I have been seeing a different nail tech for 3 years however she is out sick so i saw discover nails looked like it would be okay. I was wrong. The lady doing my nails, Tina was rushing on my fill and you can tell because I didnt want any designs or anything crazy she just wanted me up and out of there. I went in wanting a certain design but when she started doing my nails and moving so fast I got nervous the designs would come out bad. Well not all of my nails are a different length and even though I get gel over the acrylic its already chipping off, mind you its been 3 days. Im highly dissatisfied I wish I could just take these off and get my money back.

I’ve been going to Discovery Nails for over a year and I love it. I have a very crazy schedule and they always work with it. I get my nails, feet, lashes and brows done there and they do an amazing job on everything. Definitely going to continue to go there.

Went to prepare for a wedding. Terrible. I felt rushed and not welcomed. The lady who performed my pedicure, Holly cut me deep two times on my toe. I have been applying peroxide and watching it making sure it doesnt get infected. I showed the nail lady a picture of what I wanted and not only did she not do what I asked, she was annoyed the whole time doing it. She did not file down the nails properly, left acrylic on my fingers and didnt clean around my cuticle. This being my first time getting a fullset, I showed my friends and they also agreed it looked messy and rushed. When it came time to pay I did not tip, and she announced it like I was being cheap. After spending over a hundred dollars on a pedicure and fullset nails, I will never go back to them. This was my first time getting false nails and they made it a horrible experience.

Price was not same as price quoted. Did not provide service I requested because the price more than doubled after he was almost done, so I had to finish it. My sister and I both ended up getting the same thing done and I was charged $5 more. My sister ended up with an amazing tech. I ended up with a joke.My husband and brother in law got pedicures. They both requested same package. My husband didnt get half of what my brother in law did and was charged more. They had different techs do their pedicures. One was rude and did poor job. The other was fantastic.Explanation given was that the techs were independent contractors, and can charge different amounts. Well, that shouldve been told to me when I asked the price.This place was total scam and I would never use them again.

The techs make up any price that they want to charge you, i’ve been twice and have gotten the same service both times and was charged different prices both times . They tried to add extra charges for services that i did not ask for nor receive . Tina also always has a bad attitude, the first time i went i told her i would wait for another nail lady whom i was recommended and she rudely told me “you could have gotten them done faster with me, but since you want her now you have to wait “ . She filed my cuticles so low that i was bleeding which she saw and continued to do . I will not be back . Other nail techs have complained to me about Tina . she’s seems to be a consistent problem

Nhi is AMAZING!!! I will NEVER go somewhere else. The entire staff is attentive and does an incredible job every single time. My nails last over a month and I’m a server (that says something). My nails are always straight and better than the picture I came in with. They all pay real good attention to detail and have been my main nail place and always will be!! Please get your nails done here!!!!

Did a great job on my grandbabys purple cow nails!

I went there last week to get a full set acrylic nails and a deluxe pedicure. I paid $104 just for the nails to pop off so easily next the day. They popped off without me even really using my hands. I never had nails come off so easily and without any type of pain. Plus because of the way the lady clipped my toenails i ended up with 2 ingrown nails. For the price to be so expensive I expected the acrylic to last for 2 weeks and not have any ingrown nails. I will never go back there again.

Just finished getting my nails done here.....! Romeo used to do my nails years ago when he was at a different location however unfortunately he and his wife moved. I tell no lie when I say NOONE has been able to do my nails as good as him. When I passed by Discover Nails one day and saw he was back it was a very pleasant surprise. I will not let anyone else touch my nails. The service at Discover nails is so nice and professional and everyone is so helpful and I will definitely be returning and recommend Discover Nails.

I had my nails done 3 days ago by the older lady with short hair and since then, 2 of my nails have lifted and come off. I attempted to call but got no answer and I paid $87 plus tip for a fill in and pedicure and I’m very disappointed.

Holly is really nice all the time. She is clean and a great manicurist. Everyone is really nice with me and my mom. I never go to other salon but them. Thank you!!!!

Nails just popped off.. IN 3DAYS$50 for incompetence, horrible place to go, no chat, Didnt ask what I wanted just imposed her style on me even after I spoke up to tell her not to. Too much talking in their language between all of them. Dont care about customers or their trade.

Last minute- went in for a shape up and polish change. Nee was AMAZING! Communicated through the experience to make sure I was satisfied, took time to find the right color and was speedy enough for me to get to work on time. Will definitely be back!

