If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have had the worst experience of my LIFE with this complex. They got my apartment move in date WRONG so I moved into an unfinished and dirty apartment. My lease had a move in date but they regenerated another lease with another move in date and did not inform anyone. Then they tried to charge me for the additional days. That situation was worked out eventually once they “found” the original lease that was sent to me with the move in date I originally had. After all of that I realized this is the loudest and craziest complex. There are a million kids running around and playing ding dong ditch on doors and running around the back of my apartment building. These kids are out of control here. Last night they knocked on my door at 9pm and ran. This has been happening for the past 3 months. The neighbors are loud and there is trash everywhere! There is no peace here. There is still damage that needs to be fixed from my initial move in that maintenance claims they are ordering parts for. Save yourself time, energy, and peace and don’t even consider this place.
I would not recommend anyone applying here. They will find any way possible to get you disqualified from renting at their complex. It takes them days to respond to your questions. They just want to take your application fee.
Worst place Ive ever lived in my life. They do not care for tenants well being whatsoever. If you want to wait days for someone to fix basic necessities like ac(during july) or if you want to have a public pool party at all hours of the night or if you want your landlord to call you and send you emails about not paying rent when you paid In person on time and you find out they misplaced your check (more than once)then maybe you might want to live here.but I do NOT.
My move in experience was wonderful. Baylee was awesome. I absolutely love my new apartment, the neighborhood is super clean and quiet. The location is fantastic with access to 85 and 485 and many great restaurants.
This was a great place in the beginning, but type of tenants moving in have changed in the past 5 years.very noisy neighbors, inconsiderate. I find more trash in the stairwaysand in parking lot. People not picking up after dogsMore dogs and children in the complex before much quieter. No matter how much you complain, you get no results.Maintenance is good always polite and fast. Office staff some are nice and some members need a little common sense ! If you looking for nice upgrade like the new complexes being built you wont find that here. No granite counter tops, no nice appliances or cabinet space. They rather waste and spend money on grounds that are not greener than others Ive seen and pool which is in use only 5 months out the year. But rent is cheaper than most places.
I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice environment and peace and quiet. This is the loudest area Ive ever lived in, the people who live here constantly blast their music indoors as well as in their cars almost every night and during the work day, which has been awful when working from home during covid. The bass is so loud that nothing will block it out, so youre lucky if you consistently get a good night sleep. Theres constant yelling between roommates that you can always hear through the walls, and if your neighbor is smoking weed then your whole apartment will smell of it too. The people who live here are rude and they invite other people here who blast their own music in the parking lot as well. Its especially bad for the buildings in the back, because people will park in our parking lot to blast their music and smoke weed for an hour at like 1am. And theres nothing you can do about it. The people who work here are nice but dont do anything about it. Look for somewhere else to live, I cant wait until my lease is up so I can leave.Edit: I called the number that the owner gave me to try and discuss this stuff, but was sent straight to voicemail and they never got back to me about the message I left. This place is really going downhill fast, along with the people theyre hiring.
It has been a great place, it is beautiful and quite. They also have friendly staff at all times. The activities are fun and interesting and much more. However have a mover if you olan to move up on the second or third floor. You will be tired going up and down those steps. Other than that everything is great. Maintenance is friendly and comes as soon as they can. I recomend this place to anyone and everyone. The prices are nice and the rooms are specious. Only issue is the closet for clothes wpuld advise to get a dresser if you have a lot of clothes.
It’s a beautiful community. Lots of young people and dogs. I think for the price of the rent it should be better appliances and more upgrades. The office staff are wonderful, if you have any complaints they are handled immediately. Going through the application process was quick when it came to the apartment that I was going to move in it was a lot of back-and-forth a lot of things said would happen that couldn’t be done and I really like the first apartment that I chose. When I finally chose an apartment it was some things that I felt should’ve been done that wasn’t done and I paid a prorated rate for three extra days and wasn’t even able to move in during that time because of the work that I felt should’ve been done. Once the office staff was made aware of the things that needed to be done it was handled couple of days later. Office staff apologize for the inconvenience and let me know that if there’s anything else that I need let them know and they’ll take care of it. I think I’m going to like it here
My father and i moved here a few months ago and for the last month he has contacted the office and asked to have his toilet top repaired. He is a 65 year old man who pays the makority of his pension for rent here and after office visits numetous of calls his toilet seat is still hanging off the toilet bowl. I assume they are waiting for us to call our on maintenance company.
