My wife and I moved to Chicago last year and did a very comprehensive research around few neighborhoods. Probably toured 30+ apartments until we found the Bernardin and we instantly knew we were going to live here. The location is very unique, 0.1 miles from Chicago station, just next to Magnificent Mile, 5-10 minutes walking distance from Gold Coast, the beach, Trader Jose’s and Whole Food. The building itself has great amenities like the Sky Club, Business Center, probably one of the biggest pools in this neighborhood, and last but not the least 24/7 free coffee at lobby. The management and staff are professional, friendly and flexible to address your requests. Additionally, the managing company, RMK is very generous in holding social events and throwing parties for several different occasions every year. Overall, I highly recommend this building.

The location is perfect. just few minutes walk to the Cathedral, Mag Mile, restaurants, parks and tourist spots. The red line Chicago station is just few steps away. The staff (Chris and Andre) are really helpful and friendly. They have a coffee machine with really nice selection of blends near the reception. The waiting area is always organized and the whole place is just so clean and smells good. The residents are friendly as well.

3.5 year resident. This is the best building and the best value in River North/Gold Coast. The new management company has been great, in my opinion. They are responsive and enforcing rules. Of the few maintenance requests Ive submitted (dishwasher leaked once, washer/dryer making loud noise another time), maintenance always responds and solves the problem within 24 hours. The concierge attendants are all friendly and reliable. The great amenities, great location and modern/clean building have been a great place to live for the past few years.

Fantastic building, amazing staff, perfect location. Love it! We rented the 1 bedroom + den to have a city get-away apartment. We couldnt be happier with the experience. Its a well-run bldg with excellent amenities. Mix of residents from younger to older, great balance. Pool area is nice with outdoor kitchens. Only drawback is once you cook your outdoor dinner there are no tables to eat it at. Not a big problem...but thought Id mention it. Highly recommend and we will do it again

Great location! Close to any kind of restruant you can think and not a bad walk to the Magnificent Mile. The staff was always ready to help with a smile no matter what I needed!! If I come back to Chicago this is where Ill stay!

Disgusting, rude and careless. The gentleman I asked for assistance was completely unwilling to help with my issue and to make matters worse he was rude, because its not their problem, the other company manages it. This is what happens when management changes. Each company involved will point a finger at the other.

Great location and gorgeous building! Definitely love the pool!
