I moved in here on 7/15/2021. Upon completed moving in, naturally there were some issues that required minor adjustments such as water heater temperature set up and repairs of a few power outlets. Surprisingly enough, the crew of maintenance came to my apartment 2-3 hours after I filed request for repair on the same day, Saturday. This was a good surprise and since then I live with comfort and satisfaction. AT
Moved In June didn’t even have my place ready and I came 15 hours away ! Apartment was still bad when I moved in but it wasn’t any turning back . AC STAY BROKEN which made my bill high . Gates stay broken and backed up . They never fix anything . My apartment is leaking everytime it rains so mold is EVERYWHERE and they just want to paint over it . ( I have the voice mail) . They knew I had babies and still put me over people who complain then giving me complaints saying I need to sit my kids down all day basically. To let the person below me study at 11am in the morning. They came into my apartment while I was gone and took my AC unit that I spent my own money on and still have yet to bring it back to me . Saying they THOUGHT it was theirs knowing good and well they never brought anything to me . But that was last month when I told them bring it back .
Easy process of moving in. Emily was nice nice to deal with. This summer is hot. Wish the water park and pool was open at the apartment complex. Also I wish the gate will remain closed instead of it being open all day. Overall experience is great so far.
Tanisha was amazing from the Start of finding My Apartment to the time I signed the Lease and got the keys to my dream home thank you so much for making it a easy and swift transition. Will definitely spread the word and recommend others.
Update!! The furnace repairs are complete. We have hot water in week two. We had to wait an hour for the carpet to be installed after our move in time. My agent was responsive and accommodating with our unique needs.
It’s unfortunate but this place was not move in ready. Not only was there a number things that needed to be fixed (toilet didn’t flush, door knob was broken, plus a myriad of other issues), but it also had an unyielding curry smell embedded in the walls as if someone had just cooked the day before. We were assured this would be handled before move in (the next day), but it wasn’t. Because of this we still have not moved in.In addition, the customer service when we went to ask about this lack of readiness of the unit, was unbecoming. It was told that we had signed a lease (the lease was provided before the leasing agent had even stepped foot in the apartment to see the state of it) and that it will get done when it gets done. There was no apology about the state of it.Here’s to hoping that it is resolved this third time around. If not, we plan to escalate to corporate and/or break the lease because any place who is willing to lease using these practices is not where home should be.Complex is lovely but be sure to ask to see it before move in.
Tuesday July 6th the kitchen faucet has stopped working. We have put in a service request on Tuesday and no response. I had to do another service request a couple days later. No one reach out about the problem. I had to go into office Friday to explain the issue and they have sent out maintenance that day Friday. I was told by maintenance they will come back out Saturday to replace faucet. Which they change out the faucet Saturday but didn’t tell me that it’s still not working. I went up to the front office on Monday and was assured they will come Monday. One of the lady at the front office was not pleasant by the way. I was fortunate to see maintenance and he said he will come Monday after noon and that the problem with plumbing and it will be fixed. Today is Wednesday July 14th, a week later and no one has not came by or even call to let me know how this issue will be fixed. We are unable to cook and use the kitchen sink. Been spending extra money eating out because the kitchen is an inconvenience. Also had family in town for the weekend and wasn’t able to cook with groceries that was bought. Had to eat out. Can someone please call me and let me know a update and to get this problem fixed today.
Overall Dunwoody Village is a very nice community. Emily was absolutely wonderful to deal with and made our move-in go very smooth. Its a very peaceful place to live and 99% of our neighbors are amazingly friendly. As mentioned in some other reviews, there are some issues with access to the amenities, as well as drivers who speed and run stop signs. If it werent for those issues, I would rate 5 stars. But I have recently spoken with the regional in-charge at the current management company (Highmark) and they are very responsive to resident concerns. I feel confident these issues will all be resolved soon as Highmark has very high standards. We are very happy here and plan to stay for some time.
