In the middle of the night in August on a Friday I woke up to a hot house. In the morning we called another company we had used before and they said they would probably not be able to make it out but would try......We had company coming over that Saturday night and would have to cancel if we could not find someone to come out. Our furnace quit working a few weeks ago, my husband called Cooks but they couldn’t make time to work on it. I told my husband I was going to call Kelley/Dawson because they had very good reviews. The receptionist was polite, understanding and actually listened to what I was saying. She dispatched Ivan within an hour. Ivan Treto was very knowledgeable and quick to find the problem. There has been a piece of plastic sheeting in one of my vents since I bought my home that rattled around any time the furnace or AC was running. My young children would wake up scared every night because of “the monster” in the wall. I was ready to cut the wall open to figure out what it was, but I mentioned the sound to Brian and in just a few minutes he had it taken care of. I’m thrilled!

My airconditioner had worried me for so many years. It was absolutely inefficient costing our family so much money each summer.. I was looking for a Trane airconditioner. Kelley & Dawson installed the new airconditioner so quickly and I couldnt be happier. Our new Trane Air Conditioner hardly has to run at all to keep our house cool and our electric bills have been less since our ac was installed. I highly recommend this company.

My air conditioner quit working end of last week. I found out the Evaporator Coil was leaking refrigerant and had been for some time. I had the choice to replace just the coil and leave the rest of the existing 18 year old system as is or just replace the whole system with new. I decided to go ahead and get a new system that will hopefully last for the next 20 years. My decision was between two companies offering very similar equipment at essentially the same price. Both companies were professional and responsive through the whole bid process. It was a tough choice to make as both companies were great to work with and both offered top tier equipment. Ultimately I decided to go with the other company over Kelley & Dawson but it was truthfully at no fault of K&D. I literally almost had to flip a coin! I ended up going with the other company in the end because they were the first ones I called and that I had come out. Also they could get to me just a week sooner. This really was not a huge issue though because both companies offered to get me fixed up good enough to stay cool until they could make it out to us. I wont mention the other company here as I feel K&D deserves all the recognition on this review. If anything falls through with the company I went with, I will be calling back K&D to move forward with them. I highly recommend that K&D should be called and considered for any HVAC replacememts or services. Called on a Sunday morning, on Valentines day, in a snow storm and temperatures below zero. Our heater went out at 3 am. Gage was there by 11 am and had it fixed within the hour or so. We are extremely grateful as the windchill were approaching -20 the next few days. I highly, highly recommend Kelley and Dawson Service to anyone.

Plenty of experienced techs, 24/7. K&D values their techs, check out Christmas on their Facebook page. Steve and Gage did my install. Always working while answering my questions. No lunch breaks together, 1 always working. Hauled off my old doghouse, which had nothing to do with my install. Even just the little things, like resetting my new thermostat to my preferred settings. Quote was so good, I added onto my total bill with more products/services. BJ the owner popping in and out, Michelle in the office always available to answer my questions, be it via email, phone call or text. This is exactly what you want in a company. And we all know, nothing stops a Trane.

The air conditioner was making a grinding sound and we called Kelley and Dawson in the evening. We got a call back immediately from Caleb who offered to come out that evening. We told him the next day would be fine and he promptly showed up the next morning, Caleb was very knowledgeable and because of the age of the unit and the way it tested we decided to replace it. We went with an entire system and it was installed within 3 days. Caleb and Gage installed the system and did an excellent job plus were done in about 6 hours with clean up and everything. Am very pleased with their service.This is actually the 3rd system that Kelley & Dawson has installed for me, not all the same house. I have been using them for approximately 35 years. They are on their 2 generation of management and obviously different technicians but every service has been excellent. When a company can maintain excellent service for 35 years that is the sign of a VERY GOOD company. I would use no one else!

