They told us they would have our stuff to us in 3-5 days and at most 19 days. 21 days later “after their first available day”, not even the date they picked up our stuff, they brought us our items after trying to deliver it to another person. They called the day of delivery after promising us 2 days notice to let us know they would be here at 3pm. They didn’t come until after 5pm so my husband lost work hours unnecessarily. Most boxes were damaged and many things were broken, they also stole our son’s new bike, threw out an entire box of stuff without our consent because it was leaking because they damaged the box, are impossible to contact unless they need something from you, and cost us over $300 in damages and lost or stolen items. These pictures show the damage they caused, the bag of items they threw out, the damage to the only glass container(salsa) in a box that caused an abundant amount of mold (we had to throw out everything in the box), and how they used our mattress pad to protect a piece of furniture. They give you a quote then up the price after they “weigh” the truck. Originally was supposed to cost us $2000 but ended up costing around $3000. They also didn’t help take a single box or item into our apartment because we are on the 3rd floor and they want $75 each time they climb a set of stairs. Completely unprofessional, dirty, disgusting scammers.

Horrible communication and very unprofessional. Scheduled a delivery told me it would be a 2-4 week window from then when they would deliver it so I said they would need to let me know so I could get off work to be there. Called me the day before so I asked to get off early based on the arrival time they gave but didn’t get here till close to 7 pm. Once they arrived they pretty much held my stuff hostage until I paid the amount they said which was more than originally given and had to sign whatever they said to get my stuff back. Gentlemen on the phone told us “I can make this very expensive for you” if we weren’t going to do or pay what he said. Then almost all of the boxes were damaged and the furniture broken as you can see in the photos below. They also started in the quote that they would take a part and put back together any furniture they they had to. They brought tools to take it apart at the load but none for when they delivered it. Horrible experience and would never recommend them

My move was and still is a horrible experience. NO STAR AT THIS POINT! *This company quoted me one price and the day of my move charged me twice the original and made me sign BLANK contracts after my furniture was loaded.RED FLAG.*I already had everything packed up in symetrical boxes and loaded most of them into the garage since I have moved several times before but only on my own with not moving company.*It took 4 men 5 hours to load my 2 bedroom home into thier Penske rented truck.Then when they arrived before I was able to be at the drop off:*There were only 2 movers and it took them 7 hours to unload which I dont know why because*they didnt take my furniture upstairs as I had sent written specific instructions. (THE ROOM IS EMPTY!) I sent these instructions to the movers and the Flymovers rep.*They instead crammed 1/2 my boxes into an outdoor storage area filled it to the top and placed my clearly marked FRAGILE boxes on the bottom *They broke items and hid one and placed the head on my fountain to look like it was all good and didnt tell me (like children)*They placed furniture and picture boxes(also clearly labeled) on my outdoor porch. Claiming they didnt have room to put them inside.*They disassembled furniture to load but then dumped them on the floor and left them when unloading(the contract states they will reassemble everything they take apart)*When I arrived and sent images to the company Molly and Alex said they would only work with me if I signed ANOTHER agreement to make this move legal with assurance they would do the right thing.*It has taken 10 days to get a hilarious reply of reimbursing me of only $200.00 !!!!!!!*I had stated up front to Alex that all I was asking was for them to pay for two movers to come in and complete what the original overs DIDNT do and to allow me to see what was damaged and they trun in reimburse request....DIDNT HAPPEN AT ALL.*I had to pay $6,000+(YES that is correct) and they did not do what their contract stated they would.*I have finally had to turn this over to an attorney.THEY HAVE BEEN SO DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL:DO NOT USE OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A SCAM!