Apartment we moved into was not clean - carpet werent recently vacuumed (hair from old resident everywhere), blinds were dirty, walls had black markings, etc. We didnt have the keys to our storage door for 2 weeks after moving in.Lastly, the problematic items that were marked in the walkthrough forms were supposed to be entered into the maintenance portal by staff and addressed in a timely fashion. However, we manually submitted separate maintenance requests to address the critical items asap. We are very disappointed in our move in experience. The apartment should have been more ready for new residents, and if there were issues found, the staff should help to expedite these requests and not the new residents themselves.
Horrible place!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is constant car vandalism. The office staff has poor documentation. There have been multiple fires on the premises. The have been at least 3 fires since I have lived there. My neighbors apartment caught fire and my smoke detector did not go off, even though it had just been inspected. If you value your life, your belongings and your sanity then do not move here.
Love it! I really feel at home. Every thing was perfect. I’m happy to be apart of this community. Hope I get to meet some of my neighbors. The community is beautiful. My home is spacious. I just love it.
Emily is a the GOAT in leasing office!! So far good! The apartment is good space! The neighbors are nice. Its in a nice area as well. The amenities, like the gym i cant wait to use!
Growing mold everywhere and we’ve been calling them to fix things for over two years and they have done nothing worst Maintenance response ever, the gates are always broken, the pools are always dirty, all they do is plant flowers and bushes, but don’t actually help fix the apartments, our bathtub paint has been peeling off for over a year and they still haven’t fixed it, my mom has lung cancer because of breathing in mold and they still have shown no attempts to help fix the problem in over 2-3 years honestly the most disgusting foul apartment ever we don’t have light fixtures in two of our rooms there growing mold on our clothes and our cabinets are falling apartment
Its a great community. Very spacious area for walking and greenspaces. Nice amenities like having a car wash and a laundromat just in case. Only complaint is that the office is hard to get into contact with. Basically need to show up at the office instead of calling.
A routine check up for fire extinguishers was done about 5 months ago. After I went to the office several times someone finally came to pick up the extinguisher. I still have not received my new one
I provided the leasing office with a list of things that needed to be addressed from my walk-through from April 22; however, NOTHING has been address and the month is June 9. I am not sure what the hold up may be but I still have to play with my door lock to open my front door. I see maintenance will be a problem with this apartment complex.
Sharing the discrimination I experienced with this place. Office person reached out to me to see if I was still looking for a place and I told them yes and how soon. She asked my price point which aligned with what was on the website when I looked prior to responding. Not even 30 minutes after telling her my price point the website was updated and increased to almost $200 dollars more. Didn’t even get a response back from her after telling her my price point. I call that discrimination. Making a place unaffordable to keep certain people out. It’s ridiculous.
Moving in has been amazing. Emily helped us so much with everything. Already love the community and my new home
I was without air from May 13th until May 24th when the maintenance team finally showed up. I made 4 calls to the office putting in ticket after ticket. In the middle of hot summer days and nights, your team did not act quickly enough to resolve this issue. It was deplorable in how it was handled.
Ive lived here for just about a month. The application/move-in process was a bit wonky because of the pandemic, but overall everyone in the office was very polite and responsive.NOTE: You will rarely be able to reach the office by phone. If you need something, its much easier to email them, submit an online maintenance request or drop by in-person.The complex feels very safe, and I like how its a very walk-able complex. The outsides of the buildings can look kind of dirty and a bit run-down, but the actual apartment is pretty nice. They arent super fancy, but theyre nice. And with the right decor, you can definitely make the place look great.I had one maintenance request so far. I submitted it online around 4pm one evening, and then about noon the next day someone was out to fix it. I was honestly surprised at the quick response time, given the size of the complex.Really the only issue Ive encountered so far is that the dog park can tend to look a bit uncared for (broken, rusting fixtures; gaps in the fencing where a dog smaller than 30lbs can definitely escape out of; poop bag dispensers are rarely refilled) and that there seems to be a real lack of doggy waste bins around, so Ill easily go on a 30 minute walk and have to hold my dogs bag of poop for half the walk.OVERALL: Nice apartments for a good price, lots of amenities, attentive polite staff. Id definitely recommend this place to friends.
