Ive been with Silver Property for almost 5 years now! Moved to 3 different locations and they made the transition very stress free and smooth. It has definitely improved much more since Miron became the property manager during the time Ive lived with Silver Property. He is very responsive with any request we need and ensures any issues we have gets resolved.
I have had multiple packages stolen from my building, along with other tenants. I contacted the property manager multiple times with this information, and am constantly brushed off and dismissed. I have even filed a police report but to no avail. Silver Property has made it clear that they are not responsible for packages being stolen within their own buildings, and no do care about the tenants wellbeing.
I have had a pleasant experience with Silver Property Management Group as a soon-to-be tenant. Robbie, a leasing coordinator, and Alicia, the office manager, have been responsive (to phone calls, e-mail, and text), prompt with scheduling viewings and application processing, and transparent about pricing. Do NOT rent from Silver Property Group. They are HORRIBLE. Theyll take forever to fix anything, try to intimidate you if you suggest that theyre taking too long, and just generally do the bare minimum maintenance. Theyre a bunch of rich guys who go around and buy perfectly fine buildings, gut rehab them in the cheapest way possible, and then collect as much inflated rent money as they can from you until your literal roof is leaking into your bathroom and you threaten legal action. THEN, and only then, they might do the bare minimum maintenance. Rented from them for 4.5 years; the roof leaked for all 4.5 of those years, including the last year when it started leaking into my bathroom (among numerous other issues over the years). Never again.Arrogant and inattentive ownership/management.
It has been nothing but a pleasure renting from the Silver Property Group. The apartment is nicely rehabed with updated amenities, bundled utilities with rent, and is a great value. Robbie Hillier and Miron Dalipi have both been very friendly and responsive flexible to any communication sent their way.
Do not rent from Silver Property group. They don’t care how things are fixed, if anything gets fixed at all. They have left numerous maintenance request unfulfilled. They don’t address any real issues and we were told nothing was going to get fixed until it got “warmer”.... 0/10 if possible.Broken pipes, wall falling out, exposed wires, leaks.Do yourself a favor and find somewhere better
Weve lived in 2 separate units over the course of 3.5 years in the same building and theres a reason why weve stuck with this management company. The property manager is professional and responsive and maintenance is efficient and very friendly. Every request has been handled promptly and efficiently. For example, we had a clog in our toilet occur over a holiday weekend and they had it fixed in under an hour. The value is great, the units are updated and safe. I would highly recommend this property group.
Had maintenance issue with a clogged drain and broken window blind. Bajram from maintenance was fantastic and did his job in a timely manner and was a good guy to talk with. Excellent job and kudos off to him!
I’ve lived in the same unit in Albany Park for the last 3 years and have had a fairly uneventful stay, which is a good thing. Most issues that I brought up to Miron, the property manager, were promptly addressed although some minor things did slip through the cracks which I didn’t bother to bring up a second time. However, he has always been responsive and straightforward with urgent matters such as getting locked out or a leak in the ceiling. My only issue is the lack of proactive maintenance and repair in regards to the common areas. Nonetheless, if you pay your rent on time, follow the terms of your lease, and communicate with some patience, you’ll have a stress-free experience.

