Not what it used to be. The Bryant was an amazing place to live when it first opened. Now, not so much. Was sold on ample parking as well as a state of the art community center that would be 24/7. During the height of the pandemic they changed the hours and said it was because of Covid-19, months later nothing has changed. Property will nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING. Valet Trash fines that are double to price of the valet trash monthly fee (which you can’t opt out of). Parking is HORRIBLE! Cars parked in the gated lot not in a parking space, sometimes in the way of 2 way traffic in the lot. Beware of Townhouse (Karen’s) residents whom are not apart of the community but will call the authorities and/or make false reports for anything while at the pool. Plenty of places in Charlotte, do you research and don’t settle just because of the location.
By far the BEST apartment complex I have been at!! I just moved in about three days ago now and everyone has been super supportive and helpful of my move.I am slightly disabled as I was in a car accident and the leasing agent Marlee even helped me move in my belongings that way I did not have to strain my broken wrist.Dawn the maintenance man is AWESOME!! So witty and funny, absolutely recommend living here
Quality and value is decreasing. Residents used to have 24-hour access to the mail room, gym, and lounge areas. All locked during certain hours now and told it’s because of COVID. Residents use to have the comfort and safety of gated parking, The bryant blue print did not allot for each resident to have a parking space in the community. The bryant also issues fines equal to a months payment of valet trash if you make 1 mistake- no warning. There are plenty of places to live in Charlotte, don’t let the cover fool you. Management is unresponsive and residents themselves .
The office and maintenance staff are top notch! I have no complaints. The team addresses concerns in a professional manner.
What not to love about the Bryant?! The staff is always cordial and willing to help. A special shout-out to Andrew and Cassandra for always being so kind, compassionate and professional. Maintenance is always quick, efficient and some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. The amenities are top of the line. The location is extremely convenient (5-10 min to everything like noda, south end, airport and Midwood). I personally love the events that even with covid kept happening like create your pizza and taco (kuddos for creativity). Truly love calling the Bryant my home for another year. Keep up the amazing job guys :) ohhh and look at the uptown view! Can’t beat it.
To be honest, I have not seen such a fantastic team of management that we have here at the Bryant apartments. Andrew & Kiana are very helpful whenever you reach out to them for anything and at the same time are very professional & polite. The maintenance team also is very quick and responsive to our needs all the time. I have lived here for almost a year and love the way this community is designed be it the apartments or the amenities. The club house is also always clean and fantastic. The apartments are also equipped with the latest and power saving appliances. Overall a very nice place to live.
These apartment are nice but once you make a right you’ll be in the hood. It’s 100 people by the pool area. Never any parking after 8pm and you might be parking on the side walk. And if you’re coming home late just forget about it. Only been here for a little and my car was broken into from parking in the streets, terrible. No one cleans after themselves here. It’s a shame because the apartments are pretty decent. And too many college kids.
My experience was nothing short of amazing, Marlee was very compassionate and genuinely wanted what was best for me and my living needs. She was kind, warm, and so very helpful through every step of the way of my move in process! I love the Bryant apartments, all of the staff cares! :)
Overall I have a had a good experience living here until last week when my car was towed. There were no emails ever sent out to my email address on file (stating to pick up parking passes for residents) and when I went into to the office to ask for records of IF they sent out an email to my address- there was nothing found. The office claimed that there were signs on doors everywhere, except for the door that I use every day to enter and exit my building. I dont think this situation was fair at all, given that I have been a good resident. Why should I have to pay $250 for something I was never notified of?
Its a fine place to live. My roommate and I made the most of it at least. Here are my major call outs that make living at the Bryant an incredibly frustrating experience:- most importantly: Felt totally unsafe!!- Anyone over 5 ft can easily reach over the gates and let themselves in to the gated complex. They went cheap on everything, including keeping their residence safe and minds at ease.- There have been people that do not live here drinking on the hoods of their car in our parking lot on multiple occasions; this makes living on the first floor super uncomfortable and I didnt feel safe walking my dog at all.- Weve heard multiple fights right outside our first floor windows and people getting slammed into our windows.- They left the exterior doors of the buildings unlocked for 5 months (including the ones leading out to Wilkinson Blvd) Someone walked straight into my friends apartment while she was home and luckily he left when she asked him what he was doing, but this is a major security issue!!- Theres always people at the pool that dont live at the Bryant causing issues and having to be escorted out my the leasing office. They tried to fix this with rubber band pool passes... lol. How about a gate you cant just reach over and let yourself into?- They run an Airbnb out of the floor I lived on and random people were in and out all the time.- There have been multiple times when the police are called and we have had no idea what is going on and no information from the leasing office.- The leasing office....- They will nickel and dime you for everything. Ive lived in multiple apartments in CLT and no one charges you like the Bryant- Miscommunication after miscommunication... there were many while living here, but upon move out we asked if we needed to hire cleaners, they said no just to clean ourselves. After cleaning the entire apartment we received a $140 cleaning charge for a couple crumbs in the microwave and fridge. They also proceeded to tell us we did in fact need cleaners and there was a miscommunication. We made the most out of living here and there were a few redeeming aspects, like Don, the maintenance man who is always to the rescue! However, once they raised our rent to the price of an uptown apartment with a city view (meanwhile we lived in a small two bedroom with a parking lot view) and the community and whole experience continued to go down hill we were SO EXCITED to move out.Proceed with caution.
