Gabby is absolutely amazing. She was always open and honest and had such a great attitude throughout my whole move in process. She went above and beyond to make sure all my stuff was in order. Thanks Gabby for everything!

The moving in process was easy. But if it’s easy it’s too good to be true I guess. Things started out well then came the roaches. I was over it by that time. I broke my lease after 6 months and they charged me almost $800 for a small piece of carpet that my 10 pound Shih Tzu tore by the front door

I had a great experience with moving into Charlotte Woods apartments! I’ve been here 3 weeks now and I love it I’d definitely recommend this property to others! Sonya was great throughout the whole process!!!! She deserved that promotion!!!!!! Signed a happy resident!

I just moved here a few week ago and I must say that I really like my apartment. Its very quiet here and there are bus stops to go where I need to go. I can see myself renewing my lease and staying here for a long time.

If you are going to live here in winter you will have no problems. but if you are going to live spring and summer, dont look elsewhere. The air conditioning does not work, it does not cool, the failure is reported and more than 5 days pass and nobody checks anything or repairs anything. living above 88 degrees every day and night included. a total disaster. nobody takes care of anything. dont move here.

The neighbors are quiet. The building is a tad old and needs some up keep including my apartment. The elevator definitely needs to be cleaned and we could use more lighting outside. I did have a problem with my plumbing and the lady who answered the call was quiet rude but the two gentleman who fixed it did it quickly and did a fantastic job. Overall its been a pleasant experience.

The place is nice but like it be hot outside and is hot in the building and the cool air is not working I come home to a hot place and that just not right the air just throw fan air I don’t want fan air that sucks I would imagine during the summer when it gets hotter

This facilitys maintenance program is less than adequate. My AC has broken more than 5 times so far this Spring and its only April. One might think that is in important issue to address, but nope. It will take days for someone to even show up to fix it. The fix is always temporary, and no one seems to have a sense of urgency on fixing it once and for all. I would not recommend this place to anyone that I care about.

Charlotte Woods is a great place to live the staff is awesome! I actually moved away from charlotte woods for two years and moved back because it is a great community. The maintenance team is always there to help with issues and of course the ladys in the office will help you in anyway they can! Im happy to call Charlotte Woods my home!

I love the appartment space, but can do without the noise, Lol. Living on the bottom, next to the stairs has its querks and perks. I will say the people seem to be nice though. I want to especially thank Mrs.Whatley for all her help in making this a smooth transition for me, her professionalism was most appreciated.Thank you all for everything, so happy to call Charlotte Woods my home.

I call me up office to discuss and better understand why they towed my car. During the discussion I did not raise my voice at all or use any foul language but because we did not agree she hung up the phone on me. Totally unprofessional!!!

A/c goes out literally every month multiple times. If you value comfort not a good place to live. Many other issues including water going off randomly.

My fiance and her mother stay here and the company that manages the properties has never once, in 3.5 years of living there, held up to any of their maintenance responsibilities or promises. The AC in each unit is tied to the buildings AC and neither work properly. All of the buildings are dirty, dingy, and bug infested. The plumbing frequently fails, backs up, or is cut off without warning. The flooring in all units is either cheap, old carpet or cheap, peeling linoleum. Most of the exterior doors have broken locks. No units have washer or dryer hook-up, but their in-house laundry rooms charge you $2 per load wash and dry. The parking is abysmal and often overcrowded with no recourse.

Charlottewoods is a great place to live. It is a quiet and safe place to stay.I love living here. Thanks for letting me live here.

They dont let you control the AC, and its often broken. They dont fix anything, and when they do they dont do it well. Our sink spits water from the drain every few months and not only do they not actually fix the problem, underneath my sink got moldy and they havent fixed that either.Edit: they were notified about a SECOND MOLD PROBLEM. Its been at least a month and nothing has been done. I wish I could give negative stars tbh. Ive never heard of someone living here and having a good opinion of them after leaving. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Large living room and bedroom, quiet neighborhood. Valet trash, water, heat and air is included in the rent . Laundry room is cashless - you use an app to pay or pay right from you debit or credit card . Management has been helpful every step of the way. Kashema is great, I was literally emailing her for a month before I applied. Maintenance is fast and friendly. So far it has been a very enjoyable experience. I moved during the COVID- 19 outbreak and Kashema made the whole experience contactless . Which I thought was awesome. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone in the Charlotte area. The location is great! Can’t wait to go to montford once everything opens back up!