Called several places I was recommended and everyone was saying after the holiday weekend. It was 80 degrees in my house and with heat advisory and indexes 105-110 I was really worried about not getting AC working. Called Kelley and Dawson and they worked me in. The gentlemen was extremely friendly and professional. Within 30 minutes had it fixed and up and running. I switched to Kelley & Dawson because at the time they had 200 Google reviews with an average of 4.8 stars. My former HVAC company had about 30 Google reviews with an average of 3.8 stars. The difference in the 2 firms was evident from the start. The demeanor of the entire organization was professional, friendly, flexible and attentive to customer requests.They replaced 2 AC units and 2 furnaces. Took about 7 hours. Thanks to Gage, Caleb, Steve and Brian. The inside of my house hasnt felt this comfortable for some time.If you are going to replace the AC in the summer, turn down the AC the night before. This will keep the house bearable longer while the change out occurs.

On Saturday July 20, one of the hottest days of the year, our upstairs air conditioner unit quit working. I immediately picked up the phone to Kelly & Dawson hoping they would be able to help. With summer heat on and many homes experiencing ac issues I didnt expect to receive service for at least a couple days. After speaking with the receptionist I received a call back from Caleb within two minutes. Caleb asked several questions regarding our issue to help diagnose the issue. Caleb then indicated he would arrive to our home within 30 minutes. Upon arrival he quickly and efficiently began to review our units and identify the issue. He was prepared with the correct part, reviewed our second unit recommending a quick fix and cleaned both units all within an hour. Last week BJ, from Kelley and Dawson came out to the house and gave me a quote to replace our 23 year old heating and AC system, along with the old humidifier. Today, three trucks rolled up to the house (exactly when they said they would be here). They laid drop cloths down and went to work. In about 5 hours all of the old equipment was gone, all debris rolled up in the drop cloths, and now sitting here warm and extremely comfortable on a 27 degree day outside. The three technicians, Gage, Caleb, and John, were professional, efficient, and extremely nice to deal with. In a world today where it seems like customer service has gone out the window, that is not the case with this company. They answered all of my questions and even made some changes to my duct work at no additional cost. To top it all off, of the three quotes I received, they were the least expensive by several hundred dollars. This will be the company I use for any future heating and air needs.

I cant say enough about the service that Brian from Kelley & Dawson provided today. My very old AC was not cooling so I called them. Long story short, he checked it and realized it was shot and I needed a new one. He explained that it would take several days to get it installed because they are backed up, and I almost started crying because my daughter, son-in-law and 6 month old grandson are arriving on Sunday from San Francisco for a two week visit. I couldnt imagine their discomfort in this heat. Brian had a remedy and he made it happen - he got a temporary unit from their office and within an hour, had it installed and working, so I will have cool house until the new unit can be installed. We had the pleasure of having our fall furnace checkup done by the Kelly-Dawson firm. The tec. (Chad) that did our service did a GOOD JOB and was very nice to talk to! When I called for the service I was very pleased to have the phone rep that setup the service offer a date that was only two days from my request! We plan on this firm to be on the list of have again to do our AC/furnace work!Thank You for a job that pleased us to the max!

I needed a new AC unit so I put out for three bids. Kelley and Dawson wasn’t the highest or lowest bid they were right in the middle. What sold me is the time and care the Kelley and Dawson technician took inspecting my old system, taking measurements, writing down careful notes, etc. He was kind of an older fellow and you could tell he knew what he was doing. Also the old unit had a Kelley and Dawson sticker and it had lasted much longer than normal before it went dead. When the new unit was installed this same technician came by to inspect everything and make sure the installers did a good job. Later when the city inspector came out I told him about this very thorough technician who personally saw to the quality of the work. The city inspector fellow told me Kelley and Dawson is one of the best in all of Wichita and furthermore that “technician” was actually the owner of the company! Apparently the owner of Kelley and Dawson personally makes sure every system is done right. City inspector fellow went down to my basement with a flashlight, looked the installation over for literally like less than a minute, declared it was a top quality job, and signed off the paperwork. Amazing service from Kelley and Dawson and the new unit has worked perfectly so far. My top rating for Kelley and Dawson. -Paul Klusman

I had to buy a new HVAC system early summer 2018. They got it all done before 1:00pm. Only issue I had is the wires were not lock nut tight so the system would keep shutting off. Once the wires were properly connected and tight it worked just fine. Easy fix. I received free fall and spring maintenance for the first year. Ben was the technician for the Spring cleaning and he was great explaining how easy it is to clean the coils.

