I got a regular polish acrylic set and i’m not impressed at all. I wanted my index fingers to have another color but to add that the price would go from 35 to 60. Also to get them another length it cost money. So I told the lady I wanted to pay 35 and just one color. After that she gave me an attitude and did not put much effort into my nails. She just filed them and didn’t do all the steps other places do. When I was done and letting them dry she didn’t even check them to tell me they were done so i wasn’t sure and sat there a while. This place is overpriced and does not provide a good service. The younger lady did a better job on my friend but they are still overpriced for what you get.

I received a beautiful gel manicure. The staff was professional and did an excellent job. Their prices are very reasonable.

I’ve found the best nail place around by far! I’ve learned that they’re great at pedicures, but u need to find the right person to do your nails.

I can believe I wasted my time here not once, but twice. Both times I made an appointment ahead of time as I was on a tight schedule and BOTH times my appointment time was ignored and customers were taken in the order they arrived. The first time I waited the 45 minutes because I was there with a friend, second time I waited over half an hour and walked out. They respectfully shouldn’t make appointments if they don’t plan to honor them.

I’m currently a senior studying cosmetology, and am very close to being licensed. (cosmetology licenses include being able to preform any acts nail techs can. I have a very strong grasp on everything involving acrylic, i’ve been studying nails for almost four years now. 1,500 hours of education required, but a few hundred for a nail technician license for context. I’m currently above 1,400 hours.) however I’m not the best at application myself. I’ve gone to this salon twice before and I’ve never had an issue until now. I’ve had my acrylic set for about four weeks now with little to no lifting, however in this case, that isn’t the best thing. Last night, I did what I’ve been taught when it comes to removing acrylic nail that I have done multiple times before. My nails usually lift naturally before this. I didn’t want a refill since i’m a musician and need my fingertips back, and of course, I won’t pay for a service at another salon that I both know and have successfully done many times before.Here’s where it gets fun.I used my drill and filed off the gel polish and most of the acrylic, and soaked in 100% acetone for about 35-40 minuets. If my acrylic doesn’t lift on its own, this has always worked for me and came right off when my sister did it earlier that day. (We got our nails done together, it was a birthday present.) Well. I started using a pusher to start getting under the base, and it slipped under the apex of the nail. the top of the acrylic was sticky and gunky. i kept going and felt major pain, only to realize that the acrylic has broke half of my natural nail, and ripped it from the nail plate, and was hanging onto me by two small pieces of skin on the nail walls close to the free edge. No damage was caused to the matrix thankfully, so no permanent damage. I continued on the other hand to soak in acetone for around 50 minuets, and the acrylic would still not fully remove, just feel very gummy.I’m in no way going to make a serious accusation, this is simply a speculation from the knowledge that I do have. I believe the acrylic at hand was MMA. A type of acrylic that has been banned for use in salons by the FDA, but is a much cheaper alternative to EMA, which is the proper acrylic that is cosmetic grade. MMA has always been documented as being very harmful for your nails, and can cause injury.I got lucky to not have any overly serious damage since I did prep and soak the nail for removal (just a lot of pain), but *IF* this product is being used, another client may be oblivious and have not the same luck. This method has always worked for me, and worked easily for my sister with a different nail tech. I have never written a review before, but I feel as though this should be known for people to consider when looking for a salon. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

I dont get my nails done very often but I am still very picky. This is the best nail experience Ive had in york. The nails turned out super cute, they accepted 4 of us for walk-ins and did a thorough job. The prices were reasonable and they were upfront about extra charges.

Love this place. Employees are so professional and they have a wide variety of luxury manicures and pedicures. The prices are great. I got a basic pedicure and my eyebrows waxed for 32 dollars.

Made an appointment for 2:30. Showed up early at 2:15. Was told to wait outside which was fine for 30 mins to only be brought back to wait in the pedicure chair for another 45 mins. Then got moved again to a different pedicure chair not even cleaned. Why take appointments if your not going to even acknowledge it? I don’t even think they write them down just say “come in”. My advice find somewhere cleaner and better.

I tried this place because my regular guy was on vacation. “Andy” nonstop complained the entire time about the poor job on my nails. About them being thick! I told him I don’t want my nails thin and breaking. I get my nails done and want to relax after a long rough day at work, not hear a bunch of (you know the word). He tried to talk me into dip. As he was explaining it to me how it last longer and everything, a lady came in that just got them done 2 days ago, and were chipped up. I told him I will just stick to my gel polish, but he went on and on about it anyways. Bottom line is, it cost $20 more but obviously doesn’t last longer.He grind my nails down so thin, and put the polish on as thin as he could. I broke 2 nails within a week and my polish is all chipped off the tips after a few days. I won’t ever be back!

Unprofessional!! This salon willl take walk ins before appointments!!I was told the reason they made me wait the longest is because I wanted a fill in so my nails were different..smh..I thought it was a nail salon where anyone could get their nails done?!