I just moved in and I’m really disappointed. They said my apartment was ready to go but that clearly wasn’t the case. The day I moved in my heat did not work (they hadn’t turned the furnace on), my sink had a slow leak (hot water), the upstairs toilet had to be fixed (constant running), along with some other things. I gave Emily in the office a list of things to have fixed before I moved in and they still had not taken care of them but they were happy to take my money though. Now there’s an electrical problem that affects half of the the lighting and electrical upstairs and the heating and cooling people cannot come until Monday. The heat/air doesn’t blow upstairs and wont heat nor cool. It’s literally cold at night. I’m nearing 8 months pregnant and should not be having to deal with these type of issues for an apartment I was told was ready and practically rushed into getting my paperwork and payments in for when it is clearly NOT ready. There are screens that needed replacing, sockets that don’t work, the garbage disposal was not working and the hose to the ice maker needs to be replaced. This is absurd.
In November, my husband and I will have lived at Dunwoody Village for 10 years. TEN. I know we dont hold the record but there are a lot of other choices if we werent satisfied. We have owned two houses previously in Dunwoody and we enjoy this community and closeness to Atlanta. I-285 couldnt be more handy but it is rare to hear interstate noise because the trees buffer us. I take classes at Georgia State and have the convenience of three nearby MARTA stations to choose from. My husband works from home and so has his finger on the pulse of what its like around here during the day. Our apartment does not have up-to-the minute remodeling in the bathroom and kitchen but we would pay twice our rent to get that somewhere else. What we do have is a large master bedroom that easily fits a king bed and more (have you looked at new apartment room sizes these days?). We have never had problems with maintenance being response. Not even at midnight when our upstairs neighbors water heater broke and rained down through our hall ceiling. Weve been through three complex name changes and at least that many (maybe four?) management companies, and somehow this place has continued to be one of Atlantas best kept secret bargains.
CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT! THE APARTMENT WASNT MOVE IN READY. THE PAINT JOB WAS REALLY BAD. THE FLOORS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLEAN BETTER.
It’s a great property with a great staff it’s just some times you have to call about the same issue multiple times. Nothing major
My maintenance request was handled well by the office. Good job! And the maintenance call itself was great. He really did a good job and went above and beyond. Helped with a small mold issue. Thank you!
From the outside it looks great
Moved into townhome. Submitted list of maintenance items on Aug 6th. Drawback had to submit maintenance requests several times, last request submitted Aug 24tj Attempted to visit property manager on Sept 8th to discuss no feedback or response regarding over 30day maintenance request org submitted Aug 6th. Detour by office staff Letisha who just pulled up request from Aug 24th and insisted that request was not over 30days. Office staff member did not know all the details at the same time the unfriendly customer service response was not necessary---that maintenance request was not over 30 days for which it WAS.lMaintence completed all work Sept 8th.Kiddos to Caroline (asst Community Director) who provides friendly feedback responses, available for concerns and request, ensuresresults!?!
Maintenance came in a decent amount of time to fixed backed up garbage disposal.
I had a great move-in experience! Expect, I fell down the stairs today (haha) Caroline has been very helpful to us.Update: Great place! I have been here since October 2020, and have really enjoyed my experience. Maintenance is responsive and helpful, parks and stores near by are safe.
Excellent condominium, its perfectly conditioned for the community, its great, a few days ago I moved and I really like my new home🏡
Jacquez and the Dunwoody staff was very responsive and always updated me promptly throughout this process I can’t thank him enough!!!
I have enjoyed my time at Dunwoody Village. The apartments are affordable for the area. It is great to live off of the highway, literally. The only thing I am not a fan of are the roaches. I know we live in an area with a lot of trees and green life but its been a little overwhelming. Other than that, my experience has been positive overall.
I loved living here, so much so that I would love here again. It was very quiet, super spacious! Never had any issues. Maintenance resounded quick and they sprayed for bugs often.
The repairs were not completed. So if I have to review based on a lack of work the score will be low.
