My name is Laquisha Baptist! My husband Tony really Adore the new property manager Mrs Danielle!! We finally have a property manager that cares about our needs. The property managers before didnt think twice about what happens to us. Wouldnt even allow us as residents to make adjustments to our own apartments. However Danielle is the complete opposite. I wish other residents would just start learning how to comply, and Danielle a chance. For the most part Mrs Danielle is coming in blind to someone else mess. All property managers are not faulted for someone else wrong doing. I also love the new staff that in the front office! Very respectful, and professional. Sufficiency at its Best! This can be a great apartment community with Danielle here.

Do not rent here! Yes the prices are reasonable but believe me this is no place that you would want to live. The customer service here is the worst I have ever encountered in life. The manager Danielle is little to no help. There are an abundance of cockroaches, the flooring is weak, the doors are not secure. It’ll take one little kick for an intruder and they’re in. I have reached out to corporate and management, they will not respond. Even wrote the BBB and not to my surprise, no response. If you want to rent from a slumlord then this will be perfect for you. I’ve only been here for 3 weeks and maintenance STILL has not fixed anything in my unit. Danielle the property manager had the nerve to tell me not to come back to the office, yet she will not respond to emails or answer the phone. I have to literally hunt this lady down to get a response. Please save yourself the headache and don’t come here. I am going to have to end up taking them to court because it is the definition of the slums!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!!! You will regret it

The reviews are right, dont even waste your time applying. Put in my application online, took my money but not my application (technical error, understandable) took a week to get a response about how to move forward, came in and did a paper application and its been nearly a month with absolutely no reply. Glad I found something else quickly, if its this hard to have proper communication just applying I cant imagine what the residents must go thru. Only reason I gave 2 stars is for pricing and the gym.

Don’t bother moving here. Don’t let the positive reviews fool you, they offer incentives to do them. The apartments have a major roach issue that you will have to fight every day if you make the mistake of living here. I have seen rats in the bushes of my building and at the dumpster. The dumpster is absolutely disgusting and has no sort of maintenance done to it. There is almost always piles of trash in front of it that you have to walk through. The potholes are out of control. Their app that is supposed to be used to pay rent and submit maintenance requests is a joke. Every month I paid via the app I ended screwed over and charged a late fee. Maintenance does not address issues beyond a bandaid. My floors are sinking in multiple places and no one bats an eye at. Do yourself a favor and stress over scraping together a few extra dollars to live somewhere decent instead of putting yourself through this ratchet mess.

DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY TRYING TO RENT HERE!!! I was sent to Collection 2 months after I moved because “I didn’t notified them I was moving the day my contract ended wish was Feb, 22”. WHICH I DID BACK IN DECEMBER... thank God I’ve proves of the email I sent back then, if not they would off mess up my credit score. They only PROFESSIONAL person in that office is Travis, everybody else is there for the check.

They Keep deleting my comment trying to HIDE the SCAM. They keep saying they didn’t get there payment n when I produce the PROOF that they did and my Lawyer they say it was a system failure. I warned if I had anymore issues out of them since it’s been 5/6 years since I stayed over there I was filing a Lawsuit. Well Travis is the management and is Rude that’s exactly what we’re doing That TRAVIS guy hangs up ignores calls and talks nasty I got him recorded too for court.

These apartments will take your money and never follow up! I have submitted a complaint with the BBB to their parent company in NY.We submitted our application with all requested documents and paid the fees (including administrative fee) on Saturday July 10th and they have never returned our phone calls, voicemails or emails. We struggled to even get ahold of someone in the office and when we did they promised the leasing manager would follow up by the end of the day, but no call was received. Do not waste your time or money. There are plenty of other apartments communities in the same area to consider.

Please dont move Here, my above neighbor flooding my apartment. On Monday 11/23/2020 I received a message stating there was a leak in my apartment. It was far from a leak, as I entered the apt I could see the water covering the hallway floor, Since then, I have been living with an exposed ceiling in my laundry room due to the ceiling being drenched in water and falling through, my bathroom floor also flooded, as well as my living room floor area soaked in water ruining my rug which has now mildo. There are brown water stains in my living room ceiling which appear as it will probably fall in soon. The brown water stains continue to appear throughout the apartment. Now 11/26/2020 there is an unbearable smell in my apartment. I was told maintenance would be coming on 11/25/2020 at 9:00am. However, no one showed. Therefore, I contacted them on the emergency line to see if someone was coming in to fix anything. They came and and patched the ceiling in the laundry room but did not fix the shelf that was broken from the ceiling falling previously.I am very upset and disappointed at how I am being treated. The situation has not been handled and it seems as no one is concerned about the living conditions in my apartment, I have contacted the property manager thru emails, no response, I just want out of my lease.UPDATE: clearly from their response, just proved as to why you shouldnt move here as i previously stated.

