I had a great experience at American Tire Depot. Mike assisted me and was so helpful, honest, and friendly. I took my wifes car down to have the brakes inspected. It turns out that they were still good! I really appreciated the honesty! So, I went ahead and brought my car in because it needed tires. They replaced all 4 tires in a shorter time then I was expecting. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles back!

American Tire Depot in Yucca Valley is the BEST!!! Both thumbs up to Gary and Mike for their fast installation of four tires I needed on my Jeep Grand Cherokee.My appointment was for 2:00 pm today, I received a call from Gary letting me know my tires were in and I asked him I knew my appointment wasnt until 2:00pm but if I could drop the Jeep off at 11:00 am and he could call me when its ready.My tires were installed by12:30pm. WOW!!!! now thats what I call exceptional service!!!! Thank you again guys for making my tire replacements as easy as pie!!!! And their prices are very reasonable!!!!

Mike and his professional team took care of my car and fit me in so I could have it done by noon. It was done well before noon which I greatly appreciated because I was leaving town and needed to make sure that my car was in good running order. I had an appointment with another Tire Company and the owner told me he didnt have my size tires. The day I scheduled the appt. he told me we have your size tires and we will do the alignment. I only had that day to get my car fixed. I was so upset I got into my car and drove off. I passed America Tire Depot and they were busy. I explained to theemployee what happened to me. He checked my tires said they had them in stock and they would do the Alignment and gave me a discount! Wow! When I picked up my car itlooked good and drives smooth! Dropped my Audi A4 off, was originally quoted a price of $411, for all 4 tires balanced and aligned. Get a call a a hour or so after I drop off my vehicle saying that they quoted me for the wrong size, I say no problem what’s the new total? Somewhere in the $600s I tell them I don’t have the money for all 4 then and I would just like to do 2, they say okay and quote me of a new price of $312. 2 hrs go by and I get another call asking if I want my tires aligned, I’m confused Bc I’m assuming it’s included. I say yes and before I could ask any further questions I was hung up on. So I wait for another call for my vehicle, I get it and I go in to pick it up. The man at the desk told me my total was then $440, I ask how is that possible when I was quoted $ 312 prior, he said it’s for an alignment fee, I was never told there was an extra fee for alignment. I told him that i don’t see how it’s possible i originally planned on getting 4 tires with everything for less money than they are charging me now. He Then tells me i need to call around and find other places that do it. (I did call around. They weren’t my first option ). He continues to be upset and belligerent about how I’m arguing the price, he then calls me “f*cking childish” and then removes the fee. I’m a local here so I don’t know if he thought I was out of town and didn’t know what he was talking about and was trying to put something over me, but either way. I won’t be going back.

The experience with the call-center was horrible. They conveyed wrong and incomplete information to the store, which created some confusion. However, the store experience was amazing. The manager was extremely knowledgeable and was able to quickly correct the mistakes made by the call-center. He was professional, attentive to my needs and explained what I needed to know to make an informed decision.

Went in for an alignment and found out my tie rod was so loose that I would have lost the whole wheel if it had come apart. Very grateful they caught that and got it fixed for me.

Came here because one of my tires developed a slow leak while on vacation at Joshua Tree. The folks at this shop exceeded expectations, fixing the flat for free and doing it in a fraction of the quoted time (less than an hour). They really turned what could have been a major vacation roadblock into a minor speedbump! Grateful for their friendly and efficient service.

Stopped in after I noticed a blister on my tire coming from LA, they proceed to tell me I need 4 new tires, I agree to this offer, I wait for 2hrs, then they tell me that it is impossible to get my tires off because of “cross threading” and doesn’t have anyone to fix today but to come back Monday which we can’t because we are coming from LA, so sends us on our way while doing nothing. I proceed to come across “John’s Garage” (highly recommend) and they easily take the tires off and replace the back two for us for less then half the price per tire that American was selling. So they wasted our time, lied to us, and tried to sell us more tires than necessary. Just don’t go here.

Absolutely fantastic, while I struggled to get me flat tire fixed for the 4th of July weekend at DISCOUNT TIRE YUCCA VALLEY (which ultimately failed me) American tire was there to provide a great service at a speedy time. I’m happy with my tire and I will be visiting them again for anything auto related.

I recently bought 4 new tires here. After my car was pulling strong to the left and two days later I noticed my rear drivers side tire was the wrong size, 195 instead of 205 like the rest. I went back and they did replace it with the correct tire, but my alignment is still off.

Yup I have to agree w the other negative reviews, they dont follow what the promotions say, it says buy 3 get 1 free or $100 off...they only give $50. Im sorry but 1 tire is not $50. plus tell u one thing n do another not to mention make u wait days like u have nothing but time. I even gave an extra $100 for the service. I just want my tires swapped n pay the difference like the guy said. He told me not to drive on the ones I just got so Im stranded. I found the previous order so the difference would be less than $300. I know they just want me to dive on these so I have to buy a whole new set. Did ya know they also offer price match? I dont think they know. Oh well Im going somewhere else. Good luck.

Good luck trying to get work done when you get off work during the week, you’ll spend the rest of your afternoon waiting even if it’s for a simple oil change. Had a couple people get helped immediately after walking into the door meanwhile I’d been here already for 2 hours even after I heard the guy at the desk regurgitate on the phone several times that it’s “first come first serve”I’ll go across the street next time because waiting 5 hours for a simple tire rotation and an alignment check is unacceptable.