I’m enjoying living here, but am disappointed with the slow response when asking for pest control service which I pay for monthly. To be required to pay for a service and not receive it is unethical. I received immediate response from a maintenance request about the garbage disposal. The worker was kind, courteous and efficient. He fixed it within ten minutes. I’m very thankful for that.
I lived there a few years ago and it wasn’t too bad...the gate was always inoperable due to residents and their guests and the traffic in the area sucks..they will find away to take SOMETHING out of your deposit at the end of the lease but I can say it was peaceful there..neighbors easily intimidated also
I don’t even have a proper word to describe their service ! This is the worse . I have been living in this apartment over 3 years . And I can’t get a hold of the manager . Every time I go with a issue all the staffs working there they only know saying our manager is the one does that . I will have her call you back or call us after this or that time . Manager never follows up, and when we call back again we hear same stories either manager is not in the office or in a meeting . This has been going on for months . If you ask for corporate number they will not give it to you . They will say they do not have it . They even lose your file . They told me they can’t find my file . I will never ever recommend this apartment to anyone just because of the service from the leasing office .
Pros:The location is good, its right near the highway and 15-20 minutes from downtown Atlanta.Spacious units for the price.Friendly leasing agentsCons:The gate constantly stay broken ( the complex need to invest in a better gating system, maybe a metal gate arm to prevent people from tailgating)Trash system could be better ( at times the trash pile up)Maintenance are friendly but could do a better job with fixing the issue the first timeParking is horrible, if you come home after 7 pm theres barely any spots in some areas
Emily is the best ! She was very professional and made me feel very welcome. When I have a question or concern she’s always responsive immediately.
I just leased a place here Tabitha made my experience smooth an flawless. I’ve lived at some of the nicest apartment homes in Georgia an this place most definitely sets a new level for 5 star Dunwoody apartment. Super easy to work with even with the epidemic going on Tabitha made the process easy.
Terence In the Maintenance is awesome! Very professional and friendly and efficient. Always address concerns quickly - very happy with the service they provide.
I just want a new fridge, carpet and tub. Other than that its an affordable place to live. Quiet no problems with neighbors. I would recommend to others
Landscaping is terrible around apartment door. Never no where to park. A lot of big dogs in the community and tenants refuse to clean up outside after there dogs. Dog poop everywhere!!! Been here for seven years, started out as a very nice complex but over time with different management changes every year it has only gotten worse.
I have lived here since 2006 and have been happy. I love my apartment. I know we will have some problems at times but basically its a nice place to live.
Great service, they all work so hard on making our move happen, thank you all and especially Emily that work so hard to find the perfect place to call home.
Horrible management, the property is always filthy. Hallways always have trash. Maintenance request are Never fulfilled on a timely manner( took 3 weeks for them to repair water leaking from my ceiling). Pools are always closed. Front Gates are never working. AND THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. The only good thing is that rent is cheap but now you know why.
Very great staff...They was on point and very well organized....my apartment is great..Thank you for a very nice moving process... I would give 10 stars if i could
Called to say I had scheduled an appointment for Thursday but was wondering if I could come in today and Abby replied with “for what... exactly?” I guess the staff here doesn’t understand the need to visit a complex before signing a lease. She continued to give me a big attitude, not listen to anything I was saying then placed me on hold for 10 minutes before I finally just hung up. Wouldn’t recommend this place. The reviews all sounded bad but I chose to ignore it. Very disappointed with them but glad to find out from a call how they are so I don’t waste my time driving out there.
I’d give this complex negative stars if I could. The first day you’re moving in is the nicest you will see them.. after that prepare to receive a ton of attitude from the women working in the leasing office. They NEVER answer the phone and when they do they’ll have a sassy tone and even hang up rudely. Front Gates always broken and I do mean ALWAYS. Windows and vents have mold and they don’t do mold testing if you complain they literally spray it and wipe it and it comes right back I don’t believe it is properly treated. Over all this is the worst complex I’ve lived at so far and I can not wait for our lease to be up so I can get the heck out of here!