Update 10/08/21THE NIGHTMARE CONTINUES- AVOID FLY MOVERS NO MATTER WHAT! TOTAL DAMAGES AND LOSS FROM THEFT AND OVERCHARGES AMOUNT TO MORE THAN $18,000.00 (Eighteen Thousand Dollars). Still pursuing restitution. Update on 7/30/21- Fly Movers made offer of $500 for me to retract my Google review. I did not accept because damages amount to much more than that and worse yet, now that everything has been unpacked, I discovered that most of my jewelry is missing and value on that is in range of $3500-$5000. Dont ever be considerate of movers when they arrive four hours late and proceed to unload furniture in dark and want to quit at 11 pm and come back next morning and finish unloading your belongings. I was gullible enough to allow them to leave with truck that contained my belongings and say that they could come back next morning. I believe this is pattern with them. They are deliberately late in packing and delivering so that customer is captive and at disadvantage. Read other reviews with low ratings. Companies like this prey upon the public. I have also filed a police report for missing jewelry and soubmitted a complaint to Better Business Bureau and the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration.I would suggest that anyone considering using Fly Movers to thouroughly investigate their bait an switch tactics (low estimates that double when furnit;ure is delivered or they hold belongings hostage and refuse to unload), will not produce weight ticket despite numerous requests, will not answer if their workers have to undergo a background/credit check, etc. Their business practices are deceptive at best and exhibit wanton disregard for their customers and their belongings. The law of averages finally caught up with me after 17 moves with reputable, ethical companies that were problem free. This experience with Fly Movers is an ongoing nightmare. I have told them that my next outreach will be to the news media. Just look at the number of recent bad rewiews this company alone has had posted. I have never had such a horrible experience with any type of company. Do not believe their response to my review that they are sorry that I am unhappy with their service.BEWARE! My experience this week with Fly Movers has been absolutely horribleThey use deceptive business practices are proficient at the bait and switch technique. Their tactics border on being dishonest. My $8000 estimate (CJ McWaters did the low estimate) ended up costing me over $16,000. They hold your belongings hostage on the truck and will not deliver until you give them a money order, cash or credit card ( charge you 5% extra to use card). They called to notify me that my bill had doubled and wanted payment within 2 hours.I scheduled my move two months in advance, paid my deposit, called to confirm dates a week before and they still called one hour before the packers were to show up and told me that my move was going to be postponed a day. They did not arrive until after 2pm the following day to start packing. I had to call half a dozen times to get Molly Rowland to give me update on rescheduling. The only time she ever called back without prodding was when she was trying to collect payment.I paid $1000 extra for expedited delivery and they told me at 6pm on Wednesday that I had to be in Pennsylvania by 2 pm on Thursday to accept delivery or they would need to put my furniture in storage and did not know when they would be able to deliver. I left Charlotte at 5:30 am on Thursday to be sure to be in Pittsburgh by 2pm. The trucks did not arrive until after 6 pm but Molly told me two or three times when she was trying to collect payment that the trucks would be arriving in a few minutes and that I needed to go ahead and DocuSign for the credit card payment before they arrived.Interesting, too, that they advertise on their truck that they are members of the Better Business Bureau (I took photo of their truck this evening) and they are not. Just one more example of how unscrupulous they are.

I had never used professional movers up until this last move and I will never go back to doing it myself. Everything was moved so quickly and efficiently! My cherished belongings were packed with such care and attentiveness. Everything remained safe and organized when arriving to our new home, thanks to the amazing service provided by Fly Movers and Storage! The customer service rep Molly was delightful. She knew the answers to all my questions and gave great direction. Heather also took such good care of me. 10/10 would recommend .

