Great location, nice apartment complex. Management isnt always the easiest to get a hold of, but youll find that at most apartments. Maintenance (Rodger) is wonderful - responds very quickly to service requests and always does a nice job. Overall, a good place to live!EDIT: I found out the unit above me is being renovated every day from 9am-5pm for the next 4-6 weeks. The construction noise makes it impossible to stay in the apartment. Management does not care and is not willing to reduce my monthly rent during this time period, even though I work from home and this dramatically disrupts my ability to live here. I no longer recommend this apartment complex - This shows that they care more about money than the wellbeing of their residents.

Justin was very helpful in making sure I got intouch with the person able to approve my renewal. He is outstanding and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new home.

**Update to previous review below**: My guy Roger in maintenance is a gem to the property. Hes always professional and easy to talk to when hes over to check-in on submitted work orders. Enjoying having a natural relationship with the team here at Ellington**Been living here since February of 21. The team has been nothing but helpful and customer service is unbeatable. Most recently, I lost my wallet in one of the staircases a few days ago in the complex. I received a call from Stephanie that night saying the wallet had been found and the 24hr security officer on duty will bring it up to my place. The small efforts go a long way.Very satisfied with my apartment, amenities and response time from management. Ashley from the Leasing Office is always helpful and a pleasure to speak with. Will most likely renew lease if Im still in Atlanta.

I’ve been living here since February 2020 and love my apartment and the amenities. Management was helpful when it was time to renew my lease however, getting ahold of someone in the leasing office has become difficult since new management took over. The phone almost always goes to voicemail and there has been once or twice where it’s taken more than 24 hours for me to get a call back.The maintenance staff is amazing! Roger, the main maintenance person, will even ask if I need anything else taken care of when it wasn’t on my original maintenance request. He’ll even stop me in the hallways to make sure everything is good in my apartment. It’s the little things that make a place great to live at!

The team here is awesome. Justin and Ashley are very knowledgeable and made my visit very easy and enjoyable.

Loving here since Jan21. The rebranding to Ellington (erstwhile 17west) is amazing.The renewed community center and poolside are awesome!

The staff here has done a remarkable job even with all the changes and upgrades they are making to the community. The communication has been on point; always keep the residents in the know. I like the monthly themed events to keep the community engaged. My hopes are they keep up the great work!!

Ellington Midtown is a great place to stay at. The staff is cooperative and always ready to help. Apartments are spacious and have all necessary electrical appliances pre installed. Target, Ikea and Publix being in the vicinity is very convenient for shopping.

The maintenance service here are fast and professional. Roger is good and very prompt in his work, all maintenance issues were resolved quickly. I am happy with services provided by Ellignton Midtown.

I had an appointment for a 2 BR apartment with JLynn. I was very impressed with how professional and incredibly knowledgeable she is. I very much look forward to making Ellington Midtown my new home. Maintenance name Roger came in to bring the new fridge over because the old one was broken. Brought in the new fridge fast and was efficient and nice!

I toured this community, and Ashley was so nice and helpful. The community is absolutely amazing and so much to do in the area. I can’t wait to call this place home in the fall.

Great location and haven’t had many issues with my stay thus far. Personally would prefer if they would update the following for residents:1. The gate is EXTREMELY outdated to enter the complex and doesn’t have a visitor call box to enter the date but has plenty ofGuest parking available.2. The elevator for residents seems to barely be hanging on by a thread due to how long is been in use. Seems very old.3. The key fob to enter the gate isn’t a “fob”. Instead it’s a lamented sheet of paper that has no way of staying on a key ring or any part of your car.4. The complex is currently renovating units but isn’t placing any care into the amenities such as the gym that need a lot of love. Dumbbells have been missing since I moved in, wipes always seem to be out, and no attention seems to be placed in that area specifically.

A great apartment complex with reasonable pricing and a lot of on-going positive and environmental friendly changes. Target and Publix are within walking distances and there is a beautiful park in front of the apartment where you can take a nice walk. JLynn was my leasing specialist and my interaction with her has been exceptional. If youre looking for a place to live near midtown, give this place a look.

If possible, I would give a 0 star rating. In all honesty, management is horrible. Please look elsewhere.

I love this place! Im always so impressed with how polite and kind the staff is. Ms.Jackie has to be one of my favorite. I usually see her in the community on my way out. This is a woman who keeps a smile on her face and is always a pleasure to speak to. If I have any issues with my home she is there to help or point me in the proper direction.

I came to a take a tour and Mariah help me look for a one bedroom. She is courteous and answered all my questions . She has great customer service and I couldnt be more satisfied. She is a very good person. The place was very spacious and the apartment had a wonderful view.

Seventeen West is a lovely community with a great team. I spoke with Ashley over the phone first and she was very pleasant and professional. I later had a tour with Ashley and she answered all my questions and I already felt at home! We are looking to move in October and this is definitely were we want to be. Close to everything and exceeds all of our expectations. Cant wait to call it home!