Had my car broken into here. Thank God my insurance covered it. Also because they have so many trees in the area a tree fell on my car. Apartment complex didn’t even offer to fix it. Luckily it only knocked Off my side mirror. The AC went out twice every 2 weeks during the summer it was almost like clock work. If you have packages that are being delivered you have to jump through hoops to get them in the front office. Small apartments and they wanted to raise the rent. The elevators stopped working be prepared to have your cell phone on you in case you need to call for help. BYE ✌🏽

When I moved to Charlotte this was the first place Ive lived for 3 years. The heat and air included is very attractive however management do not care about their tenants. Ive since moved out but I know others who lived there and had nothing but problems the entire time. I felt bad for recommending it but apparently the building I lived in was the good building so I didnt have too many issues. The maintenance guys are cool and the office staff however the head lady Sonia is like a ghost. She makes the rules, increases your rent but you never get to see or talk to her. Lol I visited there for like a year after I moved and it was just filthy. They started to let anybody move in. Its not worth what they are charging now. Unless some upgrades are made. Ill rather live where its a tad nicer for a few more dollars. The space is huge though so that was a plus.

Matienence doesnt do their job at ALL! The cleaners dont get your trash for days on end so much for trash service included in rent If you dont want gnats I suggest you throw your own trash out because their workers are the LAZIEST!!! They spray and leave dead water bugs, spiders and roaches all over the hallways, and it stinks most of the time. The desk receptionist are very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with and its a good location. Thats the only good part of these apartments. Goodluck .

Great price, dont be fooled by their claims of award winning service. If it is below 50° outside you have no control of the temperature in your appartment.The safety of the complex is hazardous due to fire code violations like broken closed fire escape door handles to the lack of fire extinguishers and there inability to change hallway fire and carbon monoxide detector batteries. Not to mention the armed robbery incidents.The managment in the front office is indifferent to any concerns for the residents. When I was bitten by a fellow residents dog they wouldnt even work with me to file a police report. Paperless is their philosophy and that includes adhering to their part of the lease. The dog park is always adorned with a septic nightmare of a trashcan overflowing with dog excrement only changed bimonthly at best. The pool was open for two months of last year and had no active cleaning of the pool deck in season.Make sure you have a good plan for washing clothes, if you move here, there are 5 washer and dryer units per building. The lint trap is never cleaned in the bottom of the machine. For a substantial portion of last year one of the washers was broken in our building, and one of the dryers didnt dry.Expect your mail to be insecure, and delivered at the wims of someone that values advertisement distribution over certified mail.Lastly look forward to the sweet smells of people smoking cigarettes in bed in the apartments around yours, cause if they fall asleep in bed the chemicals in the cigarette paper may save your life because the smoke detectors certainly will not.

This has been the worst experience of my life. I moved in 2 months ago and I am already breaking my lease. My poor dog has gotten fleas 3 times and I have had to take him to the vet over and over because this place is filthy. The service is absolutely horrible and the people that work in the office are so incredibly rude to the ones paying to live here. Not to mention my closet with the water pump or whatever has grown mold and Ive already had patches to stop leaks twice. All the light bulbs in my bathroom broke after the first month living there, garbage disposal was broken and my fridge smelled like fish for the first month of living there... the list could go on and on. I work over time at my job now just to make sure Im not home as much as possible. 20 days left and it feels like time could not move any slower.

This place used to be great but now its a dump. They chase good tenants away with horrible service. They ignore their roach problem by saying that the little monsters are waterbugs. As if it matters. Valet trash isnt consistent. The hallway carpet is stained horribly and the common areas of the building reek. The elevators feel like death traps and the air vents are growing some strange mold that the office blatantly refuses to deal with. They will look at your income at lease renewal and try to get extra momey. I can understand someone wanting to live here if their desperate, but it really isnt worth the obstacles you would sign yourself up for all year. There are many better options in the area.

Terrible place to stay. Work order take 2-3 days to get completed. Property Manager is the worst. She only cares about money not the residents.

Hmmm Heat and air is free, but hardly ever works. Pipes are always clogged, water doesnt drain correctly. Elevator lights are always out, and they are raising rent hmmmm, a rip off. Secured entrance to building; they tried but the handles are always broken. Ceilings and walls are thin, I hear everything my neighbor upstairs does. Embarrassing to bring guest here, I lived in two buildings on this site and they both sucked unless of course you get the lucky C building. Employers are great people, its corporate who doesnt give a rats ass. Hey look at the bright side... its close to uptown (sarcasm)