Seems like a scam. Police involved. Im moving from CA to TX. Cost around $ 7600. Moving took 20 days. Read before you use this company.1. Ask for astronomical tips: On 6/23 mover G called me to schedule a delivery time next day, but refused to do the reassembly. After I told him thats part of the service, he said he can but wanted 10%-20% tips out of my total cost, which is $760-$1,520.2. Mover fabricated lies that my dog bit him to framed us up for money and avoid finish work. On 6/24, after 4 hours late, only one mover showed up. Then he hired a temporary helper to unload inventory only, then helper left. He refused to move washer and dryer to laundry room upstair, refused to do reassembly, seems very rude just asked for tips. Only my parents home they dont speak English well, thats probably the reason to explain his discriminate behaviors. Around 4-5pm, he doesnt want to finish reassembly by himself. He went upstairs for a while, THEN, he went down lied that one of my toy sized poodle went upstair and bit his leg; although at the meantime, my two dogs were tight on a leash and tied to the cabinet door in kitchen downstairs, they couldnt go anywhere. Theyre 3 yrs and 7 yrs fully trained dogs, both are only 5 lbs. Theyre very friendly dogs had no aggressive behavior history. Mover showed my parents his wound that seems like a bite by mosquito, but almost already healed with a scab. Then he called me and told me he cannot continue working because my dog bit him, the jobs we asked him to do were ridicules, and threaten me he knew where we live, and hes going to call his lawyer. I told him he can do whatever he wants or call police. Then he went back to his car and called police. Three police cars and one ambulance arrived to check him... he got off his car with scab torn off, obviously he might did something to make it worse by himself alone in his car. Luckily, after the examination, report shows no evidences to support his lie. Its a lie and solo play all over. How scary and terrible!!!3. After my inventory got picked up, everything is out of my control. My moving cost increased from $4700 to $8350. After my query, they told me it should be $7600 excused they did wrong calculation. However, when I asked for an updated invoice, they only asked me to pay whatever amount they told me over the phone, avoid to tell me the total amount. Their invoices and paperworks are handwriting, unprofessional. Their sales would underestimate your inventory to attract you first. Movers will label every single items to make your inventory number huger than estimate to convince youre responsible for the increase. Their sales B promised 10% discount on total cost before signing contract, but denied after, only admitted a fixed discount based on estimate. He then disappeared, never answer your phone. Movers told me no additional charges when pick up, but added $230 after they left.4. Rude attitudes and bad services. After I found price discrepancy, and price increases compare with estimate, I tried to discuss with them, but their worker M hang up on me. She refused to answer my inquiries, only asked me to do what ever she asked, pay the balance first...Otherwise, shell charge me late fee...4. Damaged inventories and unreassembled furnitures. Screen from my massage chair (cost $6000) got damaged, power adapter and electric wire from my sectional got lost(cost $3000). One side handle from my refrigerator lost... Also, I have to find other company and spent extra money for reassembly. In addition, lots of parts from my dinning table, beds, washer and dryer are missing....5. I wrote an email explained everything to this company, no one contact me. Then I called in, M said thats the conflicts between the mover, me and law enforcement, nothing related to their company and hang up on me again. Then about a week later, they sent me a docu sign without explanation. In the letter, theyll release all liabilities, I wont able to look into their responsibilities, and theyll refund me $350...No updates till now....

Update 3- please reach out if Fly Movers has ever offered you $$ for a review. I have proof and it’s in direct violation of the FTC Act.Update 2- As you can see from the owners response to my, and other, reviews they have no issue putting the blame on the customer.I NEVER stated that I had 57 items. In fact, I stated that I had more boxes than that, not including any furniture that I told them that I had. I told the company that I had a 3 bedroom house with a basement. They then UNDERQUOTED me and held my items hostage until they were paid. There was no “discount” given initially and they only offered to refund a portion after I left honest reviews. They also will not refund anything until you sign a very questionable document alleviating Fly Movers from any liability for damage/missing items.I am missing 10-20 items that were either stolen or broken and thrown away before delivery.Update- they have now offered me money for a 5* review. Be very careful.Super shady business practices. Under quoted every other moving company I asked for a quote by about 30%, only to jack up the price after they had my stuff. Avoid at all cost. I’ve moved multiple times and never had a company act so shady. Molly told me she was going to get me a discount and lied about that. She never intended on getting me one. They even promised a military discount and never applied it. Greedy and not worth your time. Trust me.

