I love this gym! I just joined a few weeks ago but I am completely in love with that hot tub/cooling pool! I have never seen a cooling pool and it is amazing. Chris is so nice. The second time I was there, he was wiping off all the water around the hot tub and took the time to talk with me and my husband, welcoming us both to the gym, gave us both fist bumps. The next time I was there, Chris remembered my name and gave me another fist bump. Everyone I have met there has been so wonderful. But seriously, check out the pool/hot tub/cooling pool! Its amazing!!!

My 15yo son had been asking for a gym membership, but I hadnt any time to join him. We reached out to Lyft Gym and found out that he could have his own membership. Over the summer he recruited 2 other friends to join him, and now they have a Monday-Friday early morning routine that leads to 40-60 minutes of workout followed by 40-60 minutes reward time of either basketball or swim/hot tub. I LOVE that he and his friends have started to be responsible for their health and building this into their schedule at this age.While being there, they have found community and opportunities to try new workouts. The staff has been great. Facilities are clean and maintained. Post-workout shakes are tasty. All-around great gym.

Its a very nice gym with pleasant people and coaches available. The equipment is exceptionally nice and they have an Olympic sized pool that is just deep enough most adults above 5ft can touch bottom yet still have head above water. They have a nice hot tub and a cold water shock pool as well as saunas in both men and women dressing lockers and also a community sauna by the pool and hot tub that uses a slight hint of eucalyptus oil in the steam bath. The membership is a bit spendy though.

I just moved here from Southern California. This gym has anything you could ever want to make your routine. The gym is always clean and I love the fact that they dont blast thier own music. I dont always like to wear the earbuds but I appreciate the fact they dont force thier musical tastes on me. The personal trainer Kris is awesome as well. This is a serious gym with serious equipment but they dont have an attitude and they make all feel welcome. But those stairs out front are something else. But it is an awesome gym with everything for everyone.

I found this facility listed as a benefit of my United Health plan. It is great place for seniors to use our Silver Sneakers health fitness benefit with equipment and class availability to fit anyones schedule. There are many classes available with more classes being added as membership returns to normal. The low impact water arobics are my favorite.This is an excellent family owned and operated fitness facility and the staff is both courteous and helpful. Ive recommended this facility to friends who have taken advantage of the 3 day guest pass before joining. Highly recommended🤗

Wanted to check out a gym preferably one close to my home and with a sauna because all I do at the gym is the elliptical machine and sauna.. I spoke with Chris I am hoping he was just having a bad day because a 5 year old could be more help than he was. I don’t have access to online I wanted to know the different price options and it was pulling teeth. I asked what memberships he had how much it was and I get “they’re online” ok. Is your sauna open? “Oh yeah” ok. Can you maybe go over some package details and more information about your gym? “It’s all online.” Ok. If I found online helpful I wouldn’t be calling now would I? Y’all are 5 min away from me. Thank you for the non existent help. 🙄🙄

Go and enjoy your work out but because of the pandemic you have to clean as you go. With that said theres a disabled entrance with a elevator to the main floor they treat me as a person and they have steps too

Pretty tired of our governor flipping the switch and making it Even harder on small businesses. When our governor allows us to work out I see people walking around cleaning and sanitizing yet I can go to Costco or Safeway and see LOTS of people all over. I dont see anyone cleaning and sanitizing at Safeway or Costco. There is no real plan in place to save our small businesses from this pandemic. Im already seeing empty buildings in downtown Gresham popping up. Shutndown the gyms and shutdown the mental help facilities, great idea! We are in trouble.

Great gym! I have tried all of the local gyms and this one is my favorite hands down!

I have been looking for a gym in the area for awhile and was so glad I finally pulled the trigger with Olympic Gym about a month ago. It had all the boxes I needed to check off: Pool, a variety of group classes, cardio machines, weight room, open long hours, safe neighborhood, attentive staff - to name a few.I have been to several different classes to see what I like and have had fun ( but worked hard!) in all of them. So far I have tried Boxing Fitness, Aqua Boxing, Yoga for Everybody, Foam Rolling and Aqua Fit. The employees & instructors are very attentive & patient and the owner, Chris, makes me feel like family every time I come in.I love the pool and slower paced classes to supplement my physical therapy for the injuries I have, but love to go as hard as I can in the more intense classes too.Overall, Im really happy with Olympic Gym!