I left my keys out of town and tried to get assistance getting into my apartment and no one was able to help (maintenance or security). I know this is not the first time someone has not been able to get into their apartment.. there should be some system set up for these situations. Extremely unprofessional.I will say, the next day Trevor in the office went out of his way to correct things. I’m grateful for his assistance! His customer service is always excellent. Dawn also.

This place is horrendous, save yourself and don’t rent here. I had to relocate from 4 hours away, the day I was supposed to move in they didn’t even have the apartment they said I was going to get. The first day my water heater leaked in the downstairs neighbors. It took weeks to get my mail box key and they made the wrong key the first time after constantly reminding them I needed a key. I was overcharged for rent the entire time, I was told they owed me $434 and it’s been 2+ years and still have no received my refund. I have called them and emailed them endlessly. All the staff told me different things and the communication was terrible. I could go on and on about all the issues I had with them. The staff will be really nice to your face but they’re sneaky and terrible.

It was the roaches for me. I didn’t even live there for a month because I couldn’t sleep. This was in 2019. I couldn’t sleep because roaches were waking me up. Some were big some were small. It was just so many I couldn’t. They said they did pest control. It was trash allllll outside. Not just outside the door but in the grass 😩 outside of the trash can and everything. Roaches, rats and crime.. not for the faint of heart. Plus the manager in the leasing office has a real attitude problem! It doesn’t matter if you’re a model tenant, quiet and on time with monthly rent, as I was, if she doesn’t like you, you know it. I’ll spare you the details, but just be forewarned - this place is the pits...So glad to be out of there!! If I could give zero stars, I would.

I have been dealing with the same issue as the person below me for a whole month I been trying to get in contact with the manager from Green rock estates regarding my accounts balance that I already paid I spoke to Danielle regarding my account they told me it had already been update but once again I was getting sent emails and text regarding my account then they started to add late fees to a payment that was already made at this point I am in risk on my lease being defaulted for something that is not my problem I just want to get my issues fixed or I will seek legal action- Evelyn Munoz apt.205

I have been here for a few weeks and want to comment how attentive, patient and kind the entire staff is. I havent lived in an apartment for many many years and do realize it is a different type of lifestyle. Dawn has been so patient with me, answering my questions and concerns while guiding me thru the move in process. She gets 5 stars for her kindness & patience! The maintenance men have been wonderful. Again, realizing they have a lot to deal with, I feel they truly care about the residents and taking care of any issues. The apartments themselves are very nice with some upgraded features. Overall, I think this is a friendly, organized community with a wonderful location!

The ladies here in the office are amazing! They are so kind and considerate! I love Ms.Dawn, Ms. Candra and Ms.Seka!, they are so helpful! They are diligent with work orders and are always courteous and professional! They take care of their tenants and go above and beyond when you need anything and I appreciate that. I came to the apartments for a tour with my mom and they always ask me about her when I come into the office and it’s little things like that that make living here just a bit more special. The grounds are worked daily to remove trash or things left behind by tenants and the community is well taken care of. Kindness and respect goes a long way and I appreciate these women for the work that they do. 5 out of 5 I would recommend!

I’m relocating to Charlotte and inquired about a unit at this complex. I got a text from I’m guessing a leasing agent. I asked them some questions about the complex and never got a response back. Definitely, won’t be renting here. And if you are relocating fromanother area don’t bother checking this place out you won’t get a response.