If you’re looking at this property group, run the other way and never look back. The units and amenities are “updated”, but unless you like spiders, centipedes, security issues, and active leaks that never get repaired, I’d suggest to avoid. We had an ongoing leak that started small, was never addressed despite 6 separate maintenance requests over the course of 8 months, and eventually turned into water POURING down from the ceiling and the walls by the time we moved out.I am not sure why management consistently reacts to things as if it is a significant inconvenience to them to help their tenants. If you don’t like your job and use that as ammunition to be terrible to the people that are just trying to comfortably exist in their own home, seek employment elsewhere.
Do not rent from Silver Property Group! We had persistent water damage which Silver Property was aware of before renting the apartment to us and they still chose to put it on the market rather than taking the time to ensure the apartment was watertight. The result was an entire year of leaks coming from multiple areas in the apartment, including the window directly next to one of our beds. The property manager Evan (when he could actually be bothered to respond to our emails), listed excuse after excuse for why the ownership of the building couldnt address the leaks. Only after we completed an independent mold test which came back positive for black mold did they come in and replace the drywall.In general, Silver Property Group refused to address any of the multiple maintenance issues we reported over the year we lived in the apartment. Almost all of our maintenance requests on the online portal are still open because no one ever came to fix them. Like others have said, the apartments appear nice when you view them, but within a month of moving in it becomes clear that the apartments are maintained poorly and in general much cheaper than they first appear.
I have been a tenant for one of their apartments for just about a month now and I am very impressed by the response I have received for anything and I mean anything I needed fixed in the apartment and even replaced the washers and dryers that were old. My property manager I deal with his Miron. I email him and he either returns my email quickly or calls me.The technician Bajram has been so helpful and works really hard fixing anything I need. He spent a long day Monday unclogging my tub and fixing a bathroom sink. Worked later then one would so I would have a working sink that evening. . He is professional and a very nice man. Coming from an apartment where my landlord did the bare minimal, I am very impressed with the response. Thank you Silver Properties and thank you to Miron and Bajram for everything. You guys rock!
My radiator broke and leaked all over my bathroom floor. The repairman came when I was not in the apartment and I was not notified they would be there at all on that day. When I got home later that night my door was wide open. Unless you like your apartment doors left wide open by unannounced repair men stay away from properties managed by this company.
We have been extremely satisfied with Silver Property group so far. This is our second unit with them (had to upgrade to a two bedroom). They made the leasing process simple and painless.Paying rent and managing maintenance requests all online is quick and simple.The apartment conditions have been clean and the fixtures are new and of good quality.Any maintenance request has been completed promptly and successfully.I would happily recommend Silver Property group to a friend.
I’m a newer tenant but Silver has treated me so well compared to past management companies. I felt a warm welcome right away and our property manager is so great. He really takes care of things right away. Key pickup was very fast and the unit was in good condition and smelled like fresh paint!
We rented from Silver Property Group for 3 years, We really enjoyed our time in the apartment and Miron was always prompt with service requests or questions we had. My only complaints was the walls and paint used. The walls easily smudged or chipped without barely touching them. I would suggest they just use a better paint if they want the walls to last longer.

We just moved to Chicago from New Orleans and Silver Property has helped make the transition a smooth one. We had no difficulty getting into our place the first night despite arriving after hours. The portal is easy to use and they responded to our first maintenance request within 24 hours even though it was a holiday week.
I rented from a Silver property for three years and they are horrible at communicating. I had several minor maintenance requests outright ignored and the requests that received a response often required me to badger them to actually send someone to fix it. They never once gave me accurate 24hr warning before entering my apartment. Sometimes I would be told that a maintenance person would contact me, a week would pass and I would hear nothing and I would contact them again to see what was up and all of a sudden it would be, Okay theyre coming over right now. A couple times someone would show up and I would receive an email 20 minutes later warning me that they were coming. I had multiple encounters where a conversation ended with a Silver employee saying, Ill be by this afternoon and then never showed up. The buildings buzzer system was broke for the last 6+ months that I lived there because the person who was sent to fix it fiddled around for about 10 minutes, said, This seems fine. and left. It was fine for about 18 hours until it stopped functioning again and I just gave up.
Silver Property Group has been great to work with in all aspects. Getting approved, signing the lease, getting the keys, and moving in was all a fast and easy process. We have been here for a month and absolutely love our apartment. Any of our questions or needs have been answered or taken care of fast. I highly recommend working with this group!
Ive only been with Silver for about a week now, but so far Ive been very pleased with their service. The application and key pick-up was extremely easy, and they were great about communicating with me and my roommates about everything we needed to do. The only complaint I have thus far is that theres been a lot of miscommunication about the unit number for our place - Silver lists it as one thing, and the USPS and all utility companies have it recorded as something else. The process of changing my address was therefore rather challenging, and I think Silver could have done more to 1) prevent it from happening in the first place and 2) communicate better about it as I tried to get it resolved. Otherwise, the apartment is great, the small issues we had with a couple things in the apartment were quickly addressed.
Very friendly and easy to work with thus far. Keys were ready on time, name was put on the mailbox prior to moving in, and apartment was clean. Management responds quickly to emails and is accommodating. Very pleasant rental company to work with

Really nice staff. They resolve any issues you may have with your unit quickly and check in to make sure you are satisfied. Everything from rent to maintenance is digital and very convenient. The spaces are nice and well kept.
The moving process of trying to schedule apartment showings when youre not in the same town can be difficult, but Silver Property Group was up for the challenge! I was so relieved they could fit a showing in that worked for my schedule and from there the process of signing was all done electronically! If you have a question their response rate is very quick (within a day) and personal. Overall I would say I definitely feel cared for by Silver Property Group.
Silver Property Group was great as our property manager. They responded quickly to any issues we had with equipment or other property issues. They even aloud us to move in a couple days early, which really helped since it helped me to not have to take work off. Free WiFi was a great offering as well. Even the basic package was enough for two people to stream videos on. Overall, I very much enjoyed my time with Silver Property Group and would rent with them again.
I’m currently in my 3rd Silver apartment and I’ve always been very happy with this service! Lease transfers have always been a breeze and fees were kept to a minimum. Property managers have always been very responsive with questions and maintenance requests were completed in a timely fashion. Finally, the buildings are always beautifully rehabbed and equipped with nice and well functioning appliances and amenities!