Going to a new gym can be intimidating but everyone has been very welcoming there.

Perfect gym for the workout enthusiast. They have almost anything workout related equipment you can imagine. They have a juice bar and coolers with energy and pre/post workout drinks for purchase. And the staff is very friendly.

Sick equipment, sick distancing, great staff. Switched from 24 hour fitness and have never regretted.

Was lied to about the type of membership I was buying. I talked with the manager, Chris, over multiple visits about a single month membership and paid for the month. I was lied to about being able to cancel at any time and now have to buy another month before being able to cancel. They have 30 day cancelation periods that I was unaware of as well, so watch out for that, as I was almost charged a yearly fee as well. Wonderful gym, lots of weight options! But be weary when working with staff and when purchasing a membership. Just feels sketchy- as this was something they could have fixed for me as the fault was on their end, but they decided to take the money instead.

Been coming here for many years and they just recently updated the gym and have made it a lot more modern in the last 3 months. place looks really nice and has good machines and weights!

We joined about 8 months ago. They have been helpful and so polite. We have a grand child visit in the summer and are easily able to add her while she is here and take her off with a very reasonable fee.

What a gem! This place has everything - large steam room, saunas (in both dressing rooms), deep hot tub, three lane lap pool... Both of which are on a salt water system! Tons of machines, yoga classes, fitness classes, everything included with the monthly price. Which is a steal - $35-39 a month depending on whether you get on a contract, (totally up to you) and a second person can be added for $30 a month. Our registration process was quick and easy, and the staff has all been friendly and helpful. Its quiet and relaxed here, and has a nice neighborhood vibe as opposed to the intensity of the big chain gyms. Do yourself a favor and start coming here, even if just to hang out in the hot tub and steam room... You might find you end up working out while youre there. ;)A heads up that they do offer a free 3 day trial, but only to residents of the area. You’ll need to have a drivers license or bring a piece of mail with a local address for that. Otherwise they do have a day pass if you just want to check it out- I believe its $10.

Literally the best gym in town!! They have a killer deal and the people are amazing! Honestly cannot rave enough about this place, its just everything you could want in a gym...smoothie bar, yoga studio, salt water pool, hot tub AND ice tub, steam room, saunas in the locker rooms, tanning beds...they even have affordable childcare!!!

It took my a long time to feel comfortable leaving my small children in any type of child care- but something clicked here at Lyft. They have great staff in the kids room and monitors if you want to check in on them. Mom needed a healthy break and a place to relax- I can’t believe it took us so long- I love the facility and staff the whole place is fantastic!!! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Just signed up here with my roommate because it’s the closest gym to us and we loved the vibe. We aren’t body builders just regular people with our own personal fitness goals but felt super welcomed here.

Pure quality, this gym is absolutely amazing. It features a wonderful smoothie bar; tons of flavors to choose from. Its totally spacious with a large swimming pool, hot tub, benches, squat racks, a huge cardio section, free weights, weight machines, and more; youll never have to wait for anything. Its exceptionally clean and the staff members are top notch.

I joined the gym because my dad and my good friend go there. I thought the price was high, but gave it a go because I wanted to workout with my friend and my dad. First day I joined I worked out.. the treadmill I picked was broken. Still I stayed because I have an open mind. I quickly had my son join, and we started to go. Numerous times the treadmills wouldn’t work. The last time I went in we got on an elliptical and it started making a loud noise.. we got off and used the treadmills from the 90s before we left. I emailed about having a training session with a trainer a few weeks later and got no response. Did it again, no response. I finally had to call!! And the front desk girl told me they were currently looking for a new trainer and I would be put on a waiting list... that was enough for me to cancel my 70 dollar a month membership (literally is the most I’ve spent in my life for a gym). To top it off I needed a copy of my sons membership. I emailed and surprisingly I got an email back within a few days.. but they sent me a copy of my membership!!!I quickly emailed back so I wouldn’t have to wait another week for a response and got nothing. It’s been a week now.. soo annoyed not worth what you pay. Not sure why it has such good ratings.. the machines are all outdated. Do research before you join this gym.

So much better then the cookie cutter gyms like crunch and the like. These people remember your name and are so helpful with anything me or my guests needed they def go above and beyond. clean weight piles the gym doesnt smell like a jock strap and an amazing pool 10/10 am and would recommend to my friends and family

Decent staff (friendly) but the guy on hand couldnt help me with the machines. I had to figure out on my own. And he was by himself so any questions I had were difficult to ask because he was being pulled in too many directions. Facilities were decent. Not very clean and outdated.

