Nail techs were so sweet. My nails came out perfect. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and I have to say I think this is my favorite set. Perfect shape and length. Service was fast and the tech was very gentle. Prices are very fair. I can’t say enough good about this salon. Go there!!

So my wife went to get a pedicure and before she even left she said I needed to go there. I got in that same day and was extremely happy with everything you get with the aromatherapy spa pedicure. The shop looks wonderful and everyone working was very professional.

I did not like my nails whatsoever, I got acrylic gel. They were way too thick. They are so think that it’s my third day with them on and they are already getting caught in my hair. My mother got a pedicure and they cute her nails why too short and uneven.

Worst experience. Came at scheduled appointment greeted as if I didn’t have appointment or they were unaware I had scheduled appointment. waited 20 mins after appointment time. Pedicure was mediocre than when it came to my refill instead of asking want i had previously on my nails they talked about it and acted as if it was a problem like they couldn’t do it instead of just communicating that with me. Very unprofessional!

Love my nails and the girls were very nice. Will return to get a refill. The design came from a website but she did a great job.

I went into get my nails painted with gel. I Usually go to another place every 2 weeks to get gel on my nails but decided to try somewhere local. The lady was rude and cut my nails down even when I asked her not to. As soon as I left the place I noticed 1 of the nails was peeling already. Called and they told me to come back in when I could and they would fix it. This was on Monday wasn’t able to go back in until Friday. I went in a gentleman fixed them ( by this point it was 2 nails). He was very nice and courteous. By Sunday the nail he had just fixed started peeling. Called them numerous times Monday with no answer and no call back. I’m assuming polish may have been old possibly as I have never had this happen. It is now Friday and still no call back. Very disappointed. Will not be using this salon again.

This place does a great job. Best salon I’ve ever gone to. My sister turned me on to them. I’ve even heard of other people traveling pretty far just to come get their nails done here. Everyone is very polite and I’ve never had to wait long when I make an appt. Sometimes you can be there for a while but it’s because they truly take their time and carefully do your nails and the result is always amazing. I usually show them a picture of what I want and they always make it spot on! Also, the product itself has lasted on my nails way longer than what any other salon would use. I highly recommend Top Coat.

New to the York area, and was happy to see this nail salon opened up right down the street from my house! Very friendly staff, cute salon, and they do great work and have affordable prices. I got a beautiful French gel manicure from Ruby and I love it! :)

I have been getting my nails done for 18yrs. Was a regular at another local nail saloon until they burnt down years ago, started going to a nail saloon close by. The last few months they were lacking. Id walk out with paint all over my fingers like my 4yr old painted them. Ive been here twice so far, they are my new regular spot. Both times my experience was above par. Ive gotten many compliments. Staff is friendly, shop is clean, designs are awesome. The picture is today, but the nails were done 2 weeks ago...its time 💜

The place is clean & nice. The workers are great too. This review would have been 5 stars, but when you call they say walk ins welcome & when you go one person is working & theyre all booked up.

I am not happy. The only good thing I can say is the price was cheap and the shape of my nail is great but the rest is down hill. To start I was there for 2 hours, a while hour of that time was the gentleman who was shaping my nails which again the shape of my nail was great. But when he started painting them is when we should’ve stopped. I have paint and glue all over my nail beds then he sits me in the back of the room where my nails are under a fan. That’s it a fan no black light to set the paint. And then he goes to do a pedicure for another client. For the next half hour of me sitting there no one asked if I needed anything or to check if my nails were done. He gets up realizes I’m still sitting there and said and I quote “ whenever you’re ready you can go” I felt my nails and wasn’t really sure if they were done or not but just assumed they were. As soon as I get to my car there’s a scratch in a nail. I will not be going back. They seemed to have no interest in me since I wasn’t a regular client.

Second time i have been here and i loved it ruby took good care of me my nails always look great they are clean and friendly and great prices i will be going back and also bringing in my family.

First time at this salon this morning for a pedicure. I booked through Facebook and got a reply right away. They didnt have anything available the day I wanted however were more than happy to get me in first thing the next morning and I received a confirmation right away. Very easy to book appointments. I ❤️ this salon!! Very inviting, clean and everyone is so friendly. Very well priced and they do a fantastic job. Highly recommend giving them a try. My feet feel happy!

I mad an appointment for 1pm for my nails to be done then I don’t get taken back until after 1:30 and then they have the nerve to tell me they don’t have the time to do what I’m asking for on my nails. Completely ridiculous. I understand they take a while but don’t schedule appointments and make someone wait when you don’t have time.