The entire move-in process from start to finish was more than convenient. My experience went smooth and stress free due to the representative Z. Miller. Her communication and customer service skills were superb! Even on the day of signing, Z. Miller gave me a tour of the community and ensured that I was knowledgeable of the amenities that were offered. Overall I was highly satisfied!

I was pleasantly surprised after touring 17 West with a delightful young gentleman recently. I will be moving to Atl in a few months and it is definitely on my top 5 list. Love the neighborhood/area, and the staff was super helpful and courteous. Its amazing how far a smiling face goes and the young man that lead my visit was simply adorable. Also prices were super competitive which makes my pocket book happy! Highly recommended!

Great resident. The neighborhood is quite. You can walk your pets and exercise in the gym. Maintenance request are completed quickly. Don’t worry, because you will never have to call about the same problem again because the maintenance workers are excellent. The leasing office employees always are available to assist you with a warm smile.

I’ve been here a few months now and my experience has been a pleasant one thus far. Anytime I’ve had a maintenance issue ( only twice) Jarmane is ALWAYS on his job. I’ve never experienced a maintenance tech who works as effectively as he does! His work is impeccable and I can truly appreciate that he cares about the work he does for the residents. Having employees like him makes for a more pleasant living experience for us residents! Kudos!!

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. It’s been 3 weeks and my application still hasn’t been completed. It’s impossible to get them on the phone. Entire complex smells like weed. Inside of apartments are definitely not representative of $2k/mo rent

This is a beautiful community. It’s always keep clean and wonderfully organized. I believe the grounds person name is Jackie and she does an exceptional job . She always nice and kind to the apartment residents .I love the decor in the front office even before remodeling can’t wait to see what they do next !!!

I inquired about a 2bedroom at this location. I was met with great service by Mariah.. She was very polite and gracious. Mariah was able to give me the details of the unit without looking at any documents. Additionally, she was like a built in travel guide. She knew of all of the eateries and attractions near by. She was also able to give me commute options to work. This is the type of agent you want working for your property; one that knows all the specs of the building and surrounding community. Although, I chose something closer to my job at a relative cheaper price, Mariah sold me and she was so professional and pleasant, I wouldve paid extra on the rent.

This property is alway Tidy. I just love Ms. Jackie she is such a sweet lady. I love how she pays close attention to detail and keep everything clean. This property is lucky to have her.

Editing to account for my experience since new management took over mid-2019.This complex is an absolute disaster and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. My husband and I have lived here for almost 3 years and are saddened to see how bad things have gotten since new management took over. We, as well as many other residents, have brought our concerns up to management, but they dont seem to care. We tried to give them a chance at the beginning, but nothing has changed. They care more about getting new residents in the door (often times people who dont really know whats going on in the complex) than keeping existing residents satisfied.There are many other complexes in the area that would be better suited for someone looking for a luxury apartment (this is not one) to call home.____________________________When I first started my apartment search with my fiancé, Seventeen West was one of the first places we toured. Right off the bat, we knew this was the apartment for us. The staff was friendly, the location was perfect and the apartments were really nicely renovated. After 1.5 years here, we continue to love it! Maintenance is always good about knocking out open requests and the grounds are nice and clean. I think my favorite part must be how thick the walls must be in our apartment. Once in, we can’t ever hear anyone and we rarely notice that we even have neighbors. It’s great!The only con is that there is a rent increase when you re-sign and it is only the slightly pricier side, but it is a great apartment. We will definitely be re-signing if price permits!

My roommate and I are apartment hunting and saw this place on apartments.com and decided we’d like to take a tour . I booked one for us a week in advance and was assured by the agent that I was confirmed and ready to tour on my selected date at my selected time. We arrived ready to tour today and after letting one of the leasing agents know we were scheduled for a tour, she and her coworker discussed amongst themselves (within earshot I might add) how “there weren’t any tours scheduled”, when I had my confirmation in my hand. The agent came back to inform us that we would have to reschedule because the tour “wasn’t confirmed” I asked her how I was supposed to do that and she replied “oh no we confirm with you by giving you a call”. Why wasn’t I called and why wasn’t that confirmation system discussed with me when I initially booked? Doesn’t make much sense to me. She urged us to try and reschedule with her at that moment but honestly her flippant attitude towards the matter (no apology for their lack of communication, etc) left a very bad taste in our mouths. It’s sucks because we were super excited to see the place, but she ruined it for us.

The apartment complex is nice, and Atlantic station is such a great area to live. Maintenance staff was prompt and friendly with resolving issues. I am giving three stars because throughout my stay here, the management/leasing office never answered my phone calls or emails. When my security deposit was only partially returned, they did not send a statement of charges and continue not to respond to calls or emails about it.

Ask for Donnie when you apply. I moved here from out of state and wasn’t familiar with the area. Donnie told me about all the residents and hot spots to hang out. He took his time with me and found the perfect apartment for me. I definitely would recommend moving to 17 W. Apartments.

Amazing location. Nice apartments. Only thing missing is more up to date equipment to the gym. They only have four dumbells. They should consider investing in a full dumbell station and updated cardio equipment like stair-master.