$50 for the crappiest French tips! I waited for an hour even though an appointment then when I said I would come they quickly started on my nails but they were mad and kept cutting even after I told to stop that I would do them at home! I will never ever go back! Save your and time there are 2 other places in the mall a million times better, that’s what get for going somewhere else

The girl that did my nails was extremely inexperienced! All of my nails were pointed up and therefore started breaking off the day after having them done. This was last week. Not a happy customer😒

2 very deep cuts on 2 of my fingers after getting dip nails. Admitted to the situation but only gave me a $10 discount. Very sympathetic but did minimal to salvage the situation. Unfortunately, my experience was not a very pleasant one.

Earlier today, I called Discoverer Nails to make an appointment for eyelashes. I had seen this place in the mall but had never stopped in before now. I must say, that when I walked in they were very professional. The technician took me for service immediately. I have had other nail shops put on my eyelashes, but this shop, by far is the best. They were very friendly and I was very surprised that the technician took time to make sure that the job was done correctly. I think her name is Holly and she did an excellent and professional job. I am glad that I met her today because I will be continued customer.

I went in with my sister for the first time she got a full set and I wanted a pedicure, the pedicure was great! Except for when they charged me $60 I have never been charged so much for both ... they charge for the nail shape and for using the calluses remover on feet. They didn’t tell us that before having it done, every other place I’ve been to they let you know even on the “menu” if it’s extra charge and here they didn’t say a word or have it placed anywhere ! I would NOT come back.

I only came to this salon because I was in a rush to travel and the more plush salon near T Mobile in the mall had been shut down. The young lady who I was assigned to was rude from the beginning. Not outright, but I would think when the cashier assigns you someone you would smile and speak. She seemed to be more concerned with talking and texting and literally thought it was ok to talk on her personal conversation while using sharp objects on my feet. In the age of camera phones, this will be her loss once I post the video. I will not recommend anyone who is used to any level of customer service to visit this place. Before I agreed to service I asked if buffing was included or extra. I was told it was $3 extra which was fine. After she started working she said she was not sure they have buffing equipment AT THE NAIL SALON IN THE MALL

This by far was one of my favorite visits to a nail salon. They were nice and talked to me versus some places that ignore you the whole time. Prices are great too.

Moved to a new area in Brandon and was in search for a new nail salon. I’m very picky and have tried several salons in the area but am happy to say I found a good one! Luz did a great job on my gel manicure and Ann gave a good pedicure. The prices were reasonable and they were fast. I also like that they have a rewards card where you get $10 off after so many visits. Will definitely be back!

I had my nails done by a Holly for the very first time and they were great. On my third visit there I decided to do my nails and customer service was horrible! I waited for three hours, got my lashes done; when it was time for my nails they ALL tried to pass me on to each other! Then I was being ignored and treated as if I was unwanted or was crediting service. Even after I told them out loud I’m never coming back, they showed no remorse. Never again!

This is the worst nail experience of my life!! I decided to try this nail salon out because they are usually empty and my nail salon is always busy and the wait time is usually long; now I know why. The guy did my nails and was very rough. I complained several times but he just kept going. I have wounds all around my toes and worst of all he sprained my small toe. I literally left the salon limping and in so much pain. My feet hurt so much I’m typing this review with my feet in ice water to ease the pain. I can’t believe he dislocated a bone in my toe. Worst of all, I was told $30 in the beginning and then charged $40 at the end. I asked for a French manicure and he did the most botched job I’ve ever seen. And then has the guts to tell me I don’t know what a French manicure looks like. It was so bad I had him take it off and just paint my nails another color. Hopefully my feet feel better tomorrow so I can go to my nail salon for them to fix my nails. Yeah, I’m never cheating on my nail salon ever again. I’ll take the long wait times over this frivolous waste of my time and money.

So the guy with the mole did my nails. Worst decision of my life. So I had a nail repaired he cut it too short then glue the piece back on that he cut. My nails were lifting and he glued them back down instead of cutting them and filling them in. I still foolishly decided to give them another chance and came back again. I had a lady who didnt speak any English so me telling her that she was hurting my fingers she continued to smile at me I had another nail tech tell her that it was hurting and she continue to do the same thing. My hand was on fire for about 4 days I would never go back to that Salon again

The lady that was doing my nails couldn’t care less. She gave no attention to me. When I would speak to her she straight ignored me and I know because she’s having a full conversation with everyone around the room but me who is sitting right in front of her she can’t hear? I don’t think so. I wanted a French mani and pedi but she was just eyeballing it and it was the most uneven and ugly work I’ve seen. She did not care at all I just decided to paint them fully white. When doing my hands some of them looked so bad I asked her if she could fix them. Her “fixing them” was just patch work I had a bump on my nails from it. So ugly. I asked her again to just fix them and with all the attitude a person could give she redid it. I swear the entire time she just wanted me to leave. I understand it was near closing but I am paying for this service and expect it done correctly. Not some rush work and being pushed around. To top it off upon paying she watched expecting a tip? That was just plain bad and rude. Never coming here again.