Move in ready unit... bring your handy man and cleaning crew! Don’t bother with maintenance they don’t know what they’re doing lol I have my own maintenance guy ... everything else is ok.
No one showed up. Repair not resolved.
It two weeks for maintenance to show up.
This time, office took more than 10 days since my reporting to send maintenance personnel over to my unit to fix a leak. Hopefully, it will be an exception from my overall satisfying experience.
Could use some updates. Some carpet cleaning but it’s affordable and reasonable to live here. It’s quiet and the staff has a sense of urgency when it comes to repairs so that is good enough for me for now
I adore the office staff and maintenance department. The maintenance department itself is worth every penny I pay for this complex, I’ve put in four work orders in the two months I’ve been here and all of them have been handled in less than 24 hours!!!! Thank you guys for making sure our apartments stay fixed, you are greatly appreciated !
When we first got here was a really good apartments and a good place and environment to live, now is garbage, you don’t even find spots to park.... Personally I don’t recommend this apartments. Most of the time The entrance don’t work and anyone have access to the residence...Rats around the gym... moving soon.
Love the apartments so far. Job well done Tabitha for being what customer service is all about. My Unit is really nice and going great so far.
So far I have had a great experience at Dunwoody Village. My move in was handled smoothly by Tabitha. I have only had one maintenance request and it was fixed quickly. Parking is never a problem. The leasing office is communicative about any community maintenance or other important information. It is a quite complex with lots of trees and river running through the middle. I look forward to renewing my lease for another year.
I’ve been at this complex for 8 years and in that time I haven’t asked for much but now my apartment is in serious need of updating. I’ve been a loyal, on-time paying resident for 8 years what else do I need to do for management to invest a little bit of that money back into the apartment.
I was thinking of moving here. But the comments have me worried about the trust worthiness of staff and request for maintenance. I dont like having to nag people to do their job in a timely manner. i believe tenants should be able to trust and rely on property management and staff and it doesnt seem like that is the total case here.
I recently good my unit service by Terrance and the service was great.
I had no electricity in the master bedroom, and they had an electrician come out and he fixed it in a couple hours.
Living here for couple more than a month, I like the gym and although never been to the pool, it seems a nice environment and people are always there having fun. The wifi at cyber cafe is really good (which helps whenever we have to do laundry and spend some time over there). The laundry machines aren’t my favorite thing, but I’m glad that they are offered. Nice neighborhood and I’m always well received whenever I need to talk with administration.
New inconvenience every month
Some errors were fixed. Since then we changed management again. They are even worse issues than before. Constantly over flowing garbage sites. They continuously press residence with new policy letters but fail to maintain the grounds and amenities. Out of 3 pool only one opened since I have lived here. Then it only open when the summer was had already gotten well underway. Lost paperwork. Most of the apartments are really outdated with very few remodeled units. All the while raising prices. I would gladly pay them to avoid moving again if it was worth it but at this point the last 2 years here haven’t been pleasant. I would not recommend this place. The only plus side were location an price but even that is becoming a non factor.
ITS NOT SAFE! Management has NO concern for your safety or cares to help in any way! We got our car broken into on the property and my keys were stolen out of the car. So now a thief has the key to my apartment, so we are no longer safe. They told us it would be $50 to change the locks even though we were broken into on their property, which is completely ridiculous. Yes, I understand that if I lost my key that’s one thing, however, not when the community isn’t safe and they have people breaking into cars and stealing my keys. I had to deal with my car being towed to get new keys and the cops that we were not able to get to it that day, which was Friday. On Saturday I call to get the locks changed and pay the $50, but now apparently there is only one maintenance worker on the weekends and tenant safety is not a priority. The fact that there is a thief, who probably lives in this complex, that has a key to my house is not a concern for them. Iv called multiple times to voice my concern and no one cares. It’s embarrassing. We also explained how we were planning on extending our lease another 3-4 months and asked why they couldn’t take care of the $50 for us since our things were stolen on their property. They continue to not help and we said well I guess we won’t be extending our lease and the manager said “sorry you feel that way”. So, they are sorry that they would rather us pay the $50 and leave the apartments rather than get another $3,600-$4,800 from us for the next couple months....? What a horrible business model these people run. They don’t know how to manage and they just lost the company thousands of dollars over changing our locks from getting our stuff stolen on their property! They are LAZY and don’t care to get up and help out a tenant who is very concerned for their safety, as I should be! It has to take no time at all to change a lock on a door and they just refuse to do it. It’s disgusting.DON’T MOVE HERE! YOU ARE NOT SAFE AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY!