I loved living here. The rent was manageable and didnt increase crazily. It was quiet and I felt safe. I lived there in 2019.
Loved living here. Parking is quite good, the washer and dryer area is 24/7 as well as the work out room. Not a lot of kids around but very dog friendly. The community threw a lot of events! I mean every month there was a food truck or something. I had a very enjoyable experience living here for the year that I stayed.
I have never left an apartment review, however, this is necessary as NO ONE should ever have to experience what we went through at Mallard Glen. First of all! Avoid this property at all cost, no matter how nice the units look in person or in pictures, you may just be signing up for a unit infested with mold (painted over like ours) and a contract with the most inhumane management possible. This property is a scam!!! We signed our lease in August and within two months, I started to get sick. We rented a unit in the terrace level. My clothes and suitcases in the closet started having white stuff grow on them. My bedroom wall started to turn green. The ceiling, my bathroom, the laundry room! We finally realized it was mold and immediately brought it to the attention of the property management. We requested to move to a new unit and got denied severally, they bleached the mold and painted over it. We paid an independent inspector who verified that there were unsafe levels of mold in the unit. We fought to get a new unit and eventually we were granted one but they told us the rent had gone up for a smaller space. Again we didn’t relent. I have saved emails and pictures of the conversations for all who are interested in seeing them. Do not sign a lease here!!! We finally moved out and several months later, I get a notice from collection that we owe Mallard Glen!!! They sent us our security deposit right before we moved out all in an attempt to get us not to renew our lease and then they send a final bill to collection while in the middle of disputing the charges. Please save yourself the drama and go somewhere else.**Update per response from owner : Mallard Glen management is FULLY AWARE of the conditions mentioned above. We reached out multiple times and were appalled at the management which places profit above the safety of its residents and hence the review. I personally reached out to Samantha Yoxtheimer, whose response is below, about the fraudulent charges billed to me and my roommate and your response was for me to deal with the Collections agency. If the management truly cared, my roommate and I would be personally contacted and not as response to manage the rating on a google review.
My experience with Mallard/Glen apartment homes thus far has been phenomenal. I worked with Tristan to find my new home and she is absolutely amazing! I am relocating to Charlotte from Ohio and she made this process such a breeze for me. Tristan went above and beyond for me to receive exactly what I wanted. She was so nice the entire time, accommodating and just overall great energy. Tristan answered all my questions with great detail. She took her time and after working with her I knew this would be my new home. I expressed to Tristan that this would be the only time I was traveling to Charlotte before I made the big move. She made me extremely comfortable knowing that I would come back to Ohio feeling confident about my new home in Charlotte. I highly highly recommend that if you are looking to move to Mallard that you work with Tristan. She is dedicated and it really shows that she loves her job. I am ecstatic to move into Mallard and start my new life in Charlotte. I’m so grateful and happy that I was able to work with her. Thank you!
I moved to mallard Glen Feb 2020 and I have to say..I love living here. I have to say the new assistant manager thats been here about a month is freaking awesome..her name is Mirakle..she has went over and beyond for me and to set in her office and watched her do what she does best made me feel more secure within this community and I appreciate her for that..though I have had good conversation with the others that work there.. I have to say shes the first manager I actually know by name..shes very outgoing and a straight forward person and I was able to tell she has a great spirit about her from the moment I meet her..once again thank you for all that you are doing with making a difference at this complex and as long as shes here.. I see this place being even better..Keep up the awesome work Mirakle.
