Summit at Hyland Park is an excellent place to call home. The management team not only makes you feel at home, they go the extra mile to ensure that the up keep, apartments and grounds are well maintain. They even hold special events for the pets and ensure that each pet gets a special gift. The apartments are simply beautiful, with breath taking views and great floor plans. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, with gorgeous flowers and beautiful trees. There’s even hiking trails that provide a peaceful and scenic walk through nature. You can always end your evening by relaxing in the hot tub, taking a dip in the pool or working out in the gym.Best of all the neighbors are great!

I’ve been very happy living at Summit. It’s very quiet, clean and the apartment is a nice size and nicely updated. The office staff has always been very nice and easy to work with. The only thing Bad is the parking. Garages are available, which is great, but the rest of the parking is first come first serve. I woulddefinitely recommend living here.

I’ve been living here for a year now and it’s been extremely easy and pleasant experience. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, management is responsive and easy to work with and the community is always clean and well maintained. Olivia and Laura are awesome and always responsive to anything I need. I was happy to renew my lease this year :)

My fiance and I moved in March 2020. The previous property management was wonderful which is why we signed the lease in the first place. Shortly after moving in management changed and things went down hill from there. Although it looks good on the outside, they do not update structurally and it becomes obvious upon move in. The walls are paper thin and can hear full conversations from the apartment units around you. Constant plumbing issues in both bathrooms, fans dont work, washer and drier never worked, had a SLUG infestation for most of our time living there. The maintenance workers were always very kind when helping but it was very hard to even get us on their schedules. We were in contact with the building managers multiple times and never felt taken care of. They are very much all about money and not about the wellbeing of their tenants.

Ive lived here since August (6 months) and loved this place because it looks nice and the layouts are unique. However, on the 1st night the neighbor above us was up from the hours of 10pm-3am walking around and the creaking was so loud it woke my husband and I up throughout the night. This happened every night consistently. The office staff was helpful but I felt their hands were tied with covid, now Im not sure if there is anything they can do to make it better because it is a structural problem not a neighbor problem. We changed units thinking it would help but again weve been kept up. Its one thing if the units are loud during the day but the hours we are kept awake are throughout the night, every night.I have a fan on and sleep/ocean sounds on, ear plugs, head phones. I am desperate to get a good night sleep. I feel so trapped living here, and wish there was some way out of the 1 year lease we have. I have to teach my son kindergarten and my husband has to work. The lack of sleep has been so detrimental to out mental and emotional health.

Current resident here. When we first moved in 02/2019 we were very impressed with the updated apartments at a decent price, the maintenance at that time werent the best but the property manager Cassandra Meyer got a great team in soon after moving in and the property has never looked better! All maintenance requests are done in a timely manner and done well. Janette and Manny are great. Cassandra has always been professional and polite. We resigned for another year and may again next year. Thanks for a nice taken care of roof over my head.

Cassandra the property manager is so very helpful, friendly and caring. Jeanette is so fast with maintenance. We love them! They have made us feel right at home. Juila Sleeper our former Leasing Agent was great too. I would highly recommend Terra at Murrayhill Apartments. I would however suggest getting a garage, for $100 a month, parking is a real pain.

While the size of the apartment itself is great for the price and there are great amenities, the apartments are older so walls are thin and the parking is a nightmare. If you can even find parking on the street after 5pm, youre lucky. You will have to pay extra for guaranteed parking. My main issue is lack of communication from the office staff and lack of staff actually on the property when you need them. The mailbox for their voice-mail has been full for weeks so you cant even leave a voice-mail.We recently had a situation where the roofs were being replaced and rain got in while they were doing ours. We had a couple of leaks in the living room and one long crack over our bed in the bedroom. It was leaking dirty water on the floor and our bed, which was pretty upsetting.. This was a Wednesday at 11am and we waited outside the office for an hour for someone to be there so we could explain what was going on. Emergency maintenance wasnt even answering until almost 4 hours later saying the line was down and they didnt know anyone wasnt in the office until recently (at around 3pm). The supervisor for the roofing company was the one who actually turned that day around. Cassandra finally called us the next day with the excuse that she was sick. It would of been nice to let your staff and residents know if you arent going to be in the office. Heads up about office closures dont happen as frequently as they should. We did end up getting a heads up that they are closing for a week for Memorial Day, so hopefully the communication improves, but the leak situation wasnt helped at all by the property. Communication needs to improve and hire more staff, because this has been an issue for months now, well before covid19.

This is by far the worst place we have lived. It started off by them not really having our unit ready by move-in but that was a bit more understable since their maintenance guy just up and quit on them but the real issue is they do cosmetic repairs to make the place look nice (new countertops, cabinet fronts, vinyl flooring) but they actual structure is unsound. The first two weeks we got little to no sleep because the upstairs neighbor was getting up every hour and walking around and the floor would creak so bad it would wake me up in the dead of sleep, and Im a heavy sleeper. After the second day we talked to the upstairs neighbor and multiple times afterwards and he deflected the fact that he was up every time saying things like, its probably your tv and Im not up We had to move to the other bedroom where he didnt walk so we could sleep. We talked to the office and they were nice but nothing was really offered except for us to move to another unit which we did. Now for the past 2 weeks its like the same thing as the new unit. Being kept up till 1:30am. We have a 5 year old that has to do kindergarten from home and none of us are getting sound sleep I completely regret moving here. We have been here for almost 4 months paying around $1850 with everything included and not getting a good nights sleep most nights This place needs a rehaul of the actual structural components not just the cosmetic things to make it look nice. We are leaving this place first chance we get and I suggest anyone looking to move here to look elsewhere.UPDATE:Beware of switching units because they start your lease over. Never mentioned this to us when we discussed this as an option to remedy the problem with noise, and we got the leasing agreement after we had already moved in to the other unit and didnt really look it over because we were still unpacking, working, and trying to help our 5 year old with school. They claim they dont try to trap people and say we are the only ones that seems to have an issues but its pretty apparent to me that that is far from the truth, both from the reviews and the people I have talked to. Seriously steer clear of this place. I know a lot of places that are doing similar things but if you want a peaceful nights sleep and for people to be compassionate to your issues look elsewhere.

Heres what you need to know:- Little to no sound pollution.- Parking on the street when you have to isnt really all that bad, considering the distance and how beautiful the scenery is.- Great air.- Friendly staff.- Insane amount of amenities, most free.

This complex appears to be great when you first come in but after you sign your lease everything changes. I lived here for about two years and trying to communicate or contact the office was next to impossible unless you walk in, which is unrealistic for working individuals. You will send countless emails and call multiple times before either giving up or if your lucky someone MIGHT respond weeks later. If you work a standard 9-5, good luck finding any parking when you get home. Sure they advertise convenient street parking but you’ll end up parking a mile away and having to hoof it to your apartment. The only paid parking is garages and those are over priced from what you’re getting.Basically if you have ANY other options for housing, take them because this place is not worth you money.