Started off a little rough, when I called the local number I was routed to a call center. The lady on the phone was painfully scripted and could not accept the fact that I needed cargo rated tires. She went ahead and ordered the tires and had them sent to the store. As soon as I showed up and explained the situation, Gary knew we had the wrong tires. Gary then worked his magic to install tires they had in stock at a discounted rate due to the mix-up. The service tech was Drew, Drews the man! He balanced professionalism and personalism perfectly.Thank you so much for the service, was very fast and I am extremely satisfied. If I see either either of you guys in town and off of work, I am buying the beer!Edit: Went back here the other day to get another one of my cars set up. The old man at the desk was extremely rude. I went in for a tire patch they tell me I need a new tire, ok cool. I ask if they have the same brand I am told they do, so I go ahead and pay the $300 for 2 new tires and when they give my car back the tires look gross, they did not clean them off at all after installing and they were NOT the same tire brand. I retract my 5 star review and replace it with a 2.

Maybe I caught them on an off day. Idk. I came at 1pm, and didnt leave till 4:30. I dont mind waiting at all. Thats not my issue.My issue was the blatant lack of consideration for my car. I just detailed the whole outside myself. I come outside to see my gas cap is open with no explanation other than They mustve pushed the button wrong or bumped it., grease hand prints on my door from the top all the way down to the middle, grease and oil on my steering wheel, shifter, lever for the seat, and deeply embedded into my carpet. And my seat completely messed with.If youre going to charge me for a service, return my car back to its original state. I get you guys are busy, but be cognisant of an obviously clean car.

I was going across the street to the “other Tire place” But a couple of my friends steered me around the other way and said you’ll be much happier here and they weren’t wrong about that I’ll let you know how my tires turn out I trust that I’ll be happy though

The guys here are awesome! I typically go down the hill to another company that I have used since I was 17. Mike said he was going to earn my business and beat my usual companies price. They had my Armada in and out a lot faster than I expected, called me and stayed on top of things. They checked my brakes and rotors as well, making sure the vehicle was road safe. Took a leaky tire in for repair and the work was done well, quickly, and free of charge. Unfortunately, after mounting the wheel, I noticed another tire was leaking and it had damage that could not be fixed. The tires had over 50K miles on them so I got four new tires at an excellent price. Nice job fellas!

I had ordered tires from a online vendor and had them shipped to American Tire Depot. As soon as they had been delivered the staff there was quick to get me in and get them on my vehicle. My only issue with my visit was that someone closed out my service order after they got my tires and before contacting me or putting them on, which shouldn’t have happened but the young man who helped me was quick to fix it! The wait was a bit long but I understand they are busy. I also had some plastic with tape and a few bolts in it stuck to the inside of my tire (I’m guessing it was on the ground and when they pulled out they ran it over and it stuck to my tires(no big deal) but when I drove away the noise it made was very alarming at first until I figured out what it was. All in all they were efficient and pleasant to deal with.

This is my second time purchasing tires at this location and they always go out of their way to make the customer happy. Support your local businesses and if you need tires, ask for Mike. Extremely friendly. I will be doing all my business at this location.

I was visiting Joshua tree for the day and on the way back, my tire light turned on. I was nervous because it was late, so I tried calling American tire depot to see if they could help. The gentleman over the phone was SO nice. They were less than an hour from closing but he said to stop by and he’ll take a look. It turned out that my tire was at the point of completely giving out and it would have been dangerous for me to continue driving in the desert. This was December 4th 2020 in the evening and he helped prioritize changing out my tire even though the store was super busy. I wish I got his name but if he sees this, THANK YOU SO MUCH for getting my friend and I in and out of the store so quickly. You’re a lifesaver. 5 stars is an understatement.

Great service. My time on the weekdays to get things done is slim, but they had no problem taking my car after my work day was over. I thought I needed all new breaks, but I only needed the back ones so they saved me money instead of changing both. They were very upfront about what I needed and got it done cheaper than I expected.

Short version...Liars who will try to scam you and rip you off. Go to Discount Tire Depot across the street. Long version...I went in for an oil change and inspection. I already knew I needed an air filter but they told me my rear brakes are gone. My rotors are hot spotted and warped and my entire braking system needed to be flushed. I was surprised. They quoted me $450! I guess because I just got off of work and was wearing my suit, they assumed I had money and didnt know anything about cars. Luckily I worked in an auto shop for a year. I asked if the rotors could be turned. The guy looked at me surprised and said no. Not once did they take me back to show me the damage. I replied by saying no thank you. Go ahead and bring me my car, Im pretty sure the brakes will be fine for four days until my weekend. I took my car to Discount Tire Depot across the street. At Discount Tires they show you whats wrong with your car and treat you with respect. Honesty and integrity is how I would describe my experience at Discount Tires. They treat you like family and like they want to help you. Ill finish up by saying yes, I needed rear brakes but my rotors were fine. They just needed to be turned. After all was said and done I paid $170. Now that was a price that sounded correct. Please, for the love of all things, do not go to American Tire Depot. They will take advantage of you. Period!

I’m currently living in 29...a month ago I went to the local tire shop when my tire pressure light came on, I made the mistake of putting air in my tires beforehand...they let me go. That same day I went to American Tire Depot, and they spotted the issue within 5 minutes. Patched it up, no charge...all working MAYBE 30 minutes. Today I went in because my brakes were grinding. They were booked, but Gary made sure I was aware of everything going on. He was straight-up about my vehicle’s issues, told me exactly what should be done, and got everything covered. He was aware that I was on a budget, and informed me about my options. It didn’t matter that I had to wait, there were issues I already knew about...he made sure they were covered, and they did it faster than any auto-shop I’ve been to before.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and I’ve had nothing but amazing service! Talk to Gary, he knows what’s up!

Was in an unfortunate situation when on our drive to Laughlin we managed to get two flat tires (Amboy road). Initially got towed to discount tires but switched to American Tire Depot after speaking with Mike. He was unbelievably accommodating and helpful in getting us back on the road in a timely manner. Mike turned our day around, wish we had spoken to him first! Would have saved us a lot of time!!