Lived here for a year with roommates, DO NOT RECOMMEND. They do not care about anything, but money. At move in the prior manager scheduled my move in time the same time the carpet was supposed to be cleaned.... I was there at the same time my carpet was soaked. The carpet had spots on it due to our move in and the carpet being damp (did not have a choice, people helping me had to leave within an hour). The manger, Chinita told me via email that it is fine, they would clean our carpets again due to the misunderstanding on their part and we would not be charged. Fast forward to this year, a month before move out the management reached out and asked us if we wanted to move out earlier since another resident wanted the 3 bedroom, we agreed. We paid the rent until the day we moved out, I asked the new manager, Samantha said we were good and nothing left to pay/do. After moving out a month later I get a bill for $300+ with charges for rent, carpet replacement, blinds, other random charges. The total owed was around $600+ but they kept our $300 deposit and subtracted it from what was owed. I emailed Samantha, she didnt reply for over a week - I sent another email and she replied, told me that we owe rent for a few days after until the unit is rented again... so you are telling me that when you go to a hotel or apartment you have to keep paying until it is rented again? When Mallard Glen ASKED US if we would move out....??? and then told me that the carpet we only got charged for half the price, so we got a discount for the carpet when it was not our fault and I had PROOF of emails with Chinita. I email Samantha back and of course she did not reply, instead a month later i get a letter from the credit people.... this place was great until it came to management, they only care about $$$ - do not recommend. Keep all communication via email and HAVE YOUR PROOF if you choose to stay.
First and foremost, Im very disappointed in the reviews Im reading regarding the moving out fees people are being charged. We move out in March so I guess we have to look forward to extreme unnecessary charges. But my issue is, Ive been living at John Adams since Jan of 2016 so literally 5 years in 3 days. My mother and I moved here to get away from her abusive husband. So both of our names are on the lease. Well I recently gave birth to a baby girl and now I want to move out on my own since my mom is safe and I feel comfortable leaving her and starting my new life now. So I thought, why not just try to move to the mallard glen apartments. So I filled out a application and was waiting for a response. So I get a phone call from Samantha saying Ive been denied for some balance and to reach out to Corlogic. So I called them, found out the issue and called Samantha back and she said give her some time to figure some things out and shell get back to me. Still hopeful, I wait for her call. So she calls back and says Im sorry, you were denied due to 3 late payments in the last 12 months...hmmm 🤔 before this phone call, I had her check to see if we had any balances and we did not. Everything was paid up to date. And if my calculations are correct, 12 months prior to this phone call on Jan 11, 2021 makes it Jan of 2020. So the year we go through a pandemic, and fell on hard times, Im being denied for that. How is that fair? Everything is paid up to date but yet Im still being penalized. Im not going to lie, I was a little heartbroken, but after reading through all these reviews, I might have dodged a bullet. Even though Im still living here now and in a couple months will probably have to face these unexplained charges that they throw on their former residents, I think Im ok with parting ways with these people.
Worst Staff I have ever seen, they dont care about complaints unless you cal them continuously around 5+ times. They dont even try to help you or understand the situation, all they want is to make extra money. I would never recommend this apartments. Worst experience.
HORRIBLE!!!! I was evicted for no reason! They never went over the late policy! These ppl do not care! Do not rent here! They are rude now I have an eviction on my record
Earlier in the week we put in a Maintenance request and the day after our request were taking care of. Adam was very nice and wore a mask. Mallard Glen has been great to us.
Great place to call home. Management that cares and responds quickly to maintenance request and any other questions you may have. Highly recommend.
ALL of the office staff is absolutely amazing. During the tour, the application (which is SO easy) and our move in!They have all kinds of resident events through out the month as well.We feel so welcomed in this community!
Well, considering i had to submit the same service digitally twice and my sister had to remind them twice in passing, it was completed. Im not sure about the fan. it looks like a fan that was meant for a regular height ceiling and not a vaulted ceiling or a slanted ceiling. The maintenance person stated that this was what they are putting into the apartments now. Just odd, to go from a fan that right for that type of ceiling, to a fan that is now angled and much higher than the previous one.
I have only been here 1 week and have been harrassed by neighbors about false complaints. And their continuos banging bullying and smoking weed. I asked to be transferred and they are charging another full deposit with one months rent on top of what I just paid. I tip toe around my house I whisper I refuse to move any of furniture in. Im in Soo much remorse
Elizabeth was fantastic in assisting us with all of our needs to get us moved in as efficiently as possible. Answered all of our questions and went above and beyond. Thank you keep up the good work.