We moved into a 2 bedroom apartment in Albany Park in September, and weve loved it. The property is lovely, and the landlords have been responsive to our requests for maintenance and our questions about billing.

We had had problems with our old house and landlord and we were thrilled to find how quickly things were processed in terms of our application and move in. Overall Silver Property Group has been great to work with. My boyfriend and I had a few questions prior to move in that were answered promptly, and a week in we’ve requested some maintenance in the apartment and Miron has been very quick to respond. I knocked off one star because the person who initially toured us, Luis, gave us some misleading information regarding our ability to use some storage located in the building. He was otherwise helpful and the apartment itself is great, but it definitely caused us some stress upon move in.

I needed to find a place quick and folks at Silver were great! Chris showed me several places in a Friday evening. After finding one I liked, he kept in contact with me until I picked up my keys. They use quality appliances and the buildings are very clean! The approval was very fast. I applied on a Saturday and was approved the following Monday. Everyone I’ve interacted with thus far have been great. I definitely recommend Silver to anyone who needs a place to live!
Silver has been fantastic throughout the entire process! First meeting with one of their agents, Matt, was both helpful and personable- felt like he really cared about our needs. 1.5 year lease is about to end for us and Silver Property Group was great. Any issue we had (minimal) was dealt with in a timely fashion. Garbage being left out on decks was taken care of in a professional manner by the SPG. I appreciate my time with them and would rent again in the future if the opportunity occurred.
We love our apartment! Our leasing agent worked with us to find a unit in the building we loved with the right lease start date for us. Their online tenant portal made applying for the apartment and signing the lease/making payments easy. Miron has been quick to respond with a few minor issues as we got moved in (replacing blinds, getting a mail key). Everyone we have dealt with so far has been just great.
A company I would reccomend to someone looking to rent in Chicago. Good, professional services and easy to reach at the office. We did have some issues with the dishwasher and the tenant portal, but they were resolved.

I recently moved into one of Silvers buildings. Starting from our initial search, communication has always been open and timely (working with Evan has been great). We needed to request maintenance shortly after moving in and it was taken care of the same day. We saw a few of their properties during our apartment search and all seemed to be well kept/maintained. Id highly recommend both Evan and Silver.
This was our second year resigning the lease with Silver Properties and it will be our last. Never really had any major complaints until yesterday when they sent a maintenance technician into our unit to check for leaks around our toilet as their water bill was too high and that constitutes an emergency apparently. I had been at work all day and thought they had already completed the inspection by the time I got home but at 7:30pm there was a knock on the front door from the technician. A little late for maintenance to be in my apartment and I was already in my pajamas but whatever I was accommodating and allowed him to enter. Within 5 seconds of him being in the bathroom there was a huge crash. We have an above toilet storage cabinet and somehow the technician had knocked the entire thing over spilled its contents all over the floor. Glass was shattered, our toothbrushes and toiletries were strewn about. The technician starts quickly picking things up and shoving them back into the cabinet hastily and with little regard and no apology in fact he blamed ME for having the audacity to have a storage cabinet above the toilet. Unfortunately I had little choice in the matter as the bathroom is so small with no other space besides under the sink as storage that was the only solution we could come up with. The technician finally removes the toilet tank cover and looks inside, no leaks as I was well aware of and he leaves in a rush leaving me to sweep up his huge mess of shattered glass all over my bathroom and with half my storage cabinet on the floor. It gets worse. I took some pictures of the damage and emailed them to the property manager, Miron Dalipi, asking for compensation for the completely broken cabinet. After an entire business day with no reply I email again. He calls me and says he will credit our account $100 for the cabinet but in retaliation he is going to charge us a pet fee of $125 since he’s being “nice”. Ah but we asked TWO YEARS AGO if we can have a small pet that lives in a cage and he said sure, nothing about a pet fee. After all pet fee only applies to cats and we do not own a cat. He just kept saying read your lease read your lease so I hung up and read the lease which of course has nothing in it about pet fees. We have been model tenants for almost three years now and this is how they turn on us, it’s unfortunate and unprofessional.
Excellent service. Their agents were super helpful throughout the process of finding the right apartment for us. One agent even went as far as to drive us between locations when we had back-to-back tours scheduled. Even now that were living in our apartment, Silver Property Groups employees have continued to be extremely accommodating and helpful.