New equipment was installed by a flapper and flush handle valve however the deteriorated and corroded flush handle bar was left in the bottom of the tank so the new flapper will not seat properly because of all the debris that’s still in the toilet
I love it here ! Thanks for the amazing apartment
The maintenance team is top notch.
Tabitha !She’s:Quick at responsesVery kind and humble spiritedLooks out for your interest when seeking a new home.I got matched up with her during my leasing process. She was amazinggg. I don’t know about all the other agents, but this one here! She was great at follow up (email is her preferred method if you want speedy responses) phone she gets to as well. She understood exactly what I was looking for and kept me updated on all changes. She was great from start to end. Great first presentation of the company!
Unfortunately I have to give them a 1 star I don’t believe they deserve even that. I had an appointment schedule to view a unit upon arriving on site the leasing specialist Adrianne was not welcoming and had a attitude. First when i called earlier in the week and schedule an appointment with a Velma we discussed the unit number i was interested in as well as set a time to view the unit. When i arrives on site Adrianne said no one by that name works for the location or the company was only a resident advocate that lives on the property even tho she was the person that scheduled my appointment. There’s a sign on the door that states face mask are required to enter the leasing office which both my partner and I had but was still not allowed to enter. While waiting outside in the extreme heat waiting on Adrienne to finally come back to tell us both units we had just inquired about a day previously had been rented but we were never notified about this. I then asked for a district manager number and adrianne said she didn’t have a number but i can feel welcomed to look it up myself online. My partner and i decided to leave as if this is the treatment a potential resident receive i wouldn’t want to be a permanent resident dealing with the unorganization and rudeness that was displayed by their leasing agents.
The team at my community is great! They’re fast and efficient and the turnaround time with maintenance has been the best I’ve ever experienced. The team in the office helped me move in within a 3 day turnaround from signing due to an unforeseen circumstance I ran into at a different apartment complex. My leasing consultant answered all of my questions and stayed late in the office just for my roommate and I to complete the application/move-in forms. I dont know where I would have lived if it wasnt for them!My current apartment unit is slightly outdated which is why I gave it a 4-star. One of my gas burners unfortunately will not work, I had to get outlets updated to accommodate my appliances, and the walls and floors are very thin. I can hear most conversations/noises from outside and from my neighbors, and can hear every footstep above me. My window frame in my bedroom shakes from time to time because of the weight above my unit. Other than those things, the experience here has been wonderful!
Very good environment, friendly staff. Great price for area and squire feet. More change done by new management to improve environment and maintenance. Issue with some neighbours not curbing after their dogs.
Has not been resolved central air not working
The one star is for how nice my townhouse looks. Everything else is trash. Leasing office never returns calls, emails etc. Maintenance steals from your home and they dont take responsibility for it. The management group is even worse they dont do anything about anything either. There was a flood outside my home for weeks before it started flooding into my building.. muddy water everywhere.. no one ever addressed it or came to clean it up. For the price of these homes there should be security and more cameras.Packages get lost at leasing office.I would not recommend leasing here unless its your only option.
I am not one for doing reviews but I have honestly had a great experience so far thanks to Tabitha! From the very first visit all the way through the signing of my lease I felt very welcomed and the place is so great! The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe so far. I’m very happy with my decision.