Clean gym. Unfortunately I had to move and cancel my membership here. I spoke with someone who turned out to be a new hire, so my membership never actually got cancelled. I worked with Chris and Julie to get everything fixed and they were very quick and friendly to work with. Great people and fantastic customer service. I would definitelyrecommend this gym if youre in the area.

This is my therapy! My second home! The staff love their job and are amazingly friendly to every person top stop foot in the door! I refer people to come here all the time! The equipment is in great condition and the lay out of each floor is easy to understand. I LOVE the sauna and hot tub they offer!

Love it here. They have FANTASTIC hours so I can go almost anytime I want. Their pool is wonderful and as long as you dont go during open family swim it is usually peaceful and great for swimming laps. No one looks at you funny for not being the fit person and the staff is always friendly.

I have a gripe about most commercial gyms (cheap equipment, too many tvs, music i cant groove with). Lyft has a good mix of old school and modern workout options. I love that the weight room isnt cluttered with TVs and the music (mostly rock), isnt blaring. Great environment to get in and work hard around friendly people.

Very good gym. Amazing staff and trainers, big selection of types of workouts, everything from swimming to boxing to weight machines, and so much more. Really nice sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, etc. I could go on and on this place is great.

Ive only been here once so far, but Im looking forward to making this my gym. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is down to earth, and the facility has everything I could ask for. I especially liked the heated saltwater swimming pool, the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and ice plunge. I havent found an ice plunge in any of the spas in Portland. Be sure to check this place out!

Ive been remiss in writing a review for this gym. Before joining Olympic I had never belonged to a gym in my life and wasnt quite sure what to expect. I did a lot of research on 3-4 gyms in the area before deciding on Olympic. Some of the other facilities were incredibly crowded and a bit too sterile and corporate for my taste. And I was looking for a gym with child care that I felt good about so that I wouldnt feel guilty about taking my 2.5 year old daughter along to the gym with me.I wasnt terribly happy with the other gyms that I had looked at, so I decided to call this small little gym in Gresham. When I first called Olympic, a woman named Nicky picked up the phone. And unlike every other gym I had spoken to, Nicky seemed genuinely interested in talking to me. She patiently answered all of my (multiple) questions about childcare, which included pricing (something I found other gyms refused to share unless they could twist my arm in person).That first call with Nicky got me to the gym for the first time, where I was greeted by Chris who, again, showed a genuine interest in understanding what I was looking for in a gym. There was zero pressure, he spent an amazing amount of time giving me a tour of the facility and telling me about all of the offerings.I was particularly pleased with the flat monthly child care fee, which has saved me a lot of money and made it possible (even easy) for me to work out while still caring for my daughter).I joined the next day, and this personal treatment that I received from day one has absolutely continued.I even got a free personal training session. There was no pressure to sign up for anything more, but the information I was given was incredibly useful in understanding how to exercise right and create a routine that worked for me and my goals. This gym has a lot of options that are tailored for people with all types of schedules and needs - theres a lot of flexibility and no judgment.My daughter loves the day care program (almost as much as she loves the family swim time at the pool which we take advantage of several times a week). On gym days my daughter wakes up saying Lets go see Shannon today! (Shannons one of the child care providers at the gym) and she has made several little friends at day care that she enjoys playing with.For me, the classes are great and Ive explored new things like aqua fit classes in the pool and a foam roller stretch class, which I feel have relieved a lot of muscle tension and pain that I was previously happening.I like the fact that they actively ask for feedback about classes and other aspects of the gym. The owners and managers are very accessible and appreciative of your feedback, Theres also a cool app they have for your phone that makes it easy to provide feedback, see the class schedules, and more.The gym is never crowded, I never have to wait for machines. The people are friendly, and it has kept me coming back - a big reason for the almost 15 pounds Ive lost since joining about two months ago.Im often in there in the mornings with my daughter, but occasionally come in late at night too - I love the 24 hour schedule during the week which lets me come into the gym on my own schedule.My wife realized how well this was working for me and my daughter and shes a member now too. Joining Olympic Gym was one of the best decisions Ive made for me and my family in a very long time.

Might be an older gym but the team there has excellent service is the best. The managers and their staff always greet us and its clear their thankful for you business. The prices are reasonable too.