Hello there, I just wanted to share my AWESOME customer service experience with Mallard Glen representative Mirakle Hensen. She was absolutely amazing. I ended having a few issues with applying and getting approved but Mirakle went OVER AND BEYOND through the entire process!!! I did get approved but ended going with another apartment because it fit my move out time table better.I have lived in several different apartments and I’ve had plenty of bad experiences with different management teams at different apartments. But I can honestly say, this was the BEST customer service experience I’ve had in a very long time. Mirakle really does everything within her power to get done what needs to get done. I would literally call several times a day to check on the status of things and not once did she try to hurry me off the phone nor was she agitated or irritated that I kept calling.Mirakle is just simply AMAZING!! She is GREAT at what she does!! And she does it with so much grace!! If you are thinking of applying to Mallard Glen... please do yourself a favor and as for Mirakle Hensen!!! You will not be disappointed!!Thank you so much Mirakle for going over and beyond for me!!!
Mallard creek manager she is very rude and unprofessional she is so bossy she does not listen the resident complaints.
My son is living in mallard glen going to school at unc ch. When an issue arose Ms White handled it professionally and efficiently. If you want a place for your student to live that has a management team that cares then choose mallard glen.
Best apartment Ive ever lived in! Work orders are filled quickly by maintenance, then a follow up call from the office to make sure you are satisfied. I love the community events from the Yoga, free ice cream, free pizza and the parties. Theres a front pool and a back pool which are both pretty nice sizes. My only complaint would be there is only one trash area which is near the front so you basically have to drive it up there.
I’ve lived here for 2 years! It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, None of my packages were ever stolen. Maintenance comes when you need them, the appliances are out of date.
This is my first apartment experience in the Queen City and I love it! Transitioning from a mens homeless shelter with more than a hundred roommates to just only one roommate has been quite the opposite experience. One that is more than welcomed. Management team is phenomenal! Maintenance has been consistent and the complex has been exceptionally good. No problems and no complaints. Rent is reasonable. Options to include utilities and washer dryer in unit
Make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing from whoever you speak with in the office! They will tell you one thing and then tell you something else later on. PET OWNERS: make note that in addition to the $250 per dog and $15 per month, you will still be charged a $125 carpet cleaning fee upon move out just for having a pet. The pet fee does not cover ANYTHING! Its simply a way for them to make extra money. Make sure you take your own pictures when you move out. Their cleaning company sends them an invoice if theres an upcharge and they do NOT require any details from them on what required that extra charge. The office is a hot mess and is not very organized, so ALWAYS ask for a receipt when you pay, always know the name of the person you speaking with, and always have documentation of your conversations! They will try to pull a fast one on you and will get away with it if you arent prepared! 2 stars only because the apartment wasnt a total dump while living there. You had the break-ins, neighbors leaving their trash outside, loud music at midnight, broken alcohol bottles on your steps, but the inside was decent.
Living in the university area as a twenty-something means I do not expect much from an apartment complex. Living here has restored my faith in affordable housing. The staff is amazing and does their best to remember their residents. Work orders are done in a timely manner and the grounds are always clean. I am truly impressed with this complex. It is designed for students and lower income famies, but they do not make you feel less than important. The residents of this complex have always seemed to be a priority which is a refreshing change.
I recently relocated to Charlotte 03/08/2020 from California and stayed with friends here because I couldn’t move into my apartment until 03/14/2020. My car was towed 03/13/2020. Formy tags that I cannot register in North Carolina until I got my new address 😐. So now I have to pay $250 for a tow sent by an apartment I only planned to stay at for a few days. On top allllll other moving expenses. Hate this place
I made an appointment to view an apartment and bc of lack of staffing, was unable to view the home. Nobody called or emailed to inform me. It was a complete waste of my time!
Ive lived here for three years and while it has been my first apartment lease it has been a wonderful experience. Staff has been nothing but friendly and attentive to all my concerns anytime Ive had them. Maintenance team is exceptional. Rent is reasonable, although I have roommates. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone. Yes, theres the occasional noise and minor annoyance but youre living in a suburban area in a building that has multiple apartments. Overall, great place to live!
For the price you have to pay, I would not recommend living in this community. The trash is always full and is never clean, neighbors will leave trash outside their doors even with the threat of fines, cars are broken into, the smell of weed appears every once in a while either outside or near your apartment, parties sometimes occur with more than the allowed amount of people, and, the most frustrating of all for me, the laundry complex available at this location never works. To give you an understanding, I have lived here for almost a year and a half and they have always had issues with the dryers in the laundry complex. You have to put your clothes through the dryer for around 2-4 cycles (costing $1.50 each) which makes it better to either wash them and then air-dry your clothes or take them elsewhere. In my opinion, it seems as if they are recommending the installation of their washer and dryers into your apartment for an installation fee plus a slight increase on monthly rent. Also, it took them one time over 2 weeks to pull an automatic payment for rent and then charged us a late fee even though we have proof that theyre the ones who messed this up.
