I have been meaning to leave a positive review, and give a huge shout out to the fine team at this community. Amanda, Tammy and Terrence have gone above and beyond in delivering me the most beautiful and updated apartment in time for my move date. Let me tell you, this was no easy task. They were under a tight move-in deadline because of the holidays and I know for a fact that each individual sacrificed their time and pushed hard to get things ready for me. Living here has been a delight. The apartments are quiet and the people in the community are kind and friendly. Keeping people happy these days is not easy, so I just thought I would leave this little review so that the fine Leasing folks could be praised. I highly recommend these apartments.

This place is awesome! I lived here for 1 year and the location is perfect with tons of shopping within walking distance. The apartment and grounds were kept in great shape and the leasing office as well as maintenance team were kind and attentive. Highly recommend this apartment community!

We have stayed in this community for close to 18months, and without any doubts I would term this one the best community I have ever stayed at. We have very supporting and understanding staff in Leasing office. That itself make a good reason to move-in there. I would like to share one of my experience: I had completed my 12 month stay and extended my lease for another 13 months with very nominal increase in rent. All was going well, but due to some personal challenges I had to terminate my lease prematurely. At that moment Stephanie helped us a lot in navigating through the transition. Management gave us multiple options to lower our financial burden. Overall it made the lease termination process a pleasant and wonderful experience. Thank you Stephanie and to everyone from the management team. A strong recommendation from my side.

I am in the process of moving to The Apartments at Blakeney and I just have to say, the service you will receive from this property is above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Stephanie is incredibly kind, attentive, and extremely helpful. She has made the process easy and seamless. The staff alone is reason enough to move here. But the apartments are also beautiful and affordable. They are spacious and well thought out. If you are looking for an apartment in Charlotte, definitely put this place on your list!!

Luxury apartments, perfect location, and above par customer service all in one community.The maintenance team are professional, provide quality work, clear in communication, and responsive to work orders. I have lived in this community for one year and plus and never had any issues. The management team have been clear and communicative with changes to amenities/etc during COVID. If there are concerns you can always count on the friendly management team to respond. The Manager, Assistant Manager, and Leasing Professionals care about their residents, the upkeep of the community, and their role in the community. The neighbors are excellent. No noise complaints. Nothing. The grounds are always clean. One of the neat aspects of the community is the walkability of the community. Between residential homes you have beautiful grill areas, seating options, and many amenities. For example the dog park, childrens park, car washing station, and vegetable garden! The apartment floor plans themselves are large and spacious. The upkeep of the homes are of high quality. Not to mention the location is literally a 3 minute walk from Target, Childs playground, Amazing food, and etc. I highly recommend this community to anyone and even after I leave will say this place is the best community in Ballantyne.

My boyfriend and I moved to NC from Miami Florida and we werent able to physically look at any apartments due to COVID 19 so we did a bunch of research and narrowed it down to two apartment complexes. Both extremely good reviews but the one difference was the assistance we got from Blakeney. Stephanie is honestly the most personable, caring and understanding individual I have had the privilege of being in contact with. She made sure everything was ready to go for our move in date. The apartment is beautiful, the community is beautiful and everyone is so nice and welcoming! We are so happy to have moved here!!

This is a beautiful community. Area is great and overall great atmosphere.

I am so appreciative of the staff in the front office. Rachel went above and beyond to assure an easy transition as my daughter and I are new to Charlotte. If she wasn’t in that day, both of the colleagues in the office followed up with me to make sure the process was running smoothly. I can’t tell you enough how thankful I am to have such an amazing team at the apartment complex I live in!

This is a beautiful area to live in and Blakeney Apts are just as beautiful. Very unique apts and I just love that my steps are inside instead of outside like every other complex I’ve seen. I’m very happy to be living here.

We were looking for new apartments and have liked location of this community. But lady in office from the beginning did not show, that they are interested in new resident. It looked like we came to her home without invitation and disturbed her from something very important. She was speaking with us with irritation. When we told that we have 2 decorative dwarf rabbit. She went out and came back saying, that policy company do not allow live with rabbit. Seriously! They live in a cage and dont make any sounds. Ive read about pet policy on your web site. I havent found any words about bunnies. Looks like some one just wanted get rid from us, as fast as can. Thank you for your friendly attitude.

This community is extremely rigid with rules and fines. Additionally they make is near impossible to transfer even after a year unless you have perfect payment history for 12 months consecutively. It’s an issue for several people I’ve talked with in the community and I’ve been here over a year. I have been trying to transfer to a larger unit given working from home since Covid. Completely stuck!

