Julian is very rude and abrasive, I would recommend that the staff is trained on how to properly communicate with the residents. Intentionally ignored my calls and concerns on several occasions. Also, the apartments need to be upgraded with new paint and the exterior windows should be pressure washed due to the visible residue. I am a frequent traveler, so I initially signed my lease while living out of state, and I continuously regret the decision to do so.The residents are kind, but the staff could use some work. Also, if you’re looking for amenities, please consider other locations. Very walkable location & I haven’t had any issues with safety despite the constant need for gate repair.Hopefully with training and possibly employing new staff, the experience will improve.

I have lived at Axial for nearly 2 years. The location is perfect. Walkable to restaurants, shopping, grocery & Marta. The complex is smaller than those in the area which makes it have a homey feel and parking is great. The gym is terrible, but the pool makes up for it in the summertime. The maintenance team is responsive, quick, and polite. We moved to a bigger apartment during our lease and Gabbie was exceptional at getting everything sorted. She is the reason we signed another year.

I also want to thank the office staff they are amazing! Every last one of them! The maintenance staff is also great they take care of all my needs right when it happens, they are always right on it! Definitely would recommend to others! I also appreciate that the give everybody an update on what’s going on in the world today along with what’s going on at the complex (updates) almost every week! Don’t recommend this community, it’s unsafe cars vandalized in the past 3 months, I still living in here and on January someone broke in my place, management answers is it was a random thing that happened, also leaks inside the apartments, plus outside you can see trash everywhere on the parking lot. It’s just not worth it for the money. Can’t wait to move out.

All in all — for the price you’re about to pay for these apartments, I would say move somewhere else.We leased the apartment during the pandemic which limited the ability to view the apartment. Upon entering the unit: the floors boards were coming up, the bathroom grout job looks like a child did it, the showers themselves are discolored, the window screens have holes in them (and that’s just naming a few). Pretty immediately we put in maintenance requests, which went no better. We were told by the maintenance manager “I oversaw the preparation for this unit myself, so it’s perfect”. This was the response before showing them the missing screws from the ceiling vent (which has a nice layer of paint over the dust to cover it up). The floor boards are “floating” btw - so when they stick to your feet and pop off the floor, there’s nothing the apartment complex can do to fix it.I’ve also had a few mailing mishaps. The front office was notified with plenty of time that I had an incoming package that needed to be delivered to the proper address (I had updated the unit # on the package). I was told by the front office this was no big deal and they could talk with the mailman when he arrives to make sure it went to the proper mailbox. That of course did not happen - later that day I had confirmation from USPS the package was delivered to the wrong mailbox. The next step would be for the front office to simply notify the residents so I could retrieve my package - as you can imagine, this has been nightmarish for them to complete. It’s been maybe 2.5 months at this place and nothing but problems since the beginning.

Very reasonably priced and spacious apartment. The location is also unbelievable for the price. The management is kind and tries to accommodate when possible. The amenities are good too - the pool is a decent size. The gym is fairly small, but its actually pretty nice how its divided into small rooms because I am almost always the only person in the gym. The maintenance people come fairly quickly as well, so I dont know what else I could ask for!

I lived in the Axial for two years and did not feel that the management had implemented the foundation for a safe environment as we had ours and our guests vehicles vandalized and broken into on 3+ occasions (whenever this happened to us, it also happened to several others as well) I’m talking shattered windows and ransacked vehicles. I understand we live in the city, but the apartment did nothing to prevent this from reoccurring. They defended themselves by arguing and insisted that the “gate and cameras where sufficient security.” They wouldn’t even send a warning email to the residents to inform them to be extra cautious.Contradictory to that statement, their security office admitted that the cameras hadn’t worked in several years, and beyond that, the gate was broken on a weekly basis. Additionally, we went almost an entire year without hot water in one of the bathrooms – which was especially frustrating given the Axial has astronomically high water bills ($120+/month). They blame it on the county but Ive lived in two other complexes within a mile of the Axial and paid a fraction of what they charged. We also had several roach infestations, and countless work orders. However, the maintenance team was always very friendly as were the staff in the leasing office.Regardless, I would NOT recommend living at the Axial. I recommend you do your due diligence to see that you can pay parallel to live somewhere right down the road, with higher quality apartments and amenities. Also, take into consideration that alongside rent, you’ll also pay outrageous water bills and unlike many apartments, they don’t include gas in the rent. Read the fine print and move on – to another apartment complex.