It was a great move in
I wouldnt recommend it. You can live there to find out why. Hope you love roaches. one star is even too much for this property if I could go into detail. My son still live there against his will so cant share too much info. Just friendly warning.
I moved in at the end of July. When I did walk thru I had a few things that were broken on the list. I gave it to the office and they stated that a work order would be done. I waited a few days and nothing. I gave the office a call they said should get to it by the next day which was Friday. when I got home it wasnt done. I went ahead did my own work orders for several things. 2 days later some one came in and did one thing on the order. And skipped the other two. I call the office and told them they would get to the other two the next day. Next day no one comes. Day after that, no comes. I get off late so I cant ca the offices during hrs unless its the weekend. I get survey about my work experience and I wrote what happened and the manager calls the next day. I explained what happened and she stated she would look into it. The day I got a note that some came but i couldnt read it. So gave a call and they said a professional had to come fix my window. To make a long story short it took about a month and half for my window to get fix and that was after many of many calls. Now the third work order which was my security system that comes with apartment and a feature amenity with apartment complex, does not work. After being in the apartment for almost 2 months Im informed its because a sensor is missing and they are not responsible for fixing it. Which if I was told in the beginning before I moved in I couldve pick a different apartment with a working system or just a different apartment complex. Since this security was a decision factor. Honestly they get a 2 star only because when I speak to the staff they are always nice.
Front office is not helpful what so ever.
I have lived here for three years and I have never had an issue with them that could not be fixed. The apartments are a little older but it is completely affordable and the staff are so helpful that it is so worth it.It is close to two grocery stores, right by the main interstates and surrounded by restaurants. Wonderful place, wonderful area and wonderful management.
I have lived here for about 5 months and am already trying to find a better home as soon as or if not before my lease is up. The neighbors are very rude and inconsiderate. They will turn their music up and dance in the parking lots, loiter outside of apartments and apartment buildings. Our neighbors seem to constantly smoke weed; so much that my apartment smells like it. They also leave their garbage outside of their door for days on end and now have developed a huge black mold spot that Property Management refuses to do nothing about. Ive made two phone calls and one in person report about them doing it (which in the contract states that it will result in a $25 fine per bag of trash) which resulted in getting ants in our apartment and two weeks later an exterminator comes walking through my door, but I had already gotten rid of them.Maintenance requests take an act of congress to go through. When I first moved in maintenance repairs would be completed within a couple of hours, but now they take several days. Ive requested repairs when my bathtub and sink were clogged and toilet was leaking so bad that it had soaked through ALL of my towels and gotten on the carpet overnight. I put a bucket under the toilet so that it could catch the water, so I could leave. Also assuming that they would come fix it in an hour or so. When I returned home several hours later I found that my bucket was almost completely full and there was no sign of the maintenance team. I called the front office and it still took several hours for someone to come repair it. As of right now, my dishwasher is clogged and I put in a maintenance request Saturday morning. Now, I understand that they are off on Saturdays, but they should definitely have people work weekends too. After getting off work Sunday night and it still wasnt complete; I went to the front office Monday morning to stress that it needed to be taken care of that day, because it was the only day that I have off until the weekend and Ill be away and need to make sure that these things are finished by the time that I need to leave. She told me that it wasnt an emergency, so she couldnt promise anything would be done that day...and it wasnt. We have also received several emails from property management about how there are reports of peoples cars being broken into. People are too lazy to put their trash INTO the trash compactor, so often times youll see a huge mountain of trash and it stinks to the high heavens. I definitely will not be renewing my lease next year.Thank you.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE🥰
Great place to live overall. Quiet, clean, affordable, with attentive staff and very quick and effective maintenance personnel.
