Sinh and his wife Ann are more than amazing!!! Sinh did my gel nails and he by far is I believe the best. My friend had her eyebrows done by Ann and they were done so clean. Sinh not only took his time, but he made sure the nails weren’t done too thick or thin and he left absolutely no space between the cuticle and gel acrylic nails. 2 hours before closing I pulled up to see the door was propped wide open. As I was getting out of my car I hear the door slam and I laughed and said no way. I proceeded to walk up anyway and the Asian man was just staring at me holding the door barely open and I ask just for a quick and simple eyebrow wax, and this man says we’re so busy right now and shuts the door in my face!!!……mind you there was only one person getting a pedicure and about 2 employees just sitting there and him dealing with me at the door, no apology or anything. I just told him that’s bad for business and walked away. I will never be coming back here again.

Blue Jay Nails is excellent. The owners care and are great at what they do! I stubbed my toe in my shoe and my nail turned colors. I went to doctor they said I was fine it would just take time to heal. They helped me get it all healed in record time. They are amazing and super friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Anne was very nice and she helped me with my toe nails. She informed me that they were not entirely healthy but that she could help me get them into better shape. She explained all the steps and sent me home with things i could use to maintain at home. The place is very clean and they are mindful not to have too many people inside at once. Excellent service. I just moved to the area. I found the location and arrived but on the door it said appointment only. I was about to go home but I called and he was able to get me in immediately. He was so kind. He asked for my name and remembered it throughout the service. He wrote down the cost of everything to make sure there were no surprises. After 20 yrs as a loyal customer (even when shop was located in East Tampa) I was disappointed at the treatment I received from Ann. She determined something must be wrong with one toe because of its discoloration. The discoloration and thickness of the nail is chronic and not due to any health issue. Its been that way for many years. My podiatrist examined and confirmed theres nothing wrong but Ann no longer wanted to provide the cleaning and trimming of my nails because she decided she could not help me. There was nothing she needed to help...Additionally, Ann insisted on being paid in cash versus using my card even though their business advertises acceptance of credit cards. This was inconvenient for me but I accommodated her demand because my foot care was most important. Ann is very good at her craft but her treatment of me as a customer was very surprising and disappointing.

Sinh and his wife are really kind. They not only did a great job, but explained what they were doing at each stage. They also educated me on how to take better care of my nails!

To be honest I am in love with this place . When I first got here I had so many ingrown nails on my big toes and the back of my feet were horrible, very embarrassing, but I just couldn’t find a place that understood what I needed. Once I got in I didn’t have to tell her anything, she fixed my feet and knew exactly what I was feeling. I paid a lot of money but to be honest it was worth it she taught me how to take care of my feet at home and how to do things so it won’t go back to how it was. I recommend this place all the way!!! Also I would consider an appointment, they normally go by appointments and I love it because is only two of them and they don’t over book so you have your own time and your own peace ❤️

Oh Man, the reviews were definitely right. I had decided to try a new nail salon and they really do take the time to explain their their pricing, BEFORE they do anything. That was awesome. Im not much for taking care of my feet but I came in here with my girlfriend and got a pedicure and they genuinely care about your feet. The lady here got on to me for my bad habits lol, but shes very informative about what she does and why. Where do I begin? This lovely couple was amazing!!! Im a single parent of three so I dont get to do much for myself. It has been over a year since Ive gotten a mani/pedi and the last place I went, I wasnt thrilled. I googled nail shops in the area to find my new shop. By golly, I found this gem based on the reviews and Im so happy I did! I got there an hour before they closed hoping they could squeeze me in. I knew I was asking a lot and they accommodated me with no problem. I felt like a princess the whole time! They exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. They are attentive and they care about the health of your nails. I cant wait to go back!!

