The apartments are nice. They have an open floor plan, patios, and there is a ton of parking. But this review is not about the apartments because you can get all of that information from the website/tours. What you cannot get is the feel of the complex and the attitude of the staff. We moved to Beaverton in July of 2020 without ever having visited the place. This was right in the middle of COVID so a lot of things were hard to do over the phone but that did not stop Bob, the property manager. He was always professional over email/phone and sent us many pictures so we could see what kind of apartment we were moving into. Bob was incredibly prompt with his communication. This continued when we moved in and met him in person. He takes incredible care of the property by ensuring the trash is clean and the grass areas are watered. Further he has a good relationship with everyone. There is not one resident that walks by who does not stop to talk to him.During my time here, I was in need of a garage to store some things and he was able to get me one within one month. Any maintenance issue I ever had was fixed as quick as possible. When our laundry unit was broken, he gave us enough quarters to use the community washer and dryers so that it was not a burden on us. Further, instead of replacing the same belt over and over again like many apartments would do, Bob requested a new one for us. Bob has always been friendly with me and my significant other and he is always kind to my dog as well. He gave me two of his disc golf discs when he learned that I play but did not bring any with me in my move. He also offered to let me charge my motorcycle battery in his garage if needed.Having managed a few businesses, Bob is the kind of person that I would want working for my company because he understands how to communicate with people and go above and beyond.

Bob, the property manager, is a very hospitable and kind person. My partner and I showed up, on a whim, to take a look around and see what the community is like. Very quiet and neighborly. We stopped by the leasing office to see if the pool would be accessible this summer. The front door was locked at first and then I decided to call to leave a message. Not only did Bob answer the phone right away, he took the time to invite us inside and actually show us around the lovely property. He started with the pool and it was very well kept and clean. He continued through the community, showing us different units. Not only did he do this but he actually invited my partner and I into his OWN home to show us the difference between what the two and three bedrooms had to offer (only because there werent any other vacant three bedroom apartments available for showing). I must admit, both very impressive and spacious floor plans. They are extremely well kept and they are continuing to update little things here and there (LED lights in the kitchen, appliances, and counter tops) to make the units even more up to date. Nothing invasive. Lets side track here a little; Who on earth, especially a property manager, would invite perfect strangers into their lovely and well kept home to show what this beautiful community has to offer? He showed us that ALL OF THE UNITS INCUDE A WASHER AND DRYER, nice sinks, very clean carpets, necessary appliances, fresh coats of paint, VERY spacious and open floor plan, as well as (youre gonna love this) BALCONIES/PATIOS FOR ALL!!! As he continued through the community, (this broke my heart) there was a little corner off of a bag or wrapper somebody had left/probably had floated in from the street that could easily be missed and he actually bent down to pick it up out of the rose bushes. He continued to tell us that he waters the roses and raspberry bushes, himself, in addition to helping a hired landscaper maintain the bulk of the grass and other plants. This fine gentleman showed us around the entire perimeter and continued to show us how much of his own time and energy he devotes into making this a very safe and comfortable home for not only older folk, but a couple of college kids looking for something safe, quiet, affordable, and out of the way of city noise and bustle while also maintaining a reasonable commute to city center workplaces (approx. 20 minutes). Not to mention sparing yourself from the theft and other crime associated complications you get from living in city center Portland. Put it this way: Would you rather pay $1.5K+ for a 400-500 sqft 1 bedroom apartment (what the hipster property managers that own them call an urban 1 bedroom) in the middle of Portland that just looks like a swanky, stretched out hallway with a kitchen that takes up half of your common areas in addition to risking some drug addict in your overpriced/separately charged parking spot in the parking structure breaking into your car or hustling you for whatever you have in your pockets... OR would you rather pay $1,265 for a 900+ sqft two bedroom apartment with an open floor plan, washer/dryers in unit, clean carpets, private saunas for you and your partner in the lobby with showers to clean off afterwards, additional launderette for bulkier bedding in the center of the complex, quiet surrounding neighborhood with friendly, warm, and welcoming neighbors that you dont have to file noise complaints with the city on or worry about having your car broken into/stolen if you park it on the street? My answer? Its a no brainer. Audubon stole our hearts. We jumped at submitting an application today. We are hoping that we land the two bedroom unit. Regardless of the possibility of getting approved or not, I needed to leave a review for anyone looking at this apartment complex. If you get the chance to rent here, take it before someone else does and please, please, please do your part and respect the complex as well. If you saw how hard this guy works to keep it up, it would blow your mind.

Ive lived here for three years, and its been consistent and well managed even with the switch between managers. Any maintenance issues Ive had have been resolved quickly. Rent hikes happen every year when you resign a contract. Price of water/sewer and garbage gets pretty steep sometimes especially considering that the bill is split between tenants so even if youre out of town for two weeks your bill will be the same or even higher, which is my only complaint. Otherwise the property is taken care of well and the neighborhood is quiet.

Rental increases were almost 2 times a year and they dont keep up with the maintenance of the apartments very well. Ive had a broken dishwasher and refrigerator that took almost a week each to get replaced as well as a toilet. Asides from that good location and decent looking.