WORD FROM THE WISE: I still live here and have been treated with nothing but disrespect. All they want is money and are not willing To help with anyone! I was also so rudely told by, what i can only guess, is the district manager,Tony was his name I believe, That I should not have moved in her if i could not have afforded it, him knowing that the roommate vacated without paying any rent the very day that rent was due!I WOULD AVOID LIVING HERE! I am looking forward to my move out date and i could care less how much the rates drop! I would not live here at all! ONCE AGAIN: ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY!!!
Very helpful and friendly staff.Go above and beyond to help you when needed. Safe community . I always feel safe when walking my dog day and night.
Clean apartments to move into. And a very friendly staff. They have a great pool and also do certain little events.
Seems like a pretty decent community. I dont personally live here but a family member does and they like it. It looks clean from the parking area. The speed bumps are ridiculous thou lol.
They won’t return my 300 deposit been going back and forth with them since August and still nothing just want my money back.
I really love the area, everyone in the office is extremely nice and wants to make sure you are happy. A kid friendly area.
One of the worst apartments I have ever lived in. Walls are paper thin, you can always hear upstairs neighbors. Multiple car break ins and my apartment was even broke into. Doors and windows are not sealed correctly so there are a ton of bugs and roaches. Work orders take months or they end up not doing them at all. Everything is outdated and you are over paying for what you get. After my lease was up, they charged us for things we didnt do and for things we were missing but had no clue what they were. If you do decide to live here: make notes of everything wrong with the apartment when you move in and while you live there or you will get charged for everything.
Walls are thin. Gym is pitiful. Laundry facility is a rip off. Front office will rip you off if they can. You cant trust these people. I can say that the maintenance crews operated exceptionally well though.
Lived here for 3 years. 1 year in a 3 bedroom and 2 years in a two bedroom. Other than when I signed my leases, I pretty much never had to deal with the front office. The maintenance crew were really on top of things. The neighborhood is nice. One of the nicest cheapish options close to UNCC. My only complaint is that making a left turn on to Mallard Creek Church Rd. is a huge pain in the butt. However, theres a longer back way to N. Tryon that will save you the heartache during rush-hour.
They charge you a lot of money while you move out, i got charged over $1k and arranged a payment plan and agreed to pay monthly, instead they turned aroung and gave it to collection agency . worst staff at the office to deal with, they dont even try to help . such a bad experiece . i have stayed in many aprtments around US and charlotte and never had such horrible exoerience like mallarg glen . If you are reading this apart number is 2515-106
I just got an email from the manager of the apt. to pay $500 towards beg bug pest control . seriously ? which company in the world charges $500 ? They think they can do anything to the moveout tenants becuse its so easy for them . when i asked them for appointment to show exactly what they mean by this bedbugs ( because i have not see during my 1.5yrs stay ) they are asking another $125 to set up appointment, so unprofessional and i felt they made fun of me, such an unprofessional managment . i think i shoul let my other friends know this before they get into this trap.and i dont know what are the other charges going to come.
The maintenance sevice is professional, quick and friendly for the maintenance staff came just after I made an air conditioner maintenance request. I think the morale of maintenance and attituade are the key points to effect the service quality in property management . The service has been done great in Mallard Glen.
Mallard Glen is a great community to live in . The apartments are really good at an affordable price. Also maintenance service is really good and fast
I would like to give zero stars. horrible management they dont care about the residents who live here. They have the worst attitudes not to mention there unprofessionalism, on 2 occasion I walked into the office and approached them to ask a question and they said um im on my lunch brake sooo. There no help just there to get a pay check I wouldnt recommend ANYONE to move here, and if you do Im sorry.6
0 stars is what I would really like to give this place. I know it seems like a smart move because of their cheap rates but trust me it is not worth it! I would not recommned anyone to move here! My roommate and I have stayed here since July of 2017. I did not have any issues moving in, staff was friendly. Since then living here weve seen all typesof creatures in our home. Of course spiders, and ants but also CRICKETS, ROACHES, CENTIPEDS, AND LIZARDS. Yes lizards! Weve probably have had a total of 6 or 7 lizards in our place. When I called the office no one seemed to care. Ive called numerous times about the roaches, no one has came out. Ive requested pest control for about 3 weeks straight now. When I look at my request online, it says completed but no one has come and sprayed or been concerned at all. Almost as if this is normal. The pest here is outrageouos. It also floods in front of our apartment building anytime we get the smallest amounts of rain. Its almost impossible to walk through. Lately with all of the rain, the flood comes to way above my ankles with rain boots on. I also would like to mention that the amenties and finishes are complete trash. This is knew when signing the lease but I didnt think everything would fall apart. Its like they fixed things enough to just get by. Our microwave handle has broken, our sink is broken. The smoke detectors go out every other month. They recently power sprayed our doors and water got everywhere in the apartment which now proves the point of the doors beng too high and pest getting in. If you are thinking about moving here, please dont. I wish I had someone to tell me before I signed my lease. We move out in December and Im counting down the days. Hoping I dont deal with what others have written.