I truly enjoy living here, it is quite and very family oriented. The maintenance staff always answer my request if I have one quickly and efficiently. The office staff are always eager to speak with me if I have any questions or concerns as well. My only complaint would be with lawn care as they blow all debris into my porch furniture and into the corner but hey what’s a little sweeping, lol!

Been here 7 months so far and do not have a single complaint.Great location.The grounds are meticulously cared for.Most neighbors are very friendly.The staff are absolutely awesome, especially Carly.The amenities are fabulous and very well taken of.Overall great experience and would recommend it to everyone. You get what you pay for and I feel like I am getting the better end of the deal living here.I had to open a maintenance ticket once regarding the air conditioning and it was literally fixed within 20 minutes on a Saturday! It just doesnt get any better than that.And to the 3 month pregnant lady who gave a bad review complaining about the lawn crew starting work at 8am, I have an idea! Perhaps you can contact the lawn crew supervisor and work out a deal where you can submit your weekly schedule to them so they can adjust the work hours of their 20+ man crew to work around your schedule. Feel like sleeping in tomorrow? Perhaps you can just text them and have the crew arrive a few hours later to suit your needs. Im sure they, and their families, would all be more than willing to work outside of the normal work hours just for you!

The Assistant Manager trice is the best! She is very attentive and responsive. She is the reason why I moved here. If you need anything she is the one that can make it happen. Management and the maintenance crew always maintain professional and go above and beyond the call of duty to assist us with our needs. The quality of work here is second to none.

I put in a service request for a few small but important items that needed attention. The repairs were made swiftly and really makes a difference in my apartment.

I am going to give an objective review of my time here at The Apartments at Blakeney. Ive been here for a year and a half. Pros- I feel safe, and the community is generally quiet and peaceful (only the occasional car passing by with loud music). The apartments themselves are very well maintained, and large. There are also a great variety of floorplans to choose from. Maintenance does a great job addressing the rare issues I have had- timely and correctly. The community itself is well kept.-The cons; the front office staff is not friendly. It is irritating to go into the rental office and have the staff look at you as if you are an alien. Thankfully I dont have to deal with them much, so, it isnt a huge issue. The only other thing I am not crazy about are when the lamp posts between and next to the apartment buildings are not on (for whatever reason). If I unexpectedly get home after dark, or forget to turn on my front door light, then I am fumbling getting my key in the door because it is so dark that I cant find the keyhole. While I understand this is nitpicking, I also feel that I pay enough rent for these lights to be working at all times...With that being said, I highly recommend these apartments.

Its a quiet, green, beautifully manicured community. The people are friendly and management is responsive. The gym was just upgraded and the pool area is small but beautiful - complete with two new gas grills. LOVE THAT! There have been ongoing issues with mail but that is more of a USPS issue. I would definitely recommend it!

The apartments are nice. The maintenance team is the best. They usually complete your work order the next day or max 2 days.

I lived in these apartments for a year and had no issues. Staff was always friendly and willing to help. Location was great, grounds were kept up and the maintenance team always went above and beyond to make sure people stayed happy.

I loved living in The Apartments at Blakeney. the community is quiet and safe and the apartments are beautiful. Also the maintenance crew members are second to none. The only problem is the Palmetto Bugs lol !!. They are huge an I see them often thats the only issue, but other than that is awesome lol !!.

Nice grounds. The units themselves have been well kept and maintained. Cant beat the location. Convenient to a number of shops and restaurants.

I cannot give 5 stars because many of the amenities that we pay for in our rent seem to be closed too often ... most notably, the pool. It seems like every 1 1/2 weeks the pool is closed for some reason or another - and that is unacceptable. I very much enjoy being able to hang out at the pool on my days off/weekend and far too often I walk up to the pool only to be greeted by a sign saying Pool Closed. I have also heard other complain that the community grills often do not have filled propane tanks, so they cannot use them. I do very much like my apartment, the clubhouse, the location, and the staff are very courteous. But it is the little things that separate a good apartment from a great apartment.

Would not recommend these apts!! Although they are nice looking they are not well kept. The appliances are cheap. The maintenance man is rude and disrespectful! One of the ladies in the office is rude and condescending. The pool is green and they dont have lots of excuses why. Obviously they dont know how to maintain the correct chemicals.

RJ, the newest member of the maintenance team is very personable and very proffessional.Out of the 6 years living here I dont think I have every had any maintenance professional address me as Mr (last name) nor ask me how my wife and family is doing before starting to work on our maintenance request. This within itself seperates good service to exceptional service. RJ communicates very well with helping you understand what he is doing from the moment he enters your home to the moment he leaves. He uses the 10 ft rule very well by speaking and acknowledging you on the resistance campus if he sees you around while remember your name and acknowledging you with a hello. These are small but very significant peoples and professional skills that makes the difference to me as a resident here at Blakeney. My family really like this guy he seems positive respectful and a great fit for the Blakeney community.