I have lived here since April 2018 and I am just loving it. The management is very helpful and responsive. Also when it comes down to community features they are just amazing and very close to nature complex with all modern facilities
I love these apartment. Thank goodness their approval is strict because everybody would apply. Same day maintenance, Managers at attentive. My one bedroom is large and spacious. And besides the neighbors dogs my area stays pretty clean and quiet. Glad I found the place.
Nothing was done in front of my apartment. Please revisit the request.Thanks.
I am not sure about anyone elses experiences, or even how valid they are but I can assure you my experience with Tabitha at Dunwoody Village has been nothing but exceptional engaging and energizing. I say exceptional because of how many times Tabitha and the apartment community went above and beyond to assist me. I say engaging because they actually took time to get to know what my needs and desires were. I say energizing, because when youre in a transition with your life... Its important to keep your vibration high and your energy High. Working with Tabitha and the management team gave me new life New Hope and New energy to complete the transition. Oftentimes people get weary in well-doing, tired of the process, and maybe even want to quit and give up. If you have not found the right living situation, give Tabitha and Dunwoody Village a shot. Malls, churches, restaurants, and most importantly safety... What more can a person ask for. I saw firsthand yesterday the reason why the gates were not working is because people try to manipulate going through them. Like anything, if you go against the grain of a thing complications arise. I am not a paid actor, I am not a paid spokesman, Im a real client who has clients. I understand the importance of customer service and the value of knowledgeable and experienced staff. Shout out to Tabitha and the management team at Dunwoody Village.!-WILL
Great apartment, has some issues but you usually do with complexes. The gate sometimes doesnt work on the right side for entering. I recieve packages just fine, no problem so far with them getting stolen.
I like the apartment its nice and quiet. However hardly you will get any feedback from the staff regarding any concern you have. Staff need to be more responsive. Other than that good price for nice area.
I lived here for six years. In all that time, the security gate worked maybe 10% of the time. Blame that on the a-holes who try to tailgate in and break the gates.Despite the description, I wouldnt call them luxury apartments. But theyre decent for the money. Its a convenient location and affordable for the area. For years, management was awful. The office staff was indifferent and sometimes rude. However, the last year I was there, the leasing agents and management were much more responsive and helpful.
Average quality of apartments and average customer service provided by the leasing staff. Pool closures over the summer with kids were disappointing. I appreciate the new lighting upgrades as it was very dark on the path from the parking area to my apartment in the evenings when I moved in. Keep up the resident events! Better communication, faster completion of service requests, more smiles in the office, and more resident events will make this 5 stars. Nonetheless, thank you for what you all do.
Where to start (This has been a long time coming) Ive been here for one year, and things do not get better, they keep getting worse1) Impossible to get them on the phone unless you are trying to rent a unit.2) When installing ATT fiber infrastructure, they unlocked every door in our building and LEFT THEM OPEN UNSUPERVISED. I got a notification my door was wide open at work, and drove home to find out why.3) When you renew your lease your automatic withdrawals stop, because their system screws up, and instead of kindly reminding you to pay/late fee, They threaten you with eviction.4) Gates are always broken, people can just drive in and steal packages or worse. And many more, Bottom line, skip this place on your apartment search.
Maintenance help please?
I must say... I love my apartment!! When they say something will get done.... that’s what they mean!!! Go ask for Shamara Curtis!! She is very direct, honest and will work to accomplish what you sat out to do!! Thank Ms. Curtis
This community is very quiet, safe, and the staff are very personable and willing to assist residents. The down side is the lack of modern updates. Many units, and mine in particular, are extremely outdated and just plain old. The price is great but I would not recommend this place.
Jordany is awesome to work with!!! I applied on a Monday (with a request for an immediate move in) and by Friday I had my keys. He has been super responsive and the repair requests that I had after moving in were completed within 24hrs. Awesome value for the area and price. Im a fairly new tenant but so far so good!!
Ive been here going on 3yrs and even with new management these guys repeatedly drop the ball on their priorities. From a proper gate, amenities working efficiently and consistently (3 pools but 1 worked since Ive been here),theyve left a mess due to construction on the property as an eye soar in front of my unit, they DO allow aggressive breeds as long as you have a friend on the inside. Im sick of it.They had the audacity to flag my husbands car for his tag expiring when the car was parked and in good condition but fail to fix the broken lights that leave our area dark in the evenings. OVER it.