I’ve only lived here a few months but it’s been a great experience thus far. Gabby made the leasing process seamless despite everything going on with COVID. She communicated with me daily with any new updates and was so easy to talk to. When I moved in there was some miscommunication about a few things but the property manager Brooke fixed them quickly....like within 24-48 hours. The community is quiet and friendly not to mention I’m walking to distance to chipotle :) I’m very happy hear and I’m glad I didn’t go off passed experiences that happened before they acquired new management.

Don’t recommend Axial Buckhead, I lived there for 2 years and price vs space is good, but management are the worst. Never help with a solution with any issue you have. Maintainence team is very good people and kind, office staff are kind, but the manager Brooke I think is the name it’s just convenient when she need to get something from you she is the most kind person but she never there to support you when you have an issue. Hope corporate can do some training on how treat and keep customers happy is not everything about making money, it has to be a balance and she doesn’t have it.

This is a great apartment complex in a wonderful spot in Buckhead! Centrally located. The management and office staff are all incredibly kind and helpful and the maintenance team has been attentive and quick to respond.I moved to ATL not really knowing the city and could not have found a better spot to live! The community, staff and location are great and the neighborhood/area has everything I need close + its safe. The apartments are spacious and nice. The flooring is gorgeous and there is plenty of closet space. They also come with a full size washer + dryer which I think is important in an apartment but maybe thats just me. My unit also has a pretty spacious patio which adds to the niceness of the spot. The community is dog friendly which is nice, including bigger dogs which isnt always the case with apartments. They even have a treats spot in the office for you to stop by with your doggy if you have one.The office also hosts some fun events monthly to give you an opportunity to meet your neighbors which is fun!Its a nice place to call home and Id recommend it.

After moving here a year ago, I decided to go and look for other options to save money, by the time I compared rent prices to what I get here at Axial for a hundred dollars more I decided to renew. It is very hard in Atlanta to live in the city, be safe, have a real renovated apartment and friendly, personable staff. Maintenance is excellent and they truly come when you call them (less than 24 hours). I love it here- definitely a quality apartment and the walls arent thin at all.

I have lived in several apartment complexes in Atlanta over the past 10 years and this is by far the best one yet. I am on year 4 living here and the only complaint I have ever had is that my air conditioning used to go out- but the new management team fixed it and it has been fine for this entire summer.Like others have said, walls are solid and I can never hear any of my neighbors. Almost everyone has a dog too, which is nice. It is also very safe; which I think is important in Atlanta. Also, if you think it is expensive to live here, compare the rent to other places in Buckhead first.

Pros: Great location. Everything is in walking distance or a few miles away. Cheap rent for Buckhead.Cons: Water bill is $150 per month. Worst staff I have ever dealt with. Axial was recently bought out and the new staff is worse than the last. The apartments are old and always have maintenance issues. They only have 2 maintenance guys so it may be over a week or two that they come fix anything. We had no A/C in our unit for 3 months during summer. The maintenance staff did not know how to repair it and were very unprofessional. They left the front door wide open one day after working on our apartment and left all the lights on and dirt everywhere. Would not recommend.

The pros: The one bedroom is pretty spacious and the updated units have been done really well. I thought the location was great, until I realized the amount of traffic I would have to be in every day regardless what direction Im going in or at what time. The cons: First and foremost, management. I have never dealt with a worse company. Diego is nice and easy to work with. Unfortunately, his coworker (Elizabeth?) and the corporate office are incredibly unprofessional and unreasonable. Expect to pay between $120 and $150 for your water bill monthly for a one bedroom. And when you ask them to check on it, youll be ignored. I took it to corporate and was threatened to be kicked out (due to the fact that my fiance is always here) if I took the complaint any further. I have spoken to other neighbors about this and found that they have also all had problems with management and plan on not renewing their leases. Im not sure how they can run a company with this many unhappy tenants. The turnover must be incredibly high. Thats probably the water Im paying for. I wouldnt know because they are suspiciously vague about the charges and wont direct you anyone to find out more. I most certainly will not be renewing my lease and that sentiment is shared throughout the community.

