I have researched and contacted a HANDFUL of apartments, and this one seemed reasonably priced, in a good location, and also didnt have many negative reviews, so I decided to inquire. I received a response right away with the rooms they had available. I toured an apartment before applying and was able to choose the exact apartment Id like to move into. I explained that I wanted an apartment with good lighting, and they took that into consideration. I was all set up to move in, however a good friend of mine offered me a home at a much lesser rate, so I will not be renting here at this time. :-( Tony and Lynda were both very understanding and sad to see me go. Im honestly a little sad because I was so excited to live here & in this area! Its quiet, a hop skip from the mall, and not sketchy, however they did warn me to never keep valued items in my car as car robbers do come every now and then.About the apartment itself, I like the layout. Its not super spacious or fancy, but its spacious enough and well kept. If I decide to rent any where surrounding the Charlotte area, it would be this place!

The office staff is exceptional! I’d give 5 stars just for the great customer service. So far everything looks nice, I love my new home !

My experience went well considering the maintenance man is always pleasant and personable. He always does what is asked in a timely fashion. My frustration is on the corporate end. I moved in almost 3 years ago and since then it has changed management.Everything in my apartment is antiquated and in need of replacement but because Im not new I do not receive replacements. I receive temporary band-aid repairs. Loyalty doesnt account for much. I asked about getting my carpet removed because it was heavily stained and smelled of cigarette smoke (things from the previous renters). I was told that that is not an option as carpets are no longer replaced, but are being switched with hardwood when a resident moves out. I could, however, move into a renovated apartment but of course my rent would double.Just truly disheartening and frustrating.

This is a great place to live. Everyone is friendly, the place is clean and convenient to shopping. Tony is a great help in the office and the maintenance people are terrific.

Tammy in the rent office is so awesome! Every time I go into the office she is more than happy to assist me with any concern. She is very professional, while being personable and caring. I always bring my 11-month-old son into the office and she treats us both with such kindness. Tim and the other maintenance guy (I believe his name is Raul) are also great and very attentive! The team is one of the main reasons we like living here.

Please note this review is based on touring and application process but because I found a complex closer to work and didnt wind up renting here. I really appreciated how the office staff went above and beyond giving me the tour, following up etc, returning calls and texts quickly etc. I found the fees and pricing on par with elsewhere and the staff was patient in going into all the details. The 3rd floor apartments with vaulted ceilings are nice and light, clean and smartly laid out for the space. Patios are small but expected for the price point and the storage closet is a nice addition. I was impressed with the friendly residents I met and the fact that I saw children playing outside spoke to the overall safety of the location. Residents spoke highly of nearby schools as well.

I enjoy living here, its a lot closer to my children school and it is closer to all the retail shops that I shop at. It is closer to the highways. I enjoy the peace that I get at night time.

Nice place. Area is perfect. Visitor parking is the worst. Only one spot by one building in the back. Or park on the street. Every building should have designated visitor parking. Dont like all the fees added to rental bill. Was not expecting that. So as much as I hate it. Will be leaving when lease up.

I’ve been here since 9/1/12. I absolutely love the location. I’ve never rented a day in my life. I lived with my parents until I purchased my own home. I got married and relocated to NC. I was nervous about becoming a renter because of some of the horrible stories I have heard, but Braemar took the fear out and made me feel comfortable. I plan to stay with Braemar until we purchase a home here in NC. Purchasing a home was not in the plans when relocating here but the rent has increased to over $200 more to where it makes sense to pay a mortgage on a home for the same amount or less than what I’m paying for a 3 bedroom apartment. To move saddens me because I considered Braemar as home.On the other hand. I do agree with some of the previous comments. The screening of some of the tenants are questionable. The difference between 2012 to today is so different. The breaking in of cars has increased and trashed on the ground was horrible at one time. I don’t think it’s fair to rate Braemar on the break ins or the trash because some people in our community fell to report things out of fear or choose to avoid the issues entirely. If you see something say something. I now see maintenance driving around several times a day picking up trash and maintaining the outdoor areas,.I can honestly say, whatever issues I have had at Braemar were not just addressed but addressed in a timely matter. First time as a renter wasn’t that bad after all. Thanks Braemar 😊

I love this community! i-485 and i-77 is only 2 min from here, I can be at my job in less than 15 min, Northlake Mall is just a few minutes from here too. This property is so convenient to everything. Just perfect! The maintenance staff is very fast to do any work orders that we have which is not many, the office staff is always very pleasant to talk to and very friendly.