Staff is super friendly and they gave us a tour even when it was pouring down rain and the office just closed.Places where cute too, very cottage like in the area of the complex we were viewing. Things we noted that might be helpful to you though:1. The area is safe, but the demographics of the community might make the area seem less safe than it is. Meaning for instance, I could see the appeal for single mothers, maybe college students with larger animals, or even newly married yuppies living here. Those are the three groups criminals target the most, and alot of these buildings are not that tall, so make sure you get yourself a security system here to be safe.2. Its incredibly wooded in this area, so there could be some issues with molding or bugs depending on how youd keep your unit here. I wouldnt depend on an apartment complex using their own resources alone, to prevent either of those two issues real talk. I think investing in some heavy duty, yet environmentally safe bug repellent, and maybe even a humidifier (to control humidity and monitor it) here would be a fantastic idea.3. Almost every unit we saw had a porch/patio. Intensifies the first two concerns, but also makes the place look more homey and nice. Overall the vibe was very relaxed. Great choice for the price outside of the perimeter. And hey, your friends inside the perimeter shouldnt complain about you living all the way in Tennessee, because its not very far from the perimeter. Just far enough not to be as expensive.
I recently just moved in to Dunwoody Village Apt my experience has been awesome thank to the leasing agent Tabitha she has been great every step of the way showing great customer service and great communication thank you Tabitha for everything. Great place to live good pricing safe area.
I was recently going through some personal trouble at home. The community manager, Chris, was very helpful and thoughtful to my situation. He was always available to talk to and when he wasnt he made sure to give a call that same day to make sure everything was alright. Thank you
This complex is ok for the price you pay, but amenities are terrible. They’re dirty, the gate hardly ever works, they take forever in servicing your apartment and I put a work order (4 days ago) for the trash can inside of the doggy park because there has been over 3 weeks since they’ve changed it and it’s still gross with all the poop bags on top because is overflowed.
I have lived here for several months now and I have really appreciated the front office staff! When there has been a problem, Justin has stepped in quickly to help fix it! Most recently, Chris was there to help with what could have been a more frustrating situation that what already happened, but she was able to help smooth it over! I have not had a bad experience with the front office staff yet!
Looks good from a distance but when you see it up close, its a dump. Mold, rats, raccoons and overflowing trash cans. If you can afford better do that.
The staff is absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and always willing to help with whatever issues I have. Fast to respond maintenance team and helpful front office staff. I love Dunwoody Village!
Absolutely the most beautiful community I have ever seen!!! nice people, awesome amenities, they have an outdoor movie tavern it is so cool and they have a huge water park and extra pool area for the kids!!! man the fitness center has an attached pool as well there are 3 pools on this property and all of them are functional at the same time lol!!! I loved being a temp at this property come see for yourself!!!
Ive just recently signed a lease in January of 2019. The apartment complex itself is really nice. The size of the complex, paired with the space between buildings, makes it feel more like a community than an apartment complex. The leasing staff were really great during the leasing part of the process. We did the walkthrough upon signing the lease, and unfortunately there were a number of issues with the unit. Most seem like easy fixes for the maintenance staff. We completed the walkthrough that Saturday, and I was promised the repairs would be completed that following Monday... Cut to almost a month later- and only one repair has been completed, which was replacing the bedroom door, due to the entire bottom being destroyed! The rest of the repairs just wait, with no actual ETA in sight. The property manager refused to talk to me, so obviously his tenants comfort (who have been super patient and reasonable up until this point), is not on the top of his priority list. The office will not call be back with a date. So Im just left to assume these will never be repaired.... no worries though, I love paying for an apartment that includes a refrigerator with ice maker - and then having to go to the gas station for a cup of ice (since the ice maker has never worked one day of renting the apartment)! Bad service indeed with the maintenance/office staff.