I cannot say enough great things about the wonderful people of Kelley and Dawson! In the past two months I have called them to two different residences, for two different reasons and they were honest, fair, and reasonable. They do not want to sell you a part you do not need and will listen to your concerns and address them to you. I was offered a great explanation of the problems with my units, and they were both fixed promptly. The last call I made to them I had a tech at my doorstep in 15 minutes. I had a Trane system that was over 16 years old so knew we would have to do something before long. The blower motor on our unit started having issues and had to turn off our furnace one evening and it was pretty cold. Called Kelley & Dawson the next morning. They had a tech out first thing. I thought it might be just the capacitor which did test weak. He replaced it and everything was running good. I asked for a quote to replace my entire system because of age. The prices were very reasonable. Right before I called to get a few questions on the quote answered my unit started having issues again. I talked to BJ and he had the tech come back out and put in a new motor free to get me by while we worked through the options on a new system. Everyone I worked with was very friendly and didnt try pushing me into upgrades and explained what was appropriate for my house. They answered my questions and made suggestions based on my questions. I got a completely new system installed within a week.

The service was predictably wonderful. As I had a maintenance task that I couldnt accomplish, I called the company and after explaining that I was unable to access the filter cage, I was was told that someone could come out within a short time. The service man was very nice and worked quite awhile to make the filter more easily accessible. He insured that I could remove the slide/door to the cage with much more ease than in the past seven years during which I had to use a hammer and pliers to pull the door up.

Roger is very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to make sure the system you have is the system you need. The support staff are always very friendly and do a great job servicing my system every 6 months. it keeps everything a good working order and saves on repairs down the road.

Chad was very friendly and professional. He quickly found where our condensate pump line was blocked and cleared it. Everything is back to working fine. I would definitely call them again if any other problems arise.

So, this company seems like small business, but it is actually well run and fairly priced. I had my winter maintenance done today on my furnace. Kelley & Dawson Service always takes excellent care of my heating and cooling equipment. I look forward to having them back out in the spring for my air conditioner maintenance!

The A/C for the house stopped cooling and after already having a different repair service cancel I called Kelley & Dawson Service. They had a specialist out within a few hours and Chad had the problem fixed in under half an hour, complete with a new air filter and some helpful planning for a new unit. Quick, responsive, and friendly!

Our AC stopped working a few weeks ago. Of course it had to go out at about 8:00 at night during the hottest stretch weve had yet this summer. Our house was 90 degrees by morning! I was dreading what was going to happen during the day the following day while my wife and kids were scheduled to be at home all day. I desperately called about six different AC service companies that night and early the following morning and had yet to receive any answers or any response. I would have paid about anything to the first person that could get the thing fixed. I was whining about it when I arrived at the office in the morning and a coworker recommended Kelly & Dawson so, of course, I called immediately. I actually got a person on the phone on my first call and they had a technician at my house and the AC up and running in about two hours for a very reasonable rate. I definitely know who I will be using for all of my future heating & AC needs. Thank you Kelly & Dawson for your super fast service, and for saving this guy from very miserably overheated wife and children.

Caleb Higgins was very knowledgeable and explained the faulty part and how replacing it will get my heater back up and running. It is 7 degrees outside tonight. My home was 50 ddegrees.I would recommend Kelley & Dawson for quick, reliable, and honest service.

My AC unit stopped working, so I called Kelley & Dawson Service expecting to make an appointment several days out. They sent a technician the same day. He was very competent getting right to the root of the problem and performing the necessary repairs quickly. He was also very personable. I recommend them without hesitation.

Ive used Kelley & Dawson services for 20 years. I recently reviewed several companies to replace my furnace and air-conditioner. They are priced competitively and did a superb job in quickly removing and installing the new units. Technicians are professional, courteous and always prompt. I wouldnt trust any other company for my homes HVAC needs.

I just cant say enough good things about Kelley & Dawson. They were the only company I called when my A/C cratered last week that could come out the same day. Turned out the entire system had died of old age and needed to be replaced. Their estimate was right in the ballpark and I felt good about having them install a new system.