For nails alone I would give 5 stars but had to take off 3 due to the wait. I’ve been twice with an appointment and both times, I still had to wait. The first time the wait was 35 minutes and the second time 20 minutes. I understand that they are busy but so am I which is why I make appointments. They don’t seem to understand how their delays affect others since they don’t apologize either. The designs are beautiful and nail service quality as well. If you don’t mind waiting an extra 30 minutes even with an appointment, by all means go to this salon.

My daughter and I have been coming here for months and after bad experiences in other salons, I wont go anywhere else. Top Coat really cares about your satisfaction and does an excellent job of getting our nails done just the way we want them. They are super friendly and work hard to get everyone taken care of no matter how busy they are. The salon is very clean and spacious and the prices are excellent. Its understandable why they are in such demand but worth the wait. Thank you for always being accommodating.

This is my go to nail salon! Just had the Pearl Spa Pedicure. At the end they rub your feet & legs with hot stones. Then you get your feet soaked in paraffin wax. I recommend making sure its not too hot though before putting your feet in! Everyone there is great. Jj does my nails and Ana does my toes

Best nail place ever

I tried Top Coat because they had great ratings, but I’m very disappointed. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. My pedicure chipped the next day, the gel on my nails was all over my fingers and the color was uneven on the nails. In addition I got an infection in one of my cuticles, which has never happened with any other manicure I have ever had. Needless to say, I would not recommend this salon and will not return.

I have stopped here at least 4 times in the last month..they always say theyre too busy...today the hard no one waiting only 2 customers a d told me they were too busy..it would be a wait..I asked how long of a wait? Theyre answer.. a really long time..I will not go back..I dont know how they have such a high rating...

Okay, Im not one to pamper myself but after going to Top Coat Nails....i cant stop. The staff is awesome and the service is top of the line. Prices are reasonable and compared to others they are superb. highly recommended

Apparently their online scheduling calendar is NOT to make appointments. I made one for 5:45 on the same day, and when I got to the salon they told me I didnt have an appointment because they didnt check their facebook. They told me I would have to wait for over an hour. So Book Now and Make an Appointment does not actually mean book now and make an appointment.Edit: The confirmation part is implied because you, the business, made it an option to Book now and Make an Appointment by giving specific appointment times and options. What it should say is Contact us for an Appointment or Request Appointment, which would imply that the customer needs to wait for a confirmation from you. But further, if you arent going to confirm or deny appointments within a timely manner then those times should not be an option on your Book Now schedule.

First visit. Needed some repairs done on a botched set and JJ was awesome. Great conversation, and great work. So pleased with the quality. Will definitely be back!

Finally found a nail salon that I love! Ive been going here for the past few months and Im extremely pleased! I only have to get a gel fill every 3 weeks because Ruby is amazing! She makes my nails last 3 weeks... Idk what she does differently than other places but she nails it everytime!They welcome walk-ins however I make an appointment because I request Ruby.

Let me start out by saying I would give this place 10 stars if I could. My daughter and I got there after 7 pm on Friday and they were pretty busy. My daughter asked if they had time for 2 fill ins and instead of turning us away they said yes if you dont mind waiting we can take one in 30 mins and the other in an hour. They are scheduled to close at 8. I was nervous that they would rush since it was so close to closing time, but they did not! They took their time and did am amazing job! The best I have seen and I have tried many places. We will definitely be repeat customers!

I usually get purple nails done at top coat nails but wanted a change, so i got red with a design, again jj did a great job iam getting so many compliments, thanks again jj.

Id give 0 but then I wouldnt be able to post my review. It took over 2hrs for a dip manicure, which I did not receive. I was also given a regular nail polish top coat and not a gel coat. When I asked repeatedly for a gel top coat I was ignored. My nails look horrible!!!

2 stars because my polish looked goopy like a 4 yr old painted them.

I started taking my mom here after having a terrible experience with a well known nail salon further north on 74.My mom has MS and is in a wheelchair. This place is handicap accesible which is a must. My mom also has a permanently clenched hand which makes painting her nails challenging. This proved to be an issue at the other salon.Topcoat has ALWAYS accommodated her without us asking. They took the initiative. They have her sit in her wheelchair in the waiting area and bring all the necessary tools to her. I offered to transfer her to a chair at a station and they told me it wasnt necessary. They are so patient and kind with her that when shes here I know shell be taken care of even if we only get a gel mani. Everyone here is so kind and patient, I cant stress this enough.

The staff is SO friendly they welcome you as soon as you come in, the establishment is always very clean and have a great selection of colors, highly recommend this place!

I called at 1:45 pm today and told the woman i wanted to come in at 6 and she said she was going to write my name in the books and when i went in there suddenly my name was gone and not in the books.