I currently live in a Silver Property apartment and I honestly dont have enough positive things to say. Maintenence requests are usually always completed within 2 business days (once within 20 minutes of submitting my Maintenence request) and the whole team- from landlord to leasing manager have been super communicative from the very beginning. They take pride in their properties, and it shows! Really nice appliances, as well as courtyard Maintenence throughout the year. I’d love to see a power-washing done to the front of our building for a bit of a face lift, so fingers crossed for a spring project? :) Honestly love living here, and for the reasons listed above I don’t see myself moving anytime soon.
Moving from New York to Chicago is a tall order, but dealing with Silver Property Group has been a treat. I appreciate the responsiveness that everyone at Silver has shown us. When we were ready to get a lease signed, everything was handled efficiently (all electronic docs -- YES!) and professionally.Before we left NY we had everything squared away: When & where to pick up keys, even which parking spot was ours. It was one of the easier parts of the move.Upon move-in, the unit was CLEAN, and ready for us. We had a couple very minor maintenance issues the first week, but they were handled superfast by our property manager.Overall, I feel like Silver tries to make people feel at home, which is not something you always get from a property management company.

Anytime we had an issue and there were not many, Evan and his team were on it. His responsiveness blew us away. Anything he said we could count on and his team always showed up, addressed our concerns, and educated us on the process or problem in an empowering way. Ultimately, we felt comfortable talking to and asking for help from Evan and his team. This is not the case in most leasing experiences. We are so grateful to him and his team for helping our family transition from a dream rental experience into our first family dream home. I love the apartment @ north shore ave. Nice and clean. The management was so nice they allow me starting my move-in couple days before the startind lease date. However, I put just 4 stars because the main entrance and the stairs look like neglected and need some scheduled cleaning.
From the Agent to the key pickup, everyone was very nice and kind. Their services are exceptionally good and on time. Im happy I moved into this lovely apartment with such a satisfying service.

I lived under one of their roofs for 3 years.The Pros:- They live in 2019 and you can do most things like paying rent and submitting maintenance requests through their website. This is super convenient.- I always had positive interactions with staff and maintenance folk. Management was generally responsive to requests.The Cons:- The property wasnt fancy and most repairs were half-hazard ( after a leak in my ceiling the damage was covered up with an awkward sheet of plastic about a half inch thick )
If youre a voucher holder, dont waste your time. They will discriminate against you. They took my friends application fee and never ran her credit. They were suppose to respond to her within 48 hours. After a week, we gave them a call, the woman she spoke with, said she never even ran her credit (although thats what they were paid to do.) Save yourself the time. The agent we worked with Jay is real shady too....he knows they will discriminate. I asked him if her being a voucher holder would be an issue, his response was Thats up to them....I just show the units.
My fiance and I stayed in one if the apartments with silver property group for 3-4 years. In that time weve never had any issues. If anythings had come up it was resolved right away. The space was always more than enough and the asking renting price was very reasonable. The internet included was a huge plus with our stay. I have recommended people and will continue to do so in the future.

Don’t ever rent with SilverProperty Group. Their apartments are very very small as they are converting single bedroom apartment into double bedroom apartment and charging soo much money. They don’t even maintain their apartment good. If you need to get any maintenance done nobody will be available to answer your call. NEVER RENT with these people you will regret renting with them . One of the worst property manager I had to deal with while I was renting with them .
After trying with other Realty groups and dealing with the online websites we thought it was going to be a pain to find a new apartment however when we went to Silver Property we ended up finding an apartment that we liked on the day of our first tour. Tim was great to work with and didnt try to up-sell anything we didnt want.

THEY THEN PROCEEDED TO SEND US THE LEASE AND NOT EVEN HOURS AFTER SEEING THE APARTMENT THIS GUY JASON GOLD REQUESTED WE SIGN THE LEASE AND PAY THE MONEY ASAP. AFTER TELLING US TO TAKE OUR TIME. WE DECIDED IT BEING OUR FIRST APARTMENT IN THE CITY TO NOT MOVE FORWARD AS WE DECIDED IT WAS OUT OF OUR BUDGET. HE THEN STATED IF WE WOULD LIKE OUR $60 APPLICATION FEE BACK. WE RESPONDED AND STATED WE WOULD. AND HE PROCEEDED TO RESPOND WITH THIS “ What a quick reply! However due to your lack of communication and games you have been playing, we have decided not to return those fees... if you had been more upfront with the situation instead of ghosting ang playing games we would have gladly done so.“.We are so so so glad we decided not proceed with this management company.
