I really enjoyed my experience at this MiniLuxe location because Navneet is FANTASTIC!!!!!! She was not only the sweetest and funniest person, she was incredibly professional and knew exactly every step. I got Gel X for the first time and she walked me through the whole process. She explained the difference between them and acrylics (what I previously got) and she helped me pick my length and shape. She really is fantastic at her job and MiniLuxe is lucky to have her!! I already booked my next appointment with her!

The nail therapist who took care of me, Amy is very gentle. Since I always have ingrown nails she treated very careful and it was done nicely.She’s also very carefully nailed your polish. It was perfectly done.

Best manicure and pedicure - the performance pedicure lasts for weeks and still looks great. The salon is very clean and relaxing and the technicians are friendly and very professional. Would highly recommend.

My nails turned out amazing! Melanie did my nail art, I brought in a picture from Pinterest and she was spot on! I’m in love with my nails! The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was wayyy expensive and in my opinion overpriced. I probably wouldn’t get a pedicure here again bc the pricing is outrageous and no difference than a pedicure anywhere else! But the nail art was worth the price of a little extra!

Reshma did an A+ job with brow waxing/tinting. It really turned around a DIY attempt that well, looked DIY. Brows came out looking polished but natural. She was lovely and Miniluxe has high Covid protection standards .

I didnt really want to like MiniLuxe because Id always tried to support non-chain nail salons. But it really is the best nail salon Ive ever been to. I think its in part due to the high quality of their polishes which I love.

Daisy is the best!! I started with her on the Prudential Center location and when they closed because the pandemic I had bad time to get someone to do my nails as I like, then I find she was there and make my nails happy again. She is nice, friendly and do the best manicure I ever had.

LOVE this location. Anyone who is leaving a review about lack of appointments - this is a popular place, you have to book ahead. They take their time with you and thats why you cant usually just walk in. Nicole does an amazing job with manicures and the front desk staff is always friendly. Its worth it to pay extra and get a clean environment.

Terrible service experience from Sabrina the hostess and Ernesto the technician...I came in, said my name ... without checking which services I’ve booked online, Sabrina straight away asked me to pay ... I refused to do so before receiving the service - turns out I was right! She handed me the colors and left without saying a word ... usually in these cases hostesses offer to sit down and communicate they are getting a technician or something...5 minutes or so later Ernesto sat me down for gel removal ... asked about a color and I mentioned that I wanted French ... he left, without saying a word ...Sabrina comes and says they down have enough time for French ... so I offer to skip massage and get French - the difference between the 2 is just 5 minutes!After a discussion with the hostess, I feel completely not welcomed... as if I was in their way not coming in and paying for service... It sooo much didn’t make sense that even another customer interfered ...So, Sabrina just leaves, Ernesto come back and starts to remove the gel ... both without saying a word.At this point I just want to leave ... all it would take is for the hostess instead of asking to pay upfront is to perhaps check the booked services ... and Communicate!also, if you give it enough time gel removes pretty easy - without taking off layers of nails ... Horrible customer experience. My fiancé and I had just got engaged in the gardens and I ran over to get my nails done. The manager couldn’t accommodate me with an appointment on the spot which was totally fine but when I asked if I could buy a polish and paint them, I was told I needed to sit on the couch (opposed to a table) and couldn’t have an acetone to remove the polish I got on my skin. I go to other locations often and didn’t expect this type of unwelcoming greeting and interaction, especially on such a special day.UPDATE: I have emailed the address that was provided below over a week ago and I haven’t received any response.

There’s a lot to like about Nailluxe at the 31 Newbury location. However a high price tag comes with some high expectations. One of those being a mani I don’t have to fix.Positives:Aesthetic, on point.Super clean and no chemical smells.Covid 19 measures: impeccable: masks, plexiglass, hand sanitizer, hand washing, cleaning after each costumers, rules on being careful of what you touch.Manicurist sanitization: on point, sterile tools and techs wear gloves.Check in: friendly, welcoming.Check out: the staff offers to help with any issues and is understanding.Negatives:On the company: please invest in some matte top coat for your regular polish and more shade ranges of the same color so a gradient can be done across five fingers properly. I shouldn’t own more polishes than the company I’m outsourcing the service to.On my nail tech: I don’t want to name her cause maybe she had an off day.The problems with my mani:1. First layers didn’t dry before the second went on.2. Not all nails were capped properly. Either cap the, or don’t but please don’t do it half way.3. Removed cuticle and skin was left underneath my nails.4. For the love of god please use nail oil after the manicure. My cuticles and fingers were so dry I stoped at cvs for a travel size hand lotion.Check out: I was offered help and to fix the issues at checkout. I declined for time reasons. Also to properly do the manicure and fix the dent issues caused by the first coat not being dry, we would have to do it over again. I choose a dark navy, taking that polish off would cause further drying of my hands and nails due to another round of nail polish remover. In the end it wasn’t worth putting that much effort into fixing it.I do want to emphasize, the overall service was great but my nail tech wasn’t.Nailluxe has multiple nail techs and multiple locations so next time I might have a better experience and a better mani but in the end of the day Boston has multiple nail salons as well.

I am a LuxPass user so I get my nails done very frequently here, sometimes twice a week. It is extremely convenient to book service and Sam at the front desk is a gem. This is my favorite location of them all. The best technicians and service. Very clean, staff is polite, and they respect your time and feedback. Great job!

This is the cleanest nail/pedi place Ive ever been. I have had services with Carolina who is a true artist, had the best manicure of my life with her. When she wasnt available I booked with Vanessa and it was excellent as well, very professional and polite. I come from out of town and I make this a mandatory stop when Im in Boston. I wish this franchise would expand to other cities in the northeast.

I got a gel manicure on Thursday. I’m not even a week out and the edges and bottoms of the nails are starting to pop up and chip. The service was also very brief. I was admittedly 5 minutes late for a 7 pm appointment but it was still done before 7:45. Most gel manicures I’ve gotten elsewhere at a similar price point last at least an hour and the nails are in good shape for at least 2 weeks. Very disappointing for what seems to be a nicer establishment.