My fiance and I joined recently on a family membership plan, and Olympic Gym has been excellent so far! I have never felt uncomfortable, but welcomed instead. There is every piece of equipment you could wish for and plenty of space. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I cant imagine going to a franchise gym again at this point. Ive just loved the sense of community this gym has to offer. Additionally, the great pool, steam room, and sauna are my favorite end to a workout. I just dont know how I lived without this relaxation before now.

I always get a warm greeting as soon as I walk in! Everyone there is so nice, so thank you for all that you guys do. The facility is always clean, and the environment is very comfortable. I’ve never had a bad experience!

Large facility. Friendly staff. Easy to use and fun app, earn points toward rewards. Classes that come with membership are challenging and instructors are great. Pool and hot tub are comfortable. Steam room can be nice if you know the tricks to amplify the steam. (Spray steam pipe to kick it on, use towel as fan to draw down steam.) Cold pool also available. Plenty of lockers. Saunas in locker rooms. Machines I use are always available when I go.

The staff are wonderful, accommodating, and pleasant. The pool is warm salt water, the temperature just right to swim in. The facility is kept clean and updated. The classes for Silver Sneakers are great.The grandsons love Family Swim too. Thanks for all you do to give us a pleasant experience at Olympic Gym.

Old school vibes

All the workers here are very nice. Single membership price is reasonable, 2nd person is a bit more expensive than some gyms, but considering these guys have a saltwater pool and jacuzzi I think its worth it.Team training is extra per month but dear God itll whip you into shape pretty quick.Highly recommend this gym as it is rarely full, staff is great, equipment is up to date and in good condition and theres a pool/jacuzzi/steam room!

Friendly full service gym. Pretty big on the inside with lots equipment to choose from. Nice swimming pool downstairs. They have lots of classes though I haven’t tried one yet. They have tanning beds and a nice smoothie bar. The staff is friendly and make everyone feel welcome.

Clean. Well kept up. All of newest machinery. Helpful patient kind staff and owners. Salt water hot tub, pool, n dry n wet saunas. The best! 10 stars. And there is a reflexologist who will pamper massage your feet for $35 for an Hour. And uses DoTerra oils. Yes!

While staff at the facility itself are helpful and understanding they outsource payments to another company in Arkansas for payments and membership fees. I have tried to have my kids removed for several months which I did get a credit for but then they are still not removed and I am still getting charged. We started service in June 2016. I called ABC financials that manage their memberships to cancel I was told I have to pay through July and that it was written in my contract that year started when my first auto pay was received...so frustrating. In addition apparently I was enrolled in Auto Annual Renewal...which I have to send a written letter to ABC to have removed. MAKE SURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT OF YOUR CONTRACT!

This is the kind of gym that goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. If you are looking for a family feel, instead of a corporate environment, then this is the place for you. It is a family owned business. They really care about their members and the staff seem happy to be there...that goes a long way.

Great gym! Ive been going for a while now and I love the place. They have a variety of equipment to work with and the gym is more spacious.

Friendly staff. Never crowded at 5am when i work out. Some of the equipment is pretty old but they are upgrading slowly. Would recomend someone to go here for sure!

This is a great gym. It has a good lap pool, basketball courts, spinning, and a good weight room.Also, and most important to me, it is locally and family owned and run. It is a great place to get fit and feel good.

My L.A. Fitness gym is under construction so I am trying to use this as an opportunity to check out other gyms. I will not be switching to this gym. Some Equipment is a little inefficient to modem standards and my lift was effected. That said, they have better Olympic lifting equipment than other gyms are likely to have. And their cardio area has some really cool toys. I would give them 3 starts except for one major flaw that I take to be a sign of bigger issues, the sauna is set to 160°... Ive never seen one that low, I try to get closer to 220°. It shows me they are willing to cut customer experience to save some expenses.

A family friendly gym that has all the equipment available for great workouts. They also amazing classes with fabulous instructors.

This is by far the worst gym in the world!!!!I worked out there twice and I got sued for 300 bucks because I never came in and gave them a written note why I was cancelingLet me remind you I was on a month-to-month agreement I never signed a contract or anything! The equipment is completely outdated and the reason I never went back was because the lady that worked in the daycare center brought her son to work. And he was all up in my daughters face she was under 2 years old and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable! I reported them to the BBB!
