I love Golden Nails in Brooklyn Center! Ive been going to Yvonnie (only) since around January 2021. There are so many different designs and additions to put on your Nails. I believe they carry anything someone is looking for! Yvonnie actually takes the time to get to know her customers. But book an appointment in advance, especially weekends as she is in Very high demand. If you call early in the day you can usually get in same-day. They even do lashes which I have to try! Love this salon. 5☆☆☆☆☆

They were able to get me in for an appointment relatively quickly, within the hour, which was awesome for me since I had a party to attend later that evening. However my gel pedicure lasted maybe one day, and the polish on one of my acrylic nails (also gel) peeled off within a day. I frequently get my nails done and have never had such poor quality. The service is felt rush and looked sloppy. If you have been coming here for a while and you have a person that works for you thats awesome, but if you are hoping to just stop in for a quick touch up I would not recommend this location and would encourage you to find another place to spend your money.

My gf and 2 daughters went there to get their nails done. The service was good and their nails look great (with designs). I paid less than $300.

Lashes on one eye curled up, other eye lashes went straight out . I had them done for a a huge event and it looks stupid. When the technician tried to correct it he pulled out lashes out aggressively. It hurt. Still looks horrible, he told me maybe this is not for me. I got refunded but my eyes are looking horrible. The lashes on the eye that goes straight out rubs my eyeglasses.Should be able to add a picture.Would not ever recommend to have eyelashes done here.😞😞😞. WHY CANT A PICTURE BE SHOWN??????

In and out in 18 mins… $51 for a pedicure. Didn’t touch my legs or calves once - what a joke. In too big of a rush to get stuff done. Don’t go here, it’s a complete waste of time and HUGE waste of money.

This place was great and fast! They only do gel polish and the price was right! Recommended!

They are always well staffed and quick to get walk-ins. I’ve gone 3 times now and never had to wait more than a few minutes.

They are very professional, cordial and they get the job done. The nail technicians are up to date with styles!

Van did an amazing job on my nails and toes she didnt rush and fixed what I wanted fix. I absolutely love this style and this was the first time Ive gotten them done like this before!!

Got a pedicure yesterday and some of my polish smudge. I didn’t have time to go back to the business so I stopped by Golden Nails to get a polish change.I called prior to coming and was told it would be $10. The woman tried to file my feet, I told her I didn’t want a pedicure that they were already filed and I didn’t want them shorter, just wanted a gel polish. She then pulled out a drill to attempt to remove my polish, I let her know it was regular polish and not gel so removal wouldn’t be necessary. After she painted. She checked me out, handed me my card and receipt, and charged me $30 for simply painting my toes.Will be disputing with my bank!!

I called to schedule an appointment for brows and was told that one of their employees would be able to perform the service on the inquired date. Leading up to my appointment I was never informed that the employee would be out. I get to my appointment to find that my appointment was never confirmed and that the employee was unavailable because he was off. The customer service and professionalism regarding the miscommunication was poor. This was such an convenience being that I rearranged my work schedule to be available for this appointment.

I went there today. Tee shaped my almond nails to perfection and my pedicure was great. There clean their checking temps they have shield protectant up for nails and pedicures they’re following the CDC guidelines and that’s the reason why I went there.

They did a nice job. I plan to go back in the future!! After a week I began losing the nails. I dont like to complain but I spent 50.00 on a full set and lost half of them in under 2 weeks. They were nice at first. Not going to be returning.

Hurriedly done and it shows

Went in at 10am for appointment for full set. Was out by 10:25 am. Ive been getting my nails done for over 20 years never once have i had a full set done in less than an hour yet alone less then 30 minutes. Theyre all a bout making money and could care less about the quality of service they provide to you. Not to mention the pricing is sky high!!! I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy! Do not go here.

I came in without an appointment, very fast and detailed work. I would recommend Yvonnie she does an amazing job i was shocked at how well she was working. This is my new favorite nail shop, definitely would recommend 10/10 hands down.

I’ve been going to this nail salon for about 2 years. Van has done my nails every time and not a single set/fill has fallen off or cracked. I also have very sensitive skin to acrylic and she’s always so careful/thoughtful when it comes to protecting my skin around the cuticle. The way they wax eyebrows to applying eyelashes is beautiful, highly recommended!

The place is convenient located near multiple shops. The staff is friendly and do a good with pedicures. The chairs have some wear, but nothing outrageous. I go get pedicures around town, this is a great place for a quick and easy, no nonsense service.

The lady that did my nails did a fantastic job!! Took a lot of time and perfected everything on my nails. Vary happy with this place!!! Definitely would recommend anyone to come here.

Love This Place - Clean and Profession along with quick service

They did a good job in the past but that was 3 years ago. The work was rushed I nearly burned my skin on my feet due to the water being scorching hot. I got a French tip and it was all sloppy and not really on the tip. I don’t plan on ever going back and don’t recommend anyone to go there.

This place does the best eyebrow waxing in town! Never regret going.

My go-to nail salon. I recommend Lynn to do your nails; she is quick, precise and always up-to-date with the nail trend. I would highly recommend everyone to avoid the weekend (Friday - Sunday) since the salon is incredibly busy and nail techs try to get as many clients in in a day. Lynn has warned me about the weekend, but I had to learn it the hard way and I definitely agree to avoid weekend overall.