This nail salon is as close to a “concierge” quality salon as you will ever get. You don’t have to worry about getting a fungus here. They are immaculate in their work and care about your nail and total health. They box your nail care tools in your own container for total elimination of fungus transfer to you from a contaminated nail file used on somebody else. They book your appointment for a time where you are their total focus. They book only 2 clients at a time and provide you a peaceful atmosphere and not a “factory” production line. This is an island of peace and care. These are truly professional people. And, I am glad I have found them. I recommend them highly and without reservations.

I have been coming to this nail salon for about 3 years. I will never go anywhere else. They are very sweet people. Very professional and clean. There’s only 2 technicians so I would recommend calling before you come. They book up fast but they will call you if someone cancels.POST COVID19 RETURN. The staff has stepped up for an amazing return from quarantine. They have added new clear barriers at all the nail stations. This allows for safe socializing but also social distancing. The clients are required to wash and sanitize hands upon entering. Everyone is seated 6ft apart. Again I this is the reason I will not get my nails done anywhere else. The technician care about the safety of their clients and do everything possible for a happy experience. APPOINTMENTS ONLY AT THIS TIME.

I have had my share of nail salons, and this is by far, the BEST experience Ive EVER had... I usually go to another place near by, and I googled and found this one, he told me to come right in, I was politely greeted and he provided me with hand sanitizer and soap to wash my hands and even a bottle of water!!!! He actually gave me conversation while I was getting them done.....it took a little longer than Im used to, but I dont care! was totally worth the wait....I also found out he is 26 years experienced and its only him and his wife that work there, he doesnt like to hire anyone because he says they werent professional.I am overly happy with my nail results and will return for my next set for sure !Looking for a go to ?? The owner Mr. Sin’s attention to detail is phenomenal. I’ve never had someone take such in-depth time, care, and consideration for my nails! You can really tell he cares deeply about his craft and knows it’s an extension of himself!! He takes his work very seriously and strives and achieves perfection! He writes out the price calculations before he begins so you can see the breakdown of each procedure. Then during my full set he would check in with me to ensure that I was happy with how everything was looking. I got my own personal box with a buffer and file! It has my name on it and everything! Just for me! This nail experience was unlike any I’ve ever had! Not only do my nails look amazing, I got an education on how to properly take care of them! I had no idea a place like this existed! After learning they have clients who drive 45minutes to an hour, I am not surprised. If you have foot issues of any kind, you must see Ann!!! She is a wealth of knowledge and truly cares about improving the health of your feet. This husband and wife team treat every customer as an individual and are still attentive to others waiting. Not going back it was night time nails look good and the next day i saw the and it wasn’t what i expected at all and my feet i waned something else and they did what they waned because supposedly i have problems in my nails and the bail polish on my feet are not good .

Ann & Singh were amazing. Singh gave me a perfect gel manicure and Ann not only did a great job on my toes but taught me a ton about skincare ans how to improve my feet at home. Youd never know it from just driving by, but this is by far the best nail salon in the area.

Friday was my first time at blue J and I had the best experience from my hands toe. not only was I told how they could help me achieve getting longer and stronger natural nails but how to care for them at home as well .the shop its self is very clean and welcoming and well ventilated so you dont smell the harsh acrylic and paint odors. Drove all the way here because it had such good reviews and they denied me services claiming they were busy and about to close when they close at 8 and it’s 6pm. No one was waiting and a lady was getting her nails painted while another lady was getting her toes done. Not black people friendly!

Best nail salon I’ve been to in a while. The owners are very nice and actually show you how to take care and clean your nails and toes. They give you a drink if your thirsty and some snacks when your feeling peckish. And they give you your own container with your own personalized tools. They take their time and really make you feel special.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. it is a mom and pop business so it has a very homey vibe to it. i got a pedicure and she was very friendly and gentle. i have some issues with ingrown nails and she gave me tips and advice on how to treat it and recommended products for me to use. i’ve never had such an informational pedicure before. they really show they care about their customers and took time to make sure i was happy and taken care of. i will definitely be going back!