My first visit to this salon and a technician named Andrew complained about the condition of my nails for nearly 30 minutes which were done in another salon. He told me that he will get my nails in back in great condition and promised to redo them within a week at no charge if they begin to lift. Actually, He was puffing. There was nothing wrong with my nails until he dipped them . Well, within the week my nails looked as if they had been dipped three weeks ago. They look horrible. When he did them the first time, He applied oil to my cuticle and I believe that this may have caused the problem or he just did not dip them correctly. I have had the dipping process done prior to going to vip and my nails looked fresh for up to 3 weeks. I returned to the salon for him correct the problem. He told me that he would charge me but if they would lift again within the week that he would give me a full refund. He lied to me initially why would I believe him again. Do not go to this salon. They only pretend to be friendly and helpful.

They were rough with my hands made me bleed. And they told me to get a pedicure when I didnt have the money I told them and they said to take money from my friend.They made my friend pay for more then she should have plus a tip. And a the next day she had an allergic reaction to the stuff they put on her legs. They didnt even ask her If she had any allergies

It was great! My nails lasted and they put lots of layers on my gel! The pedicure could have been better but overall they did a great job! i would recommend.

Called ahead and asked what spa amenities they offered I was told they do full massages and facials nails etc no hair though I wanted to treat my wife and mother in-law to a day of relaxation this is why I chose this establishment. However after sending my wife there they said they do not do massages or facials . So I was lied to on the phone . Where is the spa that is clearly in their businesses name? Just another nail salon if they are to be truthful! Regardless of my wife’s input on service and just for the interaction I had with them I’m very displeased !

One start is being too generous. My sister has been here before and really wanted to go for her birthday. I was due for a nail refill anyway and my normal nail tech was out for the weekend so I decided I would give it a try. So I call and make an appointment a day ahead and confirmed it the same day. We go into the salon and there are some walk ins. At my normal nail salon you’re greeted right away asked if you have an appointment and what you need if you don’t have an appointment. Here there was no greet until 20 mins of waiting. I told them we had an appointment and she said it would be a two hour wait. A TWO HOUR WAIT FOR AN APPOINTMENT?!?? Needless to say we left and tried a different salon not too far off (A&K Nails if you’re curious) the treatment there was way better. Don’t go here greeting your clients as they walk in is so simple don’t make people wait 20 mins and then let them know it’s going to be two hours especially if they have an appointment.

They were really friendly did a great job. However, when she ask if I wanted gems I told her no! She starts painting and a second later she starts putting gems on! A fill in is suppose to be $30 she charged me $40! Will not be coming back. They dont listen to what you say!!

Every single time I get my nails done there, they always do a bad job. I tried the owner, and other people to see if others would do a better job, NOPE all horrible. Going somewhere else from now on.

I have been getting pedicures for 20 years and this by far was THE worst one I have ever had!!The whole pedicure was 10 minutes long (from soaking to painting...I was in and out before the woman next to me even finished (started before me too) and all she had was a regular pedicure. When it came time to tip, it was not what he wanted so he threw the money back at me and said no. Do not even waste your money. Although if all you want is your nails painted and to not waste your money on a tip..this place is your place!

They are very thorough. I love the color selection they offer. I get the gel mani whenever I can, Never got a gel pedi though. It always clean when I go in. I enjoy getting my nails done there then any other Ive tried.

I love this nail salon. I go here all the time and I have never had any issues. The girls are awesome (and guy). Always friendly and professional. I always get the shellac on my nails. It lasts and keeps my nails hard so they dont break. I always get compliments on my nails and how long and pretty they are.Thank you. :)

Worst place ever. Made an appointment for 3 people a week ahead of time online. Called the day of the appointment and they confirmed that they are expecting us. We get to the salon and we are all waiting around. 20-minutes after the appointment time and Im still waiting. Why did I even come here?

Just brought both my daughters here for acrylic full sets. One daughter had a great experience and liked her nail tech and nails. Other daughter just the opposite. She asked for a silver flower and ended up with what looked like a gray blob. We actually asked for them to be removed. Her nail tech acted like she was being inconvenienced by our mere presence. How can one nail tech be so good and another in the same salon be so rude. We will not be back.

The lady who did my Pedicure is very friendly, but all the technicians are good at their craft.

My friend and I came into the salon last Tuesday to get gel manicures. Neither of our nails lasted until Sunday and it wasnt even a week. Definitely not worth 25$. They didnt even sit us next to each other and it was a girls night!

I had a gel mani and pedi and it was wonderful. I was so relaxed I could have fallen asleep. The woman who did my nails did an excellent job and I will try to go to her next time. Great experience! Much better than the other salon I went to before.

I moved to East York 1 1/2 yrs ago and started coming here for manicures. My last manicure a week ago the girl clipped my cuticles and on 2 fingers she cut my fingers. I have been nursing 2 infected fingers for over a week. I will not return and will need to find another nail salon