We had fun at the Cupcakes and Canvas Event! The cupcakes were delicious and we enjoyed spending time together as a family painting our pictures and getting to know our community neighbors. I hope we have another C & C event soon! 😊

Office staff is very helpful, from the aplication process to my moving day. Complex itself is okay, could do a better job with the up keep with the land scaping to clean up with the trash and cigarettes butts in the garden beds, and walk says. I wish there were more amanties example: dog park, a fitteness center with more then just a treadmill and elliptical, activities for the residents to bring the community together, and security patrol to keep those who should not be around the complex. The apartment it self is beautiful large rooms, and lots of storage.. some things can be updated as well. There is a little rust in my guess tub, bathroom sink and kitchen sink . This complex is okay,the maintenance man is awesome, and the location the perfect you are close to everything.

This place is dirty outside. I made sure the inside was clean before I signed the lease agreement. If I did seen dirty gloves and trash on the stairways like now. I would never have signed the lease agreement. Garbage always on the steps.

Only giving it one star so I can leave this review. Avoid this apartment if you can. Rent is extremely high for the little rooms they have. They have hidden fees every month and they jack your rent up with no notice. No way they should be this expensive for these poorly kept small apartment homes. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE you can be in a house for the price they charge and after this lease is up im gone. You have to pay for valet even though they barely come and the trash dumpster is right across the parking lot. Im gonna contact someone about this property because nobody in the office knows how to do their job

The office lady (white, short, with reddish short hair and glasses, has a raspy voice) was really rude to me telling me i had to leave the pool or she would call the police for no reason. my sister, her boyfriend and her girl bestfriend all live here and names are on the least and were told they can have four guests! i come here every weekend to go to the pool and after we were told one of them had to be down there with us for the first time, i called my sister’s fiancé to come down and she made it seem like we were lying about the situation or actually trespassing. she had a strong attitude from the first time speaking to me and my friend and i believe she was being a bit racists because we didn’t do anything wrong so i decided to leave and as we were standing in the parking lot she told us she would call the police even though we weren’t in the pool or inside the gates.

Bad place I 1st came. It was a mess with the dirty carpet, dog hair and things broken far as fixtures. The rent is overpriced for what amenities they have to offer.I would not live here period!

Oh my god I’ve never lived in such great environment, I’ve lived here for 2 years and not once have I been disappointed, if for whatever reason I need maintenance they are here the second you let them know what’s wrong! The office people are soo nice, and this whole apartment complex is quiet and clean, couldn’t be happier !!

@ Evelia Graham I had the same issue with that Apt.complex and I moved out just ridiculous​ and Ive never lived at an complex paying that much in rent and it just looks rough. I observed the people some work and some dont. Do anybody know whether they accept some type of assistance or ever have over there?

Car towed visiting mother. No warning what so ever! Got there Friday, car was towed Saturday.

Can anybody tell me which towing company they use? They tow cars and give no warnings. Can anybody give me a for sure answer?

ONE STAR BECAUSE I CANT GIVE A ZERO.Overly priced apartments, trashy, drug infested, accepts section 8 vouchers, and has hidden fees. Parking is ridiculous and car and home break-ins are frequent. Gym and pool are a joke and so is the entire office staff and maintenance. The “5” star reviews are either bogus or the people that gave them for this raggedy apartment complex are delusional!

This place is the worst.first of all they charge you one price for rent and then charge u 23$ a momth for this valet trash garbage.even if u dont want it.on top of that when I did ask for a trash can,it took them about two months to bring it.the stove has not been working properly since I moved here.everytime the maintenance man comes to fix it,it works for two days and then stops working again.theres always mold all around the sliding doors,and Im here with my grandchildren.i feel it is hazardous to their health,and will be leaving as soon as my lease is up.you sign the lease for one price,and then every month the rent has added fees.my car was broken into on more than one occasion,and my grandkidskids iPads stolen.i Am most definitely not interested in renewing this lease.they make u feel like youre getting an apartment for a good deal,but with the fees they add every month you can add just a few dollars more and live in another complex in the area thats much nicer.the kids play area is a joke!

I was told I can move In Saturday and that they had the room ready and everything and last minute gonna say they cant approve my application. So why waste 150 on the fees and waste my time getting a storage car and stuff. Ridiculous.

Staff is really nonchalant, asked them about viewing properties they were not eager or friendly.Asked them about amenities, pool gym and grill (said to me in that manner). Didnt give any real details. Wanted 1200+ for 2 bedroom however you cannot have company/visitors or they will get towed. Now the Plus Side is.......They Do Have Visitors Parking. HOWEVER, It is Only a TOTAL of 14 Parking Spots....Nice Huh?. Had I not asked any information he wouldnt have given it to me.Found out about the Predatory Towing, By doing slight research by people that live on the property.GOOD NEWS: If You Live Alone and Dont Socialize or Never Need The Slightest of Company.This Complex if For YOU......-Has a Nice Layout-GreatLocation & EasyAccess,DEFINITELYNeeds Better Management!