I promise you that moving into this place would be a mistake! They make the pictures on the web site look like its an amazing place to live but please think again. The gym sucks and all the equipment is old and out dated (most does not work). Be ready to pay $140 + for the water bill each month for a 1 bedroom apt. The on going joke on the weekends at the pool from everyone is we all should start taking showers at the pool to save money on our next water bill. The street volume is beyond loud with cars honking 24/7 and fire trucks and police every 10 mins. The front security gate is always broken and left open, so security I think not. If you are to move into this place be prepared to deal with the manager Elizabeth Webb, this is that person everyone has had to deal with at one point or another that makes one think about how to burn this place to the ground. Elizabeth Webb clearly has no friends and no man at home serving her right. The only property she should really start managing is the body she wears day to day (shes very overweight). She harasses people on a day to day basis which you can tell she enjoys! She is like one of those cops that abuse their power just because of the job title they have. Bottom line DO NOT MOVE INTO THE CAMBRIDGE APARTMENTS!!!!!!! DONT!!!!!!

They are Amazing!!Ive been living at Axial at Buckhead for 5 years and in the last two years they have been taken over by a few new companies, 2 of which were an absolute nightmares. HOWEVER, in 2017 Axial was taken over by a company name Venterra Living and let me be the first to tell you that THEY ARE THE DREAM TEAM!!!!!! Manager Kristen and her team have been sooooo exceedingly kind and professional. There is always someone in the office to help you with anything you need; the maintenance staff is very kind and professional as well.Manager Kristen is so sweet yall it is almost unreal. What sets her apart from the previous managers is that she seemingly looks at ever situation from the tenants eyes, and she has this natural ability to make you feel like you matter and that your not just another number on a spreadsheet. KRISTEN IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Also, Tara is so caring and has been like a council to me; always giving me good tenant advice and even a big hug if you need one. Gabbie is also so sweet; she will get the job done almost as soon as you ask it of her. Our experiences with this community were mixed. Overall I loved the spacious floor plan of the one-bedroom loft we lived in for about a year. It was more or less quiet. We could rarely hear our neighbors but heard trucks from the road often. We were on the 4th floor and without an elevator the moving in and out was a pain, but overall not an issue for us.I have to agree with a fellow reviewer regarding the management issues at this property. My partner and I assumed another tenants lease and while one might expect this to be a seamless transition we encountered a variety of issues. Upon moving in the leasing office gave us a phone number to call in order to set up all of our utilities, gas and electric. While our electric was set up without a problem it took almost 2 months of back and forth confusion to get the gas into our names. The gas company was saying they were not getting the authorization or the information they needed from the apartment complex to transfer the utility. We were charged late fees each month this was not done correctly. The last straw with the complex was with our move out. Somehow our electric at the unit was not switched out of our name when our lease ended. Georgia Power has charged us for 2 months electricity beyond the end of our lease! The bills for each month were at least $100! When I contacted Cambridge at Buckhead they said that our old unit has been vacant since we left. Then why is there $100 usage when we turned everything off at move out? I have attempted for over a month now to resolve this issue with Georgia Power and Cambridge at Buckhead (including calling corporate and leaving messages), but now in order to prevent this bill from going to collections I am stuck paying it. The worrisome part of this issue is that Cambridge at Buckhead refuses to accept their legal responsibilities. As a lawyer, and as dictated by common sense, once a lease term ends the tenant has absolutely NO liability or possessory rights of the owned utilities of the building. It is simply outrageous that the corporate management company will so easily escape their responsibility. With all of this said, Diego is awesome and very kind and a pleasure to deal with. He was lenient with us once when our rent was late. Its a great location and parking is included, which was nice. I enjoyed living here but the headaches were unnecessary! A fellow reviewer summed it up nicely by calling their charges suspiciously vague. The vagueness of charges combined with these weird utility issues that I have never experienced elsewhere causes me to raise an eyebrow!

Please read this review and do NOT lease here. I had to live there for 3 years after a divorce. It started out ok, but quickly became uninhabitable. In three years, I never once had a full summer with a functioning air conditioner - it was routinely over 90 degrees inside my 3rd floor unit, despite having $300 power bills. The air conditioning still has never been fixed. When, having little other choice, I had to sign a lease renewal, the leasing office conveniently lost my original signed lease before giving me a copy and refused to honor the lease amount - they jacked my rent from the $1300/month I signed to over $1700/month.Frankly, the only reason I havent sued them (Im an attorney) is because (a) I dont want to spend the time and effort to do so and (b) I never want to think about this apartment complex again. Please, please, please, do not lease there.
