Our stay at Sunstone Parc was one of satisfaction. The upkeep of the apartment grounds were managements responsibility in which they always swiftly attended to and gave plenty of notice when doing so. Not only that, but the community amenities were always highly maintained for tenant use. If you were looking for a transitional or temporary place to live, we would recommend Sunstone Parc for the friendly neighborhood and fair rental price value. Now, in regards to the interior features, please know that it is not entirely glamorous, but it has simple yet serviceable units that should act well as a standard apartment stay. We, as previous tenants, want to highlight our experience and any recommendations we can provide for the move-in and move-out process. Our advice to future residents is to complete a written inspection of the unit shortly after moving in. This should eradicate any lack of communication when moving out and make the new tenant aware of what is properly functioning upon move in. As tenants, its easy to get caught up in settling-in without taking the proper steps to making sure your unit is suitable for your living experience. In the midst of paperwork, we want to remind future tenants that there is one last utilities payment due after the return of the keys. This was something we felt got lost in translation, which is why we expressed our confusion to management. Fortunately, CTL Management was very keen on listening to our concerns, clearing up any/all miscommunication, and were willing to find a negotiable solution for our situation. For a property management establishment to be as sincere and accommodating as they were with us, says a lot about how much effort they put into keeping their tenants happy. Its also important to note, an arise of frustration can be normal when you live in close proximity to others and feel drowned out in the mix, but the managers of Sunstone Parc do their best to be attentive and transparent. It is for this reason, we felt satisfied with our stay.

This place is a dump Run as fast as you can! Knobs fall of doors stoves fall a part The appliances DO NOT WORK! There are apartments with no electricity that have been that way for months. Instead of hiring a real maintenance man they have a wanna be who rides around on a golf cart all day and pretends to do stuff. This has been the worst place me and my husband have ever lived in. Im embarrassed I even have my kids living here.

I have been living 2 years in these apartments I have visited many times I can not remember how many I have, the manager does not do anything to fix the parking problem, there is no parking in the afternoon and I mentioned that there are people who have more than 3 cars and he does not do anything .. every year is more expensive and they do not mind doing anything. I do not recommend these apartments

I really enjoyed my stay at Sunstone Parc the office staff and maintenance guy Joel are awesome and always go above and beyond to make sure I was happy they took care of a few items in my apartment in order to accommodate my needs. Thanks so much!! Plus the this complex is located near a beautiful wetland area with such a beautiful view. I will miss the staff and apartment when I move.

I love living here at these apartments. I especially really like the 24/7 gym that is open for residents as it is air conditioned and has sufficient machines for exercising. Another benefit of this location is that it is right across the street from Whole Foods, 1 minute walk from TriMet bus stops, and close to trails at Fanno Creek. Mark is an excellent manager and wiling to listen to residents concerns and address their needs. My only concern is related to the parking situation. There isnt a whole lot of parking for residents and their guests; therefore, any residents or guests would have to park their cars across the street at the Whole Foods parking lot. Otherwise, I do appreciate having an assigned spot that guarantees parking, but there are times when guests or other residents will utilize your parking spot due to lack of parking.Overall, it is a great place to live.

When I decided to rent an apartment here I thought that management care for their tenants. Everything started the wrong way they did not let me view the apartment before I rent management instead ask for a holding deposit of 300.00 and then for me to bring the entire rent and deposit and they only show me pics. I really thought I was renting a very good place but, when I came to find out that they were charging utilities for my kids and they are way underage like if they would be adults and I was told by management that my utility bill was going to be about $40.00 my utility bills were over $100.00 and also the apartment was not inspected correctly it was infested with spiders my son got a spider bite and had to take him to the ER. I immediately took my kids out of the apartment and told management asap and I was told that I need to wait 3 weeks to have the pet control come to my apartment, in the mean time I lived with at moms home for 3 weeks and I paid my rent and gave my money away. I could not sleep upstairs people were so loud and always was told by management keep reporting it what is that what they do nothing right so I spend regret paying a huge rent for 7 mo. Now before I left my apartment got flooded on my bedroom and they brought in fans right away, Management is not professional I ask for my entire deposit and what they did was they keep saying o we are going to see how much damage there is there is no damage the apartment I left it how it was and more cleaner than when I came in there. I call management and I told them that I did not agree with non of that and I had a video how I left the apartment and there was no reason for the apartment to be paint to so I can be charge the gal gave me an attitude. Also when I live there I could not sleep at all due to a lot of noise and management did not care....SO ANYONE BEFORE YOU THINK OF RENTING HERE THINK 2X PRICE IS NOT WORTH VERY DISSATISFIED WILL NOT RENT THERE AGAIN AND I WISH AT LEAST I CAN GET BACK 1/2 OF WHAT I HAD PAID FOR ALL THE DAMAGE THEY DID TO ME AND LIED