Just called this establishment. A very rude gentleman answered the phone. He was short and impatient with me and this has completely deterred me from spending my money with this apartment complex! I hope that the company pays more attention to the people they let answer the phone because this tell you everything you need to know about an apartment. Only reason why I’m giving a bad review is because they never ever answer their phones or call back when I leave a voicemail. I have at least left three voice messages. We just paid $117 of application fees. I know it might now be much for many people, but that money could of went to somewhere else that has better customer service. I know we have good credit with the last two apartments and always paid our rent on time. They need to at least let me know that we are approved or not.. :(

Ive called and called, I left voice mails saying I wanted to sign a lease but that I had some questions, I left my name and number and called back 2x more during the week. Ive never seen an apt complex so determined not to sell me a lease. My 1 star rating is based solely off of not being able to get in touch with anyone, but; Ive also noticed that all of the good reviews for these apartments are about the staff... staff staff staff, and all the bad reviews are about the condition of the apartments. I havent actually been here, so this is just an opinion, but it would seem that the staff here are great, but everything else is garbage, particularly living conditions. Too bad I couldnt have gotten in touch with someone to schedule a tour, could have seen it for myself. Bottom line off the reviews, if you cant get in touch with anyone or get to a position where you can see the place in person, do not apply online, it seems like a vast amt of ppl have been done over this way.

I have lived here since March, and I’m ready to move out. Once your money is given, help and complaints are ignored, also the place is not safe, I had to buy a security system, contacted the apartment security, and the police since I moving here in March. I should have known things would not go well when it took 4 weeks if not more to get my mail box key! Don’t be fooled by the 3 and 4 stars, the residents are given incentives to write positive reviews. Safe yourself the time, money and aggravation. The only positive thing I can is about the pond, and ducks.

The community and amenity spaces are clean and beautiful. I work uptown and decided to move to an apartment closer to my job to minimize my commute. The touring experience and the staff made the decision to go somewhere else very difficult.

Just walked in with questions regarding availability, and property information the young man that was working was unprofessional, arrogant and rude. After 5 mins of asking questions I handed him back the brochure and property information and walked out. They got me in very fast and was kind but I don’t have heat or hot water. I been calling everyday since I moved in about my issues and nothing has been done. I moved in on 1/17 and today is 1/26 still no heat or hot water. Please reconsider this property. Updated today is 2/5/2020 still no heat. They don’t call to update you or let you know what’s going on, but will text you to let you know rent is due. This is the worst experience I have ever had.

Very disappointed. We moved into a one bed room apartment in December and we have had nothing but a terrible experience. This is my first apartment and I am furious. I can’t even live comfortably in my apartment and just pay rent like a normal person would want to. No I have to constantly go up to the office EVERY SINGLE MONTH TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SAME THINGS!!! But yet still have to pay rent EVERY SINGLE MONTH! The leasing office doesn’t do their job and neither does maintenance! We have had TWO leaks in the past 3 weeks! People around us have bugs that travel over to our place and when we complain about it they come spray SUGAR WATER!!! That doesn’t solve the problem! I would not recommend this place to ANYONE! Not even saying everything I want to say because lord knows!!!!

The experience with Green Rock has been negative since day 1. They are very eager and nice to get you to apply. But after so, professionalism goes out the window. I applied for an apartment mid January. Was approved sent a welcome letter indicating address and financials needed for move in. I took the steps to prepare for move in. Starting electric, paid renters insurance, changed mailing address, paid moving company, scheduled deliveries arranged time off work ect. My move was 2/14. Today 15 minutes before closing I was emailed that my apartment was no longer available. Current tenant decided not to move out. I’m beside myself that an apartment complex would wait & not know this important information prior to assigning apartment to someone else. From the start I should of knew better. When I was asking direct questions about my unit I was not getting direct answers. Even at application I couldn’t get detailed answers about anything. I was told I would know once my application was approved. It seemed very wishy washy and nothing was made clear. But today to email & not call to provide important information is by far the most unprofessional thing iv ever seen, yes I was offered to visit a sister company but there rent is $200+ more a month. I did respond to email asking when next available was going to be however, after thinking about the unprofessional encounters I’d rather just go elsewhere. I’m unsure what apartment complex rents units that are not confirmed available. That’s a huge problem in organizational skills & I can only imagine the skill level that would be involved in dealing with such a disorganized place for an entire 12 month lease. By far this place lacks general office skills that include scheduling, organization and customer service. I’d be scared to give them any money it would probably get lost in the shuffle of disorganized staff. I’d think the 1st step in apartment leasing is knowing exactly what units are available or not and it should be known and communicated well before an applicant applies & spends money. I’m pretty sure they are banking tons of application fees but not able to produce apartments. That should be against the law to operate business that way. Which I’m sure it is if I took the time to research or have it investigated how many times this actually happens & how much money people loose on application fees.