The apartment itself looks okay. I missed the fact that they doors donot have dead bolts on them which is not so safe. The apartment walls n floors are extremely paper thin n on the other hand, neighbors are inconsiderate. Loud music, cigarette smoking and weed smoking too. The parking lots not as clean, i saw a used condom one time and it stayed there for almost a wk b4 being trashed. The bumps arent the best at all. The people in the leasing office act they do care bt really dont, n if u have an issue they pretty much tell you to take of it urself. If you looking for a place, this aint the place. Waiting for the lease to be over to get out or if it becomes so unbearable, i will leave b4 lease is over. What and how the place appears to be when u visit is not how it is in real sense.
Clean professional maintenance staff, courtesy and helpful office staff. Safe and friendly place to live!
It efficient and easy
Love tara she is the best just cant wait to get approve so i can move in.. love this company i have refer so many people to this location because of the experience that i had with tara she is amazing
Good place to live, but contract is not very flexible . its like you are stuck until you finish your contract . I have 7 more months for contract to end but was looking at the options with the leasing office and they gave a big amount to move out and they said can do it in payment plan !! So when it comes to move its not that friendly. I have decided to move out and never come back after my contract ends.
Lived here for about 6 months and never had a bad experience with the office staff. They are super friendly and they have FREE resident events once a month! They had wings once, donuts a couple of times, a wine night, and an arts and crafts day. I mean, who can deny free food? The maintenence staff is pretty awesome too! Everything is done in a very timely manner, and if something is going to take a bit longer, theyll let you know. . This complex is close enough to campus for students to drive, and far enough away for those who want to get away from the college scene. They have 2 pools and the pools are never crowded over the summer. This community is also in a great central location right off the interstate, near TIAA, Wells Fargo, and about 15-20 mins away from 2 shopping centers, uptown, and the PNC theater. Highly recommended!
Good place for college students, new graduates, young professionals who drive to school or work place.
Thank god we break the lease, I wont live here again. The security is bad.Very rude and terrible office staffs.
Service deteriorated very badly. Not a good place to live anymore.Suddenly they close laundry services without delivering machines to home which was ordered 2 months back.very bad in handling and communicating issues.nobody cares and listens.
Roaches.. lotsss of them and the doors are not sealed correctly so they come right into your apartment, car break ins (happened to me personally), no one cleans up after their pets, out dated everything, and will screw you over when you move out with unnecessary charges.
Staying here from last 3 years and service detoriated badly in last few months.complaining over roaches but no proper treatment.service orders takes a week to get processed.compactor area has no light and scary at night times.last few months bad in service
YOU COULD NOT PAY ME TO LIVE IN THIS FACILITY AGAIN.So unsatisfied with the actions that have been taken towards my constant noise complain. The walls are paper thin. Please do yourself, your family, your future room mates a favor and go elsewhere.
Great place
It needs better management
Everyone says mallard Glen charges a huge amount when you leave the apt . I didnt believe until my friend had this experience . They are nasty at charging you a huge amount when you vacate . My friend got charged $500 towards pest treatment and he is waiting for the final bill to see what else he will get . Also the manager Audrey mentioned he tried to make fun of him when he asked for appointment with the pest control guy to prove the charge of $500 .
Good scenic place
Love it .. !!

Trap trap trap
I have lived here for 6 months and this weekend I had a bad experience. UPS has left me a package on Friday (some headphones that have a value of $ 200) I found the box empty, someone indelicate and without values took what did not belong to him and threw the box under the stairs of my block, really It is courageous to have to be surrounded by these types of people.
The complex is very complete, it has a laundry area, gym, swimming pool