It was great experience moving in. Love the apartment!Special thanks to Marlee from the leasing office. One of the best management I have seen so far.
Professionalism from the office staff has been great from day 1. Love the amenities, brand new apartments, quick responses from staff, friendly community and great location. Not to mention the view from some of the balconies. Construction in the immediate area starts early most days but that’s the only drawback aside from occasionally having to park a few rows back
Im really happy with my choice to make the Bryant my new home here in the Queen City. The staff at the Bryant is exceptional, having lived in many apartments over the years, they go above and beyond making sure your experience as a future and current resident is unmatched. Andrew is one of the best Community Directors and Property Managers Ive come across in a long time. Andrew, Cassandra and the team are top-notch professionals! Friendly, responsive, polite and welcoming! Theyre there to help you every step of the way and I always say its the people who make it a true luxury community. Don and the maintenance team are industry professionals, knowledgeable and on top of any fixes. Everyone is extremely helpful so if youre questioning whether to make this your new home, you wont be disappointed. Not to mention, its a brand new building with awesome views of the city!
I absolutely LOVE my apartment. The floor plan is great, the appliances are high end/ nice, the bathrooms are huge, the security is great, neighbors are super nice, and the pool is fabulous. I haven’t tried the gym yet but it looks amazing and I can’t wait. Staff is genuinely caring and sweet, very helpful. 10/10 would highly recommend. 👍🏼
Maintenance staff is always friendly and efficient!
I’ve never been more dissatisfied with an apartment community. Walls and floors are paper thin. I love waking up in the morning to my upstairs neighbor taking a leak, hearing the couple downstairs fighting, or the dog next door barking. That kind stuff just comes with living in an apartment but it’s pretty bad here. After living here for almost a year, they’ve finally hired a cleaning staff. This was about 7 months AFTER Covid started. I’ve been told they were working on getting call boxes for the buildings but that seems to just be a lie. The amount of construction that has gone on here is insane. I can’t count the number of times sidewalks have been torn up. The entrance to my building is still not paved and the gate still doesn’t close. No need for setting alarms here since the construction next door is usually promptly working at 7am. You never know when you will be trapped in the parking lot due to said construction workers so be careful you’re not late for work. The smart homes here come with cool wireless door locking features. The locks run out of battery about every 2 weeks so beware of maintenance just popping over unannounced all the time. After complaining about it, they called to tell me they were coming but just never showed up. The maintenance people don’t say hello to me anymore. They seem mad at me so I’m assuming that’s why they didn’t come back. Cool.If you have pets..... DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Residents don’t clean up after their pets. It’s almost guaranteed you’ll have dog poop on your shoes no matter how careful you are. Management seems to have given up on this matter. In a recent response to a complaint I made, I was told to just use other facilities. When you take your dog to the dog washing station after stepping in dog poop, if the door isn’t locked, there probably won’t be any running water. Oh, and residents here think it’s acceptable to let their dogs run free so, just make sure you keep an eye out for untrained unleashed dogs lurking around the property.I had a bad feeling about moving in to this place and I should have listened to my gut and just gone elsewhere. Take my word for it. DONT MOVE IN! If you do, you only have your self to blame for the misery that is The Bryant Apartments. The one star is for the nice ladies that work in the office.
I am happy with my decision. The staff are professional and are always welcoming. they answered all my questions (which were lot) without making me feel they are irritated with me. Soloni was very helpful, friendly, and went above to make sure I was comfortable with my decision to make sure I made right choice by showing me multiple units. Thank you Soloni. It is the people that made me decide on the place to make it my home.
Hot water issues. Management & Maintenance response was quick and sincere apologies.Wthin minutes...HOT water.
Great Move in Experience!
I’ve been living here for almost 4 months and this place is still under construction. Each morning I wake up to some new and exciting loud noise. This property clearly was not ready for occupants. Lesson learned.Update: Community amenities are abused by non-residents. The property has a security issue.
Love the Bryant.
I really enjoyed the space and see it will be an exceptional place to live in the QC! So close to uptown and the airport without all the cluttered traffic! Some of the best views of uptown, too! Omar did a wonderful job helping me understand my options and gave me a great tour!
For a “luxury” place to be so new and close to the city but built with zero regard for visitors is beyond my understanding. There is no callbox at the gate for visitors, deliveries, Uber etc, as well as no callbox on the doors for entries. It’s inexcusable in 2020 new construction. Outside of the interior look and amenities this is not a place for enjoyable living. All of the residents should complain for change.
Staff is excellent and very friendly. Apartments are brand new and luxurious. It is great being the first one to live in the apartment. Maintenance team is awesome. Great location near uptown.
They handled my maintenance request quickly and were very kind!
Cassandra was very helpful through the entire process. She listened and answered all of my questions. The complex is brand new and BEAUTIFUL! I can not wait to move in!!!
Apartments are gorgeous and leasing staff was super helpful at answering all of our questions! We are so excited to hopefully live here once the apartments are fully completed!
Beautiful apartment
This is a really nice place to live. Luxury apartments.
Genesis and Samaria and Joseph
It is a complex of very comfortable private apartments, with meeting rooms, swimming pools and many other amenities.