We used i-fly movers to move about 500 miles. The staff was friendly, and all time commitments were made. Our big frustration was with the quoting process - which was claimed to be in what they sent us Your estimated price is guaranteed -- not to change unless you order additional services. Our estimate was for ~$3,700.However, after they packed up the truck (which they did well), they then weighed the truck (even though they claim the pricing to be based on cu ft and not weight) and the actual final price we got charged was ~$4,700.We did not add anything to the detailed quote we answered (we moved only what we claimed) and my partner made great effort to be detailed in what size things were and answered every question.Once its on the truck, we had no choice really pay the charge or wed not get our stuff. We were told we could dispute later, which I attempted to do. Even though requested, we did not get the dispute paperwork required.Their people and service levels were very good - we were satisfied with the move itself. Its the extra $1,000 beyond the quote that makes this company deserve only 3 stars. Coming in at more than 28% above estimate when we changed nothing about the move isnt accepted.So my advice to the reader is you can feel comfortable that this company will do a good job, but whatever the quote you, and regardless of what you read about volume, assume theyre going to underestimate by a LOT then charge you after you have no choice to pay as significant ($1000 or 28% in my case) amount more.

If the top person in charge doesnt/wont take a customer complaint call, that tells you all you need to know. I work in the transient construction industry and Ive moved 7 times in the past 11 years. Fly (by Night) Movers facilitated my latest move. Without question, worst moving experience ever. Theyll push to provide a cubic foot price versus weight and (I think) they intentionally underestimate to give potential customers an attractive price. Then once loaded, the price increases dramatically. Their contract states a move window +/- 2 days of the agreed upon move date. They opted for the following day which negatively impacted move related downstream plans. Too, final payment MUST be cash or money order. You can pay the pickup fee with a credit card however a 5% convenience fee is applied. A bar stool was damaged in the move and Ive yet to receive a claim form and frankly, I dont expect to. To point, there are MUCH better moving contractors out there. Do your due diligence and hire a good one.

Bait and switch...I got multiple quotes and after many conversations and text the Tim Z I signed a contract for our move including a car across country. Tim Z did the quote virtually, room by room. I paid $3k down and actually removed about 1/3 of the furniture from the move. I packed all the China and glass wear myself thank God. The day of the move they arrived about 3 hrs late in a Penske rental truck..came in the house said the move would be at least an additional $6k and I need another truck which I will have to pay for. I tried multiple times to talk to Tim Z but he was no where to be found..the movers of course refused to do anything until I agreed to pay. I was closing on our house the next day and had no choice. The move included packing and unpacking which was terrible..the day of delivery (they called the night before) I had to arrange for storage because our house was not finished..they crammed everything into the container breaking off chair legs and smashing boxes. The left me with the present of all the tape they removed from the packing blankets because they didnt want to put it in their truck . Of course they would not unload anything without being paid first, which I did with a bag full of 20s..all conversations were with Tim Z and Molly..they will tell you everything you want to hear. The day of the move everyone speaks Lithuanian...I dont...its frustrating to say the least...stay away. I have moved cross country 4 times and have always used Bekins, Mayflower never had a problem. The movers threw Tim Z under the bus saying he was new and didnt know what he was doing. Hence the off quote. I ended up paying the same as Mayflower with tremendous stress from fly movers. I did not file a claim with them because personally I dont want to have anything to do with them again...lesson learned...literally move on

To be clear I am only reviewing their customer service. One company beat them by a slim margin in price so I went with them. What they did do for me, specifically Alex, was verify the company that I went with. He ran a search and offered proof that they are in fact an accredited moving company. I know that if the company were less desirable it would have been a selling point for him but the fact that he was honest about the authenticity of the other company was settling. Great customer service and I will look for them in the future.

The packers were extremely careful and packed my things up perfectly and prepared everything for a long distance move. Pricing was costly but if you want items to be safe and protected, hiring a company is the way to go. The 3 young gentleman who packed up my house were very professional and respectful. Nice to be able to store items up to 30 days while I got settled in my new location.

