Katie Pape at Roffi Salon is truly an artist when it comes to all things hair related. She literally does it all! She has been coloring my hair now for over a decade and theres no one else I would want doing it. Katie is also phenomenal at styling hair for weddings and special events- she did my hair for my wedding and several members of the bridal party and they all looked gorgeous. Katie is also a great human being who is invested in her clients as well. I can’t recommend Katie enough!

Kate G did an incredible job on my hair—to say Im happy is an understatement. I have difficult bangs and she layered them perfectly and added amazing volume to my hair, and added balayage that looks so natural. Definitely earned herself a lifetime customer!

Ive now been going to the Roffi Salon for the past three years and Susanne does both my color and cuts. I am so glad that I have found her. She is a master colorist and hair stylist. I really cant say enough about her except to say that I wouldnt go to anyone else. My hair is not the easiest, yet she is able to provide a style that I can work with, unlike so many other salons that I had tried over the years. She really cares about her clients.The salon itself is a pleasure as well with artists work adorning the walls, music at a comfortable volume, plenty of coffee and tea and a hospitable owner. Its a lovely respite to whatever kind of day I am having.

I love Roffi Salon & Day Spa. I have been a client of Michael Roffi for 35 plus years. I feel as though I have grown with his entire staff. The Roffi Salon is a very professional yet fun. From long hair to short hair, from straight to curly and colored I have tried it all and have never been disappointed. I cannot say enough about this salon other than if you have never been, you do not know what you are missing. One of my sisters travels from Rowley to have her hair cut by Tommy, as she feels that he is the only hairdresser she has found that cuts her hair the way she likes it and is able to manage it between cuts.

I’ve been going to Roffi for several years now and have seen two stylists. Both have been kind, professional, and always accomplish the look/color I am going for (usually some variation of platinum blonde). Compared to other places I have been they are affordable AND talented. I have no plans to go elsewhere any time soon!

Have been going to Brittni for about a year now at Roffi, and I can honestly say its one of the most consistently good haircuts Ive had. The salon itself is very nice, occupying the second and third floors of a Newbury St. brownstone. They have most of the usual comfort items youd like to see at a downtown Boston salon; water, coffee, comfortable seating, etc. The prices are about what you would expect for downtown Boston, if not even slightly lower. The salon is often very active, but I never feel over-crowded, and appointments are rarely, if ever, running behind. But in the end, the salon is only as good as the stylists, and Brittni has been fantastic, I would recommend to anyone (my wife has been going to Brittni for several months now as well).

I have very curly hair and have been trying to find a salon that really understands what to do with it. When I first contacted Roffi Salon I was greeted warmly and was offered a consultation with Brittni. She listened to me and for the first time in years I got the haircut that I envisioned. From the time I arrived to the time I left, my experience was superb. I will definitely return.

I am a 16 year old boy who has been going here since I was 10 and I have never had a bad experience. I always go to Katie when I can, however, when she is away on vacation I am not worried because you have to really be a professional to work here. Everyone always has a smile on their face and is very welcoming. Over the years I have seen many different people through Roffis ... younger boys and girls, older men and women, and everything in between. I go to school in Connecticut and got my hair cut down there once and only once. It was so different there in every way and was not even close to as good. The whole design of Roffi Salon is very nice from the waiting room to all the cutting areas. It is all thoughtfully designed to perfection. If you are looking for a hair cut this is the #1 PLACE IN THE BOSTON AREA TO GO TO!

This is my fan mail review... J. Youre awesome, my favorite and the most sensational stylist ever. And you what you do with my scraggly, dark-rooted locks is incredible. I love how you mix and match my blonds. Im awed by your blow outs and stunning cuts. If we didnt have such good conversations, I might actually read that book I bring along. But truly, its too much fun to sit and giggle in your chair while you make magic with color and scissors and dryer. I guess thats why Ive already booked our time together for the next 12 months. Please try to be less funny, less welcoming, less excellent at your craft so I can have you all to myself. I know this could never happen, though, but it was worth a mention. First review on the internet ever.I was running last minute to my brother’s wedding that was the next day. There were no spaces for me at the usual places I go. Someone at the Roffi got best men’s hairstylist on Boston Magazine so I decided to give them a try.I was handed off to Kacy. I never do this, but I kept getting calls that were very important to answer and she told me to go ahead. My hair isn’t very complicated, but every place I’ve gone I sit and let them do their job and it’s always hit or miss. I took 4 calls during this appointment and Kacy absolutely killed it. I got four compliments before even stepping into the plane, which never happens in the first place. Not only that, but with my hectic flightiness that day, the entire staff including her couldn’t have been kinder. They also offered free touch ups to hold off on another haircut for another couple weeks. Suffice to say, I’ll definitely be coming back calmer and wth no calls to be had.

I have been a devoted customer for over 4 years and the salon is great. Everyone is friendly, the atmosphere is professional and Jay does the most amazing color. Any time you have a question or want advice on style or color, you get honest answers and good results. They truly want to have happy customers and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. The pricing is not outrageous for Newbury Street and when you come back, you always feel welcome and valued.

Definitely my best salon experience in Boston. The atmosphere is lovely and friendly - delicious complimentary coffee and cappuccino, for one - but the services stand out. I went in for a cut, glaze, scalp treatment, and blowout deal they were offering through Gilt City - a GREAT deal off of already very reasonable prices - because I wasnt happy with the way my thick, curly hair was getting cut. My stylist Maria listened carefully to what I wanted, took plenty of time to discuss some ideas and tips (no rushing me through decisions!) and gave me a haircut that is the best Ive had in years. Also, the natural scalp treatment (which I was told one of the stylists concocted herself) is awesome.

First time here yesterday and my experience was amazing! Staff was all extremely friendly and Catherine did an awesome job on my cut. Will definitely be returning for my hair/other services!

Been seeing Maria here for 6 years now. Never have had a bad cut, always leave happy and impressed. Would recommend to anyone, they work with many hair styles and textures with ease.

I have worked with many salons in the Back Bay and Roffi truly has the passion for hair....... I always walk out looking amazing!!!!! 10 stars!!!