This place is terrible from management changing, to work orders never being fulfilled, people complain so much because a lack of care from management, if management stayed in these apartments they would complain to. My sister who is a lawyer wants me to set up a case against these apartments because of living conditions, air quality (hazardous mold), water quality, the lack of maintenance (or time it takes for maintenance to come, the trash that overfills. The better business bureau and the news is looking the most promising as of right now, patience is thin.

Recently moving back to the NC area I just happen to be applying for apartments and passed by this estate. The landscaping caught my attention 😍. After stopping by and applying. The process took less than a week for me to a response and get my keys.Which was right one time for me relocating with my job. My daughter actually loves going with Mommy to work out now because of the day area in fitness center. I love how she stays entertained upstairs while I am working out. Since seeing the doggy park we may be getting a puppy soon. Overall my experience has been great and I definitely highly recommend applying here. We definitely will be here awhile

It’s been a month since I applied and still did not receive my admin fee back they denied me I’m glad because I found something better just want my money plus a friend said they had roaches will delete when I get my money back *Edit this is the right place I emailed and called you today I have my bank statement I know who I applied too you didn’t respond

Jay was awesome! He made our move from Charleston to Charlotte so easy. Hes honest and helpful. Because of him we ended up getting the renovated unit we wanted after being told it wasnt available when we first inquire about the units availability.

I would never ever recommend living at this society. They are not professional. I have lived here 3 hrs ago for about an year and i have terrible experience throughout my stay. Now after 3 years since i moved out they are charging me some kind of lease termination fees (which was never agreed in the first place, they have agreed to waive any fees that will apply during my move out process.) Back then i thought they are very understanding and courteous people who understand your situation and where u coming from. But I am very frustrated to see the letter i received from credit bureau asking to owe these people close to $1600 .I DO NOT want to give my money since it was never agreed by me when i moved out. They never told me anything that they need money from me. They suck all your money. Please everyone Be careful how u deal with these people. DO NOT TRUST THEM . THEY ARE FRAUD

Moved in 2018 & honestly I cannot wait to move out! Stay away if you can. Maintenance is a joke. You put a work order and don’t expect to see them because they will say they are coming and they never show up. When I first moved in my apartment was messed up. No one had come to clean it or fix it & until this day it’s not fixed. I had to clean everything myself. I pay 1120$ for what!? Tracy says one thing & maintenance does another. Police are always here and honestly for someone with a child it is very concerning and I don’t feel safe here.

With any move there are certain concerns. The new staff at Greenrock Estates were great with that transition. Property manager Tracy helped me tremendously and the office staff were great as well. I love my new place.

If you are a responsible tenant DONT rent here. They dont deserve you.When my husband and I moved into the apartment it was filthy and the carpet in the bedroom smelled like a dirty dog. We paid our rent on time and even paid early.When we moved out we cleaned the place thoroughly. Two months went by and no security deposit check. I called, left messages, no one answers the phone there EVER. I went in person about my money and was told the check was sent and was then given a closing statement that said we were owed our security deposit plus a credit.They claimed the check was sent back due to a clerical error but good customer service wouldve been demonstrated if they had overnighted the check. We were being inconvenienced and they were out of compliance because the law states they have 30 days to give us our money.When the check finally came, 3 months late, it was short $195 due to a cleaning fee and damage none of which was on the closing statement. They are crooks and do not deserve good tenants. They treated us like garbage.

Excellent customer service love the new staff! Brenda and everyone in the office are very helpful and polite. Maintenance is very professional when it comes to my work orders, everything gets fix on a timely matter. I have been here since September 2018. I am pleased with the area where I stay. I have wonderful neighbors. I also am pleased with the manager of the apartments, Tracy. She has been friendly since day one that I met her. Most of all her heart is good. Its hard to find a good heart in a manager of a property, so to have her is a blessing. The maintenance staff is great as well. When I need something repaired. It gets done in a timely manner. The only thing I dont care for is the towing of cars. This was however a corporate move and not one of management. I dont feel or see how a persons car who insurance has lapsed or their tag expired should matter and their car is towed if it isnt taken care of nu a certain time. You can get the time extended if you ask, but I still dont agree with it. You never know a persons situation and I feel this was not in the best interest of the people who live here. Other than this I have no issues.