Fly Movers has been the absolute worst moving experience of our life. Its now been over 30 days since our property was picked up from our California residence for an out of state move and we still have no idea when the move will be completed. The original quote was revised after the items were picked up with an additional cost of approximately $4000. To make this worse the supposed weight scale receipt didnt have the full date listed which makes us question if this is even valid or if the company is possibly attempting to overcharge for their services. Calls and emails are never returned and when we can get someone on the phone they lied about having our personal property loaded on a truck and they would contact us when the drivers are enroute. That was over a week ago and no call back.We are now pursuing all legal options available to include filing complaints with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (division of USDOT) that governs moving companies, Better Business Bureau and retaining an attorney for civil action against this company.If you are looking for a moving company you should look elsewhere because this company has been an absolute nightmare and my wife has now been in an empty house for over a month waiting for these people to deliver our furniture. Absolutely horrible service and they dont even seem to care what issues they are causing their customers.****THIS IS A RESPONSE TO THE BELOW REPLY FROM THE OWNER dated 9/28/2021*****I am 100% certain that your post is a lie. My wife spoke to one of the owners (Ivan) on the phone last week and he stated our furniture would be loaded over the weekend (SECOND PROMISE THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN). Today, my wife spoke with Molly and she stated it wasnt loaded and my wife demanded that they allow us to pickup our belongings from their warehouse in the Los Angeles area. Wow! These guys rock. Efficient, professional, very rad. I talked to Molly on the phone and she was so ridiculously nice and helpful, totally made my day and got everything set up in minutes. Had a great experience with Long Distance. Fly Movers & Storage from scheduling to the day of my move.The team called me on the day of to let me know their ETA. They came in and immediately got to work. Within less than 30 minutes all of the boxes were loaded.They moved quickly and carefully. I appreciated the care they showed for my belongings. Overall I was very satisfied with Alex, Desmond and Michael. They were also very courteous.I would recommend Long Distance. Fly Movers & Storage and would use them again in the future.

Make sure you pay with a credit card so you can dispute the charges later. The extra 5% “surcharge” they pocket is worth the ability to get your money back from these thieves.

Ivan page is pretty useless too. He can’t offer more than $500 for a breach of contract and them breaking your stuff. He also can’t take out the “Take down negative reviews” out of their “offer” contract. Just useless…

Absolutely horrible experience start to finish. Scheduling pickup and delivery was miserable, they were late, shady low-ball pricing tactics, and broken furniture upon delivery. They offered me $100 in exchange for breaking my 55” HDTV and bookcase. Pathetic.

This is a good company. You can trust them, I have used them four times now believe it or not, and every time has been just as good if not better than the last. This is definitely one of those companies that gets better with age, they definitely know what they are doing. They aren’t going to screw you over.

I used Fly Movers and Storage and they were great. But the most exciting bit of this move for me was the fact they packed our home for us. I was really dreading this, and when I found out they offer these services I convinced my partner to hire them for that as well. Turns out it was a great idea because not only did they do a good job and make it so I didn’t have to do it, I was probably a lot more pleasant than I otherwise would have been, so the whole family was just better off. I’m so glad we found them and I’m so glad they offered the service! If you’ve never had someone pack your home for you before I highly recommend you hire these guys to do it for your out-of-state move!

Fly movers is a scam. A mess from the very beginning. Communication is horrible after they sell you the move. They are almost impossible to get ahold of. They will take ANY opportunity to charge you more. You can expect your items to be missing/ damaged upon delivery. Save yourself the headache and DONT use fly movers.

We carefully selected Fly Movers because they were a smaller, held company, as opposed to the Big Box brands that hand off their thaybetween point to point. Fly honored their bid and their arrival date. Fly seemed to respect that a household move is more than just transporting material; it is the contents of someone’s home and the symbols of their life. Their team was friendly, professional and responsive.