I can say this is a nice location if you are commuting to work within 5-7 miles and nearby shopping area and restaurants, but only problem if you are in first floor and you had to bear with people walking/running in second floor, the sounds are so disturbing all day/night.

The Apartments at Blakeney in Charlotte has been the worst living experience I have ever had (which includes college living as well). I have never been so disappointed in a poor managed community. I lived there for 12 months with my elderly grandma and the only two big request that we EVER asked them to do NEVER was done. The ladies at the front desk were ALWAYS rude and NEVER answer the phones, nobody has any clue on how to do their job, plus my noise compliant situation was never resolved. Also for the amount they charge for a 2 bedroom apartment the quality of furniture is HORRIBLE. The cabinets are all scratched up, ugly green counter tops (not even quartz), kitchen appliances are NOT new or energy efficient, and they don’t even clean out the heat/ac filter once a month. The ONLY thing was the location is convenient. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to live here. Such a disappointment and would NEVER go back ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely loved The Apartments at Blakeney! I stayed here the summer of 2012 for a short time period because my fiance was working in North Carolina and I wanted to visit for a few weeks. His company was staying at these apartments and I fell in love with them! Our goal is to return to North Carolina and we talk about renting from here again! Whenever there was a problem, the staff was quick to fix it and were always apologetic. Not to mention how well kept the landscaping is! I highly recommend these apartments if you are considering living here. You wont regret it!

Where to Start? This is one of the most mismanaged apartment community in Charlotte. They charge you a premium for a 2 bedroom apartment, but the problems you face are enough to rob you of your peace of mind. My apartment has a Dish Washer and Laundry Unit that is not fixed till date (and I am moving out in a week after 10 month lease). Spiders, bugs are perennial inmates. The facility manager will charge you 30$ for pest control, but thats just the money they want from you, nothing else matters. Then their is Valet Trash Service for 30$ per month, guess what - someone stole the Valet Trash Bin.Also, dont worry to bother the property managers with these issues, they turn a deaf ear to you - only thing they care about is your money should be in their pocket by 5th of every month.If you work in Uptown Charlotte, please do your reasearch. You will find 1000 times better managed facility both in ballantyne and South end.

The apts. themselves are adequate, but prepare to be EXTREMELY frustrated with the office staff! They NEVER answer the phone, and if you DO manage to get a call back from them they are extremely disorganized and unhelpful. Management should fire the lot of them.

My corporate relocation put me here for about two months when I first moved to Charlotte. The apartments are really spacious and the complex is well maintained.

Im a resident here and have been since December. We moved here bc we thought it would be a nice place to settle down together. I was wrong. We expected the rent to be a bit on the high end bc its Blakeney and we were okay w that bc we thought that always meant quality. It doesnt. Opposite it seems actually. They didnt change the carpet out before we moved in. Instead they documented stains all over on our move in inspection form. Since weve been here weve already had a night w/o water, a night w/o electricity and have put in more service requests then at all my years at other apartments combined.A leaky pipe, a faulty garbage disposal, broken ice maker (they do not change out filters in the fridge even tho its their appliance), the appliances in general are such a low quality for the money we pay. I pulled a rusted piece of metal from my dishwasher the other day. Have no idea what it was. The dishwasher doesnt work normally anyways. I have to clean them by hand first so whats the point?!And lastly, the lawn crew is here everyday at 8am and thats sucks for me bc Im 3 months pregnant and all I want to do is sleep. They dont even care about the residences. The lawn crew I mean. They park in our spots and stare at me like Im a piece of meat when I walk my dog.I wish I loved it here. I love the floor plan and how close it is from work. I love the community garden and nice courtyards. I love the gym and valet trash. But all and all Im so unhappy. We werent going to move out this year bc Ill be 8 months pregnant when our lease is up but we are seriously considering it anyways bc of how unhappy I am.Do your research. Thats all Ill say.

If you want to see the maximum level of ignorance and attitude go to this apartment’s office. It has the poorest customer service ever. I proved the comments here are true.

My elderly mother lives in this complex. Although office hours are posted on the internet, people are not in the office. Its frustrating when you are trying to get an issue resolved.

Not that good - no better than anywhere else - seems mgmt doesnt really care about the residents - generating maximum revenue appears to be much more important on the priority list