Just went for the first time and was very impressed. They asked multiple times if I liked the results as they went and made sure that it wasnt painful. The stylists were social and polite and offered free water and chips. The prices were reasonable ($25 for a gel manicure).

I am a nurse so I am not allowed to have acrylic nails but I have allowed her husband to do gel on my nails before and he was always so gentle and made them look perfect. Anh is the female nail tech here and she is amazing. I have ingrown toe nails but no one has ever taken the amount of time and care to help my toes breath and heal. I had a stubborn dry blood spot under my toe that no other shop could get rid of, since they would just paint over it. She got it out on my second visit. My toes are still a work in progress but they look so much healthier and Anh explains whats going on with them so I know how to take better care of them at home. Highly recommend you come here.

This place is a hidden treasure with husband and wife crown jewels. Mrs. Anne is a patient marvel, so good with ingrown toenail issues. She genuinely cares about your nail health, I have never been anywhere where the technician took the time to explain to me what the best way to care for my nails was. That is, never before Mrs. Anne. Her husband is a patient fingernail technician, he aims to please and will continuously check in to make sure the nails are to your satisfaction. I discovered this gem of a place a few months back and will never go anywhere else. Mrs. Ann really takes the time to educate you on how to take care of your feet and I used to have to gel on my toes nails or they would mess up 5 minutes after walking out the door but she said why pay more for gel when I can do her way and be just as good, needless to say I was sceptical but tried it anyway and so glad I did! Ok if I could give them no stars I would. My two daughters came in for a full set. Now pricing was good $30 for full set. But the owner didn’t tell my daughters that he was the only one doing nails and his wife was doing pedicures. So a 2 hours later I still waiting. I go in to see what’s taking so long. The owner was rude saying he didn’t know they had to be done by a certain time. So what I tried to explain was if you only have 2 people working and 4 customers than it’s only right that you say something to the customers. So you are rushing to get there nails done. I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years and I have never had a bad experience like this.

I just moved to Brandon, I was getting to know my neighborhood and walked into Blue J where the kindest, sweetest most knowledgable woman Ann greeted me. Thankfully someone had cancelled so I was able to grab a chair! The regulars, were all chatting and friendly. I decided to treat myself to a full set and a pedicure. We discovered that I was very close to two ingrown toe nails, and on the verge of a little infection. This explained the pain I was having while wearing tennis shoes. One of her clients was “nursed” back from a serious infection and shared her story with me. A friendly reminder to all that just because they look good doesn’t mean they are healthy. I’ve found my forever home here at Blue J. So thankful for opening this door!

This couple is a gift from God. They have given me hope of having the health of my nails restored. My toe nail was removed by a doctor about a year and a half ago and it didnt grow back. They are working with me to get my cuticle and nail bed cleaned up. In just four visits I have seen a difference in my nail and I have great hope that my nail will grow back. Amazing ! They went above and beyond with me. Ann is super knowledgeable about feet and definitely informed me of how to better take care of my feet. She spoke with me the entire time! Her husband was super sweet and definitely fit me into there busy busy day haha. I’ll be back for sure !

A bit of a wait. A long time for a mani pedi. So worth it! The husband and wife couple are amazing. Kind, funny and informative. They take their time & they pay attention to the details. They are amazing at their craft and they listened to what I wanted done. I will be back!!!

I recently moved to Florida last year and this was my first nail shop I tried and the rest is HISTORY!! I really love them because they are very caring and friendly!! They also take their time to make sure the service is done well and they are very gentle with your feet and hands!!! The spa is very clean and pleasant!!! If you are looking for a real pedicure and need treatment with your heels or toes, Ms. Anh will definitely get your feet back to a healthy state. She will tell you how to treat your feet to prevent any future issues! I love Mr. Sinh’s gel nail technique which last 3-4 weeks for me without a fill-in. They have really made my nails very healthy and strong since I have allowed them to care for them!!! They will make sure that you are happy with their services before you walk out the door!! If you enjoy being treated special and pampered without rushed services, then this is definitely the place to go!!!