The amount you pay for such a little place isnt worth it. The pool is so so and the parking was so tight that my car received several new dents on the passenger side. Be sure to do the walk through inspection when you vacate because I made the mistake of not doing so to have them keep a chunk of my deposit for a cleaning fee even though I scrubbed the place down before I left. Apartment companies really are scam artists. This place was no exception.

Beware the surge pricing. That means the rents change by the day. Negotiate your rent ferociously - every year. Shop around before you sign a lease or a renewal.

The management is terrible, but some of the staff are OK. I will admit, there is a great view of the green space. But in the end I would advise you not to live here. They will seem nice at first but they are rude, trashy, and will never change. DONT EVER LIVE HERE!!!!!

Awful apartments. Ive been here three months and I cant wait for my lease to be up. I called maintenance about not only my porch light not working but the center one between our apartment and our neighbors. I have kids so in the dark Im trying to unlock my door. They didnt come so I had to call AGAIN after two weeks. Then he tried to argue with me about how the guy fixed one but not the other. Then I called because in the middle of making my kids dinner my stove sparked. And he told me that he wasnt sure if he could get the maintenance guy there cuz he just went home and they dont usually come after hours for something like that. I got super frustrated asked how I was supposed to cook for my hungry kids and he sent the guy. Well come to find out that something was leaking and the electrical was messed up so The really nice maintenance guy said good thing Im here. And lastly this week will officially be 4 weeks since I called because the towl rach in the bathroom has been broke since we moved in, and the light over the front door on the inside doesnt work. Awful management here. And if u love ur dog(s) dont move here. This place is just infested with fleas my husband is a manager at a peat control company and he aprays weekly but they keep bringing them in from the outside which means other folks dogs have them and are not treating its just so infested here. I feel so bad for my dogs. Thank god we only signed a 6 month lease. And I gave this a 2 because it is a cute apartment but honestly as much as I thought it was worth it. Nope, look else where. Trust me.

Ive lived here for the last year. My experience with my apartment itself was fine for the most part. My bedroom was on the side nearest Scholl’s ferry which was quite loud. I had some difficulty sleeping until I got used to the noise. Another problem is traffic. The 217 junction makes for heavy traffic during peak hours which can be really annoying when you’re trying to get home or go to work. The biggest problem with Sunstone is the management. The girl who works on the weekends is completely useless, when I was waiting to move in she made me wait around for two hours while her and her bf had lunch, and then tried to blame it on me. The other office staff is rarely present. I ended up waiting for days for packages I ordered because every time they attempted delivery no one in the office was there to receive them. The other people there were less than friendly, they always made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them when I came into the office.Theyll also nickel and dime you for everything they can think of. I wasnt planning on staying anyway but it made the decision even easier to leave when they raised the price of a one bedroom from $825 to $975 and that doesnt include the utilities theyll charge you that range from $40-60 plus the electricity you pay on your own. At $825 I would have said this is a decent place to life but at over $1k a month you’re better off somewhere else.

So not only did they place the apt we applied for back on the market but the customer service was terrible. we were not greeted with a smile, and the manager rolled her eyes at me several times when we were telling her the reasons why we were moving im sure as every one does that but no excuse to be rude to the ppl your trying to get to move in, i will ever EVER recomend to live here to expensive for the lack of care they show their potential residents. i went with riverwood instead and am very happy with the service i got. also they placed an apt on hold for me and i didnt have to do anything, didnt even fill out an app, so i recomend River Wood Est.