I was able to get a walk-in pedicure on a Friday afternoon. Chair was comfortable, the nail tech who helped me is obviously experienced and knew what she was doing, and my toes look great! Surprisingly, she did not try to upsell me to a more expensive pedicure, which I appreciated (but probably wouldve taken if it had been offered). My only minor complaint would be that someone had a smoke break out the back door, and the smell blew through the shop (it smelled like someone was next to me smoking.). But, that cleared up quickly enough. I will go back for sure!

I went here for the first time with a six year old and we both got manicures. After trying to up-sell me on the gel polish, they settled us in seats that werent together. I had called ahead of time to ask if they could do two manicures at a certain time and they said to just come in but it was kind of a bummer to not be seated together especially with a child.The technician who did my nails was nice, but the glitter top coat was uneven and started chipping right away. Within 48 there were major chips and three days later they are already completely wrecked.The technician who had the child left her sitting in the chair when they were done and started talking on her phone across from her as if she werent even there.I was instructed to wash my hands with a brush after the first step and the only brush in sight was used (I noticed later that there were drawers in the cabinet that supposedly had clean brushes, but it was not obvious that they were there or that they were available for anyone to use).It just didnt seem very professional and this is the shortest a manicure has ever lasted. Overall a disappointing experience and, with the abundance of options in the area, I wouldnt go back. For reference, I paid $30 for two basic manicures (the child had a couple simple flower designs done on her fingers too).

Yesterday, around 6:23 pm, 10/4/19, I went to Golden nails to get an eyebrow job and a full gel set After my eyebrows were finished, I noticed there was a burning pain below my left eyebrow. She left the wax on my left eyebrow for five seconds. From what I know, it is only suppose to be on there for a second, and it should be snatched off right away. Now I have a burn mark below my left eyebrow. This is not professional at all!! This person should be fired and should not do anyone else’s eyebrows! Very unacceptable!!!

I came in for a walk in. The nail tech was very hurried and payed little attention to what was going on. If a salon cannot fit you in for a well done set then they should not take you. It was sloppy and impersonal. Do not recommend

I usually go right at 10 on a random weekday and Im able to get right in. One of the twins do a really good job with brows. I feel some of the gel polish is lower quality and comes off easier, so choose wisely.

I go to Van, she is a very friendly person and she always do a great job. I love her and I love Golden nails overall.

I’ve been going to Golden nails in Brooklyn Center for15 years on and off. Yvonnie is the best artist and with a dope free style! She also is my go to for eyebrows. Right behind her in the eyebrows and nails is her twin sister, Alina(sp). Newer to the crew, Andy is amazing with false Eye-lashes (clusters) and they are super affordable lasting about 2 weeks!

I was shocked getting in here after 4 pm and was able to be seen right away. But it wasnt really a relaxing place. I literally had two ladies talking over me. Because I was seated directly in between them.

Horrible job! My sister went there and got her nails done for the first time. She came home with bumpy, crooked, different shaped nails! The lady even made her bleed multiple times! My sister is so shy, so she didn’t say anything; she got home and took them off right away. As we call to ask for a refund with pictures and a recipe they continuously said no and accused us of confusing it with another nail shop, even though we had the recipe. Do NOT go there.

I love this place and would give them 5 stars however their prices have went up but not the service and sometimes they rush your job just to get to the next person waiting.

Went in on a Sunday, got a full set and 2 nails have fallen off . Literally just popped off . I opened a door and one popped off . And 2 more you can see are about to pop off too. I Called to complain and no answer .. after calling constantly throughout 8 hrs while I was at work I got an answer .. they didnt care. I feel I deserve a refund or a whole new set . They said they will only fix the nails that have came off so far ... by time I get back there Ill needa whole new set with how easy they are popping off and they want me to pay for that . I had to call back 3 different times to talk to a manager . All in all they are money hungry and dont care about the quality or a satisfied customer . Ill never go back again.

Went there recently I think her name was Thai or something to that nature honestly the nails were rushed and looks horrible at the end, the same day some nail paint has chipped off if you go there do not sit in her chair!!!

Im extremely unsatisfied with my nails. I got them done the 23rd and 3 days later they are peeling and chipping every which a way. First of all I got a basic manicure with my real nails and mood color paint, I was charged $40!! It was busy due to the holiday and when I inquired on the price I was reassured by another tech that the price was right. Now had my nails held up at least a week I wouldnt even complain. But the facts are my nails didnt even hold up 2 days!!! I will be going back to see if this problem can be resolved.

I am new to town and had acrylic on my big toenails and recently had smashed one of them and it had damaged my real nail underneath so i had went to golden nails to get the acrylics fully off and the lady who helped me was so kind she was gentle because I told her my toes were sore and she was answering all my questions about what I should do to get my toenails to grow back.

The service is always excellent and has been for over 15 years I wouldnt recommend it to my mother and everyone who is dear to me and strangers thank you for what you do to make me look better and feel better

My first time there. I had many people telling me how great the place is. I did aryclic with French tip. I am not sure if my nail tech was in a hurry or what but she didnt have me wash and clean my nails until she was done with everything. When I paid for my nails, I told her I didnt have cash and I will give her a tip with my total she refused. I thought that was wierd. My total was $36. Not sure if I will return back. The white tip was too far back, making my nails very bulky. Next time you just have to be picky and pick the right nail tech.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Customer service is horrible, the lady didn’t even do a good job on my pedicure or manicure. I noticed they were talking and laughing at other customers and was extremely rough with me. Take your money elsewhere.
