the nail wasnt buffed completely before polish, but the polish itself does look nice! They were so nice and accommodating to my short notice appointment (my partner proposed to me the night before and my nails werent done!).

I have been a loyal customer for the past four years, but after my recent visit I do not believe I will be revising. To begin, I told the nail tech 3 TIMES to not be as aggressive when taking the dip off because she kept hurting me. On the fourth time I pulled my hands away and told her to use the buffer which she continued to use it harshly on my nails. Then when doing the color she left them completely not opaque. I am paying for a service, I am not getting this for free. To say I was disappointed is a BIG UNDERSTATEMENT. I was running late for work because it took them over an hour and half to do my nails when normally its a hour or else I would have asked to speak to the manager. Please listen to your customers and make sure you are providing a great service. I will not be returning, highly disappointed.

They never answer their phone and when you walk in they say they are booked, but there is no way to book as they dont answer their phone to be able to make an appointment. This has happened on several occasions. Not professional. Poor customer service.

I am not from Chicago and I was looking for a good nail salon. I was so glad I decided to try this place Bc this place was amazing. They did my nails better then a lot of places I go. They deserve more than 5 stars. This place was better then I could have imagined. So thank you Nail Envy💛

Best dip manicure I’ve ever had. Took a little bit longer because of his attention to detail but it was definitely worth it. I will be making this my regular place in the area.

I got my lashes done with Lana and it was a great experience! She was super nice and her service was great. But what looked great was the lashessss!!!!! They are so pretty and she works to compliment your facial features! I would definitely check her out if youre trying to get some nice eyelash extensions.

I usually have a wonderful experience and my nails are always done so nicely. Today I had an appointment but had to wait almost 20mins. The lady I had to my nails was not very talkative or engaging at all, she worked very fast and I left pretty dissatisfied in how my nails turned out. Not smooth at all almost rough and patchy like- for spending a lot of money they shouldn’t be that way. May not go back so soon.

Didnt get the name of the young woman who worked with me. She did such a great job. Everything was smooth even and perfect. I had made an appointment but I ran way late. She still saw me and didnt rush me. I had a regular pedicure and no chip manicure. And it all turned out exactly how I wanted. We chatted almost the entire time. I told her I was visiting and she gave me amazing suggestions for things to do and see while in chicago. This place gets busy in the evenings though so make an appointment.

ROBBED IN STORE: On Saturday afternoon around 12:45pm I was sitting at Nail Envy getting a no chip manicure and had my bag and phone on counter right next to my arm. A guy that had passed the store and was scoping it out through the window walked back around and tried to steal my bag and phone but got away with phone only. The front desk did nothing and said nothing to this man in a hoodie who looked very suspicious when he came in and didnt do anything as he was trying to run out of front door. The only decent thing they did was show police the camera which I had to tell them to do!It gets worse! No one working there was very sympathetic or even cared that a theft in broad daylight just happened in their shop. I had to ask to use their phone so I could call police and husband for help. This man who I assume was the manager did not even apologize just came over to me and said I was in the back and didnt see it happen. I was disgusted by how the staff didnt take any ownership of this happening in their store that a customer was VIOLATED nor did they offer me any help or assistance.I also had to pay $60 dollars for nails which I couldnt believe they didnt even offer anything as I was just robbed in their shop due to lack of safety. Myself and all of my friends, mom groups and anyone I talk to will forever boycott this place due to the lack of safety and sheer disgustingly way they handled it.

My nails looked perfect! Staff was nice and professional!!However, I was the only black customer amongst 5 and I was told to sit in the back of the salon away from the rest of everyone despite the fact that there were numerous open spots in the front. Im not sure why this was, but it seemed fishy. Hence, only 4/5 stars.

I love the service here. They have color changing no chip manicures which I adore. All of my friends go crazy over the options. They have a large area and it a really nice space.

Ive been here twice and have enjoyed my experience both times. I think the prices are decent and everyone was helpful and friendly. My nails looked good both times.

They asked if I wanted a nail buff and failed to mention it was $5 until after I was paying. Pedicure was decent at best.

They are amazing and Paris is great at what she does, she got my feet looking so good. I give them 20 stars

Best gel manicures that last forever - love this place.

I visited this location multiple times and left disappointed each time.Their gel nails are not legit. Theyre just clear acrylic with a gel top coat. I called the technician on this and she claimed it was powder gel, which is not a thing. To top it off, she was stingy with the polish and applied 2 extremely thin coats of OPI, which faded around the edges after a matter of days.I tried a dip manicure not long after. The tech trashed my natural nails while removing my previous manicure and trimmed my cuticles until multiple fingers were bleeding. She wouldnt stop after being asked not to mess with them anymore. I should have just walked out but we continued with the manicure, which was a mistake. Apparently I was her first Guinea pig and ended up with chunky, uneven nails. The technician working next to her continually stepped in to correct her technique.Every single time someone used an electric file they over did it. I was left with incredibly thin, damaged nails thanks to multiple misguided visits to this salon.All this being said, everyone was friendly if not awkward.

While the place does look clean, there are other issues with this place. The main issue being the service. We walked in with an appointment for two spa pedicures, and were basically rushed through the process. They hardly used the pumise stone on either of our feet. We were supposed to have been given a choice between paraffin or a foot mask, but they just applied paraffin without asking us. But even with the paraffin theres no noticeable difference, from when we went in to when we left. Both of our colors were applied in a rush that it was smeared, and patchy. Two stars simply because it was clean.

I was a walk in potential customer I stood at the front desk for 5 minutes before anyone asked of they could help me. Finally a gentlemen that was getting his nails done asked if I had an appointment when I replied no he proceeded to check an iPad and then let me know that I would have to wait an hour. I was put off by the whole experience. Instead of him getting up and tending to a customer he proceeded to get his nails done. Very poor customer service and extremely snobby. Needless to say I left without having anything done and I would NEVER step foot in there again!

I recommend this nail salon. Got a great mani and pedi for $40. I went to this location for several years before the business was bought by a new owner in July 2015. The new business provides excellent service and the facility has been spiffed up.

I was recently there, and im very disappointed i dont like my nails at all. Very un even, got only one coat of nail polish, and it had air bubbles. I have never been so upset with a nail salon before.