Update: I went back in to get my nails fixed, and when i walk in i tell the manager that i want them fixed because the lady did a sloppy job and all she says is I remember you and leaves me standing there. When i sit down the lady who fixed my nails was the same as the day prior. She was extremely rude once again to me, and did another sloppy job. As she was doing them she points at my friend standing next to me and yells you need to go over there and sit down multiple times!! Then she was not even gonna give me a top coat until I said something about it. When a different worker came over to give me a top coat because she didnt want to, he looked at my nails and literally said Oh god Im sorry

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Poor quality work. Dirty shop, rude staff. This lady had the audacity to raise her voice at me after I told her she should have cleared any additional charges with me THE PARENT before adding on anything to my daughters acrylic set. She used the communication barrier as an excuse to overcharge a child. We may have been less frustrated about paying the price if the work had even been worth it.

Lady was rushed all the while place was empty. My pedicure came out half assed. A Spanish lady took care of my moms pedicure and did an amazing job though. My feet on the other hand look like a toddler did them.

I will never go back to this place!!! I first sat down and told the lady I wanted a fill with regular polish. She then proceeds to bring over the gel colors and keeps saying “ten dollar more” and being rude for the entire time she’s doing my nails up until it came time for the polish! Im a college student, I wasn’t looking to pay 40+ for a FILL when every place I’ve ever went it’s only thirty total. I kept telling her no but she was so persistent and wouldn’t shut up about it. She then tells me multiple different prices and charges me three dollars to drill my nails and five to cut them (which took five seconds) and then she tells me one price then changed it and makes me pay in the middle of her doing my nails and charges me more than she said. She was extremely rude, and on top of that my nails look horrid. They’re goopy and uneven. The polish is in my cuticles and she cut me with the dirty used file multiple times. I’m disgusted with thier terrible service and job they did, I’ve never had an experience like that.

I went in to get my nails done and I’m originally from the Brandon area and I am here on vacation. So I went in and it was a bad experience from start to when I ended it. They were rude and acting like they didn’t want an actual guest in the salon. I should have walked out then. But I didn’t giving the benefit of the doubt. Then we sit down to do the nails and I fumbled on words a bit asking for the tips but meaning a full set and I get an eye roll. But okay that’s my bad I misspoke it happens. Then when she started putting the tips on she put the glue on the tip then put the tips on my fingers and started BLOWING on my fingers which is very unsanitary and disgusting. She did that for all ten fingers then started making a throat clearing sound which distributed me making me think she had just gotten over a cold or getting over one. Then she begins to file the nails and file so hard on my ring finger it slices through the skin on my finger. Then proceeded to blow on my finger once again. At that point I pulled my hands away and told them I would pay for the tips and wash my hands and leave. These practices were very unsanitary and disgusting I was shaking and so angry. The only saving grace is they understood they messed up and did not charge me. I promptly left and went to another salon to get my nails actually done. Please if you T the salon read this stop blowing on people and slow down when filing. But I will not ever be back.

Im normally not picky when it comes to nails salons, but I wont be coming back to this place ever. When I got there I was told to sit in a chair, I waited about 10 minutes before a the nail tech came, and when he sat down she opened a bag of chips and started eating right in front of me and completely ignored that I was sitting there. She also burned my skin with a file, and cut my fingers and I ended up bleeding. She did a sloppy job and I didnt realize until I got home that my nails were not even the same length, and she was not friendly.

I will not be back I got my nails done over 2 months ago. I wanted just my toes painted and and acrylic full set of nails. I usually stick with my one place but I gave this place a try. I couldn’t get the nails off for 2 months I tried and tried again and still could not get them to come off my nails are basically ruined from the drill and then going to far down. I’m in so much pain my nails hurt so bad. I will NEVER come back here! Also they try really hard to rush you if your looking for a relaxing time and to sit and relax while you get your nails done DONT COME HERE! They try to get people in and out .. I had one person doing my toes and another lady doing my acrylics at the same time and I had one pulling me one direction and the other pulling me another.

Staff was friendly but my nails keep chipping. I purchased the dipping powder in french and paid $40. I weny back 3 times because my nails kept chipping. This last time i was there for an hour redoing my nails and a few days later my nails chipped again. I dont have time to keep going back I dont understand why nails that should last 3 weeks keep chipping

I was walking by this salon Monday on my way to have lunch and witness a very messy situations. I watched everything and I think the owner who had a client in front of her began to yell at this younger lady, who look she was collecting her items. Honestly, the owner should have a little bit of class being that shes is in the front, has a client in front of her, and it seem like there was more clients inside. Aside from that I also witness the owner stealing her phone as well...
